I kept NEO for more than 6 months, today I sell them too much I think they will soon collapse in price. I am sure that by investing in another altcoin I will get more money and experience.

NEO is a good investment for long term. There's a growing number of ICOs that uses NEOs platform. If you are one of those who bought NEO when its was still known as ANT then you gained a lot of profits already but if you just bought it just like what you posted which is 6 months ago, NEOs price at that point in time is starting to recover from a huge drop after the China ban on Cryptos. Hold on to it if I we're you but if you are positive with your new investment that you can earn more, then the decision is always yours.

I think it's good to hold NEO especially for long term because it has approval from the Chinese Government itself. I'm holding NEO too for long term.

It may upset for a while but I believe that it has a good future.

The only reason that would make me sell the NEO that I am holding now is if the price of NEW hits a new all time high so I would be making the most profits from investing in the coin. I know that the coin will do good, it will only take time which is why I am ready to hold for a long time.

NEO is the one of the promising coin in crypto market and some ICOs depended by NEO hence coming days price will grow up so keep long term hold on NEO then will get good profits   

I see no reason to sell the NEO coin, I'm sure that the coins will still grow very much in value, although today there are a lot of moments when coins are really just falling in price, but I think that now a lot of people understand that NEO will grow.

I hope that Chinas government will reconsider its attitude to ICO, and if it happen, then NEO I think will start to rise in price.

NEO seems like a problem to me in a way that I do not know why. I do not want to invest money in NEO because of the price level that NEO is getting, and because of its strong competitors. It is more plausible for me to invest in ADA, Cardano instead of investing in NEO. Thanks to NEO's free transfers and GAS distribution, they are still a favorite coin, but they have not been able to go a long way in terms of sub-projects. Platforms such as Waves, XLM and NEM seemed to be even better than ever. There are 1 NEOs I have already taken for the future in the future, but investing in more is not very logical for me. Of course, there is respect for investors.

NEO really really fell a bit at a price, but I do not think that you do not need to panic, it will come time and NEO will start to grow with new strength. The whole market is not in the best situation now, so you just have to wait a bit and you'll get a profit.

I invested quite a lot in NEO a year ago. Of course the part I spent on participating in ICO projects that were based on the NEO platform. TheKey is for example.

I suggest you to keep holding your NEO and don’t be weak as so see that it’s price is dropping down because it is normal in crypto currencies. There are lot of ICO’s that are in Neo platform so there is a potential in this coin that will give you some assurance with your investment. It’s a good coin to invest just hold it.

A very unfortunate decision, if I have NEO, I will not sell it, I will keep it until the price peaks. Until now NEO is still falling, but I'm sure NEO will be able to pass it and return to have a high price. I think NEO is perfect for long term investment.

I believe that dumping Neo now is a very bad decision unless you have more profit than at initial bought price

maybe what you have done is the best way for you, but for me personally I prefer to continue to hold the NEO because NEO has good potential in the long term.

last year , neo grew rapidly . its market value is now ranked eleventh . it is difficult to grow tenfold in the short term . now i think ontology is a good choice . it will grow substantially like last year's neo

I'm personnally holding my NEOs even if I don't have that many. This is a long term investment for my part, I don't intend to sell for at least another year, maybe two.

I remember time when neo did fast fall from 40 to 20 in an exchange. But it time is gone, ICO's starts to use in crowdfunding and everything will be okey.

Thats really bad move you have just made. I think NEO is one of the top held coin by almost every investors here on the community. People wait for a year or more but 6 months is really nothing and that too over the project which is already having utility purposes of using the NEO itself. After the platforms like ETH, EOS there is only NEO which can sustain better ICO projects and thats why it is great investment.

No one knows for sure where the price will go, up or down . I will not sell Neo, I will try to wait some more time, maybe the price will increase

I do not think this is a very good reason for you to sell NEO because it is a very good investment and one of the best altcoin in crypto. Even if it fall in price, I believe it is just for a temporary period and it will rise again and you will make profit especially if you hold the coin on long term because it is a potential coin to hold on long term but , the decision is yours as you own you investment but I still think you should have continue holding till the price is high enough to make reasonable profit.

I am not sure how long you have been holding, which I want to believe may actually be one of the reasons why you are selling, but what you have said is a baseless assumption. NEO is a very good project and so far the whole market has been going down with NEO not being an exemption, but I am sure holding NEO for long term will not end up with disappointment. However, it is your choice to make but the only problem I have with your comment was the reason you give to why you are giving up your NEO.

No, it's not that it's cheap or expensive now. You should understand that such platforms as NEO or EOS in the near future will be big dominants of the crypto-currency market, if you can think globally, then the answer will come itself.

I think you just get little profit from holding NEO, maybe if you sell at Jan or Feb, you will get big profit from it. Also I think that you sell too early. If I became you, I will hold until the market rise again. Don't worry about collapse, This fall is happen because of Bitcoin fall due to some reason. It is good to diversify your portfolio and not just kept 1 token or coin. But you cannot sell your neo coin just to purchase other coins. It is best to keep neo as your priority coin next to bitcoin and ethereum because this neo coin will have the possibility to retain its price to 100+ usd due to the upcoming development updates of neo.

I also think so. The NEO network is very slow, centralized and contrary to the principles of crypto-anarchism. Just look. what happens to them when someone tries to make an ICO on NEO.

neo andeos are two the most promising cryptocurrencies now, but i am not sure, it is so hard to tell jow, but personally i am going to invest in it

Why don't wait for another 6 month? Do you know NEO is a long term project, it's a potential project and got a lot of supporter, you quit now just because of NEO price drop and won't rise? I want to told you that not only NEO, whole market current price dip and most of us lose a lot of paper value, but we don't give up, just wait for another big day coming

Now that the price has fallen along with the entire market there is no reason to sell. Better wait for growth.

This year, almost all of Altcoin fall in relation to Bitcoin. Neo did not show any independence in the crypto currency market and I decided to sell it.

It takes patience if you want to get a lot of benefits, because all other altcoins are also not sure to be as good as you think, especially in a market position like this, nothing is instant in this world, so be patient, up to you with your own ability here we only recommend the best so that no loss can make you more depressed, if you change your mind this is the right position to buy some altcoin because the price is very cheap, wait because most of the possibility of the price back down.

I would keep the NEO for sure, the selling now are just panic sell or weak hands.  There are so many developments for NEO this year. There is currently the biggest ICO blockchain after Ethereum.  They are also busy on the roadshow, I will bet it bounce back in no time when BTC and crypto in general heading back to bull run mode.

i cant see any logical reason to sell neo at the moment. first of all we are around at the end of a bearish run and everything is verycheap. second neo based icos are coming very strong and it will affect to neo market price.

NEO is a pretty altcoin has great potential. China is drawing up with a great system thus making NEO could be one of the great altcoins in some time in the future. sell NEO indeed became one of the few that promises this time. What a bad day for both of us, Even I just sold all my NEO a day back and look what has happened today! It skyrocketed and I feel completely rekd. This is a great lesson for me to stay strong during tough times and never panic sell :(

That's why you should never invest in 1 coin. It makes holding easier because when some coins go down, others go up. For example, I have Monero, ETH, NEO en LTC. Monero and LTC went down but NEO and ETH went up. So I am never getting hit too hard emotionally when some coins go down. But if you only have 1 coin and that goes down, then you have to be emotionally really strong.

I would never sell NEO at these prices in fact I'm buying more.  Love getting gas streaming to my wallet at rapid rates of speed.  Very addicting watching it roll in simply by holding.  I think this will definitely hit its ATH again.

It's a very bad idea to sell NEO. This is a very good coin for long-term investments. NEO - Chinese, the so-called "ETHER" and is in demand with large investors in Asia. So I think this is a big plus and not a bad motivation for invests in this coin.

Yes, Neo is definitely a good long term hold but it is not a short term gain looking coin, which tells me it has a conflict for both trader types.

A trader that likes daily trading will deal with neo if it has good indicators to go up that day and check daily and not take a look at it for long term, if neo has good indicators he will buy if not he won't buy it and look for something else. Whereas if a long term investor wants to get NEO maybe he will take a look at the market and see something with better future ?

Neo has a great future ahead of it and just before the bear market started it was titled as "next ETH" but after that right away we got into a bear market and everything went down. I highly believe NEO will be one of the highest gains during a new bull market but a long term investor could see some other coin as better option and get that too.

Such a price for neo as it is now the last time was August 6, 20176. This is an unprecedented event because we have fallen to the level in the past more than a year. The reason for all the General decline in the market and the decline of the ICO today, even Ethereum is trading at $ 200 - which is very low although it takes much more ICO than neo. I am disappointed because neo is a very strong project, but the time will come and we will see the price of $ 170 again, it's time to buy.

Why do I need to sell neo if I can see neo have a good chance to increase in the next year? But perhaps, if the price can increase for more than 30%, I will consider to sell some of the neo and waiting for the price to get down because I am sure that if this is happening, the price will correct. But if the price does not increase, then I will hold until I see the price can reach the highest price. It's fine if I will wait for a long time to see the price can grow and I can make a buy if the price decrease so I can add more neo in my wallet.

A smart choice, now you can buy back with price cheaper than you sell so many, so much if you still believe in NEO. With long-term, NEO is still a good choice. I hope NEO will reach 200$ in 2019

There is no reason for selling NEO now, instead of selling I would rather buy when the price is cheaper now because I strongly believed that the coin has a great future which can make me generate huge amount of profit if I have much of the coin by then.

Looking at the OP I would think the only way your strategy would have paid off would have been to put the money into USD or Tether and then reinvest into the altcoins in September as everything else dropped just as badly as NEO. Otherwise, you would have just swapped one underperformer for another and missed out on your GAS payments.

neo is a potential altcoin and getting popularity day by day many ICO using its platform which will increase in future,neo is good coin for long term investment, i will be advise you to hold your neo coins for long term

actually it wasn't the NEO that collapsed but all the altcoins deteriorated, whatever happened on the current exchange. so far I have not found the cause of the stock market worsening

The best reason for selling any kind of coin is when the coin has reached the amount where you know you would be making a good amount of money from the coin. If you are not making any profit then you should not be making any kind sales of the coin. Neo is really now just falling on its own, it is following the price of bitcoin just like all the other coins
