Right now we are using coinchoose to determine what coin to mine. For the most part its reliable but I have been thinking about developing my own version of coinchoose because it lacks coins. For profit switching its pretty basic to calculate whats profitable to mine. As long as you have an exchange like cryptsy to bounce prices off of. What's hard for most to do is to adapt for new coins. Thankfully we can support new coins in under 15 mins.

If you simply mean the coin that is being mine, it will be displayed 24/7

I'm deploying code regularly which makes the site unresponsive at times. It should be up.

One suggestion to decrease downtime is to set scantime via your miner.  I have mine set to 5 seconds, and the downtime between coin switching is only five seconds now.  Our backend implementation is an instantaneous switch; the bottleneck is in the client.

How do you handle the work that's already been spent in a round and you jump to the next coin?  Will you finish that block out before jumping?

I haven't given this thought but this is actually a fantastic idea.

I think what we can do when making such a decision is look at the average time it took find a block and see if its worth staying to finish till the next block.

You're going to want to create some system of hysteresis for profit switching that takes a number of factors into account. For instance, HashCows offen jumps to coins which are *slightly* more profitable than the current coin, only to jump back a minute later with no gains to show for the switch, when it would be more profitable to simply stay on the current coin. Properly filtering this will need to bias the coin choices based on past history. Some other things to consider include:

- Price at multiple exchanges
- Time of exchange confirms (cryptsy can take hours, and end up trading the coins at a much lower rate)
- Average reject rate for users (for instance, FastCoin = high reject rate on my rig)
- Average profitability of the coin over time
- Coin parameters (finishing blocks vs switching now, etc)

Likely scenario would be to score all of these factors as a low-pass filtered average over several time windows, then assign weights to them for each time window and finally weight them against each other. Rather than determining the weight manually, you should consider a system that evaluates different weightings and finds the ideal one.

For instance, imagine we construct min/average/max profitability for each coin for various time windows (say, 20 minutes, hourly, 6 hour, days, etc, based purely on exchange value). Assuming we're using cryptsy, we can look at the average time between transfer and trade to determine a possible variance on price over that time (based on our min value during a time period matching the average trade time for cryptsy). This gives us a reasonable projection of price and variance by the time we get to the exchange. Factor in the historical reject rate for the coin (averaged by users), and perhaps the slope of the coin over a long time window (for instance, doge has been going down for days), and you get a pretty decent score for your coin. More importantly, it's unlikely that a small spike in the data (single bogus trade, etc) is going to cause the system to thrash over to the wrong coin.

Anyway, you get the idea..

By default everything is set to auto trade. Yes you should set your btc address. Payouts aren't 100% complete right now but will probably be finished tomorrow.

on a more serious note, best of luck with the new pool.  Hopefully you aren't actually over-confident with security in general (saying no sql-injections is easy of course, but everything else).  A miner who thinks a pool can never be hacked is naive, but an operator who thinks he can never be hacked is just reckless.

Thank you. We're going to put our best foot forward on the matter and try everything we can think of. Nothing is full proof these days, but it has to be a priority for us. We're aware of the possibilities and we'll just have to improve and adapt.

Right now we have to do manual withdrawals from cryptsy, which we plan to do once a day at some time. Once we do a single withdrawal we will enable coin withdrawal. It's not 100% done right now with minmum/max thresholds but I should be able to do it later tonight.

I wouldn't expect phenomenal earning yet. We're doing simple max profit ratio switching now. But tomorrow or in a bit we will be doing moving average calculations with history and taking into account the liquidity of the coins. Remember guys, this is ALPHA. Thats with the understanding that lucky coin will ever get transferred, which it wont. We still have to determine the correct coins to mine, we have to factor in volatility. In the mean time I have disabled the broken coins like luckycoin.

hehe one time slush pool gave me 6 BTC just before it shot up to 1k. Sadly, the "error" got fixed just befolre it verified.

Will your pool have some detection measure in place to ensure you don't control more than 51% of any block network? This probably isn't such an issue for old altcoins, but new altcoins would be quite susceptible.

simply controlling over 51% of the hashrate isn't a problem.  The pool OP would have to be inserting/denying transactions maliciously, or be running older versions of a client(the reason for the DOGE fork).  Many switching pools have well over 50% of a network hashrate without issue, and some coins such as Novacoin were mined primarily by a single pool for a while.

Updates: Deposits aren't being recorded correctly but all the coins are being auto traded. Tomorrow I will fix deposits, so don't be worried if you see them stop. Once deposits are fixed we will audit your work, scrap the rounds, and divide the earnings accordingly. Also, for users who didn't sign up with a pin... Your pin has been set to 1234. The estimated balance is partially based on some untradeable coins, this is why we have thus disabled luckycoin. Once we start factoring in trade volume, this won't be an issue. We are also doing some period tasks on this server which will be moved out to a dedicated server. We are really restrictive on the alpha because its an alpha. If the engine isnt functioning properly we dont want to throw 500 users at it and you won't want to use it.

Has anyone actually mined with this pool for a few days consecutively yet?  My account has been approved but I haven't pointed my miners here yet.  Wanted to get an idea of what the payout/MH/s is currently. 

If you're looking for an awesome reliable pool to mine in RIGHT NOW, dont try ours. We've been up for a day and a half and we're working out big bugs.

I've been mining there for 1 day and a half with 5.2Mh/s but the payout is still not shown correctly. I think we'll have some news tomorrow.

I have yet to fix deposits/trading which is no trivial ordeal. The estimates are wrong, but you will be paid for your work no matter what. I have histories of every single users shares.

I appreciate the honesty.  I have a fairly large investment in my equipment and I want to make the most out of my hashpower.

The reason we have not been letting that many people in is because the site isn't 100% stable. For instance, I am paying out BTC to everyone right now but I had to do an audit because our transaction code had a bug. Do you understand that this experience is not representative of the final product by any means? If so, I will enable you.

Created a worker, but was unable to set a worker password and can't find where to do that.  Also, in my worker settings it says profit switching is OFF for my worker. How do I set these values? I'd rather have profit switching turned on before I start.

Right now profit switching is forced, also there is no need for a correct password, you can use whatever you like.

We have been so focused on the platform that we havent made a getting started guide yet, it will come.

The audit is correct and your low amount is due to us making poor decisions to mine shit coins that are untradeable. If you drop me a line with your address I will be glad to drop you some BTC for your hashes however. For this reason the pools used for auto trading is now more restricted. Since we are only making profitability rating decisions the system is a bit ignorant.

Hey guys, I know this is a minor thing, but it's kind of annoying.

Your pool links are tcp+stratum instead of stratum+tcp.

It doesn't work for myself in the former. Had to manually change it myself. Just letting you know.

You're the second user we've heard about the problem, although none of us have personally ran into it. We'll switch it around to stratum+tcp on the website.

I just pushed some code to handle payouts, we just have to transfer BTC out of Cryptsy so thats its available for payouts. Expect an update tonight. Currently working on the profit switcher to make it more intelligent.

Yes we are working on it, getting payouts active is more important at the moment and that will be finished tonight. So we will be working on it very soon. I already coded up some algorithm our finance guy advised us with, just need to test it. We also have a limited number of pools at the moment, we will be fixing that as well.

Couple more questions just need clarification on:
1. The hashrate shows up as MHs, in any stage will you implement KHs for lower hashrate miners?
2. Do we need to put individual wallet addresses or just bitcoin or does it deposite straight into your site?

1. Yes, I will have to change what is reported by the coin servers but I can do this
2. Just bitcoin since autotrading is forced now.

Will there be a manual payout?
What exactly does the Transferring, Finished, Trading, Deposits Set, Maturing states mean?

Auto withdrawal will be done tonight, but you should be able to redeem coins yourself. It may not work because of BTC fees so i will make an effort for a batch redeem of payouts.
Gonna make some docs soon, just more important stuff.

Pipeline goes like this.

Maturing means the round is over but the coins aren't ready to be deposited.
Deposits sent means coins have been sent to the exchange.
Trading means the engine is currently creating sell orders for the coins deposited and trying to get them sold.
Transferring is a state when coins are exchanged and waiting for us to withdraw them to our wallet.
Finished means completely finished, this could be due to mining 0 coins or after having withdrawn the BTC from the exchange.

It's not too bad as of yet. Of course it can always get better.

Another question:
How long is the turnaround from trading to finished? (approximately)
How often will payouts be? Once a day, twice a day, etc.

After trading the round goes into a state of being traded, which means it is fully exchanged. At this point it is transferring.

When it is transferring it is waiting for us to withdraw from cryptsy to our BTC wallet, which happens once a day. I'll try and update the output so it reflects that more clearly that transferring. Payouts are once a day at the moment.

Yeah so neocoin was busted, in the future we can check if the coin is dead or active by looking at its hash rate. This is why alpha is valuable :)

Honestly it's a bit soon to tell - the profit switching algorithm just got implemented a day ago.  I will say it's looking much better today than the first two days I mined.

I don't think it's sucking, but right now I honestly won't say it's great either.  My benchmark is around .01 btc/1Mhs/day - so I'm looking for about .04 btc/day on my 4.2ish Mhs farm.  That's about .00167 btc per hour.

Last night I pointed all my hash at Lottocoin and woke up with about .017 btc or around .0015 per hour.  9am EST I pointed everything at hashbros and I have 0.00374914 BTC at this moment, and there was about .001 estimated balance there when I started.  So that's .0027 btc over 2.5 hours, or about .001 btc/hr which is about 33% below what I am aiming for.

Having said all that - middlecoin always showed shit results for awhile and then the balance just kind of exploded, so it may be the same here.  Maybe after 24 hours I will get on a steady cycle of maturing coins and see the results I'm looking for - also you'll be adding coins and improving your algorithm over time.

Another point - altcoin profitability sucks across the board right now.

So, I see great improvement over the first 48 hours, and I'm hoping for further improvement.

You can't examine results with that fine of granularity.  There's a certain "luck" aspect involved in mining so you're going to have variance in your payouts.  I think the ABSOLUTE minimum timeframe you can examine is 48 hours; even that might be too small to compare apples to apples. 

I take your point, but it hasn't been my experience.  If I point to WDC, LOT, or PXC and just let me machines run, I get a really steady return.  Like I said, I understand profit switching works differently and middlecoin would often look like a dumpster fire all day only to have a great payout the next morning.

Mikeybit, I agree to an extent. The best we can do is try to make the best decision taking what's given. Right now we are operating almost as if %-change in price is random, and do not try to make predictions. We can however improve our decisions by looking at volume. As we increase our hash power, making predictions will be less important because we will be able to mine faster.

Geocurt, you're right. You can definitely use data to select the N most profitable coins. It is just a matter of picking the best one!

You have plenty of information available so building a model attempting to predict %change is possible.  However, comparing alt-coins to real world financial markets is difficult since there is absolutely 0 regulation and the people that trade cryptos aren't necessarily the most rational.

To address your 2nd point, it is still important to look at depth of the markets.  If we're mining faster, we're collecting more coins, therefore we need market depth to be able to offload those coins.  If we're mining faster, we still don't want to switch coins all the time as a lot of hashpower is lost during switches.

I thought that I would add my two cents. If you're trying to predict Bitcoin. As mentioned, you could use volume (more miners the better), also there is sentiment analysis software that can be used to analyze recent articles. I may be a little bit off, I've been trying to follow...

Just sent you  an invite. Anyways a small update. Looks like the profit switching algorithm is finally looking really great. We have also got rid of shitty coins so we have almost instant liquidity. We are planning to go beta very soon as the platform is getting quite stable. Right now we are preparing for scale so we will be adding multiple web servers, preparing the coin nodes. Finalizing the last features that we want to roll out for the beta. The only thing holding us back now is users and hashing power so that we can start mining better coins.

While you're small, take advantage of that.  Mine coins that the other larger pools can't.  ie: Memecoin is insanely profitable right now but the larger pools can't mine it due to lack of liquidity.  

i really can't wait for this pool to get live. i tried to ping hashbros.co.in and i'm getting 95ms!! my hash rate is not that high but i am very much willing to route my 2.34mh/s hash rate here. i can actually give 2x more but i'm currently having problems on the mobo of the other rig but hopefully i can make it work tomorrow.

I've been mining for a day, and doing about 2.75%-3.5% of the work, and my payouts all show up as 0.00000000BTC.

EDIT - Also my hashrate shows up as .3 MH/s when my miner is showing a solid .6 MH/s.

Beta is coming very soon and the list is being added to much faster than before. Hang in there.

Hash rates are calculated and are just estimates. Your earnings should be calculating..

Only payouts which haven't been traded will show up as .000000 so observe the status first.

We don't mine coins that lack liquidity. And the main profit switching pool for now will aim for stable payouts, low risk.

Okay on the hashrates, just curious. The payouts show up as 0.00000000BTC with a round status as "Deposits Sent." However in more recent rounds, they seem to be functioning better (only one of all 0s). Sorry to keep asking questions, but one more: at what point will the balance become redeemable? Anyways, excited to see that the pool is well maintained, and has a very nice UI!

We only support pools that are profitable and have liquidity for profit switching. For our standalone pools we will setup whatever users want as long as there is a decent amount of interest. Add it to hashbros.uservoice.com and let other users vote your idea up.

How long does it take for confirmed balance to become redeemable?

The constant trolling and whining in the Hashcows thread is getting pretty bad.  I don't have a ton of hash power but would be glad to throw it at HashBros to test things out.  Username is uh60james.

Been mining for 24+ hours straight with 0.62MHs. Estimated daily earning is about 0.003 BTC, what I actually earned is about 0.0027 BTC.
Average rejection rate is 3-4%, ping to server is 100ms.
I know this is still alpha, but the earnings are about less than 1/3 of Middlecoin for my current hash rate.

Just an update to you guys, not complaining or anything.

As a senior user of multipools , i noticed that very big pools destroy the alt coin market prices and diff.  go crazy.
So i think that problem would be solved if any user could decide which coin he wants to miner right now from his smartphone app ;).

Our estimated earnings are correct, I simply don't believe you can get those earnings on Middlecoin with your hash rate.
We have some issues with Casinocoin right now that I haven't been able to handle because of work + school, so make sure you're looking at your estimated balance.

The problem is it's never apples to apples.  Middlecoin has a huge std deviation between it's users even for same hashrate.  I'm not sure if it's something inherent to the pool or if the different servers are doing different things at different times or what, but 2 people with identical hashrate could have 2 very substantially different results

Middlecoin cashes out every day ONLY if your balance is > .01 otherwise it's once every 7 days for balances > .001.

That one that you showed had built up unexchanged and immature coins - look at his hashrate for the previous few days.

Public Beta?

It seems the current benchmark for auto-switching BTC payout is ~0.01 BTC per Mh/sec a day right now.  So expecting 0.009 for 600 Kh/sec for a day of work isn't realistic.  Also every multipool has it's up and down days.

Not sure that any pool is currently getting that on a consistent basis.

1 Mh/day at current difficulty gets about 0.25 LTC.. which is ~0.0075 BTC.  Just to put the 0.01 BTC per day number into perspective.  That's about a 34% premium over mining LTC.  Middlecoin on average has been returning about that lately.  Though there are streaks on the high and low sides.  It'll be interest to see if Middlecoin will be able to keep it up.

I just pulled the top 152 (random number) people from middlecoin, deleted any people who didn't have a previous payout, calculated btc/mh, and calculated average and std dev.  

Std Dev: 0.002507678
Average: 0.009247033

Today is a pretty high payout day for them, so not really representative of the normal day.  Feel free to do the same exercise...

One caveat that must be mentioned is that this assumes that the displayed hashrate has been maintained throughout the day...

1. We are limited to only so many coins. Right now we are setup to mine fst,csc,lot,net,gdc,dgc but there are some things i need to sort out. We can't just mine doge, wdc, tag, or even dgc/net etc without much higher hash rate. Also coins that have no market depth are unsellable or coins with a low hash rate may never arrive at the exchange because confirmations are so slow (ask us how we know). There's alot more that meets the eye when looking at coinwarz.

I was doing some heavy server work really late. Thought I had things in working order and went to sleep. It's fixed now.

We basically separated our web servers into web and worker servers. The worker servers do the coin/block/worker updates while the web servers just display the website.

This is important moving forward so we can scale our web servers without impacting coin/block/worker updates.

No, since there is still quite a bit of work to do so we dont want to have a hard deadline.

Guys, we're not letting anyone else into the alpha because most people are just using it for a day and leaving, we're looking for dedicated testers that understand that they are donating their hashes to a cause. Connection to the server stopped several times but i am not sure if it is me or you guys doing some changes.

One feature that would be nice would be on the My Earnings page, when you sort it would sort all the data, not just the data that is being displayed on the current page (or at least a Show All Button so I can sort everything)  Since right now trying to group everything that is trading vs being deposited vs etc. requires me to write things down.  Maybe have a button to export the data to CSV (should be easy to do with setting the MIME Type and just outputting the table data)

Here's something that would be a big deal for me:

On some profit-switching pools, I notice earnings wait until the end of the round to cash out - even if not waiting on a BTC exchange (I prefer to get the coins before waiting on an exchange).

It would be extremely beneficial if it could pay out the same way a typical PPLNS pool would: automatically at a minimum payout once earnings are confirmed. If this has already been discussed, forgive me, but I just thought of this and seeked out this thread to add this. This would maximize profitability, which waiting on a round to end doesn't.

if it was mining say FastCoin, it finds 2 blocks at the start, the round is still going on when those blocks mature, so it trades them as soon as they mature, and not wait until the round ends and all blocks mature to be exchange?

On the "your latest round" id 1305 is constantly on the list even though i have participated about 100 rounds since then.

How often are withdrawls made after trading? None of my balance is redeemable yet. Also am I correct in assuming that any round that ends with 0 blocks found means the algorithm decided to switch to a more profitable coin mid round?

I believe they said withdrawls from cryptsy have to be done manually and thy do it once a day, though looks like they may not have withdrawn in a day or two, but it is an alpha so things may be delayed some.

Correct, right now with the low hash rate it looks bad because theres a big possibility of getting zero coins but once the hashrate is up it will become much less of an issue. Withdrawals are made about every once or two days, it will become more regular once we open up the beta.

Just added Earthcoin and Stablecoin! Doing some heavy preparation for beta, cleaning up code and trying to push out some final features.

Still seems somewhat off depending on how wide I make my window, it is almost like a 1px difference can make it messed up versus good looking still.  I just took some screencaps and measured the width of the screen to see when this cutover point is, and it was fine looking at 1199px and not fine at 1201px, so 1200px seems to be the magical number where there is still an issue.  I know you have designed the site to be reactive to the size of the window, and so it must have something to do with that.

What do you guys want to see in a profitability page / calculator?

Being able to "modify" your hashrate to show how much you may earn would be nice, also being able to see what you would earn in usd, btc, ltc and other coins and maybe enter your own time interval or select from a drop down hourly, daily, weekly, etc.  Also showing calculated profitability and then showing what the pool has actually earned on it and maybe what percentage (or minutes/hours) of the past 24 hours the pool has spent mining it.

A feature I would like is to see is withdrawl history, showing each time when you withdrew, how much, and where too.

Also a "bug" that I noticed is that the menu on the left shows Sign Out on every page, except when I am on the blog page, just seems kind of disjointed to not have it appear on that one page.

As far as the blog page thing goes, they are kind of 2 distinct portions of our website with different rights. We blended the templating styling to match between the blog and actual hashbros website so it appears to be one in the same. It's a hack for now, but we'll eventually get the sign out button on the blog as well, just low priority right now.

For the blog page I had kind of wondered if that is what it was (looked to see if it was a subdomain or something first to see if that explained it), that is fine, not a huge issue or anything, just noticed it.

Take out SPT out of you auto-switching: if you don't do it right - you will just waste your user's hashes.

As far as I know, you take profitability out of coinchose, and coinchose is never accurate about spots when difficulty is low for the reason that it takes difficulty of the already found block and not the block which is currently mined and there is a delay as well. For spt, retargeting is done every other block, so even if you take difficulty from the client directly (using getwork command), and make your own calculations of profitability, you will only be right in 50% of the time and almost never when difficulty is low. Block time for SPT is 70 seconds, but it has wild swings up and down and you won't be able to catch a low difficulty periods accurately, and you will end up mining it when it is not profitable.

2. We don't make decisions based on simply profitability rating.
3. And the diff values are not calculated using the getwork command.

Where do you get the difficulty of the coins? It was a mistype on my part when I said: "getwork", I meant to say: "getdifficulty". Both "Getdifficulty" or "getinfo" commands of the client would return you difficulty of the already found block and not block which is currently mined by the network.

getmininginfo. Mining SPT for a couple minutes when its difficulty has increase a trivial or nontrivial amount is the last of my worries, especially when the pool hashrate increases and SPT becomes a less viable coin for our diff.

"getmininginfo" command has the same problem as "getdifficulty" and "getinfo" commands. It could be hours before you detect correct difficulty on the next block found by the network.

Here is an example for you:

Block x:    Difficulty is switching to 1 from 5 (you would still see difficulty as 5 by using getmininginfo command)
Block x+1: Difficulty is still 1 (Spots are doing re-target every other block). At this point you would detect the difficulty change, but the entire network is already mining with low difficulty and your pool just switching to it now with several seconds delay.
Block x+2: Actual Difficulty is jumping back to 5 because previous 2 blocks were found much faster than target 140 seconds, but you still see the difficulty as 1 until another block with high difficulty is found.
Block x+3. At this point you would only see that difficulty actually jumped to 5.

So during this switch, you would end up mining at difficultly 5 90% of the time and only 10% at low difficulty 1.

Take a look at spot Difficulty chart and see how it behaves.

Edit: So, your strategy of getting difficulty from "getmininginfo" command is fine for any coin but SPT, because all other coins have more than 2 blocks between retarget.

Can someone please provide an estimated earnings per MH for Hashbros? I understand this is based on a combination of a lot of variables including the number of participants to coin mined to my configuration, etc. I don't need schooling on that aspect but need a general earnings average for the entire pool. I currently have 15+MHs on another switching pool and would like to make an intelligent switch with the right expectations if possible. Thanks.

Here are my personal estimated daily earnings for my hash rate : .0065 BTC / .75 MH

So roughly .0086 BTC / MH

And thats with most of the day at about 6 MH on the pool. We're sitting at 65 MH and growing. Once the hash rate goes up, we get access to more coins.

In order to have a better view about cashing out in BTC (vs doing it on oneself): is that immediate and complete auto sell rate you use ?

Also, do you mean you are manually cashing out BTC from cryptsy?
Since there is a captcha for withdrawal  (unless you are using "special trick out there" ;)), this  would mean that BTC cashout doesn't hapen as soon as traded but once every manual conversion instead ? Or am I missing something ?

I don't know what immediate vs complete auto sell rate is. But we make trades ourselves, not using auto trading.

You have to manually cash out BTC from cryptsy. You are right BTC cashout does not happen as soon as traded but once every night when we get those coins manually.

This is not immediate vs complete but "immediate and complete" and this is one of the 4 auto sell options you have when doing auto sell at Cryptsy.
This one option speaks for itself indeed: it will sell at any price buying orders are available until the quantity to sell gets entirelly sold.
So you may end up selling below the current top buy bid if the quantity exceeds what's available at this price, but you are sure to sell the whole lot ...  uuh, well, unless something goes wrong in the Cryptsy process which already happenned to me: the order got stuck at market price (I guess the moment the deposit came in), unsold, while the market went down. It eventually got sold one week later when the market came up again ... saddly Cryptsy never made the effort to answer to my support ticket about this (despite several "bumps").

Anyway **theoretically** that would be the way to make sure incoming deposit are traded when things are done automatically and innatended.
But my experience is this is not fully reliable (I've had others auto trade done right though), and since I've had no answer from Cryptsy I cannot tell much about why this...

Anyway, this means you are doing all trades from incoming alt coins at Cryptsy to BTC manually and then again make manual BTC withdrawal to your wallet before dispatching according to earned shares ?
Indeed this may end up being more reliable than automated tasks at Cryptsy (and less cost since Cryptsy charges for extra cost for auto sell), but this is quite an amount of manual work !

There are quite a few rounds that got "dropped": well I can see I mine them, shares show up in dashboard, but no earnings end up being cashed out off the round (says N/A 0 BTC).

Also, don't forget to add SSL, that's a piece of cake compared to the whole lot coding you are doing ;) ... but this is mandatory IMHO

By manually trading on cryptsy I mean not using their auto trade feature and trading automatically using their API. You can make sell orders through it. Also rounds with no earnings aren't bad, it is just the consequence of bad luck. The next round of that same coin could find a block within minutes so it really doesn't matter. If it switches to something more profitable it is doing that which is better than sitting on that coin.

I had been mining at middlecoin since last summer and noticed that it goes through a cycle of famine and feast. For long time, the conventional wisdom was that middlecoin averaged about 0.01 btc per MHs and I can tell you that it is true. When the dogecoin mania hit in December 2013, the average went to about 0.05 btc, but for a few days. Now that we have a second wave of dogecoin mania, we are seeing the average go to about 0.02 to 0.03 btc per MHs over at Middlecoin.

I don't know how H20, the middlecoin operator, is doing it. Does he have a secret exchange or a secret buyer? There is an allegation of theft (that H20 is stealing from the pool, so when he's NOT stealing, the payout is higher).

I will be happy if hashbros can provide at least 0.01 btc per MHs, predictably, reliably, and in open honest manner.

I think it will be possible, if the hash rate allows us to compete with dogecoin. But until we get there it wont be. It's a chicken and the egg problem. We need hashers to mine doge, but hashers are reluctant to mine because we're not mining doge.

Essentially iterates over all your payouts in the last day. If you don't have a full days worth it will multiply them to equal a full days worth. I still have to see how accurate this is because im positive i earn more.

The increased hash rate will increase the payout amount, so it wouldn't make a difference.

Exactly what I was thinking. The higher hashrate will get higher shares...hence higher payouts...no need to completely smash us small time miners...

In other news leaderboards disabled because doing the calculations makes our web server timeout. We are going to be calculated the leaderboard stats in a scheduled job so that they will display very very fast. Also removing current hash rates from the leaderboards as that is a very expensive thing to calculate accurately.

I've come from page https://hashbros.co.in/earnings where was green button 'Request redeem' or something like that, popup window was displayed and requested my email and password. And after that several times error.

Few minutes after I posted here automatic payout happen. I can't test it now, but I've increased autopayout limit to 0.1BTC which far away from my hashing power.

Thanks for the report. We had a bit of extra web site downtime as we were working on lots of backend sysadmin type of things. Our apologies for that.

Just for future reference, even if the website "goes down," the mining will still be active and shares will still be counted accurately. That's one of the many advantages our architecture has over many other pools. They're disjoint parts, so if one goes down, it doesn't affect any of the others.

Yeah, we paid out all balances over .001 and made redemptions for everyone, which automatically creates emails. No one was hacked.

shame you guys are shutting down...just a thought, you should sell the script for those wanting to start-up a pool like this.
