Is it allowed to keep my current signature (as long as yours is on top)?

Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.

Is it allowed to keep my current signature (as long as yours is on top)?

Yes.

I can do this as long as you pay for my signature right now.
I can't really beleive that a newbie will pay that much for a signature, so if you pay upfront (for 801 posts)

1Q2CupiU5DfWupRGBQ66QYRqvxoNxGZCcn

I can do it  :o

With this signature, you will probably have to pay a few BTC a month, perhaps 3 + BTC.
Could you show us your wallet address so we can actually see you have enough funding?

BTW, I made my game on your site, but I don't like the idea of payouts every 4 weeks, I'd prefer instantly in order for me to start promoting.

Too good to be true or your payment scheme is for posts per month (which it probably is). Please clarify.

This is the rate chart for this month, because this service is new.

You can start now.

@ALL, I am getting PM's to pay early. I am not going to do so. Many of you are also asking for a funds proof. Sure, I'll post that tomorrow to the main thread.

:)

PS: The website is back with a full bang! Have fun!

So, a month from now you'll pay me 0.61 BTC, right?

Yes, if you add the links to your signature and NOT remove it for the whole month.

That is very suspicious. Especially taking into account you are a junior member that just created a gambling site and is paying this amount of money just for advertising.

That's why I asked for payment in advance, it sounds a bit too good to be true.

Haha, oh please.  Can it be more obvious of a scam?  Nobody would pay that much.  If he did even a little research, he'd see he can get away with paying a lot less.  I hope nobody falls for this.  If he does end up paying, I'll be the first to apologize.

He should if it's not a scam. You risk the well established reputation if you take the payment in advance and don't keep the signature as agreed.

I think it's SUPER obvious that for 0.6 BTC a month, NO ONE in their sane mind would scam and remove signature after payment, especially people with 1200+ posts...  The fact that being new, he won't pay first, shows that this is a scam 100%.  I mean, even after first month if he paid first, people would accept him paying second, as he'd have enough or a reputation built just from that!

You can't jump to the conclusion of them being the scam.
The only thing right now you should be feeling is suspicion, we will await the OP's apply before making judgement.

You can try not to, but you can read the information given at http://www.bitsplay.ga/info/

if a game hits -50 BTC in overall balance, that game will be stopped and all the addresses will become deposit addresses. All the BTC coming in will go to the Game Bank. The game will restart as soon as the counter is back -5 BTC or higher.

Scams rarely state negative rules like the one you quoted (the aim of a scam is to attract as many people as possible)
IMO putting this in your website shows a bit of honesty

(or reverse psychology?)

Or it is just assuming that people won't read that, which seems to be the case so far. Then if anything happens they can claim you forgot to read that.

btw, the aim of the scam to attract many people is already working. See how many people answered to this thread, and the guy is now trying to "buy" free spam.

For the reason already stated, I believe he can pay this considering the average bitcointalk user (just being nice here, it actually works for >95%). How is he going to pay: scam some players in his site, pay the signatures spammed over the forum, grab more users to be scammed, pay more spam signatures, ...

In this case, being provably fair means nothing given the other condition stated in the site.

Firstly, I posted up a fund proof in the main thread. Look up here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345107.msg3706334#msg3706334

Now, I'll start answering the questions that appear in this thread.

Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.
So, a month from now you'll pay me 0.61 BTC, right?
Yes, if you add the links to your signature and NOT remove it for the whole month.
That's more than $500 at current rate...

Take in note that, I am paying you BTC, and NOT USD. I would definitely not pay anyone that much via PayPal or in fiat.

is there any guarentee you would not run out after 1 month and must pay mean some escrow in start is good idea
+1  I'll join it this were to happen :)
@ OP, I hope you understand everyone's doubts.  You are a new member with a new website and nothing more, we can't exactly trust your word at the moment ;/

I am not new to Bitcoin, I made this account just for this announcement. Said that a member has "Jr. Member" tag does not mean that he/she is a scammer or doesn't know anything.

<Too many posts about Escrow and payment stuff>

I can do escrow, but not at this moment. This service is fairly new and the betting volume is too low to earn profits. I hope you understand.

<Reading too many posts about saying this being a scam>

Why does the Bitcoin community takes everything as scam? I am damn sure that's one reason why not many people adopt Bitcoin. There were many Bitcoin services that came and go. Why? Because people thought of them being a scam.

At least trust me for a moment, I am here only for one reason, and that is to answer all your questions and queries. The payout might be high in fiat, but it's not very high. I read someone saying that it is "10x" of what other are paying. WRONG. PrimeDice is paying nearly the same, I am just about 30% above that, that too only for known/established members.

Added siggy ;)

Nice! I'll create a Google Doc to list all the people and their profile link who post in this thread for payment. That will help me and everyone and will maintain transparency. :)

Yes, people do forget to read such details. And that's one reason I am repeatedly linking to the info page all over the website and on the top too! It's always good to go through every part of the scheme/website before throwing money on it. I appreciate that.

Just saw someone's feedback here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345107.msg3704892#msg3704892

So is this game a scam?

No, read more posts there.

It's not clear to me whether this is pay fir existing posts or fir new posrs each month.

For number of posts that you attain at the end of payout period. :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More doubts? Email is the best way to get the answer. I still have the limit of 1 post per 6 minutes. Tough, I'll still answer every question here. :)

Keep playing and good luck! :)

I have a question. Do you pay for the post we make in 30 days, or just the post you have in general?

So for example if I would register with 1300 posts, would that automatically give me 0.6 BTC at the end of the 30 days?

You get paid for posts at the end of the month. (Only non-spam posts within the month)

Let's say, you posted your address with 75 posts, after a month you have 200 posts, You will get paid for 200 posts. I hope that clears it.

Sig doesn't work
You need to have at least 10 posts to put links in your signature.

OP, PrimeDice has similar payouts, but they only pay for the posts you make during a month, not all of the posts you have after it. This is why everyone believes it is a scam, you simply pay way too much.

This promote provides more competitive payments over Prime Dice only if you make more than 500 posts/month!

I really hope that OP wants to create a nice business and that he is legit and all, but imo it's not worth the risk.

If he can provide better payments for the low post counts, to compensate for the risk i 'll consider it.

And by better i mean something like:
50-100:    0.03 BTC 0.04 BTC
101-250:   0.06 BTC 0.08 BTC
251-500:   0.12 BTC 0.15 BTC

What do you think bitsplay.ga?

PrimeDice is trying really hard to make that happen, i.e. not opening again. But at least it's not announcing a max bet of 100 BTC, like your site is, while you don't even have that (even assuming your own screenshots showing 89 + 3 bitcoins).

It pays for total posts counted at the end of the period. @OP Also, just wanted to say that I'll probably join after a month or so if it turns out to be real. Besides that, do you accept multiple sigs and would you be willing to pay in advance to a (or multiple) trustworthy member(s) (proving you aren't scamming)?

You pay per posts we actually have or by post we made during advertising period?

Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.

So, a month from now you'll pay me 0.61 BTC, right?

Yes, if you add the links to your signature and NOT remove it for the whole month.

You get BTC 0.6.

You may be legit, or the complete opposite, who knows?

Of course his business may become unsuccessful and he has trouble paying a month from now. Or whatever else.

Now please guys, after 5 pages of doubts, do whatever you want to do at your own risk and quit harassing the OP.

What I'm trying to say here is that: 1) a startup project is already a burden; 2) paying so much for sigs is indeed viable but if his project becomes successful. I believe it is in his interest and of whoever intends to use the sig and get paid, to support the OP instead of holding him back. You can't lock capital of a startup on an escrow!

I suggest that people refer his business, provide assistance, give suggestions in some way help it be succesful. It's best for all, it may work and be sustainable for a few months to get these fat payouts for sigs

Having rewards of this magnitude means the site's income must be suspiciously high. Where does the money come from? I am sceptical that a casino allowing bets up to 100 BTC with a 1% house edge is going to be the only source of income when the owner barely has a fund of 100 BTC.

Im taking one for the team to find out if this is true. If not, he will consequently receive a scammer tag. I will let you guys know in 1 month!

12hYBWiPqfwdveGzpbRdGxeqnoMcNvGNSq

801 posts which equals a payout of 0.32BTC + 0.01BTC as I've included the link to my own game.

Thanks

Really, to be honest, YOU deserve a scammer tag, spamming 24/7 on gambling sites such as 24/7.
You are not on any team of mine.

We don't even know if he has 1 BTC...

As this is overcutting my service AND stealing my signature layout & styling completely. I would like to promptly note, that whilst you will get slightly higher rewards, please keep in mind the reputation of OP. With a little research you can easily conclude this is definitely a high risk investment of your time.

Trade with caution, but by all means prove me wrong, OP.

I think OP must clarify if it is new posts, or existing posts that get paid. I think if you start now, he will only count all posts starting from today until 30 days later.

bitsplay.ga, please clarify.

Because, if it's total posts over the lifetime of the account, then that's also a good deal for both parties, as he gets sig exposure over the more than 1200+ I have already made.

All posts:

You pay per posts we actually have or by post we made during advertising period?

Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.

So, a month from now you'll pay me 0.61 BTC, right?

Yes, if you add the links to your signature and NOT remove it for the whole month.

Yeah, and I guess I'm jumping out from this one pretty soon...

He can't prove you wrong.
On a side note, he can't prove he has the BTC either, because they are spread through 32000 addresses for "security" lol.

Users, you have been warned.  Like I have reccommended before, change the layout and put the funds you will pay in escrow.

This would be the best approach. Escrow with someone with reputation would help both the OP and the siggers. That is, if he is actually legit.

He didn't scam yet but he refused to show some paid winning bets so far, he refused to use escrow, he refused to give his addresses, etc

I'll be happy to remove the rating once he gives us some positive details

A completely new user with a completely new website with no proof of owning ANY bitcoin and paying the highest for signature payments...

When a good person with a real offer comes along he can back up the offer and not disappear from the forum after being called out.

There could be situations in which he would be unable to back it up at the time. Disappearing is another thing.
We said that it is most likely a scam within the same day, didn't even give enough time (although this isn't a good example as it was a scam).

He has refused multiple times to provide any addresses that he stores his bitcoins on.

I'm not even sure whether we can trust anyone to a great extent (at least on this forum), as it has been shown time and time again that there are people willing to wait a long time to gain rep and trust before scamming a lot of people out of coin. Thus, I find it even harder to trust newbie's without any tangible proof.

I am not agree with this theory that trust no-one because if you are not trusting then how is this work going ahead you must have to trust and then check now few peoples doing this work and if they got paid then few must joine more and hope in next 1 or 2 months clear all this

Why am I discouraging people who are likely to get scammed? I'm offering friendly advice, they don't have to take it. I didn't tell anyone to not do it, just why take the risk? Why go for this which might be a complete waste of time and effort when there's somebody who has been doing the same for longer just for a tiny bit less and there's good evidence that he pays out. If the guy wanted to "show his worth" he could've done this by using a bond or putting the cash in escrow. That's up to him.

Should I not offer advice to newbs in what are most likely blatant scam threads? I usually never say "DO NOT DO THIS THIS IS A BLATANT SCAM", just advise that I'm sceptical. And I never said this was a scam, just advised users to take caution and offered what appears to be a safer alternative. I'm only trying to help out. If they want to take the risk, that's fine. I'd rather risk taking 0.4BTC from somebody who appears to be trusted than risk taking 0.6 from a newb with zero trust and getting nothing. If people want to take that chance, then as I said before I hope you guys get some coins, and if he pays out he will have gained our trust and a lot of business.

Why are you not participating in this?

Don't worry. Some people like taking big risks. This service is like a gamble: you bet your time, you either get nothing or something big. The the thing is that the odds are small.

Can I ask why people are deciding to choose this offer rather than go with Stunna?

Yup. Everybodies gotta start somewhere, but saying that, even if you are going for the full whack of 801-1200+ posts, is it really worth the risk? I'd at least let others test it out first whilst I stuck with what seems to be the safer bet with Stunna. Be funny if you all get paid and Stunna reneges hahaha. ;D (Stunna, if you are reading this, I am only joking  :D).

And it's not so bad with you as you were one of the first to step-up and claim/try this, but I was directing my confusion at the people who are still signing up for this when he hasn't even posted anything since the 26th. I really hope you all get what you are entitled to though.

They are either sock puppets of the scammer or incredibly naive

Most are just incredibly naive.
Wait and see, if/once this guy doesn't pay out, they'll all start bawling like babies.

How bad the KARMA would be the OP can't imagine if he is really scamming people into working the whole month and not paying a dime.

It's not actually work is it? I wouldn't make less posts a month without the signature so it doesn't make a difference,

The one I trust most that is currently open for anyone would be Stunna's signature payment thread.
He is very trustworthy, runs primedice, and has been paying out many times already.

Don't go there if you are going to spam though ;)

Someone who is willing to pay $600 per month for a signature sure can afford a real domain name, right? I did not realize this before, but I think it is obvious now.

+1, wow I didn't realize .ga was a free TLD. I just bought a .io for like $30 so I just assumed it cost him a pretty penny for a two letter TLD.

The reason why i put his link in my signature is because it wouldn't hurt me if he didn't pay, and since my signature has nothing, why not give it a try?

I know there is a 0.00001% that he will pay, if he does not, i will just remove it.

The most i get is people saying im his sock puppet, advertising spam etc etc, that doesn't bother me.

TLDR: I have nothing to lose

You misunderstand. You're helping him con more people, not here with signatures, but on his possibly scammy website. It seems like you have no problem promoting a potentially scammy website since it's in your signature. It looks bad on you too.

Hello, I am back. I was not present here because I had to meet someone for upgraded server and new promo deals.

Firstly, for the reimbursement of this time and stuff, I am waiving of all fees and commissions and a 100% payof for all bets for 1 week, ie: 7 days.

Secondly, the doc wasn't updated all this time, I updated it now.

Also, why did someone added a negative trust without a reference? Even that, I have no relation to him.

Now, let's answer everything!

So OP how is this working out for your site?

So far, not so good, not many people are liking this as people are criticizing. I expect a uplift.

Having rewards of this magnitude means the site's income must be suspiciously high. Where does the money come from? I am sceptical that a casino allowing bets up to 100 BTC with a 1% house edge is going to be the only source of income when the owner barely has a fund of 100 BTC.

This is the beginning, I expect a loss in first 1-2 months. :)

PS: I have funds ~500 BTC (including everything)

As this is overcutting my service AND stealing my signature layout & styling completely. I would like to promptly note, that whilst you will get slightly higher rewards, please keep in mind the reputation of OP. With a little research you can easily conclude this is definitely a high risk investment of your time.

Trade with caution, but by all means prove me wrong, OP.

Sorry Stunna for keeping the format. But the truth is, I love PrimeDice and the format! :D

Quote
Everything Else

I was working with the dev to bring the best out of this. He is redesigning the website and also optimizing it. New games + features are coming soon. Also, the betting volume was pretty low these days. Negative profit, as expected. No problem with that.

I will be bringing new rewards for everyone, just to prove that I am not a scammer and this is real.

Please reach me via email for anything, everything on bitcointalk.org is slow and painful. Email: bitsplay.web@gmail.com

And, I received a few request for people willing to review my site for BTC. I have to ask, why paid reviews? If I had to pay someone for review, what's the cause? It is like promotion and NOT review. If people are willing to do a legit review, good to go. If you want money for that, no thanks, I'll build rep without your review. :)

btw, did someone find the Easter egg on Black Friday or the Cyber Monday (worth 0.1 BTC)?  ;D

You won't be trusted until you publish all the bets and proofs in the games

I suggest you reduce the max bet , atleast to seem more trustable.
EG : Max winnings = 10 % of bankroll , max bet based on that.
Until you can provide proof that you have over 6 million bitcoins
100 max bet * 60thousand something odds = 6 million
If someone bets 100 and wins the min odds , they will be definitely scammed ( even if you are Satoshi )

There is no way that he is going to pay that much. He refuses to use escrow and has incredibly high rates? It makes absolutely no sense. OP, prove me wrong.

Ya. All he did was give a snapshot of coinbase. That doesnt really mean anything.

Well IMO that doesn't prove anything either - TF decided to run away and screw up his ad signature payments along with it - after paying successfully without a problem for many months.  I'm thinking that we can't give this user as much trust as we could with TF before he scammed; it's a new user that is offering the highest of payouts while copying Stunna's signature ad campaign almost exactly.

The good thing is that if he does payout for the first month, Stunna would probably increase his price to overbid him.

Even more when you're considering that this guy refused to prove that payments for winning bets were made
He promised he would publish "soon" the history of bets and payments since the beginning, but never actually did it

To hope for something out of nothing is the most popular form of hope. Though this guy may still end up paying the promised sums at least to some of his subscribers (we shouldn't completely rule out the possibility of this)...

There's hope, and then there's just hope-destroying reality. I'd cover my ass and go with the safer bet at first to see if this new guy pays out, then they can switch.

Added to sig.

Address: 1KWkerFUa6ZZQgaBoHJQnPWD5XfGDBwBbP

You might want to wait a couple of days to see if people get paid out first.

Yeah, might be a good idea before you waste any time.

Payments should be coming in any day now, right? Although I can't see peeps being paid out on xmas day or even boxing day, so hopefully by the 27th we'll have some answers.

You're probably best Pming him or emailing, because he hasn't posted here since the 14th.

Well, that post was just for fun. Sorry if you misunderstood.
I'm waiting like everyone else to see if it's legit before putting that in my sig.

Well my month is up in an hour or so, so let's see if the masses were right and it's a scam, or if you are for real.
0.21btc please for 503 posts.
If you pay, then count me in for another month too.

How does this work exactly?
Do earnings depend on how many posts you have at time of the payment period, or how many posts you've made after adding the sig?
Also, how often do you pay out?

I've checked in the blockchain, no payment sent to the addresses that were due 24 and 25 december.

Now we are allowed to say this is a scam.

Please, everybody remove his link from your signature.

Is it a good idea removing the sig? Not that it probably matters, but if he checks and sees there's no sig he could refuse payout. I'd suggest users private messaging the guy / emailing as I doubt he's following the thread closely.

Had the OP been actually going to pay out that much money (huge $600 for the upper tier at the time), I think he would have bothered to make his ad signature look like nothing else out there instead of just copying it, lol. You don't take into account the total sums involved in these campaigns. Last time Stunna, by his own words, ended up paying out more than $10,000 in payments...

That's true, but Stunna's site/signature payouts are far more popular, and the advertising in signatures here is a good way to get your service out there and is still quite cheap compared to other alternatives. Buy yeah, I assumed this wasn't legit from the start. If the site was a scam though, surely we would’ve heard about it on here with people crying that they lost their money.

I couldn't fathom why people switched over from a reputable guy who has a history of paying out to a complete newb. The pay brackets were the same as Stunna's up to 501-801 posts, and even then most people won't've got near those amounts any way, so was it really worth the risk? Looks like no.

Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.

But this is a big sprawling writing across the wall, since if this campaign is legit, the said simply doesn't make sense as an advertising service...

Where are your such huge words?
Why does the Bitcoin community takes everything as scam? I am damn sure that's one reason why not many people adopt Bitcoin. There were many Bitcoin services that came and go. Why? Because people thought of them being a scam.

At least trust me for a moment, I am here only for one reason, and that is to answer all your questions and queries. The payout might be high in fiat, but it's not very high. I read someone saying that it is "10x" of what other are paying. WRONG. PrimeDice is paying nearly the same, I am just about 30% above that, that too only for known/established members.

Are you still in this word? What a shame? At least if you have paid a single person who used your sig. because of scamers like you we people are fadenup.

Firstly, I posted up a fund proof in the main thread. Look up here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345107.msg3706334#msg3706334

Now, I'll start answering the questions that appear in this thread.

You pay per posts we actually have or by post we made during advertising period?
Payment is based on number of posts you will have after the month, ie: time of payment.
So, a month from now you'll pay me 0.61 BTC, right?
Yes, if you add the links to your signature and NOT remove it for the whole month.

Added siggy ;)

Nice! I'll create a Google Doc to list all the people and their profile link who post in this thread for payment. That will help me and everyone and will maintain transparency. :)

Added siggy ;)

Nice! I'll create a Google Doc to list all the people and their profile link who post in this thread for payment. That will help me and everyone and will maintain transparency. :)

More doubts? Email is the best way to get the answer. I still have the limit of 1 post per 6 minutes. Tough, I'll still answer every question here. :)

As a general rule you should assume everything on here is a scam or at least be very suspicious until proved otherwise.

I'm betting neither. Don't know why OP would bother coming back now to defend himself unless they were going to pay out.

How does this work exactly?
  • You put the link in the signature
  • People go to bitsplay and get scammed
  • OP earns money
  • You never get paid for the sig

And that is what you call a pessimistic :)

OP was asked several times to provide any proof of payment in bitsplay, any proof of him having enough money to administrate his game and the history of winning and losing bets in bitsplay
He refused to provide them

The truth is that, no one actually played here. There were only 2 bets, of 0.01 BTC. Both were paid. (one of them was a lose)

The main reason I see is because of jackjack's first rating, no one seem to try it after that! JUST NONE. The system was actually working for the past month, it was just 5 days back I shut down the payment system. Overall, this was a mere loss for me, worth ~$350, which I paid for VPS hosting, thoe clients, and Heroku instances.

Then I thought, I should not waste another ~$3000 in paying you all guys. I could start something other with this actually.

Most probably, if jackjack had not added that first trust, you all would have been paid because people would have tried it.

Anyways, tata bye bye. If anyone still wants to invest in my games (there are 2 more currently active, in this forum itself, which I won't tell you since you guys will close them down too!), I am available on the email ID. By invest, I mean it. Not 0.01 BTC, but 10 to 100 BTC.

Bye! :) :D

Then what about all the people who saw your site without seeing your negative trust?

If you wanted to get your site advertised properly and was legitimately planning to pay out, you could've put the money in escrow and you would've had an influx of people taking you up on the offer and had your site plastered all over this forum, but instead you got a handful. Probably half of people would've switched over from other payouts to use this. I don't believe you were ever genuine.

Provided all you've said is true, you should have started with something very simple running in test mode. But you seem to have wanted easy money right then, but ended up even losing some. I think this will serve you a good lesson...

If users can't offer evidence that they can be trusted or have the deal then they shouldn’t be. It's up to them to prove that their deal it legit and worthy of our time. Otherwise don't use it as you're essentially promoting and propagating a scam.

I've been using very harsh words recently in the Local section (but justifiably indeed and right to the point). Actually, they are obscene and forbidden in any kind of official talk (but everybody still makes use of them from time to time in informal circumstances). Thought that I would be warned at least, lol...

He might be saying sarcastically (not saying he was, it can be interpreted in a way). What I noticed that the moderation policy is to controll objective problems such as spam, flame wars and leave any subjective problems for the users to fix. This is a libertarian oriented forum after all, freedom of action, speech and such.

The rules are somewhat paradoxical and contradictory at times. Scammers usually aren’t banned but spammers sometimes are, and each mod has a different definition or what a actually spammer is.

The thing is that everything people say can be interpreted subjectively and such interpretation can be handled in a bad way. For example, let's say I post in a forum called TyrannyTalk that "I don't like that Steve guy" while Steve is a friend of the admin. The admin takes an alt army and slanders me with posts about me scamming users, presents faked proof. After that he orders the mods to ban me and poof, banned. See what I mean?

Meanwhile in BitcoinTalk people see a scammer and each user with different amounts of rep rates him appropriately. Another user dealing with him sees the ratings and makes a descision to trade with him or to cancel the deal.

Oh well it was too good to be true  ::) .Offering these rates for existing posts is just near to impossible as the owner would need to pay at least 100 BTC for all customers monthly.

That is one clue to it being a scam -- 'too good to be true' should ring loud alarm bells, much louder than the 'greed' people are feeling.

Why is this thread still not locked ?

Bloody scammer
Scammer or not, it's for the community to decide and police it. The forum's policy is to monitor the basics such as spam, off-topic threads, not scams.

The guy admitted to be a scammer
He might be saying sarcastically (not saying he was, it can be interpreted in a way). What I noticed that the moderation policy is to controll objective problems such as spam, flame wars and leave any subjective problems for the users to fix. This is a libertarian oriented forum after all, freedom of action, speech and such.
He said that AND didn't pay anyone
Do you need more proof?

He wasn't saying it sarcastically; he was being mocking and just rubbing it in.

So is this actually a scammer-tolerant forum, i.e. scammers ain't banned, and their threads ain't locked? What other libertarianisms does it allow?

My goodness, I truly am a Lawful Good little mouse :P

The rules are somewhat paradoxical at times.

The whole discussion started because he wasn't banned and the thread wasn't locked. I was talking about the policy, not separate cases. In this case, yeah, I know, he's a lowlife scammer, but the policy is that the community decides if he's guilty not the mods.

While this a good rule, most of the people I meet say Bitcoin sounds to good to be true and assume it's a scam  :D.

Even if it is a scam (looks too good to be true), it doesn't prevent us from making some real money with it. Though I agree, we in this case are not much in fact very different from the OP we all condemn here now for scamming, lol...

I've meant to say eager to prove that it is you who are wrong meaning that those people are actually right (about their assumptions that bitcoin is a financial pyramid)...

Well, they're right to be sceptical, especially if something appears to be too good to be true. I have more respect for people who are sceptical but don't make a decision until they've studied all the facts as opposed to those who are sold on something as a solid investment within five minutes.

Mods don't deal with scams or scammers. In fact, if you report them or this thread you'll probably even get it marked as a bad report.
