CHEAP CHEAP COINS FOR ALL TO BUY!! This is a fire sale cmon. Double up your positions. Where are all the smart guys who want to buy all the WEAK handed sellers coins?  is $800 still the new $200? Or is $600 or $500 the new $200? you guys wouldnt know how to trade a baseball card.

Yep those are pretty cheap; if I was sitting with fiat in hand I'd start building my position right about now.

However don't expect people who already have solid positions to jump in and buy all at any price. Why would we when silly panicky bears could probably give us even cheaper coins? I can wait for your desperation, not in a hurry :) Continue to push lower, single digits are ahead! And we'll continue to take away your coins from you when we see fit, thanks!

I've got loads of orders in from $500-600. Picked up a bunch whilst I was sleeping as it dipped into $550 on bitstamp. This morning they are slowly ticking down and I'm happy to leave them in place.

Too many dreamers in denial now hoping for a drop to $200. I'm sure they will start piling in once it starts breaking back into $800.

The problem with bulls is that they don't have any significant amount of fiat now. It is only bears that can really buy at this stage - you just need to convince them :)

Trading is gambling (speculation). Buying on the lows and holding (hoarding) is investing.

The price has more than quadrupled over about 3 months. Give it a damn rest already, at least for a few weeks.

Unless he sold, he hasn't lost anything. You only lose when you sell for less than you paid and you only profit when you sell for more than you paid. Until then your coins are only worth what you paid for them.

Yep, but so far bitcoin has always provided an opportunity to realize gains, no matter what the entry price was. And often has not given second chance to re-enter after fixing losses, a small nuance but making a world of difference from investing point of view, something that the OP does not understand.

Indeed. That's why I mentioned not both not selling lower and not selling higher. No gains, no losses.

Cheap is relative I guess. To me, "cheap" BTC is in the $300-$400 range.

We're in the upper $500 range now gentlemen! I consider the $500 range cheap! The question is how much lower is it going.... waiting to see if it goes to $550-560 and then im definitely buying... I feel like there's always a resistance somewhere around there.

Funny isn't it? It's also funny how you never see "bulls only" threads and most of the threads that even specifically mention bulls seem to be started by bears.

This is mostly bull-only forum :) I know only like 3 intelligent bears here, and they are short-term. And no wonder really; one look at the graph says all. Only during the bearish period here, in 2011, it was somewhat balanced, many were uncertain if bitcoin price would recover or not. Now that question is pretty much answered.

ninja question for you piramida: Do you think we will see another prolonged slide? perhaps up to 1 year or more? similar to 2011 slide where we did not re-test old highs until like a year and a half?

Yeah. In autumn 2011 there were many people seriously thinking that it was the end of Bitcoin.

By last summer even the people saying it had to capitulate down to $30-$50 (no more triple digits in 2013!  ;D ) admitted to being long-term bulls.

Now the only people saying it's the end are obvious trolls.

It might. Historically though, we see that bitcoin price has never retracted below the previous rally's ATH - this is 266 on Gox now - so 300 should be the lower bound. Of course, history is not necessarily repeating itself. I'm personally buying at dips below 500. fleabag waiting for 0.01 coins to be able to afford one. We all have different goals and nobody knows for sure :)
