are 3 months I cannot log anymore in HITBTC

I asked them to remove the google auth that I lost with my mobile and I didn't have a back up.

So I gave them ALL THE INFORMATIONS, my passport, they asked me a selfie with ID and I did,
everything!

after 7 weeks of emails, they asked me something impossible:

of course I don't have such email!!! why I should keep such email, and if I lose that email also? I should lose 1.000.000 USD
in my account?

I please some of you to help me to report to Chile or Hong Kong authorities the abuse of my case.
I did all the possible to get access to my account.
I asked a phone conversation and nobody call me. They don't have numbers.

I'm really worried. I do not have assets inside my account but I have my personal data and email I want to use
for my account, I do not want open a new account in an exchange were if you have a problem they keep the account
and the assets you could have inside for them.

Very scared about HITBTC now.

Please help in somehow!

Let me see if I understand, you had $1,000,000 in your hibtc account? it is? if so, do not you think it's worth just hiring a lawyer and reporting your case to the police so that the police can start investigations to find out where the hitbtc owner is located and they return your bitcoins? you can ask your relatives for help to pay the lawyer, just do not give up fighting for your bitcoins, but fight in the courts and not be limited to post here in the forum because here in the forum you will not get help that you need


They are a shady exchange.

This exchange site has many issues before that already posted here in the forum and you are not the only one who experienced about logging in Hitbtc.

For now, what I see here, they give you a chance to get your account via your email if you don't have the email it would be hard to recover back your account.

Like the above said if you know the location of this exchange site you can now report it to your lawyer with your evidence that you own that account.

Don't waste your time to recover your account back without evidence, you must prove that you own the account.

Why are you so worried if you have nothing in your account. I thought you have some coins but reading everything in the OP you have nothing your wallets are empty. Is it for your personal information? Then, even if you still had access to your account the site still has your personal information. And if you really care you shouldn't use such exchange in the first place. Sorry but move on

Was suppose to say the same thing on where i didnt even expect that he dont have any funds into his account but the level on worrying is too much to consider. Every exchangers do have its issues that they faced and knowing HITbtc they do have issues as well and same as suggested above better to move on and find another exchange since you dont lose nothing you can still end up on choosing much better exchangers into the market but dont expect that you wont really experience some troubles.

I usually use Binance, Bitfinex and Gdax, that for me are the best because OKEX HUOBI and similars I don´t like.

Yes I have nothing in the account, but in other exchanges I have a lot of money.

I wanted to buy bitcoin private so I was thinking that one of the top 10 exchange like hitbtc was more professional.

Doesn't matter I have anything in the account, now I'm worried of what could happen if I was moving 100.000 or more there.

What to do now? why I should go to the police, I just want they let me login in my account only this can be the guarantee, otherwise everybody should be scared of, that an exchange do not recognise your passport, mobile and email, if you lose your google auth.

I lost the google auth for hubby and they called me and let me login in less of 1 day.

Hitbtc his not answering anymore to my tickets!!!! after 7 days of chats where I showed them ALL THE INFORMATION wanted,
but now to don't let me login they just asked me the FIRST EMAIL received from hitbtc which day was!!!!!
this is something really serious!

Please some of the staff of HITBTC should help me and do not scary other users, for sure I will find other people got serious problems from HITBTC if they act like this!

Imagine to have investments blocked in crypto that move of 50% in a week, down.

I know what you feel which it really like that you are being robbed in the sense that you had given those documentations but still they dont make any words or update on that one.Talking about suing them out, then its not possible or pointless.This doesnt involve money because same as you said it doesnt have any funds and the main concern here is that you would just like to have that access.Further on, verification might took long process which it does really require patience on your side.

Just comply on what they do asked and you might succeed this time. Good luck buddy

Ok, I'm finally done with HitBTC for now and I will move out my funds from that exchanges. Its like everyday we see threads like this, scam accusations, deposit and withdrawal problems. I have admit that I haven't encounter any issues yet but it doesn't mean I wouldn't in the future. So its better for me to get out while I can and not to suffer the same fate with other members here. To the OP, I do hope that you will be verified soon because its looks like you have submitted everything. So the ball in is their hands now and hope for the best.

they do millions of commissions... and can hire many peoples, imagine if they get hacked, we will not get help and support for months... really scaring, at least bitfinex, gads and Binance I use they answer in less of 24 hours.

I still waiting, even if they remove, I lost more than 2 weeks of my life.

You said that you do not have funds in your hitbtc account, is this? if you do not have funds in your hitbtc account, then why the hell are you humiliating yourself by chasing after them for weeks? you must forget that this exchange exists and move on, unless you really think that this exchange will even provide some quality service, think about it: they are anonymous but are asking you for documents?

You have no assets to lose, but you still want them to remove your 2FA. I understand that you want to have an access and it's also HitBTC's responsibility to help their customers. However, if they fixed this problem, do you still plan to deposit in their site? I don't think it's a good idea, if ever. It would be safer to stay away from the site now considering all the complaints from users.

Try it if you want, at least you have been warned. Tbh, I never had a single problem in HitBTC, but that was before. Now is different, there have been some changes in the site.

after what I read, I understand that HITBTC is a bad exchange if not a fraud.

So I will not put a money on it... I will update you how many days will take to them to remove my 2FA.

Please so, can you make a list of the worst exchange that lets say are likely to be scammers like many peoples says of HITBTC?

I never got a problem on Binance, Gdax, Bitfinex, I hope those are safe like I think it is Huobi or OKEX in the top 5 as volume,

would be interesting to know in the top 10-15 by volume, which are the exchanges to avoid with behaviour like HITBTC

I will not buy so bitcoin private.... I risk to lose my money in hitbtc.

You made a good decision, we have to move away from scam  exchange  that does not provide good services.


The worst exchange of all is yobit, then we have hitbtc and then we have cryptopia and so many other new exchanges

clearly is abusing of user rights, ok to not be licensed or what, but this is too much.

I can't believe as I have read that the site is run from fbi.

Next time it's your responsibility to keep your 2FA, and also your email address should be secure there's no problem if you keep safe your private key.
There's a lot of complaint in hitBTC exchange site, but luckily I don't have any problem with this site I think if their client has an error or something mistake they did not resolve the issue and that's we think they are shady exchange due to the low response from their support team.

Well, the best thing to do is keeping update to them and their support team, you must have a patience to this.

With exchanges at time some issues arise and they get sought within short time. Here what you've mentioned seems to be little weird and myself an user of hitbtc haven't encountered any of the issues till date. It gives access to all sort of trading. Only issue I face is the difficulty to use through mobiles which is perfect with pc.

No a phone call, no an apologise, no an email more "human" to give confidence to a client, nothing of nothing.

So they replied back. You should be celebrating that they did. 22 days isn't that long, considering how much time other exchanges take. Welcome to the crypto world  :).
However disgusted you feel, they certainly do not care, because they know people will use their exchange because they have to.

That's the sad reality, and that while people always have the option to ditch that exchange completely if they for once stop chasing quick profits and stick to proper exchanges. There is nothing that justifies anyone to use that exchange just because they offer shitcoins other exchanges don't. Funny thing is that hitbtc plans to attract large scale traders by offering them certain beneficial perks, but no one in his right mind will ever accept their offer. I would never trust that exchange with even $1 worth of funds, let alone a trader with hundreds of thousands in capital. It's like playing Russian roulette with your money and coins where you can lose the game at any moment, and when you lose you have only yourself to blame for.

but BTCP bitcoin private is not a shit coin... is really interesting buying on the dips

They should give you a few more options rather than the past emails you have. Verifying using your personal documents should suffice to get your account back. If ever you recover your account, transfer your funds immediately to a more a reliable exchange. Hitbtc gave you a very bad customer service.
