Look at this way, if mostof us knew which altcoin if it exists and if it is even listed on coinmarketcap be sure that it's price would be high already. Thing is that nobody knows what will happen. Maybe in the future we will all look back and say how good where  the times of trading etc. Do your own reaserch, don't trust people here much. As msot could potentially be shilling their portofilio, because they all want to earn money out of this. You have to read and reasearch a lot and have confidnece to invest into potential crypto, that is how this game is played. Don't look for shortcuts because if you do you might get burmed down the road.

These will almost all increase over time, unlike the other 1500 which are much less likely to move with the market in a bull run.
But if you do not have that much in crypto, maybe going for high-risk projects is better if you know what are you doing and research the coin.

All crypto has the same chance to become the next leader, with the notes the coins can defeat the market capitalization of bitcoin. I think ada, icx and many other advanced blockchain based projects have good potential to make their mark, most of them have have already reached among top volume coins, some other include credits, aion and hdac, i think these three will also prove their potential this year.

that's right, bitcoin will still be a leader, even though this coin is always hit by negative issues but he is still able to survive with all the conditions that exist. besides altcoin still make bitcoin as its benchmark. if this has not changed then bitcoin will continue to be a leader.

I think for more years Bitcoin would still lead the market, I know that there would be a time in the coming years that a project would come up and challenge bItcoin and possibly surpass it in  marketcap but for now I have not see any from most of these Altcoins in the space

It is too easy to predict which is which,but it is difficult to predict it precisely because the market is too volatile and those people who will get FOMO surely are going to get rekt fast,i am not going to rely my trades with these predictions instead i will going to rely my trades both with technical and fundamental analysis because these two are the major factors on how these coins will behave.

Even though it seems as if the market is being spammed with many and unnecessary tokens, it should also be known that the competition is now high among altcoins. Developers have to up their game and present something worthy to the community consistently or else they risk losing public interest in their project.

To maximum profit from crypto ,we should know which altcoin could be boom in this years, because in every years there 2 or 3 new altcoin can give huge profit more than 10 to 20 times, in this years i look in to ZIL, ONT, ZEBI, NEXO, that could be promising more than 10 times return in just a few month.

I do not believe anyone will succeed if you replace Bitcoin as the leader you mentioned. But at CoinMarketCap the top 10 are constantly changing. There will be some projects going into the top 10. There are powerful coins such as DASH, BCH, LTC and NEO, as well as a lot of strong coins outside the door. They add a different perspective to the system. It seems unlikely that a coin will replace the Bitcoin in the market. I do not see a coin that can do 7-8X from where it is today, unfortunately.

Waves is one of the projects that will be very huge in 2018. They are ready to deploy their smart contracts and I am very happy about it. I bought it while the last dip and I will hold it until we hit 400k sat or something like that.

In occasion of altcoins - well here it is more difficult. I read somewhere the statistics of the capitalization rating in December of different years. I can't find the link now, unfortunately. So every year twenty leaders look different. I would really like Zilliqa to hit the top 5 by the end of the year. Today it looks incredible. But who knows. Maybe it will be in December.

I think bitcoin will still be lead the market.  The ethereum, ripple, eos and neo will be leading too. That are the coin that has a good performance and safest to invest so far

Some good names here, I think the most interesting race will be which block is going to take over Ethereum in terms of ICOs. I doubt it will be Matrix or WAN but rather EOS with it's insane amount of transaction and superlow fees, you can't beat that combination.

Who will be the market leader in the near future? I think that in the near future the market will be the leader of bitcoin. Of course ,after a couple of years, everything can change, but it is unlikely that it will happen so soon. I think there is a lot of competition in altcoin world, I think EOS and byteball will have good competition value in the future, and also new arrivals are WBB tokens, for the future, WBB tokens world bit bank has a good price in 2019 , from the info I get on their website, WBB will be close to the price of up to 35 US dollars, EOS and Byteball will compete with ethereum.

I think that the leaders will now be NEO and IOTA and also NEM. This coin has all the chances to grow strongly in price this quarter. So they are definitely worth investing.

I don't think that another currency will overtakes bitcoin in terms of ranking for the next 2yrs as bitcoin will always have supporters behind. Eth will grow more but not enough to dethrone bitcoin as others are just a shitcoins serving for minimal purpose.

Every coins are trying hard to compete with each other in to the road to becoming mainstream. The top coins area already in the lead but these newer ones can easily surpassed them at a blink of an eye due to the volatility. These days most Chinese lead coins are the ones making it on the top 100. Maybe because the Chinese are also leading the current market volume.

none of cryptocurrency can compete with bitcoin. even to pursue its value it would be impossible in a short period of time. but the existence of cryptocurrency makes quite a lot of advantages and benefits for people like us who are involved in the crypto industry.

Perhaps it will be Tezos or Cardano? Many people believe in these coins. Personally, I also like Decred, they have very strong developers.

As of now Bitcoin is the crypto currency leader and i don't believe that it can be overtaken by any other altcoins and if it will ever happen that will be ethereum in my opinion.

There are a lot of coins that can become leaders in the market. I have my confidence on NEO, LTC and PRG.

Yes, it's true that there are 1614 cryptocurrencies out there as of today. But if any currency is going to be the next leader in the market. There's no doubt. It's gonna be etherum. Bitcoin is the leader and etherum is the second in the whole world.

Not every coin in the market does really have the potential to grow in the future but if the developers behind the coin will focus on improving the platform then there is no doubt that their coin might grow into a huge amount.
