What is the name of the company that operates 1xbit?

1xBit is the cryptocurrency betting division of the 1xBet company.

They might have a good reputation outside this forum but it has a shady past in this forum where they were not allowing the users to withdraw their funds claiming stupid rules and hence they are flagged in this forum for a long time and you will not find any user from this community. If they would have sorted out during that period that would have being great but they just stole the user funds and never responded.

Still look for the operator  :-\. Ah to help customers get the funds !!!

At first I think common CMS, template and games are proof that 1xbit and 1xbet are the same casinos and only difference here is orientation and priority of currencies. (Don't tell me maybe someone stole 1xbit's cms or something hilarious).

That looks entirely shady to me then, I have been using 1xbet for 3 years and I can say that they accept cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawal in multiple cryptocurrencies and recently they even had a promotion(not sure if its over already) In which they promoted the use of TRON as deposit.

Not before any withdrawal, I remember using the website for almost a year if not before being required to undergo KYC verification. However, they might require it sooner for some player depending on their way of gambling, deposit or withdrawal (especially for big deposits or winnings)

missing deposits aren't that common I guess with DOGE in 1xbit , I read some people complaining about missing deposits for other coins mainly that have smart contracts

can't really do much . In bitcointalk and betting forums things are good so I guess the majority are aware now but all of 1xbit's traffic isn't coming from the forums
twitter is full of accounts who are promoting them and posting how nice the odds are , affiliate websites are promoting them heavily as well and ranking them as the best crypto site
they even used to have ads in coinmarketcap and now they have plenty of ads in crypto related websites

only thing that can save people is doing some research and hopefully one of these topics will show up for them

And the guy who hired me (I really dont know his exact role) - not sure if he is one of the partners, if he is the owner, if he is just a service provider - has a history with other sites such as sekabet, too. And even more interesting - he used to do many fiat/crypto exchanges in person with members of the German forum here on bitcointalk. Its just all very confusing.

Probably he just read some previous posts which comes from member who promotes sportsbet. I do not promote sportsbet but I also recommend people to stay away from 1xbit as it is well known as scammer in this bitcointalk forum. On other side, accusation comes from people/players, not from competitor. If the negative feedback comes from members who are promoting other sites, it does not mean that the other sites accuse the same thing against this site.

1xbit sounds more than suspiscious to me, but I understand what SoniaBlack means. 

On one hand, It is difficult to avoid scam because most review sites could profitably promote scammer through affiliate programs.
One the other hand, most reliable posts here come from people taking part of the gambling industry. They could have an interest to make bad publicity.  Even Game Protect could hardly be impartial since it is making money in this business (doing both affiliation and enforcement).

About 1xbit, you can play and win some little cash but if you are winning big here starts the problems, asking for KYC etc et... everybody knows only must see some experiences from other users in this forum and another forum very popular that is full of complains about 1xbit or 1xbet.

The last 1xbit.com scam was reported 3 days ago.

Account holder won a bet of around 500 mBTC. 2 minutes after the bet was settled, account was blocked, and now can't login.

Support wrote the following email and stopped communicating:

"Good Day. We want to inform you, that our company decided to stop any collaboration with you (closing your account). The decision was made after a careful investigation of the situation by our security service. The decision is based on a violation of the Terms and Conditions."

Many of the other victims received the same email. They even do not say why they stop the collaboration or what Terms and Conditions were breached!

But nothing appears on the account !!!

Naturally I asked support-en@1x-bit.com to credit the sum to the account or to send me back the sum. And they immediately redirected me towards security@1x-bit.com.
After a dozen of e-mails from Friday to Sunday, they answered to my last e-mail, on Sunday evening, where I didn't put my account number in the subject line and threatened to post my issue on forums : "The bookmaker reserves the right to refuse to accept a bet from any individual without giving a reason."

I told them this answer is completely unrelated to my case and insisted thrice. But no more answer from them.

When you type 1xbit in google, there are a lot of websites:

2. 1x-bit.mobi (users think it's their mobile version?)
3. 1xbitapp.com

Despite the fact that I don't like 1xbit and it's pretty much known that this is a scam casino and has very bad reputation there, I would say that this is the mistake from your side and there is no reason to blame 1xbit in this case.

These Russian scammers use different website copies for trapping the victims, and they repeat their actions in all possible ways. Never ever trust them, they have taken my $1000 a year ago. The emails ends here. nothing else... Asked what did I violate and they did not respond anymore. Just took my money 36 mbtc. Also playing they lowered the bets odds after they were made. For example 1.83 was lowered to 1.55...

The 1xbit/1xbet are always massively advertising their platforms on every possible media and forum so lots of newbies who don't care to research fall in the trap. Infact the 1xbet scammers even made Partnerships with clubs like Barcelona. I think this is a well-organized campaign and that there is a company behind it. 1xbet seems to me to exist longer and be bigger. They would never allow a competitor to adopt almost the same name with the exact same website. Conclusion: 1xbit and 1xbet are from the same owner.

It was quite surprising for me to see this kind of advertisement from them because what I see is that they are trying to advertise very cheaply. So otherwise good websites that have Gambling ads ticked now have to put up with 1xbit and bitstarz chicanery on their sites. (bitstarz bought a ton of ad space on faucets)

I think there is not much we can do about it. As long as they are active, they will keep scamming over and over again. Admins will not close the topic, I am afraid. And they will also not do it.
We can keep posting messages here and warn others, but then their topic is free advertising here with many posts. Its a difficult choice what we have to do. If we do not post any warnings, then people might not get warned and fell into their trap also.

But no evidence to prove 1xbit association with 1xbet as the two platform doesn't have the same team the only similarity is the fact that they both have similar names and also share similar games as it games software is developed by the same developer, but aside from this, there is not the connection of whatever form between 1xbet and 1xbit.

A legal case was brought by "SBGOK" (Foundation for representation of online gaming victims) on Curacao acting collectively on behalf of many gamblers who had been wronged in the same manner. Well, let me say that (personally), I understand that this thread is an announcement thread of a service that seem to no longer be active on this forum, while other threads I come across that are being locked by mods are usually threads created by casual forum users for casual discussions on topics of interests.

I am assuming that the reason why this thread will not be locked is because it's an official announcement thread a notable service (disregarding the service is a scam), and the fact that 1xbit is no longer active on ths forum today does not mean they will never be again in the future, they may come back some day and decide to still make use of this thread.

There's something about scam and warning people about it. When you try to warn people about scam, it will look as if you want to prevent them from winning big until they become victims. You can relate this to Ponzi scheme scams that promise high ROI. When you warn people about it, they will not understand till they are scammed.
