Title: Source for reference 5850 GPU fan assembly? Post by: mikeo on August 08, 2011, 10:20:31 PM The fan on one of my Sapphire 5850s died with a screech. The card was immediately shut down and is apparently undamaged. I want to buy a NTK FD9238H12S fan assembly for a replacement (card is out of warranty/no receipt). Anyone know where to obtain this part in the US? Several 5xxx reference series GPUs use this fan, including the 5970 I believe.

I told them I just wanted to buy the fan assembly, not RMA the out-of-warranty GPU. So far no constructive response.Title: Re: Source for reference 5850 GPU fan assembly? I am wondering if you figured out where to buy it? I just contacted the card manufacturer and going to send an email to http://www.ntkltd.com (http://www.ntkltd.com) to see if I get lucky with them.
