I'm a founder but crypto currency itself is not the source I make money. I do invest in multiple crypto currencies as much as I can but I'm not following ICOs. This may sound weird but buying and selling in short term (day trading) is not ideal for most users. Keep your funds safe and be patient. You'll earn more than day trading...

As for me how do I earn money in the blockchain economy ?There are a number of ways that individuals can earn money in the blockchain. Unfortunately, just as in real life, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Any way of earning money in the blockchain economy something in exchange, whether it’s your time or your knowledge you can do some steps like this :
1.   The step 1 Buy/sell some Bitcoin and Altcoins (they are investors).
2.   The step 2 Pay the bills by working for somebody else as an employee/contractor.
3.   The step 3 Build their own venture as a side project in their spare time (they are an entrepreneur).

Studying the best stocks and investing them in the dips can give you good returns.
Keep an eye on every ICO and after analysis invest in best ICOs

Get involved in some bounties, write whitepapers, do some translations if you speak another language.
Alternatively join a startup, even part time. Just ask a startup you like if they have anything you can do.

I think your poll is kind of faulty because its possible an individual can be all of those options you have there but only one option can be selected there. You could have made if be a ranking order where the highest one is chosen down to the lowest. For me I think I belong go the category of an investor and the part of a service provider as I find those two as the option that does not require any core technical competencies. In the future though, I see myself moving to the category of a founder when I eventually figured out what I would be founding.

I have stopped joining airdrops after receiving so many tokens that are not listed on any exchanges. It is frustrating for me to see that I have so many tokens but I don't have any to sell especially at times when I needed money. My email is receiving emails of airdrop invitations but joining never crossed my again.  I don't know but maybe airdrops are not for me so I really do envy you and at the same time feel happy for you for still having the guts to join airdrops.

which I do when following blockchain is one of them is to find additional income by following an ICO project. Such as Signature Campaign and Social Media Campaign. The results are pretty good for me when compared to ICO investments that are not necessarily profitable

I am a founder (non-ICO). I have revenue via a daily crypto news site in Hungary(http://www.bitcoinbazis.hu/). The site has around 60K readers a month. A lot of job and to be honest if me and my team would rely only on the BTCs and ETHs we earn with the site, we would live under the bridge already.

So have to sell out my skills, try to develop other business as well, but this puts an extra heavy workload on everyone. I do not know the time when I went to sleep before 2:30am and this 24/7 for 365 days.

Yes we do, and we have few coming every month but still far away what I would consider decent (decent I mean 3-4 prs a week on average). Plus, ain't sure if our prices are competitive or not.

Our revenue comes from:

- AdSense
- reflinks (which we really want to phase out sooner or later, cos it feels a bit like cryptojacking)
- PRs, sponsored interviews, ICO reviews
- later crypto course in HU
- later premium content (journals, research, trading manuals etc., we use SatoshiPay for this purpose)

Trading is a very good source of revenue, but you have to have a strategy first on which you'd have to execute.  Just buying and selling randomly will not get you far specially in a bear market.  You might want to read up on air drops and bounties.  If you have certain things which you are an expert in, such as marketing or coding getting involved with ico(s) might be very lucrative.

I've been thinking about getting into bounty tasks, are they profitable for the time put in?

I think there are many ways to make money from blockchain
- gamble ( high risk )
- Bountry and airdrop ( safe and do not need money )
- Mercian: Can buy and sell the item is crypto coin ( low profit )
- hollder: It takes a lot of time and money
- trader: The current market is unstable
- Mining: need technical

Primarily do invest in already listed coins and btc and other few altcoins as when the btc starts the new high in coming months altcoins will also rise a lot. Thus you will make lot of money in this rise. NEW ICO can be bought with dedicated amount kept aside and after researching the coin you think could made the difference in your life in future.

Where are you located, if I may ask? Accepting crypto does have its merits, but it doesn't really unlock the global market because you can use other cross-border payment methods too, I think. Unless you're in a country in which they are not available.

Many factors to make money are related to Blockchain.
as an example:
I joined some Bounty or Airdrop Projects. And I made my wallet address using Blockchain. And I do not recommend to continue to trust the project to be run. You should check some projects run by the project manager.

I don't think all bounty hunter get the expected profit. In order to keep up a bounty program requires a minimum of two months to get a reward from a project. Unless he did have a lot of time to do the work ordered by the program bounty manager.

I also have some suggestions on how to make simple money from Blockchain such as:

I mostly take part in ico projects-I'm interested in new directions. When good ideas are realized, I take a little bit too, and I feel good. Still I can cooperate in the company's bounty - it also brings income, but here you have to be careful - you can waste time. I know how to check companies and many of them bring me a good profit. :D

Recently I've started to earn pretty decently from Steemit, though I don't really blog for the money.
It just started out as a little project of mine to improve my writing skills and to meet new people.

The Steem price is pretty low at the moment, so I'm really glad that I'm still getting something out of it.
A lot of people seem to be posting a bit less now because of that.

It is difficult to guess which bounty will bring a good income. I know from my experience that 90% of bounty campaigns do not bring profit. But 10% will be able to block all the time spent working with the bounty. Now, unfortunately, work is becoming increasingly difficult due to the large number of bots and multi-accounts. I am also web developer and blockchain developer. I work in this industry and make money from it. I am not a good trader thru. Always buy high sell low so i stopped it ages ago. And it is a great choice.

Besides earning, there's much chance to lose money as well.
Usually, some people buy/sell crypto to pocket the difference either on exchanges/ bitcoin ATM.

Add value. Any ICO or Blockchain offering must add value to end users. Linking a coin or business model is not enough.

I think you should start with reading about the tech itself then take the risk in investing in a really good and legit project.
