I was a member at the time of posting this. Still getting the same errors.

Yes, spam is dumb, but gees, real posts aren't.

Replication:
I found out if I click Reply, it registers as a post regardless of whether I post or not.

So if I say, hit the back button from the "reply page" to click "quote," I'll get the 360 second warning upon trying to post. When I wait it out, I then get the "you already posted that" warning.

It's a vicious cycle.

It gets better as you become more active and have more posts. For me it is now down to about 48 seconds. Also if you have a shared connection and some else posts from same IP then that can be a problem.

Yeah the timer is WAAAAYYY too long, 1 post per 6 mins is crazy. The worst part is that it deleted the message you wrote when you click back so you have to retype it -_-.

I get this every time I log in.  I know it has been at least 8 hours since I posted last, but I get this error.  I also know no-one else is using my ip, so it is a bug.  It is annoying.

It's not a bug. Logging in counts so you have to wait 6 minutes before you post.

It is annoying but these time-limits go down the more activity you get, so it quickly becomes unnoticeable.

Log-ins count. You have to wait the full 6 minutes before posting.
