Our ICO starts today, all information needed to take part is on our website and has been emailed to the many registered with us for notifications, but for your convenience and because of all the messages we are getting asking about how to take part, we are copying the relevant info below for you all:


To participate in our ICO, please follow the steps below:


1) Send an email to DigitalGoldICO@protonmail.com with the amount of Nuggets you wish to purchase in the subject line.

2) Wait for our ICO team to allocate you a unique account payment address and email you a payment invoice.

3) Send the BTC to the account address.

4) Wait for our ICO team to process your payment, prepare your SAFT documents and return them to you by email. We aim to do this within a few hours but please be patient and allow up to 24hrs as we anticipate a huge demand in the first couple of days of the ICO

5) Keep your SAFT documents very safe. We recommend using similar security as you would with private keys. One week before the GoldNet blockchain launches you will need this information to create your unique DigitalGold wallet and load it with your Nuggets

The most common one is about our blockchain, and the ICO patent bonuses. These are more fully addressed in the whitepaper, but yes it's our own custom designed blockchain - we are not riding anyone else's coat tails here. GoldNet is our own hard work and we are immensely proud of it.

The ICO patent bonuses - related to the above in a way. Once our patent on the Proof Of Stake algorithms is granted next month (July at the latest) we will be looking to license this out for a diverse range of uses online and off. The profits from these licenses go into running the DigitalGold foundation (25%), charity (25%) and the nugget portion of the new licenses/renewals (50%) will be redistributed to ICO wallets only, on a ratio basis derived from each wallets total ICO investment.

This is revolutionary in the crypto sphere - it's analagous in a way to share dividends, except that these are paid regularly, anonymously, in nuggets, which feeds back in a loop to create more demand for the very nuggets that companies will purchase their ongoing licence renewals in, hence price increases again. It is also dependent only on the ICO investment - wallet holders are then free to do as they wish with their ICO nuggets.  This bonus will not apply to wallets created after GoldNet launches. If our PoS is used in a significant way outside our own GoldNet blockchain the sky, as they say, is the limit with these bonuses. Very exciting, very uncharted waters.

We have had 3 messages asking about exchanges on launch - we will be on at least 3 exchanges, and one of those will be a large fiat-crypto-fiat, so plenty of flexibility and liquidity, especially for a new currency. Exchanges are extremely positive about our prospects, mainly due to the unique patent licence aspect and the related 'churn' of nuggets this will generate for them. Since it will give demand-pull based price rises, everyone (especially ICO investors) gains.

S - your email bounced our reply back....to answer your query, no there are no limits on purchases once the ICO starts so the amount you mention would not be a problem, but unfortunately we will not be offering nuggets for sale before then - we are strongly against any form of 'pre-ico'!

Hello! The project deserves attention. I studied the project white paper and I would like to know about the ICO. What are the differences from others ? Any road maps I can check on?

I'm interested in. Technically. On the basis of what famous coin is the coin made? I know several branches. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Neo, Waves.

This is a general response to the above posters' questions/comments - sorry for the delay in replying, it's been a long and busy day.




Firstly, thank you for taking the time to consider DigitalGold and to study our whitepaper.


There are a number of differentiators that place DigitalGold apart from other cryptocurrencies currently available or in development.

We are on our own blockchain, GoldNet. That alone avoids the severe (and ever more serious) congestion occurring on the over-stressed Ethereum network. It is a blockchain based on Proof Of Stake. This leads to another of our key advantages - our cryptographer has solved the critical problems that swirl around the standard methods of approaching public POS-based chains. GoldNet involves using completely different mathematic validation - so much so that we were able to successfully seek a patent on the application of the algorithms. Like most new maths, the elegance and simplicity of it makes you wonder why it hasn't been 'discovered' before. It has applications far beyond crypto, without a shadow of a doubt. As for similarities to existing blockchains, not really applicable here. Perhaps elements of NXT and Monero, although that's not really an ideal conflation to describe GoldNet. This is part of the reason that we have worked privately and under the radar for most of the past year. For our specific coin, DigitalGold Nuggets (DIG), the above gives us the ability to validate transactions at a lightning speed, and operate with security and headroom for scaleability as required.

Because we are awaiting the official granting of the patent, we simply cannot put this onto gibhub or other public sources at this time although we expect our patent to come through any time now.

The whitepaper goes into a lot more details, but we have carefully structured our potential license revenue around feeding back into demand, hence price, of nuggets, along with dividend-like payments for ICO wallet holders. DigitalGold developers will not receive any patent revenue - it all goes into the foundation, to charity and to ICO wallets, as detailed in the whitepaper. The patent has been sought to drive demand and enhance DigitalGold rather than as a cash grab.


Away from the patent side of things, DigitalGold offers private, anonymous balances and transactions in a similar way to Monero, but approached from an entirely different angle.

We believe DigitalGold has a main use as a store of value. With the low funding requirement we are seeking translating into a low price per nugget and a maximum circulation of just 64,000,000 (with nearly 95% going to ICO investors on an equal basis) it can be seen that the growth potential simply compared to previous coins is extremely positive. And that is comparing like for like - DigitalGold is in our opinion far superior.




So to sum up, what are we saying here?  An appreciating crytpocurrency or more accurately as our finance director describes it, 'a digital wealth asset', with a main use case of growth and rapid price appreciation, thanks partly to the hard cap, absence of coin mining and increasing demand hence price over time. Further and ongoing demand to be driven by licence based payments which must be partly made in nuggets by companies for the use of the proof of stake algorithms. Finally, a presence on exchanges from day one ensures liquidity for those wishing to buy or sell part or all of their ICO investment.




It was only the above question about a roadmap that made us realise we never actually created a roadmap as such. This was because we've spent the past year grinding away, solving problems etc - it's simply taken as long as it has taken and it would have been wrong to either try and put a timeframe on it, or to bulldoze our team into trying to fit into said timeframes. But from the position we are now in, going forward, and based on the June 2018 ICO, these are the general timeframes we anticipate:

May 2017 - DigitalGold development started with private funds
May 2018 - ICO recruitment, ICO preparation
June 2018 - The DigitalGold ICO
July  2018 - Post ICO recruitment and final code crunch for launch

So it's the end of a very busy first day of publicly announcing DigitalGold. We've got the website up and running, made a few adjustments to it here and there, answered a surprising amount of emails! And even managed to do a few job interviews this afternoon for data admin positions for the ICO next month. Really is full speed ahead now after a year of work leading up to this.

The whitepaper has been downloaded a huge number of times, so we are delighted that our proposals are getting read by so many interested parties.

NB:  I'll be in meetings most of today, the most important of which is tying up one of our crypto exchange arrangements.

We always knew it was vital for DIG to be tradeable from day one, both for liquidity and to repay the trust that ICO Investors will place in us. Nothing worse than finding a wallet full of brand new currency but with no easy way to trade it. Fortunately, that scenario WON'T be impacting DigitalGold.

It' s looking increasingly likely that the DigitalGold ICO will be heavily oversubscribed - that is, the 64M coin limit will be reached well before the end of the planned 3 week ICO period. We state that based on the sheer number of emails asking about purchasing nuggets, both in the ICO and enquiries regarding pre-ico purchases - in some cases, for substantial amounts.

We will not sell nuggets early for any reason or any price - we intend to run the ICO fairly and equally, it's one of our founding principles and why we dislike pre-icos, VC money, distorted pricing structures etc.

But we do appreciate the support - we still have a lot of work to do throughout May to get ready for next month's ICO but we will be ready for it, however rapidly the nuggets sell out or whatever the demand levels!

Replying on here to a lady who emailed us last night with an important question:

'I'm going to buy a large amount of nuggets as soon as your ICO starts - DigitalGold sounds brilliant. Can you guarantee my investment will be private?'



Very important - unlike nearly all ICO's now (even if they don't publicly admit it), we will ensure absolute privacy for any and all investors. Yes, you need an email address but that can be any private or anonymous account that you choose. Beyond that, and a Bitcoin address, we collect no further information. Certainly not public names, addresses, phone numbers or even IP address (which a large number do - trust us on that point as some of our measures pre-launch have been taken explicitly to avoid collecting information that could potentially be used against our investors in the future). Chain analysis will NOT work with DigitalGold - good news for all.

Along with private balances and transactions, DigitalGold is the true future of secure, private cryptocurrency.

To answer several questions about the patent bonuses - yes, they are only applicable to ICO investors. And no, the Digitalgold development team will not receive any of the patent licence funds. As detailed in the whitepaper, 25% goes into the DGF foundation, 25% goes to charities, and 50% goes into ICO wallets on a ratio determinded by the ICO investment amount.

So a completely fair way of doing it, and a new way of helping those who get in at the 'ground level' make further gains. And based on conservative projections, the licence fees could be large.

What coins or currencies do you accept for the ICO?

As DigitalGold is running on it's own blockchain (GoldNet) and also because the nuggets (DIG) are issuing on a SAFT basis, there is no need for us to use Ether for the ICO unlike most others do.


We are using Bitcoin, simply because it's still by far the most widely traded and widely available cryptocurrency. By using Bitcoin, we maximise the opportunity for new investors to crypto to obtain it and thus participate in our ICO.

Our whitepaper gives a lot more details about the BTC to DIG exchange ratios operating during the ICO - basically, there will be a sliding scale of less DIG to BTC as the ICO progresses. There will also be bonuses amounts on offer for those purchasing 10,000 or more DIG.

All wallets will automatically gain access to our future patent license nugget revenues.

No airdrop. Total circulation is 64,000,000, 95% of which is going to the public on an equal opportunity for all basis in the ICO. The funding requirement is,by ICO standards, very low which is enabling us to offer the coins at a very low price.

In other words, our market cap at launch of the blockchain is almost certainly going to be substantially higher than the ICO market cap. So there will be 'free' profit at launch anyway.

We just need to clarify to everyone - the licence patents will be distributed as nuggets straight into ICO wallets periodicially with the amount depending on incoming licence agreements and renewals.

Investors won't have to do anything - they will receive the nuggets in a way akin to an airdrop but in proportion to the final ICO investment made. This will be an ongoing redistribution of nuggets that licencees will have to purchase on exchanges, thus creating demand, and that ICO wallet holders are free to do what they wish with, either holding, selling etc.


It's just one of the unique features that DigitalGold can offer, thanks to our patent-pending advancements on the cryptographic and code side of things. It's extremely likely Nuggets would have appreciated in value sharply on launch anyway, due to the way the ICO has been structured, pricing, exchange availability etc. This is just a further push slightly down the line.


Whilst it will only be ICO wallets that receive licence royalties, all wallets will be automatically registered as validators for the proof of stake confirmations when running on GoldNet.

Had an email asking how the ICO will proceed on the 2nd June.

Once we start the ICO, nuggets will be available at the discounted rates listed in the whitepaper, in exchange for the specified amounts of Bitcoin. It's a incremental scale that changes from week 1 to week 2 to week 3 (although we expect the ICO to be fully sold out by the 2nd week at the latest)

It's good for investors that we're looking at distributing so quickly, as it means the average purchase price per nugget will be far closer to the $0.03 cent end rather than the $0.10 that week 3 would represent.

We've skewed our financial projections towards an earlier fulfilment of the ICO so it doesn't impact our timeframe going forward. And if the ICO sells out faster then we obtain our additional funds a couple of weeks earlier which saves us time and development costs so it balances out either way.

Obviously we are offering DigitalGold nuggets as rewards for translations, because that's a useful and quantifiable addition to our ICO build-up. But paying people to fake-post about us doesn't interest us.

Hi DigitalGolders - should have that exchange on board later today, they just need to confirm a few more details to me regarding our exposure vis a vis other crypto on the exchange. We will only accept Grade A listings from Day One for a currency like this.

Have amended the topic heading - we were getting a lot of email about the $0.03 per nugget cost in the ICO and how that was worked out. As we operate a variable scale over the weeks and also have bonuses available depending on purchase quantity, it perhaps was a little simplistic!

We would refer people to the white paper where the details are - basically, $0.03 works out at the approximate cheapest price that nuggets would be, if you invested in week one of the ICO and obtained the bonus quantity available. From there on, price per nugget would increase incrementally but even towards the end they would be very affordable compared with some of the outrageous cash grabs that organisations try to get from coins that have billion+ circulation quantities.

The algorithms used for the proof of stake are entirely different to previous implementations, resulting in virtually instant confirmations over the network (solving one of the key problems with blockchain technology as a whole) along with almost no network congestion and totally different security underpinning it. This is why we have a patent pending over the application of them to relevant situations - the applications are endless, not just within crypto.

This leads onto our patent license bonuses that we'll be redistributing to ICO wallets, as well as re-investing into the DGF. No other crypto can offer these dividend-like incentives.

Great news everyone - DigitalGold is now confirmed to be on 3 exchanges at launch, one of which is a fiat-crypto exchange and the other two being intra-crypto.  Today's meeting in Europe went fantastic, the company concerned were extremely keen to have us on their systems and we got an incredible reception and deal.

No, there won't. This is a non-inflationary digital wealth asset, and a large part of that is due to the low limit of coins in circulation. Once these coins are sold during the ico then that's it! You'll own part of a very exclusive asset, with the only way upwards.

This is why we've had so much demand to purchase early - it's expected to rapidly sell out come June 2nd, and then won't be available until GoldNet launches and the exchanges carry them. And Nuggets could well be a couple of dollars by then, and considering the ICO price range is approx $0.03 to $0.10 you can see the difference!

Over the weekend, one of the coding team at DigitalGold did a little project and examined the many upcoming ICO's this year.

Looking at the price per coin coupled with the amount of coins going into circulation gives an idea of the market cap these coins will be running at their launch. Generally speaking, all other things being equal, the lower the better because it gives far more upside potential. If you launch a coin with the market cap nearing ethereum at launch - you're not really likely to grow at all!

A lot of ICOs are either asking for $1 or more per coin, and even the ones that are asking less have many hundreds of millions going into circulation, and/or high mining production after launch. There is very little upside in such projects.

DigitalGold comes out right top of a very large and long list!  We have both a low limit (64M total, 95% of which are available in the ICO) and a very low purchase price range of $0.03 to $0.10. We are able to do this because we are putting our resources into the coin and have been careful with our money, and are not in this to make a cash pile before launch.

Additionally, the lack of a large amount of mined coins being dumped into the circulation every day only makes our position even stronger.


We weren't too surprised by the outcome of our coder's project - we know DigitalGold is terrific value, and it appears the communities and internet at large has realised that also, judging by demand.

We would request that marketing/advertising type promotion companies save their time and refrain from emailing us with their proposals - DigitalGold is having the opposite problem if anything, we have too much interest chasing too few nuggets. Nice problem to have though!

So we 100% don't need paid advertising or marketing. And anyway we all feel a little uneasy about it anyway, as there is a lot of shilling, fake news and worse going on with some of those schemes. Not something we want to be associated with.


I have a meeting with our cryptographer and coders later this morning as we're planning another stress test on GoldNet, our custom blockchain. So far it's held up beautifully but we're going to ramp up our testing and see how she performs.

Would advise investors to ensure they have their bitcoin ready before June 2nd for the start of the ICO, as we simply weren't expecting the level of demand and interest we've had and it's possible Nuggets could reach their cap extremely quickly.

And unlike less scrupulous projects, we will NOT be responding by raising the coin limit! Apart from being inflationary and potentially reducing the value of everyone's coins, our whole planning and future of DigitalGold is based around the carefully chosen limit and structures related to it.

So when they're gone in the ICO, they're gone! Or at least until they're available at market rates (and they'll be much higher than $0.03 then - we've been offered 5x that for a pre-sale now, which is the first indication that our ICO price is much lower than the likely market price)

To expand on the last post, when we declined to sell 200,000 nuggets early, the investor came back with an offer to buy them for $0.20 each if we would make that large sale right now. Ergo, person or company concerned believes they are worth far more than that even!

Our finance director recommended I took the sale, but no chance. Everyone will get an equal chance when the ICO starts, at the whitepaper pricing structure.

We could probably have funded all or most of this via venture capital and sold the public out the way Telegram have - again, no chance. We want the nuggets in the hands of regular investors, whether that's for quick profit when the blockchain launches or hodling for even more profit.

Yes, but a low minimum! You can buy 0.01BTC of nuggets, which will get you 2,000 in week one. Then it goes up in multiples of 0.01BTC. There is no maximum, but the ICO is open for all at the same time so as long as you're early you'll be able to purchase the allocation you're looking for. Weeks two and three - unsure if there will still be nuggets available by then. Week three is looking particularly unlikely.


'when will nuggets reach $1/$10/$100?' (various figures sent to us)

Impossible to say, but you all know how quickly prices change in the crypto arena with a popular coin or one in short supply. We have both of those aspects on our side, along with others so what we can say is that market launch price is virtually certain to be substantially higher than the bargain ICO pricing. Beyond that, up to the market to decide, but very substantial % increases are likely in our opinion.


'why should I invest with DigitalGold rather than x/y/z' (various other ICO's mentioned)

We don't push anyone to invest with us, in fact we are notable by our lack of paid advertising and marketing as we don't feel it's appropriate way of trying to gain financial investment. Nuggets will be tradeable on at least three exchanges (as DIG) 48hrs after the blockchain (GoldNet) is launched. This is aimed to be in August or September 2018, and if it's later than 31st October you would have the opportunity to have your ICO investment back as BTC if you chose.

Nuggets themselves will be available to ICO investors one week before GoldNet launches. At that point you will be able to create your own unique wallet and load it with your Nuggets.

The ICO wallet patent bonuses are based on your total investment during the ICO. After GoldNet launches you are completely free to buy or sell whatever amounts you choose - your patent bonuses will not be affected.

And yes the amount awarded is calculated depending on your ICO purchase quantity. Just spoken to one of our maths guys and the formula for each ICO wallet bonus 'B' is  B=(Pv/TN).x  where Pv is the nugget portion value of the patent license or renewal, TN is the total amount of nuggets applicable for the bonus (expected to be equal to the total circulation 64m if as expected we sell the total amount during the ICO), and X being the number of nuggets owned.

This basically ensures people who buy more in the ICO will receive more bonus nuggets during patent bonus distributions.

Yes that is correct - for the first week of the ICO, from June 2nd until June 9th, there will be a 20% additional nuggets credited to investors buying 10,000 or more.  Because purchases of nuggets will be handled and processed individually, if you want the 20% bonus it would have to be at least 10,000 in a single purchase. OF course, if you wanted to do more than one purchase of 10,000 then you would get the bonus on all of them. Same rule applies for the 10% bonus in weeks 2 or 3 (if we still have nuggets available by then)

Had a very interesting message today from a potential investor who asked a couple of questions that are worth clarifying here in the public board:

Firstly, our 64M coin limit is fixed. There will be no mining, no coins issued from a central 'depository' or anything like that. Proof of Stake rewards are from the transaction fees (and if you're running our GoldNet blockchain from your device then you're automatically designated as a validator unless you choose otherwise in the options), and the ongoing ICO wallet license fee payouts are simply redistributed nuggets that the licensees are required to partly pay in. Thus generating further demand as they will need to obtain them from exchanges or similar.

Secondly, if (although this is looking extremely unlikely) our ICO period doesn't result in all 64M coins being sold (technically, 60m for sale as 4m are reserved for the development team) then we would 'burn' any spare, resulting in a slightly lower coin total and therefore similar circulation speed and hence demand as before.

Yep, we have worked all this out! - But these were very useful queries as it wasn't perhaps made clear enough in our whitepaper. We will add something to the website asap to clarify the above.


More initial interviews tomorrow - recruitment proper will be after the ICO funding, but we need to get moving on that so that the 'code crunch team' are in place for mid-late June.

Thank you for your interest, but as posted earlier in the thread we have made the decision not to run any bounty program. I don't really agree with them from an ethical viewpoint, but more to the point DigitalGold is looking heavily oversubscribed for our ICO - the Nuggets are expected to reach their total allocation well before the end of the three week ICO.

Therefore we have no need for bounty programs. Also, our nugget pricing is already incredibly good value considering the low coin limit, high demand and lack of coin generation post launch. All of which is why we are so sure of a quick ICO sale. I had two emails yesterday wanting to buy them now, one for 1BTC worth (200,000 nuggets!!) and the other 0.75BTC. obviously we are not going to sell them early but it shows the level of interest and investment people have for us!

Apologies for the unusually long delay getting back to you, we had a long team meeting earlier and then had to help get through some of our email backlog.

To answer your question, our ICO is being done a little differently to most of them. Because we are reserving all of our investors ICO funds and securing funding against it rather than selling the BTC immediately (because of our money back guarantee, more details of which are in the white paper), we are not collecting funds into one central account.

Rather, each investor will receive a unique payment account public key to send their investment to. We keep them all linked to the email of the sender and that way you can see for yourself throughout our post-ICO/pre-launch period that your funds are still there (similar to escrow) and have not been spent. In the event that our blockchain is delayed and you choose to exercise your refund right after October, then we simply empty the relevant account straight back to you and cancel your Nugget purchase.

It's a great way of proving what we say about our guarantee, and additionally, this system provides far stronger redundancy in the event of unforeseen issues.

It means we need far more staff to run such a system, but it's worth it for a more personal, secure and reliable ICO.

Apologies if I've made that sound over complicated - from an investors point of view it will be very straightforward, you will be given a BTC address to send to, and in return you'll receive your SAFT and later, your Nuggets. It's us that will be handling the additional logistics of this system.

Unsure why this topic has been switched from the cryptocurrency board to the token board, as DigitalGold is absolutely not a token.

We have our own blockchain infrastructure and our own coin, Nuggets.  Our only connection with any other crypto is using BTC for our ICO. So that's a little puzzling, maybe it was moved by mistake. We will investigate and see what's happened.

To previous posters, we have contacted the moderators here to suggest that DigitalGold has been moved to a board that doesn't quite relate to our coin as we are not a token, so we will await to see what response we get back. We're aren't quite sure why we were moved as no aspect of a token applies to DigitalGold Nuggets.

In the big picture, about 90% of our contact points come direct from our website, other boards and also social media so it's not a massive issue but we don't wish to confuse investors who are on this board for 'token' based investments linked to for example Ethereum. So hopefully for that reason we will be moved back.

We've had nearly a hundred emails and many retweets on twitter about DigitalGold this weekend. A lot of people are making the point that Bitcoin is often referred to as 'digital gold' whereas we actually ARE DigitalGold. It's so true! And for those who regret not buying bitcoin at a few cents...well, would be awful to miss out on a second opportunity should it arise...

Lastly, a couple of us are off to the states for a 48hr visit later today. We're catching up with our work colleagues there, meeting some key people in the industry and also (at their request) meeting a very well known exchange for initial discussions on future listings for DigitalGold. They seem keen on having at least an option on us - the ever increasing use of the term 'bitcoin 2.0' both excites and scares us a little, but only in a good way. If we make waves that large then it can only be good for all.

The total circulation of Nuggets (our coins) is 64,000,000. 60,000,000 of these are going to be sold in our ICO, which runs from June 2nd to June 23rd with various bonuses and pricing depending on the week (as detailed in the whitepaper). There have been no pre-ico's or private investment, so the public will get equal opportunity to buy Nuggets during that period. 4,000,000  (just about 6% of total amount) has been reserved for the development team.

There is no conventional mining for DigitalGold - we are running on an entirely new proof of stake blockchain which rewards validators running GoldNet (our blockchain) via transaction fees. And the way this is being done is much fairer and simpler than existing systems. Every owner of DigitalGold Nuggets will be able to obtain staking rewards via GoldNet. We will also be rewarding ICO investors via patent license bonus nuggets (from nuggets bought by our licensees) when our patent-pending algorithms are licensed across the wider financial industry.

It's been another busy Monday, the amount of emails, ICO notification requests and general enquiries continues to rise especially across social media.

A few emails and messages have asked about likely launch prices for DigitalGold on the exchanges in Q3. It's of course impossible to say, but I think one thing that is safe to say is that the demand will clearly be there as it's obvious to us now that not everyone who wants nuggets will get them during the ICO before we literally run out of nuggets. Our initial market cap figure will be tiny compared to most ICOs, the growth range upside is therefore one of the highest of recent years.

We would also remind investors that if for any reason our launch slips beyond October that they can have their bitcoin back and their order cancelled if they so choose.

I haven't been this excited for an ICO for a long time. The whole way they're doing it along with the design of their Nuggets and blockchain is just soooo good. Quite honestly it makes most of the tokens riding Ethereum and the others look like nothing!

Late late night, am now in the state on a flying visit but thought I'd check in on the thread and the social media after receiving a few messages from support about how positive and crazy things are getting.

Please be patient everyone, the ICO is coming - only a couple of weeks and a bit away now, and you will all get your rewards very soon after that...or not so soon depending on how much of a hodler you might be.

not too much information can be found about this project in this thread as there is only text without infographics I find it very difficult for people in general to understand what the project is about. My advice is to provide complete information assisted with infographics so that everyone is easier to understand and more interested in reading.

We actually have over twenty people working on DigitalGold for the last year, most of them full time. To answer your points, we stated from the start that there would be no bounty program or airdrops and explained why, and our ICO is still looking as though it will sell out of our allocation of Nuggets well within our three week window.

I can only repeat what he said unfortunately - with the exception of translation threads, our ICO will remain the way to obtain Nuggets. The pricing structure and the underlying limits and market cap are already extremely generous, especially in week one. If you don't wish to join us at the ICO that's absolutely fine there are many others for you to consider of course and we nonetheless appreciate you looking over our cryptocurrency.

We felt that trying to explain DigitalGold with colourful charts and flashy graphics simply wouldn't give the details necessary. By making the main points on the front page and on our website and then linking to our comprehensive white paper, we trust potential investors to read through the detail of DigitalGold, Nuggets, our GoldNet blockchain, the parent bonuses and everything else thats different about us.

Our view is that we can't reduce that down to a few charts and pictures really. But I'll pass your comment onto the coding team and our director and maybe they will reconsider.

It took me a few reads and a couple emails to them to understand it all but it's quite straightforward once you get it.

small number of coins + good ICO + low market cap + solid plan = easy buy. It's no-brainer and quick easy money if you buy ICO and sell on exchanges when they have it. Probly even be able to sell peer to peer before that as the coins will be gone in ico and price will then go up

Have added a brief update on the website with the latest information, normally our director posts those but he's still away in the states with our financial director and lawyer. They are all back late tonight so I imagine we will all get an update at tomorrow morning's team meeting.

It's been as hectic as normal  - the software guys are pulling ten hour days mostly, our cryptographer seems to always be here, and the admin and customer support section has grown busier by the day. We broke through the hundred email a day mark at the start of the week, and that doesn't include social media and forum postings and private messages. It's terrific to see DigitalGold growing in interest and popularity like this.

Still s couple of weeks before our ICO so plenty of time to get your bitcoin. If you haven't used it before (we know that a lot of new crypto investors are interested in DigitalGold, a lot of them disgruntled Telegram investors who now find that ICO closed to them) then please ensure your security around your bitcoin wallet is up to scratch. Plenty of guides online about the best way to secure those all important keys.

I'm still undecided as to whether to buy a good amount that is, enough to get the bonus nuggets. Or whether to go to invest heavily and put serious money into this.

my gut feeling is that digitalgold and their nugget coins are going to see big gains, and the ICO terms are very good. Just the risk aversion part of me that's saying don't put loads into it as a safety measure. But then again  you do have to speculate to accumulate, more so than most with crypto.

If I have the guts on the day then ill put five figures into it :)

To the above poster, we can't give specific investment advice as it depends so much on an individual's financial position, their experience, their risk profile, mental strength etc. The main thing we would suggest is to invest the maximum amount you can to get our bonuses and higher returns, but always an amount that you are comfortable with.

Sorry for the lack of a proper update yesterday, I was so jetlagged and then a busy day catching up at the office as well.

Anyway, a LOT accomplished. Met with a number of financial organisations regarding possible licensing of our patent pending proof of stake algorithms. The interest was off the charts and they were very keen to see more than we could sensibly show them at this stage. It's looking promising indeed for some major players to be involved.

In just as important news, it looks like we will be on one of the largest us exchanges in early 2019 at the latest. And I'm talking about one of the largest. NDA's prevent me saying more, as our lawyer nervously watches over my shoulder! Investors will be very very pleased and surprised.

These two developments were both better than we could have expected and made for a super successful trip.

As my previous post, this is the coin baptist's coin of choice for 2018. Clear top of my ICO value indexer. I had success with large investments in bitcoin, ether and ripple previously. Digitalgold will be 4 out of 4 if my previous track record of success persists.

I have now moved some ether into bitcoin to combine with my existing bitcoin ready to place my stake into this in two weeks. Good morning DigitalGolders, found a few minutes to pop into all the forums and social media. It's all building up nicely for the ICO, although so busy. Long long days and not much sleep but important to get this right.

panterapontera - because the bonus amounts and price per nuggets vary from week 1 to 2 and 3, and also because of the individual SAFTs that we have to prepare for each payment, we need an investment of over 10,000 in one transaction to receive the bonus. Of course you can make multiple purchases of any amount and they would all be eligible for the patent bonuses but only those of over 10,000 will receive the actual 20% or 10% bonus Nuggets. Hope that clarifies that for you.

Mi chael - unfortunately not a lot I can say except to apologise. We've tried to make DigitalGold, and the ICO, as simple and straightforward as possible. The white paper is the most detailed explanation of the projects,  split into
various sections. We will be revising the website next week to focus more on the ICO purchase levels and rewards. Maybe you will invest with us after launch, the Nuggets will almost certainly be much more expensive but there will still be plenty of upside.


It is looking as though the Nuggets will be taken by the end of week two of the ICO at the latest, based on our current projections. This is excellent for the funding and speedy launch of the GoldNet blockchain and DigitalGold proper. It is also excellent news for the investors, as the more Nuggets that are sold in the early part of the ICO, the cheaper the average price you will (as a collective) be paying for them. Everyone with an ICO wallet will be eligible for the patent bonuses yes, with the amount dependent on the original ICO investment level. So if you only buy for example 2,000 Nuggets and someone else buys 20,000 then will receive 10x as much patent bonus.

Back to the emails...a record 274 to answer since yesterday. The registration notifications are quick to do but some of the query ones are not! We value each and every contact though and we hope we are answering your queries satisfactorily.

Firstly, apologies for the reduction in activity both here, on social media and on other forums. Two reasons - one, we've been incredibly busy as our ICO starts in just over a week and as well as that we've had a lot of legal and technical work happening so I haven't had any time at all really. And secondly, our support team have been inundated with emails about the ICO, the project in general, technical questions, legal questions. We have had hundreds of sometimes quite involved emails to answer. It's meant Support haven't had the time to do their more usual updating on here and elsewhere.

But this is all good in a way - DigitalGold interest has spiked even further, in fact we now have to consider the possibility of the ICO completing within the first week which was not something we ever seriously thought could happen! It demonstrates we were correct with the way we have created DigitalGold, and correct to seek such a modest ICO funding (which in turn translates to very good value Nuggets for all investors).

There will be some major updating of the website over the weekend and into the early part of next week - apologies if there is a little bit of downtime associated with that. We need to add a fair amount of ICO related info...more detail on the timing, purchases etc. It's going to be a very busy weekend for us all.

Our ICO starts June 2ND at 1200 EST. It will run for three weeks or until all 60,000,000 Nuggets are sold, whichever is sooner. The sale and distribution schedule is unaltered from the white paper:

 
2,000 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC (Week One)

1,500 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC (Week Two)

1,000 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC (Week Three)


An additional 20% Nuggets will be credited for purchases of greater than 10,000 Nuggets in Week One, with 10% additional Nuggets credited for purchases greater than 10,000 in Weeks Two and Three.

There is a minimum purchase of 0.01 BTC of nuggets, increasing by multiples of that for larger purchases.




To participate in our ICO once it starts, please follow the steps below:


1) Send an email to DigitalGoldICO@protonmail.com with the amount of Nuggets you wish to purchase in the subject line.

2) Wait for our ICO team to allocate you a unique account payment address and email you a payment invoice.
3) Send the BTC to the account address.
4) Wait for our ICO team to process your payment, prepare your SAFT documents and return them to you by email. We aim to do this within a few hours but please be patient and allow up to 24hrs as we anticipate a huge demand in the first couple of days of the ICO

Why are we doing it like this and not via coding?
is a common question to support the last week or so.

Main reason is because we are issuing SAFT documents to you all before the Nuggets themselves are available, at which point you will be able to create your wallet and load it with the Nuggets bought in the ICO. Secondly, we are retaining your BTC investments in segregated accounts to protect your individual balances until GoldNet launch.

Both of these mean a certain degree of manual processing is required. This is why the office has got a lot busier the last couple of weeks with the addition of our valuable ICO admin staff.

Hey all, got my Nuggets!!!! Well, the SAFT documents anyway. It details the allocation of your Nuggets, gives you a long alphanumeric code which we use to get the Nuggets and create our ICO wallets near the launch. They added on my bonus Nuggets properly too. All very efficient. You can tell it's been planned a lot.

It also has about the right to refund if no launch by October. And apart from that just a load of legal jargon about the company and rights and stuff.

So it's all gone smoothly and painlessly for me at least. I did get my application and payment in really early so that helped I think. All I can say it's all good, now I can keep those documents super secure and wait for more news and then the blockchain launch.

Update after Day One of our ICO (which was technically a part day due to the 1600 UTC start)

Demand has been up there with what we anticipated based on our email and forum traffic leading up to the ICO. There are now just 47M/64M Nuggets remaining. There were 60M for sale to begin with (4M reserved from the start for the hard working team that developed the company and the currency). So...an incredible 13,000,000 have been sold and allocated to ICO investors, which is fantastic - over 20% of the Nuggets in your ownership already.

We do still have backlog to work through. To that end, we've now split the ICO Processing team into two sections - one handles the application emails and sends out the payment invoices, and the other section handles the SAFTs preparation once payment has been made. This small change should mean that although you may have to wait slightly longer after sending in your application to purchase Nuggets to receive the payment invoice, you will then have less time to wait to receive your SAFTs after you make your purchase. And we think that's the right way round - we know that once you have sent us your valuable bitcoin you will all be anxious to receive your Nugget ownership documents as soon as possible, this will help enable that to happen.

But we would still ask for patience, we closed the offices for everyone to grab a few hours sleep overnight so inevitably there are now more applications to work through than when we left! I'll be in the office all day, Support will be here to carry on answering your questions and resolve any issues, and the ICO Processing Team are here for the next 16 hours to try and work through as much of this backlog as we can.

Such projects are only on my mind more than ten and after seeing I realized that except for one who gave a profit in a growing market, all the rest are then traded or less than the price of placement and sometimes very much less or even scampered and fled. Apparently this format is not yet ready to take such a thing and as a result of development projects do not receive.

We understand your points - the cryptocurrency sector is still very young and unfortunately because of this there are a number of failures either by accidental poor design/management or purposely in the case of the few bad actors who flee with the money. We have tried to address these by providing a detailed white paper, plans, true advances in the protocol, and offering USPs such as patent bonuses to ICO wallets, universal pos rewards on an equal basis and a good value entry point. We have also spent a year with our own funding before seeking this small amount to both enable a push to release in Q3, and to get the Nuggets into the hands of early investors.

The ICO is on track to sell out (estimate) in Week Two, we aim to launch fully in Q3 and will be on several large exchanges immediately. Hopefully you will monitor our currency and maybe buy some Nuggets off an exchange if that is the right time for you. Thanks for your comment and time.

DigitalGold will be launching in Q3 2018. At the moment it looks like mid to late August, possibly early September at the latest. Our blockchain (GoldNet) will firstly run for one week during which period our ICO investors can create their wallets, access their Nuggets and generally test the systems. Then after that one week period we have a full launch whereby we are on at least three exchanges, including one of the largest (details of all this to be revealed when the patent is granted shortly).

Main thing is to keep those SAFT documents safe once you have them. There won't be any more Nuggets distributed after the ICO, and certainly no more patent bonus eligible wallets. With the speed the ICO funding is coming in (over 50 BTC so far and no slowing down of email purchase applications) we may even be able to accelerate that schedule slightly, but that's one for the Director and senior Team members to decide.

Thanks for all your positive comments on here and to our email address, we really appreciate it. We know a lot of you have now got your SAFTs, and thanks to those of you who got in touch to say they were surprised/pleased by the detail of them. That's thanks mainly to our lawyer, who took a basic template and modified it to fit DigitalGolds purposes.  We spent a lot of time making sure this project works smoothly on all levels, and it's great to see it working in practice.

So far as the ICO, we are still working to catch up on the backlog, but we're getting there. Investors shouldn't have to wait more than 12 hours now for safts or payment invoices. Still a likely delay but better than where we were at the start of the ICO yesterday. Day Two ICO Update: Day Two ended up nearly as busy as Day One, and together with catching up more with payment processing and SAFT issuance we find out going into Day Three having issued a further 9M Nuggets over the past 24hrs, so our current total of Nuggets remaining is 38,000,000/64,000,000.

Our projections indicate that Days Three and Four will be very busy then it will stablise a little, with another surge of purchases before the price of Nuggets increases at 1600 UTC Saturday.

Waiting times should not be more than around 12 hours now for applications, and less than that for SAFT issuance after payment is made. I have joined bitcointalk mainly to express my interest in digitalgold. having had bitcoin since 2011 and still holding most of them this is the first cryptocurrency that I jumped into in a big way ie spending some of my primary bitcoin savings on.

it jumped out at me when I read about it on twitter, I then visited the website spent a lot of time reading the white paper and knew immediately I had to have a stake in it. Unlike lots of posters saying how much they've bought I will just say I've made a considerable investment into it as of right now

Also novel to receive a SAFT instead of just another ethereum token. Have never bought into any of them and never will. Everything is new here from the ground up it's the only way to do it I think. The world might need this, it definitely doesn't need another ERC20 clone riding the Ethereum network to death. Just my view.

We welcome all comments on this thread, and unlike most we don't set up this thread to censor or delete any comments we don't like, so thank you for your posts. Also unlike most ICOs we have no intention of throwing money at websites, marketing, advertising etc. We have spent our time and funds on the project. Most investors have spent their time reading the website, downloading the white paper and questioning us accordingly. It's quite a sad reflection that some people base their investments on the flashiness or otherwise of a website. No surprise that these are the ones that regularly, and sadly, end up getting scammed. We don't want investors who make their decisions on the quality of otherwise of our website design - that would be a poor way to make an investment decision and we discourage it.

The name was chosen to best describe what we are offering - a new cryptocurrency that functions mainly as a store of value. Gold is the ultimate store of value. There is no more 'misues' of the word than of any currency that includes the word 'coin' in it! We offer a digital store of value along with many refinements as detailed in our thorough white paper.

And considering that our ICO has sold over one third of the total Nuggets available (equivalent of around 100 BTC) after less than three days and is on track to increase that figure to half by the end of today, we are entirely comfortable with our planning and execution. It's very likely we will be sold out before the end of week two and the ICO will be closed. Take a look at the many sites who run 'pre-icos', then ico 'rounds' and 'extended offerings' etc to drag it out over many months.  We would suggest people be more wary of them, regardless of the money spent on a website.

But it was only a matter of time before the popularity of DigitalGold attracted criticism, constructive or otherwise. Show me a currency on here or elsewhere that hasn't and doesn't still have negative posts at various stages. We've had another busy day and still some to go, we've had a couple of email asking about how the change in price of Nuggets will take place on Saturday and how the cut-off point is determined. IF you want to buy at this weeks cheapest prices, you need to ensure you send your payment before the 1600 UTC change in pricing on Saturday June 9th. Putting an application in won't be enough, or we could end up processing applications well into week Two. At 1600 UTC we will pause all of our application processing and concentrate on clearing all payments that have been made up until that cut-off point. After they are all cleared and the SAFTs have been issued, we will start processing applications once again, but now at the higher rate of 1500 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC instead of 2000 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC, and with 10% bonus instead of 20% for purchases over 10000 Nuggets. So we would suggest not leaving it later than Friday evening to apply to give us enough time to prepare your payment invoice well before the cut-off point. Still plenty of time to go, and we'll post this advice again nearer the time, but as we've had a number of emails from people wanting to wait until nearer the end of the week to buy in, we are posting it now initially.

Good morning, the excellent news is that we are now keeping up with the applications and payments into DigitalGold - the backlog of the initial surge of applications has been cleared and we are generally processing everything within a few hours (with the exception of the overnight period where the office is unmanned).

Another 9M of Nuggets were processed yesterday, which does include element of the backlog of applications as we caught up on them. So as of this morning, not even four days into the ICO, we have sold 31M Nuggets. The amount remaining for sale is now 29,000,000 out of the total 64,000,000 (4M were reserved). We anticipate a more steady rate of purchases until the period before the price increases on Saturday 1600 UTC.

We've got through the rush of applications very smoothly, all things considered. It's quite a thought that many many investors now hold the rights to DigitalGold Nuggets. Also quite a responsibility. Good morning all. Brief update. Two thirds of the total supply of DigitalGold Nuggets have now been sold in our ICO. Reminder of price structure - prices remain at their current lowest level of 2,000 DIG for 0.01 BTC for (not including bonuses) until Saturday June 9th at 1600 UTC, when they change to 1,500 DIG for 0.01 BTC. Purchase emails are coming in at a steadier rate now - applications should all be handled within 6 hours, SAFT issuance after payment is down to around 3-4 hours maximum.

We plan to issue a more detailed breakdown of the purchases tomorrow, giving average quantity purchased, range of payments, when most were made etc. Should be interesting information for all involved in the ICO so far, and useful for those still intending to, or thinking about, buying some DIG.

Good morning. We will post a more detailed breakdown of the ICO purchasing patterns to date later today, but firstly just want to update on the general position. We had quite a steady day yesterday in terms of applications and SAFT issuance, our slowest since the start of the ICO (as expected). However, and it's a big however, we received three very large applications throughout the day which has taken our Nuggets Remaining down a lot further than it otherwise would be. Naturally we won't give out the exact amounts that were purchased, but we can say that all three were for what we term 'multi-bitcoin' amounts ie over 2 BTC.  

This has left us with the figure of 15M Nuggets remaining with, in theory, over two weeks of the ICO to run. It should be fairly obvious now that we won't be running that long - sometime next week the ICO will be closed due to a sell-out of Nuggets. Unlike some dubious ICO's, we won't be able to magically re-open it for further rounds of investment, because our whole concept of DigitalGold is based around this low, fixed supply of coins. To even think about issuing more would be totally against the ethos of DigitalGold and by increasing the supply it would de-value all existing coins that ICO investors have put their faith in by buying. Don't worry - we won't be doing it. Once these last 15M are sold, that is the end of the ICO and DigitalGold Nuggets won't be seen again until we launch in Q3!

We expect today to be our quietest day in terms of applications, but are expecting a 'last day rush' in the hours leading up to the price increase of Nuggets at 1600 UTC Saturday.

We said we'd give you a more detailed, but still broad, breakdown of the ways the ICO purchase patterns have been throughout the first week of DigitalGold Nugget availability. AVERAGE NUGGET PURCHASE QUANTITY: 140,000 Nuggets

Most buyers are buying more than the 10,000 floor that gets them the 20% bonus so the effective average nugget ownership is close to 170,000. It's a higher figure than we expected, although the main point of note is that like any arithmetic mean, the figure can be skewed either way by numbers a long way from the average. In our case, we have had a small number of very high purchases - we're talking four, five times higher than the average, and one or two more than that. If we stripped out the very highest and very lowest payments then the average would certainly be lower. But as a strict mean, the figure is what it is.

Again, processing times were a lot higher than this earlier on, and are lower than that now - the mean affected by the crazy initial 24-48 hours of the ICO. Remember, this is not after you pay - this is the time after your send in your 'application' - the email stating how many Nuggets you wish to buy, until the time we compile and send a payment invoice to you.




AVERAGE TIME FROM BTC INVOICE PAYMENT TO SAFT ISSUANCE: 2 hours

This represents the time between when you send the BTC payment to your unique payment account address and the time that we prepare, check and email you the SAFT document and access codes for the Nuggets further down the line. We changed our processing system after a couple of days to lower this time at the expesne of a slightly higher Invoice creation time - the logic being that investors are going to be more impatient waiting to receive their actual SAFT document than for a payment invoice. It's worked well, has been popular, and investors can now expect speedy expedition of their payment and the corresponding sending of the SAFT to them.



NUGGET AVAILABILITY TIMEFRAME: Total allocation expected to be sold by 12th-14th June

We've had to constantly bring the estimated ICO Close date back sooner and sooner as the demand has generally exceeded our predictions and expectations, especially on the higher volume purchase side. Originally we expected the ICO to sell out by early in the third week, then towards the end of the second week. At one stage after Day Two, we even panicked that the sale could complete in Week One, which we felt would be a little too soon for those many investors who quite fairly want to watch from the sidelines and decide over time whether to invest or not - we've had a number of emails from such potential buyers. At least now things have stabilised it looks like we will go into Week Two with some Nuggets still available, and we expect all the largest purchases will have been made by Saturday, when the price of Nuggets increases. We could be caught out and surprised by the usual '24 hour rush' before an ICO price increase though, so please don't delay too long if you still want to invest or are thinking about putting more funds into Nuggets.

Very brief update. Down to 8M Nuggets remsining. And now into  the last hours before the price of Nuggets increases. We are seeing a big increase in applications the last few hours - you're leaving it late if you want to get the week one pricing. We will do our very best to proceed applications right up until the 1600 cut off point, but after that they will have to be processed through at 1,500 DIG per 0.01 BTC rather than 2,000 DIG per 0.01 BTC. And any bonus Nuggets will be 10% rather than 20%.

Do you know what?  I posted earlier this week that I'd bought all the Nuggets I wanted with some of my old Bitcoin stash...I'm going to throw another BTC into this while it's still so cheap and it's still on. No way am I going to regret not buying more when these are taking off. No chance!  Bitgirl has sent in application for another couple hundred thou of DIG!  Hopefully in time for the cheapest price, but even if it ends up at Week Two pricing, still better than not having them at all.

We don't have the exact figures yet, but we are now focussing on processing all the payments made up to 1600 UTC, getting the SAFTs sent out and then going back to handling the applications, now at the Week Two rate of 1,500 Nuggets for 0.01 BTC, with 10% bonus Nuggets for purchase of over 10,000 Nuggets.

We are now fully up to date with processing all payments made before the Week Two pricing commenced at 1600 UTC yesterday, and are now back to handling applications as normal. We had a late rush of payments, it seems steadier today so far. We are now down to just under the last 5,000,000 Nuggets. In other words, over 90% have now sold, and the vast majority of those to people obtaining Week One pricing, which is excellent. Our demand has matched supply really well - most people got the cheapest available Nuggets, yet there are still some available at a slightly higher rate for those who missed out either through lack of funds at the time or lack of awareness of DigitalGold. These are the investors who we welcome to take this final tranche of Nuggets. Or if you just want to own more then your week one purchase, again, very welcome.

We now expect a slower rate of sales and, in the absence of massive purchases distorting our projections, expect Nuggets to be available until midweek. Good morning - nothing much to say this morning except that we had a couple of big applications yesterday along with the more regular ones, and the net result is that we now have just under 3,000,000 Nuggets remaining!  Impossible now to predict how long these will be available for - one day, perhaps two? is all we can suggest.

We will continue to process applications as we receive them, although when we get to the last million Nuggets we will ensure we don't have an excess of pending payments  that might mean an application cannot be processed due to lack of Nuggets by the time we receive the bitcoin.

Absolutely. I bought on the first day last Saturday. Was going to part sell on blockchain and exchange launch, but considering a 100% HODL for larger profit later on. Decisions!

Coin baptist says minimise your risk by part selling small part to cover some or all of your outlay katherineJ.  Takes pressure off and you can HODL and relax. Good strategy is then to set sell points on the way. ie sell X Nuggets of bag at Y price, then another X Nuggets at Y+n price etc. Means you do not have to think about when to sell and can even set this in good exchanges as limit orders. Nuggets will be on coinbase after a year or so I think so very easy to set up such systems.

Good morning - after the best news we could all have had in that our blockchain patents have been granted worldwide, we had quite a steady day in terms of applications for the ICO. A lot of applications, no massive purchases. Looking like all the investors who wanted to get in big in DigitalGold have done so, and now smaller investors are joining us as we deplete our Nugget supply. Around 500,000 sold yesterday so we now have about one and a half million out of the original sixty million that were for sale left available. We are still maintaining our original prices even in the light of the BTC decline, and the bonus Nugget rate also. Could argue this makes DigitalGold relatively even better value, but that is a value judgement for potential investors to decide. At that rate our ICO may sustain for another couple of days, but it will only take a big purchase or two to change that.

On a related note, we are now exceptionally close to our ICO target of 300 BTC (albeit they are worth less than when planned, but we can still secure the necessary funding against it, so the BTC itself is not at risk)

Accidentally saw the project, it became interesting and went to read the information. As it turned out for me very little information about the project and the development team in general, nothing is written. Or I'm not looking there. But I do not understand why not show the whole team that works on the project and from which country they come from.

I always found the team on this pretty helpful and open hence my own investment. Can't not make more in this than BTC at the moment which seeing as that's the ICO investment currency makes it a no brainer for me once I was satisfied with the devs behind it

Thank you for such a detailed explanation of my question, I now understand why the team has some kind of anonymity. When I buy the tokens, I have not decided yet, but I think that I should think about it. Although the prices for all crypto-currencies have fallen very much, I'm afraid that it does not depreciate.

They're not going to make as much from this ICO now with the bitcoin price as it is. Although maybe by the time they access the bitcoin after launch things will be different. Is launch still planned for Q3 this year please?

This is also an option, but I still have not decided what to do. I like and I want to invest in this token, but I'm unfortunately frightened by the price that can fall and I can stay without money.

They only cost a few cents in this ICO I'd be more frightened by bitcoin falls than putting some into digitalgold. Anyway their ICO is almost finished so you probably will miss out anyway. I'll sell you some of mine for a lot more when they are on the exchanges later this year  ;D

Final reminder that if the ICO is still open at 1600 UTC tomorrow, the pricing changes - from 1,500 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC down to 1,000 Nuggets per 0.01 BTC. Effectively a 50% increase.

Im surprised now that these last couple hundred thousand haven't been sold. Guess everyone following this here or from their site or wherever and buying in have got the amounts they wanted? Sooner or later people who have missed it will be lucky enough to stumble across it. Not like many left anyway.

Cant wait to see what the price goes to on launch with this being on exchanges like binance and kraken, with such a relatively small supply and large number of buyers. They've pulled a blinder.

If these don't go in the next day or two then coin baptist will just buy the lot to get with the rest of my big bag and get this ICO closed. remember, when you're all reading through this thread in a year or two's time don't say you didn't have a chance to get into DigitalGold cheaply.

Week Three ICO Pricing Now Active


We are just processing a couple of payments that were sent to us before the 1600 UTC deadline, but all new applications made from now onwards will be at the Week Three pricing. So the pricing structure for the last Nuggets available is 1,000 DIG Nuggets per 0.01 BTC with 10% bonus Nuggets for purchases of 10,000 DIG or more.

In related news, we have now easily exceeded our lower range target of 300 BTC for our funding up until launch, so it's now just a case of selling the last couple of hundred thousand Nuggets and our ICO will be closed. We will update you as soon as that happens.

In the Principle, you are right, It is worth thinking about and perhaps you can get it. This happened more than once when a token costs only a few cents, and several months later it costs several dollars. This I have seen many times, you need to think carefully about this.

Good morning - The tiny amount of 100,000 Nuggets are left to sell in our ICO now and the process is all but certain to complete sometime today as we are still getting a few applications through all the time. We're confident that all those who have followed DigitalGold and invested have got the amounts they wanted - this is why the daily purchase quantities have fallen sharply these last few days. Most bought in Week One, which makes perfect sense due to the price the Nuggets were at that time. Will update as soon as these last few have been sold - at that point, no more Nuggets will be available from us in this ICO and indeed never be produced. You all hold a unique cryptocurrency.

This coming week, now that our worldwide patents are through, I already have meetings planned to discuss licensing our algorithms accordingly. We will also be recruiting for the last stage of our development in order to launch DigitalGold on schedule in Q3 2018.

Thanks for a brilliant ICO and all your help with my queries

If I correctly understood your text, then your token will now be sold on these exchanges? For what currency can I buy them there? Can I use Fiat to buy your coin?

At the moment the only way to buy Nuggets is using bitcoin in our ICO but we only have about 50,000 Nuggets left now unfortunately.

Our Nuggets will not be on those exchanges until we launch our blockchain in a couple of months time and only if our ICO holders decide to sell. You will be able to buy our currency using fiat or bitcoin on those exchanges for whatever the market rate is at that time.

It sounds like you misunderstood our ICO. The coins on sale in our ICO (DigitalGold Nuggets) were exactly the same as will be on the exchanges. The only difference is that they are likely to be more expensive by then. However, that is now the only way you will be able to get them as the complete allocation sold in our ICO and there is no mining other than confirmation fees, which will be low anyway.

I will be replacing my BTC used for this by doing same thing as coin baptist poster. Soon as this goes up enough I will sell some to get my infested bitcoin back! Great strategy on a likely fast rising cheap coin like this.
