hi, can suggest 2 or 3 longterm coins with good potential and team?! no ico pls.

These are very good with generally low risk high reward coins. I recommend you check them out. Stuff like BTC and ETH have very little growth left in them since they're already at a high marketcap.

Waves is a strong buy right now and you should add it to your portfolio. The waves team already deployed smartcontract into their TestNet and the price is already climbing up. Waves is a great long term invest and it will follow Ethereum sooner or later!

The Multiversum ICO is a strong investment, so I would most certainly recommend it.The team already has an existing product or prototype, that will actually benefit with exploiting the blockchain for its existing product with new technology.
ICOs are tricky to predict nowadays, but if you are willing to weather the storms then placing your trust in a solid product like the Multiversum project can have great returns in the long run.
Just be picky with investing in crypto as you would in the real world, and you will see the difference.

Small investments will not bring you much money, even if they grow at times. It is better concentrated to invest in one or two, maximum three cryptocurrencies. Perhaps even better to buy tokens during the ICO, but here the risks are higher, you need to study in detail.

This is one of my favourite holding coin in my portfolio, as long as I own MNX and do parking MNX in Minexbank, I get passive income for 1 month 13% according to rate parking at this time. But I recommend to read and do research on minex platform and read the whitepaper.

I wouldn't diversify and divide my $2,000 that way. Gains through this type of diversification will be seen for a couple of months and loss can be also there so there's no assurance that all these coins will gain. You may gain for 2-3 coins but you can have a big loss with the other 2. For the first time investors, I'm telling them to stick and stay first with bitcoin and wait for their profit until the price hikes. And when they are ready and they've got higher capital that's the right time for them to diversify.

Your portfolio is good enough but I think you should increase the amount of money you're going to invest in XRP and decrease the amount of money in NEM. IMO I think XRP is much better than NEM and you also can see it on CMC cause XRP has really high rank on CMC than NEM. I think there are a lot of investors also think the same like me ;D

Maybe you can add the EOS and stellar. the coins if my opinion will have a fantastic price in the next few years later. Maybe you need to analyze this before investing. XRP and NEM I doubt will be successful for the long term.

The good practice is to split your investments into many coins, at least by 25% in my opinion and this is what I follow.

From your selection NEO and NEM are really good choices, others are not bad too however you can add few more to your portfolio, I would like to add WAVES and STRAT into the list.

I suggest entering Tron (TRX) into your portfolio. Hold for a year and you will see your profit. Someone told to me TRX is like ethereum before booming at this time. You can see on the last day Tron price movement, very promising for me.

People are mostly telling you to buy into coins because they already have bought it earlier and try to pump the price and then sell afterwards which makes the price drop.

Get in with HYDRO and LISK. You can also include ETC. These are my top three at the moment. I believe it will have the potential to give more because of continued development of technology eyeing the future utility.

maybe that I think the best potential coins are the top 3 names you mentioned, ADA, NEO, NEM. but you also can consider ethereum because I think Ethereum will be very good for long term.

It's obvious that everyone who is suggesting some coins that is not that popular is definitely has its own agenda not mainly to help the one who's asking what's good to invest but to pump his coin. I often see these questions all over the forum and I don't know if these people are introduced by an altcoiner and they are not including bitcoin to their portfolio.
Why is this low? we do have our own preference and division with our portfolio but having the lowest allocation for bitcoin is rare.

i'm agree with you for cardano (ADA) and NEO, but i will add 2 coins which i think it is good for longterm investment, they are ethereum and litecoin. especially i really trust ethereum, ethereum is the second most popular coin after bitcoin, i predict they will reach $1500 again or even more than it at the end of this year.

I would suggest to go for bitcoin first because it is soaring up these days. Though it would have been a lot better if this investment was made few weeks ago when bitcoin was roaming around 5k dollars but still, this is a golden opportunity of earning big profits.Other than this, I am not in favor of Ethereum at least. Agree. No point in investing in altcoins if you don't beleive in crypro-fathers. Rates of BTC still fully determine public mood and directions for altcoins to drop or rise. I would say 20-25% in BTC and ETH is a must

Sell ripple and verge, especially verge after the partnership fail. Look at the distributions of ripple, it is very centralized in every aspect. You can buy oax selling ripple or verge, it is solid project.

In my opinion, bitcoin and ethereum are good coins for long term investments. And also, maybe you should increase the amount of neo, because I think it is a really promising coin.

Note to XRP might be better replaced with XLM only.  Ripple has the difficult system because of centralized systems. so it would be very difficult if investing in ripple. Indeed many improvements but will remain very difficult to survive in competition with the others.

You can divide $ 2000 for 60% ethereum and 40% NEO. The two coins are suitable for long-term investment.

I don't like Ripple anymore since there are issues that say, XRP is a centralized coin and it is possible to turn in a scam or shitcoin since there is only one authority of Ripple. Yet, the price of XRP indicates that we need to buy more, I guess we cannot hold it in a long run. If I were you, I will put it in BTC or ETH rather than in ripple.

Why not just invest in both bitcoin and Eth? They are both long-term investments, and everybody knows that their prices will grow in a matter of time. Although it is a fact that the bitcoin pice is expensive. Yet, you should not buy it all, but a small amount as you will get profit bit by bit. As for Eth, it is the mini version of bitcoin. With speculation, the true value of a coin is obfuscated, only to be uncovered when the speculators leave and proceed onto the next big thing. The good thing with that is whenever they leave, the true value of the coin comes and then what drives the price is the technology of the coin and the team behind it. Nothing else. Or just go with an ICO that shows promise, like the Eterbase exchange.

With this amount that you are willing to invest in altcoin, I will suggest you invest 80% in ethereum and NEO because they have more promising potentials than other altcoin and they also have good technology and team. You can then invest the remaining 20% in EOS or litecoin.

I would consider adding to your portfolio some Iota and Bitcoin. Iota is one of the best and promising projects out there with the internet of things and free transactions based on tangle. And bitcoin is a trademark of cryptocurrencies so it's always good to have some of it.

Your portfolio looks good to me, there are is a huge hole there without any bitcoin but maybe you are concentrating in growing your capital instead of making a long term investment, whatever the case it may be a good idea to add some EOS or Stellar to your portfolio since those two are very good coins with a lot of potential left in the next years.

For XVG, they increased $0,269 on January 2018 but now the price is $0,0231. XVG promoted by John McAfee and i think it has been inflated.

I think NEO and ADA are good for long term investment.Now it is good to hold these because of the price decrease.Last January the NEO price reached $174.I think this year reach a new peak .So it's good to wait until the price increases.

However, I've done quite a bit of research and starting to investing in some coins last week. Here's my humble opinions:
Bitcoin (BTC): the biggest cryptocurrency, currently has a 40% share in the total cryptocurrency market. It is the oldest cryptocurrency and it still dominates in the market.
Ethereum (ETH): with a total market cap of around $70 billion last year, reached its highest price of $1423 on January 4 this year!!!
Ripple (XRP): best performing cryptocurrencies in 2017 with growth of around 36,000%. It grew from almost $0 at the beginning of 2017 and reached $2.4 in December 2017.
Those are some good numbers I'm seeing and the deciding factors for my investing strategies.

at the moment I am investing ADA cardano and neo, I am sure that this coin has good potential for the future, I only invest long term, so I try to keep these 2 coins, hopefully in the future it will increase, now there are lots of good speculations about cardano I hope that really happened so that it boosted the price of the coin.

XVG and XRP will not be profitable for you. I learned about it pretty much and I think the XVG really has no potential. Besides, XRP is almost a bank. It is not something new to develop well.
