I am trying to sell my appartment for 200 bitcoins according to current rate, how real is it to sell with bitcoins?

WHERE ? THE AREA ? COUNTRY?

I would love to know if this is real and what happens.  How would you feel if the price of Bitcoin falls by 50% the day after the sale.  What will you do if after agreeing a price with the buyer, the value of Bitcoin doubles, will you try to renegotiate?

WompRat! Dear WompRat it is a risk that i am going to take on myself, so once i sell the appartment even if the price drops to default price I will not disturb the buyer with renegotiation or asking my appartment back, everything will be notarized, thank you for question.

how does the escrow work if you're making such a large purchase? i'm not familiar with all of this.. and it sounds like it could be a nightmare if you make a mistake.

the buyer would also need to be present there to sign the s&p right ? or are you just doing a name transfer , as i dont think bitcoins would be a valid currency for official purchasing

Sounds more like an art project than a sensible financial transaction though.

i think its possible with a 99 years lease for apartments , land on the hand its a different story.

Well the purchase can be done by 2 ways, Remotely, you are sending a notarized letter of attorney on the name of whom you trust so he can make the deal in notarized office in here OR you come here by person. Once you or your authorized person  are here, we go to notarized office and making a preselling order which describe the protocol of buying and selling deal, which describe the following: During 3 hours your side as buyer is taking a notarized responsibility transfer 200 bitcoins on my bitcoin wallet address which I am providing, and my side as seller taking responsibility to transfer the rights of ownership to buyer,  once the money is deposited on my account, again it is being confirmed by notarized office and you get full rights of the ownership of apartment, if you not deposit the money during 3 hours the agreement will be abrogated. Everything will be happening in the presence of a notary, so both sides will be protected by law, everything will be documented.

By the time you find a buyer and negotiate - the value of 200 bitcoins could be drastically different in one direction or the other. Either way that would sour the deal for one of you. Your best bet would be to negotiate the price in fiat, and maybe agree to pay the bitcoin equivalent at settlement, based on 24 hours or so of weighed average data to arrive at a conversion rate.

I've never even been to Armenia and don't have that kind of coin - but good luck with your venture!  ;)

Yes if the value of bitcoin will be drastically different in one of other direction, then of course the apartment price will be changed in BTC accordingly. It is great place for living, work and business, almost any startup business here in IT field will live and be average profitable, i cant say it can be compared to Dubai for example, but it will be profitable. I could not understand the question about security, please specify if you are talking about internet and firewall stuff or security in city, but i can say both directions are very secure, in the capital of city it is like living in  any european city, everything is just like in Europe.

Ha ha, sounds like a very extreme and crazy idea (unless money doesn't matter to you). I can't believe hardly anyone is objecting. If the buyer pays in the first 5 minutes of those three hours or 2 hours later might make a difference of 50% in the buying price.

Also, it's a question of how long you are planning to keep the BCs, there is the risk of them going to 0 at any time. If I just have 5% of my net worth in BCs, I can absolutely take that. If your apartment is 60% or more of what you have - well, that could be gone any time, for as long as you are keeping it in BCs.

Anyways, good luck! I hope you will make double of what it's worth right now.

Bloggood. Yes like me mentioned before i take the risk on myself, so if the money goes to after signing at notarial office i will take all risk on myself, the buyer only need to send me 200BTC. You think there is no overhead for both parties, yes the only overhead here is the fee of notarial office, wich me as a seller is going to cover that, it is not a large amount like 20 US dollars. You were interested in how many camels I would ask for my apartment, so I calculated, it is going to be not profitable for buyer, because first it will cost a very large amount of money to import them to my country, plus the climate is not the best for camels, they will die out, I don`t have angar for them and special equipments to support them. Here camels are not popular as pets rather then capital, transport, business or even for food:) Regarding other project we are group of 13 programers with my leadership and providing cheap programming services like programming, web building, design and hardware diagnostic and repaire. We are looking for investor to invest money in our project, to turn my apartment(mentioned earlier in topics) to a web studio so our team have place to work effectively and make more profit from it. It was already mentioned in my message that I am selling my apartment for 200 BTC, when the clean 200BTC will settle on the address i am porividing then we will make the deal, otherwise no deal and sellers side does not care if buyer have to pay transaction fee, converting his real money using middleman exchangers or anything else. It is not my problem. As for local taxes, only seller pay taxes, it is my problem and does not refer to buyer, he is not obligated with any kind of taxes. Thank you for your query.

To be honest, due to the slow transaction speed, and blockchain bloating etc... I see bitcoin's future use mostly to high-value transactions such as these, apartments, property, automobiles etc... Something where one would usually take a lease or mortgage, paid with bitcoins.

that's what i said. and litecoin would be made for smaller purchases. so then i went to buy some BTC from coinbase to buy some LTC from btc-e.. it's been pending for 4 days now, and ltc has jumped from $9 to $40.. fuck!

 just sell you about 100 of them and get a house save the
rest til about 2020 lol then you will be rich.

Not it would not become a nightmare, as everything is notarized and checked by sides, so there might not be any mistake, just both sides need to be attentive to check each character of addresses. There is no escrow, like I described earlier everything is happening in notarial office officially.

I don`t exclude the option of selling for cash as well, if you are interested in buying for cash, just p.m. me. Like I said before, i have a project and I need bitcoins to invest in my project. Thank you for your message:)

Alina-malina you want to sell your precious apartment for so called junks named bitcoin. Are you serious? So you need to know price Come on bitcoin is a unstable junk which may be of $1000 and very next day it shall be below $500 so really you are wasting your apartment for the junk. Bitcoins price might have changed $100 during the time I took for typing
