Yea I dont have the amount of followers to really participate on a social media airdop it would be nice if there was another form. Common PRINTEX lets get things rolling! I love PRINTEX its such a cool concept esp the idea of 3D printing!

Why would anyone use this instead of using btc or fiat in future to purchase print related materials?

Project looks interesting, just struggling to figure out it's true utility and it seems like it can easily be replaced by something else.

@cashtrader$$$ I think that they will be accepting bitcoin or other coins in their platform. Once that transaction happens it will then exchange that "payment" into a Printex coin. which should in turn increase the value of the coin since its going through an exchange every time a transaction is made.

Bottom line, it's just another speculative shitcoin that didn't pan out.

Last POW block is 210 000 ?  - the first page says POW is over, i dont understand this.
POS at the current block is supposed to be 6 but yet i am getting rewards of 10 every day or 2 days.

What a great project. I really like the way they are setting this up. I have already tested the website and I love it.
I even made some suggestions and the devs took notice of it and will look into it :)

Lanky, you'll need to reach out to the devs to find out about getting your coins swapped.  Discord is by far the most reliable means (in my experience) of communicating with them.

There's also community managers and support staff on the discord as well that can answer other questions if you have them.  At the very least though I recommend stop mining the coin right away as PoW has been over since the swap.   Mining on the old chain nets you nothing but useless coin.

Hello! What is the main goal of your project?

Discord is not that hard ... just like any other site/application, you create an account, connect on the Printex discord and go ask your question to one of the support member (ie me) or any other member willing to help you (we have a lot of very good people for that).

That being said, if you have never heard or been in a swap before, the way it works is that you need to send your coins to one of the devs (Riggs in our case), download the new wallet and then dev is gonna send you back your new coins. So for that, once again you gonna need to learn how to use discord an send a private message to Riggs.

We announced the swap on our discord / twitter on the 26th of June, I'm sorry you missed all the announcements. Nowadays, discord and twitter are the most common communication tools for the latest update on many coins.

If you have any further question, please don't hesitate to come on our discord, i will be more than happy to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that, but if you were on vacation for 2 weeks, you still had 2 weeks to do the swap, wich is more than enough since the transaction only takes a couple minutes. We started the swap on the 17th of July, and it litteraly just ended yesterday, 95% of the swap was completed in the first week or so.

 If the POW for printex is over, why is still digging in the mining dutch pool.
which wallet is used by those who do?

People can still mine on the old chain with the old wallet (wich is no longer available). We have sent messages to pool operator to remove Printex from their pool so people stop mining. Apparently some pool takes a longer time to react than other.
I don't understand how some people don't follow up like that on their mining / investment. The responsibility in this case falls on the miner, but also the pool operator for not making sure what they mine / offer on their pool, is still current and available.
Note that if you mine on the old chain, those coins are worth nothing since no exchange are able to accept them for trading.

I'm sorry for that. You should draw experience later. I know it's hard to make money, but you have to try to make more money to develop your career than to let go. I know it's hard to get it, but try for the future ahead. good luck

First project I found with concept and real project effort in it, I'm sure prospect of this project will never die in future because this concept is still very rarely found on other blockchain projects. hopefully this can be developed all over the world

A really good use case for a blockchain project, the first thing that comes to my mind is: A LOT OF POTENTIAL! The team is really devoted to seeing the project and the platform brought to life! As a recent PRTX user, I would not hesitate to say that this project is reliable in the ideas it inspires as much as in its technology. Being butt hurt cause you missed the swap for being irresponsible for your investment isn't the developers fault. The swap was one of the easiest swaps investors have been a part of. The developers gave more than enough time, and notice for the swap. You either are a miner that was mining on the old chain looking to make a buck, or a guy that was again irresponsible with his investment. The dev swapped everyone who contacted them within the time frame which was given. Your over 30 days too late, and no one is going to feel bad for you.

Plus a snapshot was done by the dev to make sure no one tried to take advantage of the swap by mining the old chain, and getting those coins swapped. Again you being irresponsible doesn't make this a scam project, cause this is very much a real one. Remember in crypto 24 hours is a long time, over 30 days is an eternity.

I began mining Printex when it was POW since day 1 and working on buying my first node now that the pow phase is over. What got me interested in mining this coin was the fact that they are creating a business and then unifying it with blockchain. They have created a platform in which you as a business owner can create your own store and sell your designs and Printex takes care of shipping and customer support. This project has great quality. I like the idea behind it - the textile industry definitely also has to go to the blockchain and PRINTEX is the forerunner.
The website looks nice and clean ( for me the pictures from you guys make it seem alot more natural and close to the people), the discord is also very nicely done.
I like the idea of a litepaper, not overpromising a fully fletched whitepaper, which I have seen too many times and that turned out not so good. A litepaper is an optimal solution to give the people something to read up on and also give the some info about the future of the project.
For the future maybe a collaboration with an artist would be a great way to gain momentum, or with other coins/ crypto projects, so PRTX gets exposure and you actually help he artist/cryptoproject (for this I would love to see something like a watermark or a small tag added to the texitles where the people can see your logo and your name and "made possible with PRINTEX your goto printing ecosystem based on blockchain technology" of course that should be shorter ;))

There are alot of good thing I have to say about this projects but now onto some constructive criticism:

I would like to see the litepaper revisited, since some sentences might not make that much sense (at least to me)/some commas are set wrong and higher quality graphics should also be considered, it makes for a more professional look. On the flip side, I totally understand that this is just a litepaper and the whitepaper will be done in a different way.
Another thing I would like to point out is the waiting time for the webstore where you can buy stuff with printex. Specifically the customize part - it takes me over 3 mins to load the website. It might be my internet connection but I would propose that the website only loads a small fraction of designs at one time, so it is faster to load and then you could add a button that says "load more designs" or something like that.


Other then that I really like this project and I would love to see it succeed.

The price is going to be taken care of by offering a centralized printing and shipping for our customer. So each business is going to get the benefits of high volume using our shop front to sell their stuff, while in the back Printex is using their high purchase power because of high volume (multiple shop front) to keep the prices low.
The printing platform is still in beta phase right now, but the official release is planned by the end of the month. We are thinking about doing a giveway of Printex shirts or goodies at some point, so stay tuned  ;D

I would not be surprised if other crypto projects create their own store, and sell merchandise related to their own project on the platform. I'd probably do that myself when it's all said, and done.

First of all, thank you for your question and interest!
I'm not sure I understand your question. Maybe you are confusing the printing service and the blockchain? The blockchain is already decentralized and the price of that market is already self-regulating.
If you are talking about the printing service, there is always going to be advantages in centralization. By that I mean, Printex and their partners will get a much bigger profit margin if they are able to order blank product in bulk, instead of having each shop order their own produtcs. The platform is going to be decentralized in a sense that Printex will sign agreement with internationnal partners that will allow shop to get local printing and shipping services in their own country. Each shop is also going to be in charge of their own product.
This is my own understanding of the Printex project. If you want more detail, I would suggest you contact Riggs or Andrew directly.

Proof-of-Stake is how the chain works now (previously it was POW). If you red elsewhere about POS terminal, could you point me out to the specific page? This could be a mistake because the team is not developping a POS terminal afaik...

PRTX is currently an undervalued coin but im sure it wont be that way for long. With a functioning platform I know PRTX will gain traction. Their fast ROI is sweet but long term investment is where the real money is. They have a great development team and with the right marketing skills this coin will moon soon. All these cryptos are just coins, PRTX is a real functioning business on the blockchain.

We have had a few request about alternative way of staking Printex. The most recent one, was a user who came on discord and asked us if it would be possible to use his Raspberry Pi as a staking wallet for Printex. So we decided to give it a shot, and it actually worked out fine!

I think we should remember that Cryptopia is a very low volume exchange. As well that many traders don't care to participate in the airdrop. So when considering the points above I really look forward to see a higher volume exchange list this token.

Nowadays, so many crypto projects coming with great ideas and trying to sell you a part of the moon for some $ and then you wait and hope for anything helping you getting back your money, but most of the time you don't.

Okay, here is an update from me since I said I have been sold PRTX mn earlier, and now again I bought PRTX from an exchange and my new MN is up and running. Currently, waiting for the first reward, hopefully, it won't take much time then I'm expecting. Printex current price is cheap, I guess it will improve once Bitcoin runs on a bull.

The concept of printing own design with Printex platform is awesome, I hope this will come true very soon. Many of us want to use our own design but don't have the opportunity to make it, now I think this project can do it easily if they strongly aimed to do it.

I found Printex coin project as a real working product and lately it's performance was awesome. I think it is good time to buy some PRTX as the price has fallen significantly, but I know it will go up again.

What's the benefit of this site's service? It just looks like MNO, but MNO on MNCN is much better and reliable regarding masternode stats. Anyway, Printex is doing really good in terms of development but still, the price is falling to the bottom. Perhaps there are some marketing lacks but still I believe it will get back stronger anytime soon, especially if it makes some shared staking partnership like Stakecube, StakingLab etc. Good luck to the holders.

If you set up a linux wallet yourself, shut it down using "printex-cli stop" and then launch it using "printexd -rebuild -daemon"

We are pleased to announce that the Printex company registration is nearing completion!

Here are some exciting news for you to enjoy in the mean-time:

Company status:

Registration is expected to complete in the next 14 days (20th November latest).
Information on the company such as legal entity name etc. will be shared at that time.
Much of last week’s delays were due to extensive discussions that we needed to have with a legal expert regarding the proper route required to register a small crypto-currency company in France.
We have opted to register Printex as a SASU (société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle).

This allows Printex to operate with as much freedom and flexibility as possible.

Founding a company to engage in the Printex eco-system is essential. We must have a legal entity for “real world” purchases (in fiat such as Euro) of t-shirts and other items that Printex users and investors in our community can then purchase with PRTX.

In some ways the company will act as a “proof of concept” for using PRTX in such a manner, which in turn will de-risk the prospect of using the coin amongst other prospective vendors.

Start of service:

Platform and shop launch at end of November (likely 28th November).


We will propose two ways for users to use PRTX :
 
1. Consumers: People can create unique designs on a range of products and buy them with Printex. ( with https://textile.printex.tech/ )

2. Vendors: For users looking to create their own online stores powered by PRTX. There are three options available for them:
 > a. Shop-lite: Create online store for a small PRTX fee and immediately start selling your own custom products.
 > b. Intermediate shop:  For a slightly larger PRTX fee, users can sell a broader range of products under a custom domain name with additional store features unlocked.
 > c. Global shop:  All the functionality of the Intermediate shop with full feature suite unlocked and ability to process payments in other cryptocurrencies.

New white-paper:
We are working on a new, comprehensive white-paper. Progress is going well, with the document currently at 60 pages.
The white-paper will expand on our goals for textile printing and other printing applications for PRTX. We expect to publish 21st November.

We are also now listed on Staking.live (https://staking.live/) wich was developped by StakeShare.io (http://www.stakeshare.io/) our latest partners. Staking.live is a POS pool which will allow the interested users to stake Printex at low fee without having to run a computer 24/7

Deleted the wallet, downloaded and installed a new one from the first page of this branch. Replaced the wallet.dat, created a new text document with knives with 20 pages of this branch, saving as ports.conf.            Running 0 active connection.What's wrong?

these are the years I used - 0 active compounds. Reinstalled the wallet again-the same.This began: after a long period of non-use of the wallet, the wallet stopped syncing, although 20 connections to the network. After reinstalling 0 connections.

In discorde couldn't write - no right for writing messages in your group

Did you make any changes to the wallet?exept  the wallet.bat?

I replaced the wallet file.dat and created a text file printers.conf with list of nodes

Try to download a fresh copy of the wallet on printex.tech website  and make no changes to the wallet and let it sync and then only change wallet.dat file in to your own

@PrintexTeam, is it planned to list PRINTEX on more exchanges soon?

The first priority is definitly to release the textile platform. Once this is done, we are going to have some minimal income, and maybe we will be able to list on another exchange. For the next exchange, we would like to list against fiat (or at least USD). Those exchange are usualy pretty expensive, so we can't say for now how long its going to take. We are going to consult with the community before paying any kind of fee for an exchange, so make sure you join our discord for the most up to date info and vote.

once again I downloaded the latest version of the wallet, deleted the old wallet in the default roaming folder, installed the wallet - not synchronized, added the node to the conf file - not synchronized

Restored the old version of the wallet 05,2018, changed true to false in the registry editor-12 active connections and synchronization began with the beginning of the blockchain 26 weeks. During the night, everything was synchronized, the coins were in place.

Good day Printex family!

As some of you might already know if you are following our Discord, we have had a meeting this morning with the lawyer that’s helping our project to become a legal entity. We are really happy that we decided to work with a lawyer, since there is a lot of regulation we would have had missed that could have jeopardized the project in the future without legal support. Here are some of the point we wanted to share with you after that meeting:

1.    In France, selling items on a shop, and being a reseller, require two totally different general rules of agreement from the users. What that means for us is that, when releasing the platform, we are going to need different agreement from the user depending if they want to just buy merchandise, or if they want to open a shop.

2.    Accepting different method of payment (ie accepting different crypto), also require another set of agreement from the user/owner of a shop.

3.    The legal paperwork won’t be ready for the planned release date of November the 28th, we will have to postpone again the official release date.

So we are now confronted with new problems. We will need more time than we expected to get the rules written for the textile platform, the shop front AND the payment in other crypto currency (global shop).

We talked about it, and because you guys have already been waiting for a long time, we decided to release the textile platform in a pre-release form on November the 28th as planned. This pre-release form will enable you to create an account and create and save your own designs, but not to order or pay for your merchandise yet. The official release of the company, along with the textile platform, with all the functionalities, SHOULD be just before Christmas

Now, because the shop part of the platform needs a different set of rule, we won’t be able to release it at the same time as the textile platform like we initially anticipated. This will most likely take another month after the official launch (so about 2 months from now), and that is only for the shop-lite and intermediate shop. If everything goes according to plan (and nothing ever does) we anticipate being able to launch the first Global shop a few week after the release of the shop platform.

Because of that, we decided to launch the shop front in a Beta phase, just like we did for the textile platform initially. This initial Beta will be for 20 users only, and will require registration. This will give u guys that plan on opening a shop, a good opportunity to test out the functionalities and give us some initial feedback about the shop front side. We are planning on doing a public beta just after the closed one. More information on this will come in the next few days.

This is all good news, as we are finally getting closer to a real, functioning, legal business. But on the other hand, it will take more time than we thought, and we are sorry for that.

Finally, like we stated in our last announcement, we are still aiming to release the first part of our new White-Paper in the next few days. This first part will cover the textile industry side of our company. We are then going to release two more parts covering the introduction of new functionalities on the platform as they become available .

we had an appointment with our lawyer to review the progress of the legal aspects of Printex. Together we prepare the general conditions of use and sale of Printex as well as all other legal procedures for the company.

As some community members have suggested, and to allow Printex to come into being as soon as possible, for the general public, we will first focus on a single country. France. Then we will gradually add countries to it. Our lawyer approves and it will also be easier for these steps.

We have contacted the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers), the contact person we had to refer us to and do not see any unfavourable reason for our activity. However, he referred us to a service of the Banque de France "ACRP" (L'Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) an institution of the Banque de France.)

To date, we have sent 2 files:
- One to ACRP. We hope to have a positive response from ACRP in early January.
This will give us the green light to start the activity and the company with the general public in France.

- One to the CNIL. To ensure that the platform complies with all applicable laws to protect future consumers.

Our lawyer's office is taking a holiday today (21 to 02 January) and the next appointment is for Tuesday 8 January.

There is a good chance that the company will be operational in January. I'll keep you informed of the next news.

So to recap :
1. we focus on France initially, with support for new countries added over time
2. necessary paperwork has been filed with the Bank of France and the french financial authority.
3. company should be operational and open for business from January

Is this an element of price manipulation?

Then the exchange is only one on CryptoBridge, will it list on several Exchange for the future of PRINTEX?

My explanation is the coin used to have high volume on Crypto Bridge, then applied successfully listing on CMC.
Months later, the volume on Crypto Bridge tailed off to low one (0, as you said); and the coin has still appeared on CMC.  ;D

Hello Printex Family

As an update for our last meeting with the lawyer, during that meeting, it was brought to the table that we should accept fiat on the platform. As we dont want to damage the coin, we needed to come up with solution(s) as to not affect the price, or make it to easy for potential buyers to bypass using Printex. So we finnaly came up with 2 solutions that, we think, are going to be a good trade off between making Printex our main currency, but also offer to buy product in fiat for users that wants it. We are going to show those 2 solutions to the lawyer in a hope to come out with 1 solution that is going to be implemented on the platform for the lowest (legal) price possible.

Please understand, and we want to make this very clear, that it is not in our goal to accept only fiat at any point of the project. We always wanted to create a platform based on crypto-currency for the flexibility it offers from the very begining, and this is still our goal. But everyone, i'm sure, will also understand, that it is much easier to have some kind of fiat income, and also help us not to sell Printex back on the market to pay for our fees. We will let you know about the details of this new option as soon as we have a good idea on how we want to implement it on the platform, as this will only takes a few hours of work.(edited)

Now, as for the whitepaper, we possibly lost our money on the traduction for this one... We tried to get back to our guy at least 2 or 3 times, and was not able to reach him. So the plan is to not wait anymore after him, and just go  with a traduction (and review) using the help of people we know and thrust.

The last point is about the access of the beta shop platform. As soon as Riggs get back on his feet, he will be fixing the SMTP problem that caused none of the login email to be sent. Hoppefully this is going to be fix during the week.

News about the platform release:
This week, we finally received a good news from our lawyer. He told us that we received the ACRP authorization to run our business, including using Printex on the platform. There is still little details that needs to be worked out, but basically we are going to be able to go forward with the information we have. Like we announced recently, we are going to launch the platform using payment in fiat, and also using Printex. This will be implemented a little differently than what we originally planned, but the basics are the same. Here is what we expect will happen next:

- On Thursday the 31st we have a final appointment with the lawyer, to give him the last of the paperwork required for him to ask for our Kbis (business matriculation number). Once he has the paperwork, it should take him about 72hrs (business days) to be able to give us our number.

- On February the 6th, we should have received our Kbis number and be working on the finals details of the platform and the last legal adjustment.

- We should be able to launch the textile platform with full functionalities (paying and shipping) on Saturday the 9th.

If anything change in the meantime, we are going to keep you guys informed.

News about the whitepaper:
We are terribly sorry that we ended up so late on the release, but this was for the better. Because of the last information we received, we needed to adjust a few things in the way Printex (the coin) is presented and will be used on the platform. Please understand that this whitepaper is of a good size, and we don’t want to keep changing it, so we are trying to make it fit the business as much as we can before we release it, so that we don’t have to change it again any time soon. The final changes shouldn’t take more than a few hours, and so we are planning on releasing the French version of it on Friday the 25th by the end of the day (UTC-05). English version to come later…

News about the Stake “attack”
If you follow crypto news, you have probably heard about a “Fake Stake” attacks on chain-based Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrencies. Since we are a PIVX fork, this is affecting our wallet. For now there hasn’t been any problem on our chain, and this is not an attack that can be put easily. We are looking for a fix, and are following PIVX (and its fork) to implement one. Some of the coins that already implemented a solution, ended up creating other problem(s). We are monitoring the situation and will apply a fix, when a proper one is found and accepted.

News about the vendor shop beta
We decided to only go with a few interested people to test the platform, those people has been contacted and will be able to give the platform a try. We might add a few more interested people as we see fit. We are still planning to release the vendor shop a month after the textile platform launch. This is still “work in progress” and ETA can change according to the feedback or adjustment we need to make.

New channel on discord: #the-printing
We created a new channel called #the-printing in which we are going to show you the equipment we use to print most of our merch. A brief description of each machine is going to be posted.

New admin on discord:
I would like to thank Riggs that appointed me as admin of the discord to help him better. I will be doing mostly the same job as before (support team), but will also be more active on the announcement and management side. This will allow Riggs and Andrew to take care of the business side, as they are mostly busy in the background and need someone to keep the community informed.

Other stuff:
We are also working on new exchange listing, marketing, modification to the platform and a couple other things we have been putting on the ice.
