EDIT: This is kinda silly, I tried to post in another thread but it didn't "go through". Posted again, said I had already posted that. Waited the 360 seconds and tried again. Now it gives me a database error. All I can do is edit this post. This is my only outlet to this forum until I get more posting privileges. You can only post in the Newbie and Local sub-forums till you have made one post and waited 4 hours. This post must be substantial: at least several sentences. The other two restrictions are you need 1 post to be able to send a PM and 10 posts to put a link in your sig. Just wait for 10 minutes (while watching the clock and doing something else) and try again after relogin or even clean/restart browser.

Yes, spam is dumb, but gees, real posts aren't. Replication: I found out if I click Reply, it registers as a post regardless of whether I post or not. So if I say, hit the back button from the "reply page" to click "quote," I'll get the 360 second warning upon trying to post. When I wait it out, I then get the "you already posted that" warning. It's a vicious cycle. For me it is now down to about 48 seconds. Also if you have a shared connection and some else posts from same IP then that can be a problem.

Don't click "back", but instead go back to the thread and click reply once again. Yeah, it's annoying when you're at 360, but you don't notice it when it gets to a minute really as it normally takes you a minute to find or type another post. Not sure what I'm at now.
