I make a positive or negative decision after 2, 3-fold return to the analysis. I like to record my thoughts and analysis on paper. On some proposals for buying the decision has not yet been accepted (and it's been 2.5 weeks already).

To take a decision for investing in the project is a very crucial part, you have to properly analyze every aspect of the project specially whitepaper & do research about their team members background, experience through different social platforms like LinkedIn. The team is very important as they are going to enhance/build the project in future & so they should be capable to handle the project & won't going to stop working on the project after collecting the funds through ICO & make sure they won't scam. Once you are researching the project you also should check if their source code is available on GitHub or not & their blockchain explorer is running or not. It's up to every investor how much time they take to research & make a final decision to invest in the project or not, as every person is having a different set of mind.

As much as how much they want to know. Big amounts investments should always spend long time doing researches. For small amounts investments it's like gambling so doesn't need a very long time before taking decision to buy.

You spend a very long time!!! If it goes well, you may hire for a team to manage your investment   ;)

I think you well resumed all what you have to know in researches before ordering to buy. But, did all crypto investors make their own researches before every buy order?

I start studying the project in which I want to invest with the study team. I consider this to be the most important thing. Then I look through the white paper and decide for myself how much the project is being implemented. In general, it takes me 4 hours to study the project I'm interested in.

I hink there is no specific time on when to buy your coins, as long as you understand the marketing of which you think has high positivity to grow. It's more effecient if you read 2-3 fold their project and analyze whether it's potential is high or low. Once again there is no specific time to buy or how long will you wait to buy a coin.

I usually watch videos on youtube and gather more information to telegram. That's why it keeps popping in my mind if i relatively want that coin.

As much time as it takes for me to be convinced about the investment, and that entails devoting a good amount of time researching on various platforms, community feedback, etc., a specific time limit is impossible to pinpoint, varying as per the given popularity of the coin.

I don't quite understand what parameters you're analyzing. the market is still very young, and it is not amenable to technical or fundamental analysis, even the news sometimes does not affect it.

I rely if the coin already have value in market like if the coin run for so long and with big amount of btc then if coin is new here better to search who is the developer of it like if he/she already run a coin here in crypto because if he/she good as a developer then we can earn big by that coin after that i always read news related to any coins here because if you only rely in their roadmap i think we can write many good articles about a coin so more better to invest base in news about their coin

I don't really buy because I know it is not necessary to do so. There are many ways to acquire coins without you costing your assets. You can join bounties which is a major way to earn these coins. You can look up ICO bounties in ICOBench to have a brief background about the ICO and they also has a rating for each so you can know the probability of success of the ICOs. As of now, I can say that ICObench has not yet failed me.

Mostly I don't look to "spend" my time to be able to pull of decent investment and trading move. I as well am checking forums and other related places where crypto community is hanging in my free time simply because I like to know stuff that's happening around. Lets say that a minim time I spend per day is around 1h in reading/exchanging ideas with others etc. about crypto. But mostly it's around 2h let's say it that way.

I think when I started crypto I used to spend good 2 hours just to figure if the coin is good and worth investing more time in researching or not. Now, most likely it takes 2 hrs to research and make a decision after looking at all aspects (roadmap, product development, community, competitors, etc)

It is a plan for every investor to be more precise in choosing a coin, of course someone who believes and wants to succeed in crypto, they take the time to research and mean each new project following the trend is a good thing that many new coins come to be successful in the future, so it is advisable to research every new coin for now, with the advent of ICO scams it is advisable to dig deeper into the origin and prospects, lest you lose in their hands.

As much time as you need to feel comfortable that the project you're investing in is legitimate and is solving a legitimate problem / offering a solution to something. Looking into the team, reading the white paper, joining their community channels and understanding the amount / type of sentiment surrounding a project can be pretty time consuming sometimes.

Since I am still new in crypto trading, I am spending too much time studying, researching about the coins I will have to invest in. We are using money here that is why we should be careful in choosing appropriate coins to buy. But remember, regardless how much effort we are put into crypto investments, there are still unexpedted grudges. That is how cryptocurrency run and plays.

It is not exact to define the time or hours.
But here, I will spend more hours to research the coins that I will buy. Researching is one of the first steps before we analyze and then consider which one is better.
We must be careful and wise in investing our capitals in this crypto. therefore, spending many times to decide the best coin to buy is worth, very worthy.

I'm slowly summing up my experience while learning about the market while I'm working on a small investment, because I think this is the quickest way to integrate into the industry as quickly as possible, and you won't lose too much money until you think you know enough about the market. , then you can really start your investment.

Quite a long time because I also search in different place before I decided to place my investment, especially when it's an ICO, when all of the site or places had the same opinion then I will invest it directly but if there are some consideration then I will find another source of information, research is very important when you want to invest

Research doesn't really need any limitation on how much amount of time you have to spend.
As long as you are not contented with your gathered information then you have to keep on moving forward. Research never stops to any prospect coin that you potentially want to buy.
And that's how you decide if you want to hold it for long term or short term.

Honestly , i forgot about github, even if you're an amateur (like me) you can still find a lot a valuable info. You can find who is working on the code, how often they are working on it,connections to prior project(successful or not), any current problems as well as the coding team size.

Yes, a relatively holistic picture of the new coin will be in 3-4 hours. But I'm not in a hurry. To leave no doubt, I postpone the decision to invest for a while and before investing the day I look, whether there is any more additional information confirming or refuting my assumptions.

Depends on the ICO/coin which i am reviewing,if theres no much information about the project/ or the people behind the project it is probably going to take few hours so i can identift a single project if it is going to be another scam project. Our investments shouldnt be based to these ICO rating sites and reviews because these websites are mostly getting paid to these scammers, rely to your own researching instead.

I am spending an average 3-4 hours or more depending on the severenity of the informations that i have found in google,i am checking all of the possible things that might be a good or bad reason why i should/shouldnt invest. The team members, the concept of the whole project, the roadmap etc should e considered first.

An hour or two but it is depends on an ICO or coin that i am reviewing ,if theres a lot of informations available that is much easier for me to conclude if the coin or project would be a good investments, and most of the time i am doing researching to find these potential projects/coins which si why it is easier for me to review these coins.

I've been dealing my business in cryptocurrency for a year now and it only takes me an hour to dig further research about the platform I'm interested in to invest. I might say that it is still depends on how old this platform is since reading technical charts are also a big help when trading those for a profit. I have some altcoins that I am planning to hold for long term but I set a price when to sell those to minimize the risk and big regrets.

I don‘t think the time is wasted, better waste time than your money. Any crypto in the top 20 could be loosing popularity quickly. 6 months ago Dash was on 4th place I believe, it has declined very quicky and other similiar coins like Verge gained much more polulsrity.

Just read the whitepaper and research about the project team is well enough to invest on any project but as a smart person you have to wait to see how much support that ICO is getting,if the ICO started with fired up sale then it means we can invest on it because chance of reaching the soft cap is high so you can get the value for token soon when it listed on exchanges but even we make huge research we still can't find the full potential level of the project utill the end of ICO.

It's not a matter of time and no matter how long it takes , the most important is you come up with all the information you want to know of this particular coin, However if you have this mentality , I think you grabbed already the fifty percent sure to gain profit .

I look for the community behind the coin the idea of the coin, their whitepaper and the roadmap of that particular coin and also how the team is working for the project if they care about the community and the investors and also in which exchanges the coin is listed these are some factors which I consider before buying any coin and this takes a substantial amount of time.

It take between 1 week to 1 month for me to decide whether I will invest in a project.

I normally take 1 day to read the white paper and analysis whether the project is worth investing in. If I am interested, I will join the telegram or discord channel to interact with the developer and community for at least 1 week.

If you have invested your money into any of the crypto currency, then it is better to get as much information as you can regarding that coin because this is the only thing which will then help you in having a fair idea of how things work and that you will then also be able to make the right choice at the right time. focus on learning and that money will come at its own and that you need to worry then.

By learning on a project fully, and tried to fully understand the project itself.
I my self would take about 3-6 days, before i decided to purchase for any tokens.
I also takes consideration from other people who already join the project.

A couple of hours. And then all of us in the office gather for a meeting to reach a concensus on whether to participate or not in the ICO.

As a buyer i send a lot of time sifting through a bunch of different medium (forums, websites, discord, telegram, whitepapers, social media) looking at my next buy.Im curious on how much time others spend on research?

In my mind, I spend my daytime reading articles, exploring new ideas and knowledge of technology from the use case itself. Certain deadlines are impossible to determine, varying according to the popularity of a given coin. My spending time usually ranges from 5 to 8 hours depending on the atmosphere of the day.

You should take time to analyze the projects you should invest in because there are so many ICOs nowadays and it is hard to distinguish those scam and legit and even some of those scams has high rating in ICO rating sites. You should also not depend on those ICO sites that gives rating because there are times when they are paid to give high scores/ratings to the ICOs to attract more investors.

As for me, I check the social media accounts if they have many followers, I check the team if they are responsive and of course check the whitepaper if their plan is viable or not or will just end up as an idea. The team behind the projects should already be experienced in the scope of the project. It may take days or weeks to finish studying the coins that are worth investing in.

I usually spend more time in buying the altcoins which are already listed over the market and who is making good progress in terms of their project development having good daily volume etc. Those coins are sure shot jackpot for our futures and thus we shodlnt be wasting our time in researching the newly formed coins.

If the coins are already listed then there is no point in researching about them again and again as they have already made the 70% progress by that. So its better to keep an eye on the progress and see what they are upto. Thats sufficient to know which coin to buy next?  :D

For the coins I intend to purchase, I usually spend about a week or so to analyze the rationality of the new project, the composition of the team, and the allocation of ICO funds. Besides, the activity of social media platform is also a very important factor.

Generally, I spend about two hours researching a project.
Because most of the time, you need to carefully browse the white paper and the open source code of gtihub, and social channels are also an important reference standard.

If you do not want to miss out on the positive time to buy, then you will not spend a lot of time on the top coin, as they have already proved their loyalty and stability, but for the rest of the coins and some tokens you need to analyze their entire history and how they behaved themselves in favorable for the market and not very time.

Since that is the most crucial decision one has to make, maximum time should be allocated to it.
We spend all our lives doing 9-5 Jobs in order to name money and if we waste that money by blindly investing anywhere we want without researching thoroughly about the coin, then we are probably playing with our hard earned money. This should be avoided at all costs.
Do spend fair bit of time researching about the coins.

Normally I take few days to research about the projects and also read all the reviews about that project before investing and also will ask the suggestions from online crypto related friends about that project then only we can evaluate fully about the project.

Gathering lots of idea beforw investing is the strong tool for a high percentage of success. In my case I am still on the stage of doing research to which I will invest at the same time learning data analysis and strategy.

as long as there is a transaction I examine it all, if I am sure or discouraged to hold it then I will not think long, then I will sell it and move on to another altcoin that I also find its potential. seeing a highly volatile and significant fluctuation of altcoin made me much faster to examine the altcoin I had.

It depends on veriouse things. At the moment, im not very interested about investing in something new because of the market. So this means to me that i do not mae a lot of researches about new projects at the moment. The most time i spend for crypto actually is cheking the charts and participaiting in bounty campaigns and airdrops!

It takes quite a lot of time to choose the ICO project you want to invest in. Now I have stopped choosing ICO projects, and just waiting for the emergence of new coins on the Exchanges and then do the analysis of projects.

It always take me so long to conclude my research about any coin i want to buy, we are talking about money actually : I can't afford to loose my money, hence I'll rather buy a good coin that will yield well. Make your research as long as you can believe in the coin you want to buy.

There is no specific duration for me. Sometimes you go to youtube and you see someone has already done an indepth and objective research and analysis for you in which you just spend some few hours to check if the claims are real and true before making your final decision.
Some other times I just do it from the ground up which takes up to weeks before forming a final opinon and decision.

I spend quite some quality time researching some promising coins good for buy. However, what has been so helpful so far are apps such as Blockfolio, Coin portfolio and some others. They are very useful to track the progress of any coin added on them/ desirable ones according to individuals. Also the Bitcointalk has been helping immensely due to peoples good contributions.

In my opinion, it is better to study the behavior of all the crypto coins before even going for investing your money into any of the crypto coin. It will help you in knowing the nature of the crypto coins and then it will be much easier for you to decide as you will be having enough idea about the coin in which you are interested in. moreover, this will also help you in having a better earning.

Actually this is a big job to find the perfect coin and make Investment in bulk amount of money because in my whole life of trading I found that if I invested in any coin with full.time investigation then in that case I made much profit and also 50-60% of Investment in those coins I got profit which I got signals from the youtube like platforms where signals were strong .
But most of the times I found that those signals will not get into profitable every time , so it is much better to have analysis yourself about the new new coins to invest .

I agree with your opinion. Information is crucial to differentiating between a legit and scam coin in an effective and efficient manner. I tend to research the coins that I am interested in for several hours at least in order to make sure that it is a legit investment. Whitepaper is the first thing that I usually tend to check carefully before checking other factors. Don't rush people. Take your time and do your research.

Depending on the knowledge and instinct that they have. If you already have the experience and knowledge only in some time alone could conclude whether the coins will be purchased can return results or not. But if for a new and wanted to try then it will take the longer even must be thought over and over.

Before I buy cryptocurrency, the key point is to look at the price change table of this coin. According to the price change table, I can judge whether the coin has potential to be dig, and then check the product development, community, competitors and other related information, read the white paper, and finally decide to buy. The variety and quantity of cryptocurrencies entered, which is more secure
