2. They don't have the knowledge about crypto.
3. Negative news that they see or hear in social media/TV Media.
4. They were scammed and afraid to invest again.

But users can also protect their computer from hackers by using:
1. Virtual Private Network for Internet Protocol
2. MetaMask Wallet
3. Not saving any private keys in your PC.

It is true that there are ways to protect yourself from losing money in crypto, but we can't always predict the right price movement, the hackers also getting smarter and smarter, and not all people understand the technical things and even with all the speculation and knowledge, crypto still a risky investment

Most of the time there is a high risk of encrypting money markets.
Because of the need to face national policy issues, so if not enough understand encryption currency market, so do not recommend investment.

Some people around not make invest in crypto because they dont believe with high profit like 10 times profit in just a month. They think all that just fraud and they will lose their money. Here people only believe in bank that has real office and they dont believe crypto because does not have any office and real employee. They dont know excatly what blockchain and cryptocurrency work and what the benefits.

In addition, they are afraid because they see the market performance average is not healthy at the moment in which they think that it is not right time to invest. Maybe if the market will go back to its former glory in which all top coins are in former ATH again then i guess people will not afraid to invest anymore.

It's been around 5 months i didn't pour my money into any ICO projects. Apart from your reasons, i found many cheap coin which were listed in exchanges already. Why do i have to buy new ICOs and wait for some months? The market has corrected more than 5 months and there are many coins in which their prices are lower than ICO price, even equal to 1/10 ico price. If i get mistakes, i can sell quickly and withdraw my money. In case of buying ICO projects, i can not do this.

You're right, those are really a big deal when it comes in investment. On Volatility of the Market, I guess, we can't deny the fact that a cryptocurreny will always be volatile (unless it has a powerful authority behind).

Every investments are risk either in real life of in virtual world but whats important is were doing our best to protect our money,hackers are much better now and youre right on that and this is what we need to be protected..

I think the main reason is that most people lack knowledge about encryption technology and the encryption market. Therefore, investing in it blindly and easily will inevitably cause great losses.

I think education of crypto will be the best for all but only for interested people in crypto will do the thing because many users aren't aware of any information about crypto.

Those statements truly have a point. Most of those person who are afraid to invest in cryptocurrency don't have enough knowledge how it works and how will they protect their funds to hackers since cryptocurrency is an online money. Most of them are also confuse to navigate different types of crypto tools and for me, it really looks complicated when I first saw it. I've been doing my business in crypto for a year but my knowledge is still not enough.

The reasons that you suggested make sense and I agree with you, but the most important fact here is that people are simply afraid of losing their hard earned money by investing into this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market since they think its like gambling. As the market volatility reduces with time, more and more people will definitely join this crypto market. The lightning network and segwit wallets are already helping in this aspect.

The number one reason for me why people are afraid in investing in cryptocurrency is the lack of knowledge about crypto. They lack Knowledge about volatility, that it can be used to their advantage. That is the generalise idea of whole thing. In reality people are just scared about the crypto currencies being illegal tender in terms of their government. Thats the first point where more than 50 % of population might be failing in getting into the crypto currencies. Because they heard of some news about investors who were investing into scams investments. However, our part as investors is to be conscious of the legitimacy and business scheme. Most of the people who are afraid to invest in cryptocurrency don’t have any idea about it. Without this they don’t have that much guts to take a risk and make 10 times more profit in a month. Without this they have a lack of knowledge in encryption technology.

This is a business that nobody controls, no regulations, no legal backing. There is no one to old responsible if you lose your money to ICO.
Some people can just put themselves together and develop coin in order to swindle people.

I agree that there were many scam investments platform, but before joining any crypto investments you should investigate at fist. Just to compare it in a sayings that if you to a war without any weapon, then you're capable of being hit by a bullet without even defending yourself being shot. There are some people who fear what they do not understand and crypto currencies needs a deeper understanding and not just the possible profit they could gain from it. Most users are afraid due to negativities that surrounds cyrptoverse as well because there are old school investors who think crypto currencies as a joke and no value. Actually there are many people who are still not having belief and confidence on the blockchain and crypto projects as they don't have knowledge nor they have that kind of confidence and trust on the crypto projects as they have been fearing with past bad experience with some scammers and thinking that even this time they are going to scam you. I think most investors wont put huge amount of money in volatile unpredictable markets which change rapidly everyday . i am quiet sure about the mess happening now with bitcoin & ALTs prices long time ago because of rapid prices increase while we have traders bought bitcoin at 500 $ . i think we need two years ahead for all markets to be stable for traders and to gain investors trust again .

You are right but mostly I think the thing is that so many people have been exposed to so many scams on the internet that they think that cryptos are just another kind of scam. I remember asking a friend if she was willing to invest in bitcoin and the first question that she asked me is 'oh you mean that poniz scheme? no thank you'. Safe to say I was surprised. A lot of people think this way. It is why they are not investing.

You have stated the major reasons why people are afraid or reluctant into investing with crypto. But it would boil down into one simple reason, and that is ignorance. Some people just refuse to educate themselves because they wanna rush into everything. And they would most probably fail because of this attitude. Ignorance is deadly. Its not stable to invest..people are looking for something safer ..crypto will blow in next 2-3 years..

ICOs in recent times have become a means for the wicked to extort people. ICOs used to be very real but now they are just too many with about 80% likely not to reach their soft cap. All these contribute to the reasons why people are feeling reluctant to invest in ICOs.

I think there is one missing why people are afraid to invest in crypto? you did not mention regulations, it is true that countries of the world have banned cryptos in their country and it could be one of the reason some people are afraid.

I don't necessarily think this is the case. There are many ways to invest "safely" but ultimately your return will reflect your approach. Investors who understand the risk/reward ratio love BTC because of the volatility. Many many people cleaned up last year, and so far this year the price may have dropped but has remained quite stable for months now. The price stability has caused many speculators to decide crypto is dead. FUD is invasive unfortunately.

Personally i cannot wait to use crypto on a daily basis to pay for coffee and bread, and whilst investors may not see the returns they once did, our society will be all the better for it.

Well, cryptocurrency market has gained the reputation of being too risky and volatile for the average person to invest in, they rather opt for a simple full time job.

It should lol it deserves it, we still have an abnormal amount of regulatory issues, much of illegal activity still involved with btc(but people coming to terms about the good/bad of each society), and also the massive learning curve. For instance; Smartphones, Insane technology improvement right? There are many reasons why anyone wouldn't want to invest in cryptocurrency. First off, their interests. There are people who technology aren't exactly their thing, or do not find things related to it interesting, so they might not want to venture into it. Major reason I think why people are afraid to invest in crypto is because of several reported cases of fake ICOs and exit scams thereby they know they might be victim.

One of the major reason why i think people don't invest into cryptos is because of the volatility of the space, people are afraid of losing their money because you might invest in a coin this moment and next tomorrow, it will down to -50% lost. this most reason why people are afraid.
