Title: Bounty - Report Editing
Post by: ideventurero on May 09, 2018, 02:29:14 PM
Hi,

I can't get stakes for the campaigns which I edit my report, I think I'm doing wrong, can you help me how should I edit my post? Should I quote insted of edit?

Thanks in advance.

If you aren't allowed to edit your previous report, don't edit and just qouted  it instead of edit.
If you aren't allowed to qoute as well, just give up for your previous weekly stake.

you should read the rules and  look at what ever other participants do then follow it. Mostly you just need to qoute all of your report but it is depend on the rules  given in the bounty.

Never quote posts if this is not asked by managers its annoying and some managers ban for that. Same with edit. Most often, you need to create a new message on each reporting day.

no need to quote, you just need to edit it. for the problem can not be rewarded, maybe you are wrong to report, you should first read the rules in the bounty. that's my input

hello, you should read the bounty rules, if the manager does not want new post, and tell you to edit the old post, you should edit the old post.
How to edit your old post:
1. Find your old post on the bounty thread
2. Click edit, and add your report

in any rules that exist in bounty campaign would not allow to report the work in the edit, we should understand and observe the rules first before starting our work so as not to happen and make mistakes like that.dalam I am not justified to do it

First read the campaign rules. See what the participants are sharing. Then share. You can get a stake if you share it.

Edit the reports through the function "quote" - I think this will be more correct! I used to also face this problem and solved it in this way.

The first rule when doing bounty is "You must read the rules of bounty campaign carefully".

There're some bounties that require you to post reports by their googlesheet form. Some others need you make new report everyweek. Few other campaigns force you to make only one report post and edit.

Just need to follow the rule of bounty and use the available report form of any bounty campaign to report your work every week :)

Beside why you don't get your stake just because of editing your report? Can you show me what you're thinking it's wrong?

familiarize first to read the rules that have been made by bounty manager. there you will get a walk on how to run a bounty program in accordance with the standards that they have set. for the problem you are experiencing right now, I think you made a mistake in your current bounty program report.

you should read more about the bounty rules that are in follow, because if the report problem is different. because here there are editing and edit who wants a new post.
is it possible bounty manager that you follow in order to edit, if yes means you have to find your old post in bounty, then click edit after that just add your job report.

The regulation has to be read very well to see exactly how weekly reports are desired. If you want to add a new report by editing, then you have to go to the "profile" -> "show posts" section and here you are looking for the message from the previous report, click on it and then edit.

Then lock it now. You can see people are spamming even though you already got the answer you want.

first you open your post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1884068;sa=showPosts

then you find the bounty url you want to edit, click on the page to search your old post.
If it is found then click the url, if it opens, then you click edit button. Look at the picture, I put a red arrow

I don't think you didn't get stake just because of editing report :).

Maybe you copied tweet of other participants or somethings like that or maybe you report the wrong way or wrong report form, just check it. There are no problems with report editing.

Always make new report post for a new week. Don't edit or quote unless the rules say you can.

You should READ carefully the rules.
I see too much people who do not following the rules. They too stupid
Let's read the rules carefully.
Some campaign required: DO NOT use quote

Another: MUST be use quote

Another: MUST post in single post

....

Use a little time for read the rules. If you follow the rules, and do not mistake anything, you can direct mess to Bounty Manager, or raise it on Bounty tele group ( or offical group if they dont have bounty telegroup). I ussually raise it in tele group if my stake does not count.

Good luck for you next time.

Always make new report post for a new week. Don't edit or quote unless the rules say you can.

I think you should ask permission from the bounty manager if it is okay to edit the previous post.
Or else you quote it instead of editing then message the manager what you did. Just to avoid problem with your stakes.

Yes. You need to carefully read the rules on how to submit reports in this company. You can't look at other people. Everyone can be wrong. And if everything is done but the rules, but the rates are not counted, then you need to write to the Manager.

You should read their rules and see what other participants are doing. According to their request. Then edit your report and finally reply to them.

i think you should edit your post only during the week post. do not edit the post that already counted for the past week it is better to edit post before counting for the week. It might lead for the bounty manager to doubt on the steps you made.

you first read the rules of the project. chances are you are editing your report too often, usually a project is limited to editing a report, usually once a week to update your report.

Ask the Manager in the project branch. Some of the managers do not immediately make calculations, leave this work until the end of the company. To make sure you're doing it right, look like the others.

You should read the bounty rules, whether requested quote or edit. If you want to edit the report, click your report link and then there will be writing (quote) (edit) (delete) and select edit.

When we join bounty program, we are also required to be part of the bounty telegram.  It is in telegram channel that we usually ask the admin bounty for the necessary changes in our bounty report, status rank change or other concerns that pertains to the bounty campaign.  The bounty admin can provide official instructions necessary for making changes.

You should before following a bounty program you should read the rules first. If you edit the report do not quote you just need to edit it. if not mistaken, your mistake is to report a report that has expired

Mostly campaigns participant do wrong because they didn't read the campaign rule which is very important. If you want to get paid and you want to comply campaign tasks, you should read and understand the rules of campaign you joined and follow it very carefully.

You must follow what the bounty told you to do. Bounty campaigns have different style when it comes to reporting of posts, some want to quote some advice to reply. Others want a single report you just need to edit your report every week. It really depends on them because they very strict when it comes to that. You be guided accordingly.

Please read the rules of bounty campaign. All campaign managers want you to report differently. Some wants quote, some wants edit, some wants only new post.

Title: Re: Bounty - Report Editing

You may have misunderstood the rules of the report! Please read the terms and conditions carefully! Ask in the telegram from the bounty Manager how to do the report correctly! Perhaps it should not be sent to the branch in the form, and filling in the Google report!

Title: Re: Bounty - Report Editing
Post by: alient86 on June 02, 2018, 08:54:28 PM
You need to read the rules carefully and then you will know what is required of you. If the rules say "edit report", then on your first report on right you need to click on "edit" and insert everything you need below the previous  report text and click "save". If the rules say nothing, then you just need to create a new post

No, only not those stupid quotes. Some managers even dont count such reports. Always read rules carefully. If manager asks to post once and edit your message each time you need to send report, do it. If manager asks to do new message to report your work, every week, make it every week.

Yes I don't support editing post for current report. Mostly some hunters wouldn't bothered to likes and shares they will scramble to another person post and change the spreadsheet number, bitcointalk links. Make a new report every week I think is the best.

In each bounty in different ways should be to hand in the report. Usually this every week need to create a new post. The form of the report is written in the rules of participation. If not forms the best option is to see how other people pass the report and do the same. Sometimes you need to edit your report and make reports of all the weeks in one post. Read the rules of participation there should be written. Or ask in the telegram of your project. Good luck))))

In such cases, I always write to the bounty Manager, who leads the bounty company, if I made a mistake in the report. Try to read carefully the rules of participation in the bounty, and avoid mistakes due to inattention when filling out forms in the form of reports. Bounty managers do not always make concessions, because it is your problem because of carelessness. If you are talking about editing a past period report on the forum, click "edit" and edit. It is also important to read carefully the conditions of publication of reports. Sometimes managers ask to publish in a new post, and sometimes in the first post. Good luck and profit.

First of all you should know what types of reporting you need to fill to get stakes for you campaigns. Some of the campaigns required every week to register it through form or through posting to the threads. If there is still no stakes given your final choice now is to contact the bounty manager to determine what causes you not gaining the stakes.

I also think that you are doing it in the wrong way . Reports ate not that difficult to make .
Just properly go through the rules and guidelines of the bounty and see if the new reports are to be mentioned as a new message or  just needed to quote or edit it . This will clear out all the doubts . Also the report system is too hectic . Try to find the campaigns which does not require reporting .

In order not to make errors in the report, first of all you should correctly read the terms of the bounty and see examples of reports of other participants. And do it on the same principle. If you make a mistake and the stacks are not protected, write directly to the bounty manager, he will definitely help you.

Have you guys seen a new thing in cryptoworld, called Paytomat? I think that it will bring cryptocurrency usage to everyday life. It is also great for merchants as it  is a ready-to-use and a secure solution to accept crypto, allowing to attract new clients and increase customer loyalty. Anyway, you need to test it out.

Read the rules bounty, each project rules are different, do as listed in the rules & terms of bounty, if not understand, ask to bounty manager. If you do not follow the rules requested, of course you do not get stakes. Btw, may i know what is project which you you following? Until until you are confused about bounty report, is the thread less described or how? I will read the rules of that bounty, is the report need to edit or qoute?

It depends on the concrete rules for concrete project and rules of campaign. For example, OAX, asks to edit the month report weekly by adding links.

Depending on the campaign rules, you may edit till the last day of the week or thereabouts. Also, you may be required in some campaigns to quote previous posts. Either way, the best approach is to follow the campaign rules and do as instructed.

You need to carefully read the rules of the bounty campaign. If there is no information about the reports in the rules, ask the question to the bounty manager. If he doesn't answer, ask the question in the bounty group of the project in Telegram.

Depending on the campaign that the bounty manager requires. Often, they request to edit the post

Thanks in advance.

maybe a bit of a suggestion from me, you'd better direct a private message to the campaign manager, if you're not very familiar with the recommended rules.

You can check the activity of some of our members here, which is already had their reward. Also check the the rules and  look at whatever other participants do then follow it.

It all depends on the company in which you participate, it's almost always written in the rules. Somewhere you need to edit the first report, and somewhere to create a new one. If this is not written, then you can check with the bounty manager

The best thing to do, is see what other bounty hunters are doing. Double check on the spreadsheet though, to make sure that person you are looking at has received stakes - you don't want to follow someone who is doing it wrong.

I sometimes edit posts after I sent them, but I did not have situations when my posts were not counted due to the fact that I edited them. Perhaps this is a special condition of some campaign ..

Dear you,
Depend on the rule of each campaign, you must create new  or edit or quote for weekly report. You should read the rule carefully on the campaign thread. You miss the stakes, don't worry, you report as the campaign require, you will get stakes for next week.
Good luck!

In bounty companies, very rarely are they asked to edit the same report. This is always prescribed in conditions. If it is not, then you made a mistake. contact the manager-maybe he will solve this problem.

One of the most important thing we all should understand is that there are different rules guiding all Bounty campaigns, so it is better participants read, digest and Understand those rules in other not to fall victim. Though I haven't made that kind of mistake before, but I have heard and see a situation whereby I got stakes and my friend did not get stakes just because he edited his previous work. So read the rules and you will be safe.

Read the rules carefully. Look at how other members of the bounty do with a higher rank. Ask a question to the manager. if something is unclear.

You may become victim eventhough you were partcipated in the campaigns for any ICO projects because they were looking to invest on the ICO projects which can grow more in the market. if you want to edit the report of the bounty partcipations.
It will not be work some managers may take your work serious on managing the campaigns.

It depends on the bounty ruless, some Bounty manager ask you to edit the existing thread, always edit in such cases. Always read rules, if you don't understand , clarify it with Bounty manager before posting and easier way learn what others are doing.

If you aren't allowed to qoute as well, just give up for your previous weekly stake

Changes to the "bet" can only be edited by Bounty Manager or Project Management and you cannot change it yourself! If you can't get a "bet", you can try contacting the person in charge and asking why you can't get a "bet"!

Before joining in any bounty, you need to read first the OP general rules and the bounty rules and if your did not understand you can ask the bounty manager thru their bitcointalk account or in their telegram for clarifications regarding the rules. Every bounty managers has different rules in submitting the report. Sometimes asking clarification to bounty manager will take days or not being answered, You can observe other participants that got the stakes, what they did during reporting.

Each bounty has its own report forms. You need to carefully read the terms of the bounty. I if to me it is not clear look as others do. Or you can ask in a group of telegrams.

90% of all social media  bounties does not need quoting or edit your posts, just make a new one.
Back when i was doing social bounties , i saw a lot of people quoting their million reports ,annoying and unnecessarily.

Did you read the rules of the bounty campaign you are doing at all? I think you should go back to the bounty campaign rule and follow the instructions of the bounty campaign manager because you won't get stakes if you do anything contrary to his directives. Go back your bounty thread.

First thing you should do before applying for bounty is to read and understand the rules. If you don't understand feel free to ask the bounty manager for clarification. Don't just apply and do what you want. Every bounty has different rules, don't waste your efforts just for not following rules.

every report on each bounty has its own rules, there are 5 rules that I often see and we must follow these rules if we want our stake to be recognized
1. No need report to the forum, bounty managers like Sylon will apply this to the social media campaign
2. report by making new post every week
3. report with quoete every week
4. report by editing the first post on the Campaign bounty, without the need to create a new post or quote post
5. report to the form provided by the bounty manager.

Is it possible not to quote your comment/message?
Is it possible that you can not edit your post/comment?
Never experienced that before, as it is our own post so we can edit it.
but i am not 100 percent sure, just never happened to me.

It's very simple, managers do not even write it out in the rules, because it's clear to the child that you can make posts in one day, then edit in the forum thread and get bets)))

You should read the rules first if they want you to edit the post in the next report then you should edit, if quote in next report then quote it, some campaigns want you to submit your report in the link form, follow the rules so you will not get 0 stake.

There are so many people who are always too lazy to read, trust me and some as much as they want to participate in bounties may not even understand what is written at all when it comes to rules. One way a lot of people tend to fail exams actually. Every bounty campaigns and manager will always have their rules and not sticking with it totally means forfeiting stakes and in this case, from what the OP is asking, he was asked to edit post, but certainly have no idea how to, and how on earth did he find himself here if could not figure something that easy out.

Read the conditions carefully, maybe you are doing something wrong. If everything is correct, you can write to the manager and find out what the problem is, why you are not counted. I do just that.
It is not even about reading the conditions carefully, it is just about the OP not being able to fulfill the condition as he has no understanding on how to edit a post which a lot of managers tend to request for in their rules nowadays instead of creating new posts when having to submit bounty reports. I wonder if people though do not pay attention to understand how to do certain things in a space they are. This is an easy thing, which is to keep going back to the original post, clicking edit on the upper right of the post, and then adding the new reports.

Most of the bounty managers now seeking reports in the google form not in the thread in that case if you are doing reports in the threads you won't get any stake and if you want lear explanation you need to mention on which bounties you were partiipating then someone will say about their rules to you or you PM the bounty manager regarding this.

if you are looking for campaigns that do not need to do weekly reports, you can take part in portal bounties or bounty platforms, now many sites provide campaigns without reporting, just register and do weekly tasks.

Well, some still do require you to do it on the thread, but at least for those who require you to just simply edit your previous post; I really do not see any problem with that. What is most important for you as a bounty hunter is to stick with the rules, if you at least want to get your stakes, and no matter what, you should try as much as possible to always take note of them and not go against them. If it takes having to fill Google forms, do it at the appropriate time, if it has to do with report editing or quoting previous post or entering new posts, just make sure you are well organized to know exactly what you have to do.

Yes, those platforms have really helped and there are some managers like Sylon that will not require report for the likes of twitter campaigns as well. When it comes to bounty campaigns though, organization skills are something you really want to be having, as you will really need it. Every bounty comes with its own rules and regulations which you have to adhere to and as long as it is a project you really want to be a part of at times, all you just need to do is to do what you are asked to do.

You should be more careful when you want to do a bounty campaign task report that you follow because at the moment I see some moderators cleaning up too many reports, so the manager should give a place like a form to report on the tasks they have done for campaign participants.
