every time I see market developments and bitcoin never passes 10K.

i just want to know your opinion about bitcoin price today, is this normal? and how long bitcoin will survive under 10k? until june? till July?

As long as it needs to be seriously. If you are here for the long run you wouldn't worry much. Let it do what it needs to do if it goes up it went up if not then I guess demand is not high enough as it should be. To be fairly honest with you many people are simply getting into the market with huge hype being build on which is why we can say that small bubble is forming as many people only care for their money to grow and they don't care about using bitcoin or some other crypto. If it tanks it tanks. Just look at this was from 2013 till last year it was few years before bitcoin reached mainstream media and was one of the most talked thing. I will say give it 6months-1year if not more to build the price up, look for the long road and not for small riches.

The price doesn't have much to do with bitcoin surviving If you ask me. It's surviving because of the technology and the active development. It's a more convenient way to transfer money and people are starting to realize that.

We just have to exercise patience for now, and d it’s better that it’s hovering just around one price than for it to reduce drastically.it will go up when the time is right.

The current price for bitcoin might last until the end of the year. Not so many activity on blockchain for bitcoin as too many peoples are selling. Due to banned and bad publicity. This might be change when the market most busy are the end of year. So i very positive bitcoin will rise.

I also feel bored with the price too long under 10k at the moment, and I hope it will recover soon to above 10k and I hope it will recover in June.

This price is way better than 6k price of month of February. This is actually good price and even if the past day it had a drop to 8k it has recovered and break the many speculations that it cant reach 10k this month. The price will always be volatile because it is how it is. We investors must enjoy and be wise enough in the ride so that we can profit in the process.

You haven't been around Bitcoin for long, if you are asking such a question about "surviving". Bitcoin price doesn't matter in the long run, why would BTC be bothered if the price is over or under 10k? in the long run price will reflect the interest into cryptocurrency from broad population. We are currently not into adoption phase, large majority of population on the planet doesn't have a clear picture what Bitcoin really is. It make take a decade or two for the average Joe to understand this. Once majority of people gets this understanding, Bitcoin must also be useful for them if you expect someone to conduct the payments in BTC. I don't believe we will even begin to reach this point in many, many years, but it is inevitable, it will happen in 2020, or 2030, or maybe 2050, but it will happen for sure.

Oh, it's really hard to answer this question. I don't know how long bitcoin will stay under 10K USD. Many days are gone, but bitcoin still stuck under 10K USD. We really need to break again the 10K USD Target. Otherwise all those hopes, predictions will be wrong  :(

It is normal, if you're bored with the price of Bitcoin you should move to altcoins. No one really knows when will the price go up and if it does happen it'll surely be going down because the mt gox trustee is looking to dump the rest of the 160,000 btc in the future. Bitcoin should survive for a very long time as long as there's miners and transactions.

Bitcoin will even survive at a price of $100, so asking how long bitcoin will survive under $10k doesn't makes sense. If you mean to ask how long bitcoin will stay below $10k than no one can really answer that as it isn't easy to predict the crypto markets accurately and the crypto markets doesn't works like your traditional markets.

Bitcoin will survive the 10000 price hurdle very soon, and a lot of forecast indicates by august bitcoins will break pass 12000 Usd price. The below 10k price it has been trading will end very soon and it start it upward journey to 12000.

Well if i see this right,the chart seems like the last year chart,so i think we will see price movement in june.I hope there's nothing bad happen like FUD spreading or whale big dump on the market.Let's just wait for the price to move,keep holding for now and don't lose hope.

A bit of stability isn't bad, for bitcoin's purpose, it's far better to hover around 8k rather than pumping up 50% for a day!
Currently it seems like the market is really just working for the big players that can dump/pump to earn more.

It all depends on how much patience we all have got, it's the correction phase which is going on now and we all have to wait for the true trend Ie uptrend. Many investors will start flowing in the markets to make the market even more volatile and also keep the volume on. So I am waiting like all others and encouraging here to be a part of the family and earn some profits.

If we look at the chart of bitcoin price, in every last year that is time to bitcoin going up go to the new ATH. So, we can wait until at least October to see how far bitcoin can go. I think it will be reach more than $20K.

I think it is normal to have a price under 10K  until now because last year it was pump so high and bitcoin needs a momentum to increase its value again. Remember that whales are waiting for you to sell your bitcoin because they know that majority of investors are not patient enough to wait for the right time.

Bitcoin is just resting for now. We may see another rally this year, we just have to wait and see.

How long, if i could buy it some time ago i would never sell it under 10k or less, many ppl have patience to wait, when the next all time high will come, so who will sell it now? i doubt.

It is difficult to say that how many times Bitcoin will survive under 10k. But i can say one think that patience is key of success.We need to wait until July or August to see what will happen.

This is really tough to guess at this moment. Most of the traders though it will go up after the consensus 2018, But it hasn't. However, I think HODL would be the best policy at this moment. Let's see what happen next.

Cant tell you mate on when bitcoin will stay under $10,000. If you are bored then look for some other things to do and dont check its price everyday. I expected that after the consensus conference its the time that bitcoin will surpass $9,000 but I'm wrong on that one. Its better not to expect and just ride the movement of what bitcoin is showing.

Bitcoin prices will rise if there are whales who buy Bitcoin in large quantities. I think 10k dollars would be easy if that happened. And hopefully there is a great country that legalizes crypto.

I think it is not bad thing as people think because If Bitcoin price rise sharply, media and ordinary people see bitcoin as a bubble. And, it hurts blockchain technology. Furthermore, current price good for ICOs and altcoins.

If you feel tired you just pause and re-enter it when it's fresh again, meaning you do not get tired to wait and be patient. the analysis should be based on the data from last year, if you ask whether the price is now normal then I can answer it "still normal". try to see the circulation of the graph last year, you will know that this month the price will remain in place will not fall far or rise high. prices will rise before mid-June, well from here the price will fluctuate up until in mid-August after which prices will be back in place and will back up at the end of the year.

Patience is a virtue that is why we need to have patience on this Bitcoin performance. Indeed, there are lot of good development like former JP Morgan is now pro Crypto currencies but their are also developments that did not favor the Bitcoin like Bill Gates, and Warren Buffet are now against it and that is why some of the investors are now confusing if they will invest or not but if the people like us will loss our faith and patience on this investment then for sure it will be more really difficult to reach the $10,000 again so keep on holding pal.  :)

I also believe in that because bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency that it has capabilities to soars high. As of now volatility of bitcoin is high that the price goes up and down but im sure once it fully recovers bitcoin will booms again at crypto market. I have a strong feeling that within this year or maybe at year ends bitcoin will surpass 20000$. At the current sub-10k (USD) rates, cloud mining rigs are proving unsustainable. Reduction in supply will nudge the price upwards, that might perhaps encourage investor sentiment, and lead to more uptick.  However, that might also impel some 'fud'dy hodlers to unloose a fee coins on the market.

It can survive until tge end of July. We all know that last year, bitcoin rides its uptrend after july or august. All we can do for now is wait and dismantle the negativity around us so that we can hold bitcoin more longer.

I never questioned the associated bitcoin prices stuck in the $ 10,000 range. This is actually a good start of bitcoin, it signifies that bitcoin prices are starting to stabilize and not very fluctuating. If such a price state, it is not impossible bitcoin will start in use as the official currency.

I am very optimistic that bitcoin can break the $10k mark within the year and I would speculate that bitcoin could recover within the coming weeks.Just patiently wait for it's recovery as this will make a comeback.

I think Bitcoin will never stay the same for $ 8k. At the moment it is just a little bit of a problem, things are going down slowly.

No specific date for that, bitcoin is the main currency we have in crypto. All transaction can be made through bitcoin blockhain so 10k is si easy for bitcoin to maintain, easy to dump, and also easy to pump. Supply is very low so if big whales or rich people attract on btc. Massive pump will happen or if big whales dump btc massive dump will happen too. But for increasing number of users it might cause for pump not dump

It was pretty normal to assume that Bitcoin will stay this way till august. The market is very volatile But a possibility to make a rise is at hand from November. It might be frustrating this time of the year But that's how the market works. You can see it in the market history of Bitcoin. It might take time to recover up to $10,000 but never worry as there's still a lot of room to grow and the people are just beginning to understand what Bitcoin is. Also, people are getting smarter when investing.

just like the crypto world, you can not predict how long the btc price is below 10k usd, but you can invite friends, colleagues and even family to invest in cryptocurency especially btc so that more and more enthusiasts and volume btc then the price will automatically rise above 10k usd.

Maybe it's not for long, because bitcoin prices are rising every day and in the end bitcoin prices will peak. I'm sure the bitcoin price will reach $ 20K early next year.

Stay patient and always think positive! I know your feelings. I am also sad but I should not give up. I believe the market price will return to normal. Let's see until the end of this year. The decline in market prices is due to supply and demand for bitcoins. They are not balanced. There is no one in the world who wants to lose including players in crypto currency. If this price does not go back up, I'm sure sooner or later these digital currency players will work together to arrange supply and demand for bitcoin until it's normal. Don’t give up!!!

Bitcoin can go to $1,000 over the next two years and it's 100% normal. Since so many people share your sentiment, we're probably going to be stuck in a corrective / bear market for quite a while.

I never advise people I know to invest in BTC. I tell them I trade it, and give them more information than they want about the tech. But those people are going to buy the top and sell the bottom, and then blame me for it. Screw that!

Well According to most analysis BTC values can rise above 10K at september but I think the value will grow shortly that is June,somehow I think like that but sometimes analysis is not all true the value of cryptocurrencies really hard to be analyzed.

Could you please stay patient to hold your bitcoin. It will be back to high someday but I'm not really sure when it will be. But you know personally I do believe that bitcoin price will recover in due time. Just hold and wait.

I believe that the time frame for Bitcoin to maintain its value below the $10k mark, would be short. The reason for this is because Bitcoin will experience an uptick in price and user interest once the Lightning Network becomes stable on the mainnet within this year.

Ever since 2018 started, Bitcoin has had a hard time trying to go above the $10k valuation simply because it has experienced regulatory pressure, MT. Gox has been selling its coins, among certain other factors. But, as I said earlier, once network upgrades become active and noticeable on the Bitcoin network, things will get interesting for the original cryptocurrency.

Therefore, Bitcoin will survive under the $10k valuation within a short time frame. Those who believe that Bitcoin will die or will decline to $0 are completely wrong and will regret themselves not having invested earlier when prices were below said valuation. :)

Bitcoin price is in a slow and steady phase and the $10k price trend for some more days is a healthy sign as per my knowledge, rather than going up or down very quickly it should be in a stable price like this. When price start moving ahead it would has a healthy and big price for Bitcoin with the current trend. Experts predict that the Bitcoin price would reach $60000 by end of this year.

Once after crossing the $10000 barrier the price of bitcoin will continue to stay above as a standard value of bitcoin with the regular fluctuations taking place same as that of the present. Probably before the end of the ongoing month or else by the starting week of the falling month the price could cross $10000.

Just be patient on what the market is showing. Not all things will go positive overnight or it can be but the circumstance that it has to take is there.

There are events that it went overnight but the come back and reaction of the market is predictable. By this type of slow pace, I'd love it even more rather seeing it with a rapid increase.

It is very normal, for how long it is impossible to answer correctly. I know you buy and do not like this feeling but need to calm down, it is important at the moment believe it will exceed 10k soon, you will be more comfortable.

Bitcoin survived below $10k most of it's existence. So what is the problem? There is none!
Bitcoin wasn't even 3 months above $10k, of more than 9 years of existence. It is doing fine!!
I think you're just impatient and greedy as hell. If I would have a wish some genie would fulfill me, I would wish for another 12 months of bear and stagnation phase. Just to get rid off guys like you who probably mostly in for a quick buck. Furthermore in times of a crypto winter all the scams and weak projects get washed out while in terms of development and progress most of the exciting stuff happens. So if we stay below $10k until 2020 for instance, I'll be fine with it!

The current price is in good condition, it's not the first time it goes below 10k. One should realize how price goes high and low, how demand works, needs to study the market movement, and the nature of cryptocurrency as a whole. The fluctuation of price can be caused of several factors, one of those is the increasing or decreasing of demand, however I think that the current price is  just a minor correction. During this time, panicking can never help, it makes the situation worst. The best action to take is to embrace the fact that it happens to all of us, it's part of the market condition, and to be brave and relaxed while being creative in the decision-making aspect.

Dude you are not the first one who is bored of this consistent price. There is no exact time for any crypto currency to cross a certain price. It's up to investors and big whales who is actually controlling the markets. At the start of the month I was sure that it will cross 10K but it touched 9996$ and moved back to 8K.

You're absolutely correct, my friend. Bitcoin's price has declined hundreds of times below the $10k mark ever since this year has started. It's important to take into consideration that Bitcoin is an extremely volatile currency, hence it could be either worth a lot of money today, or worth nothing in the future. While this is bad in the sense that many people could lose money if they invest into Bitcoin when prices are high, it is good in a sense that you could make a lot of money just by day trading Bitcoin over the exchanges.

We need perseverance and patience most of all, to be able to see good results in Bitcoin. At first, I was desperate to make money with Bitcoin, but I've eventually learned that the key towards all success is just having patience and faith in whatever you're investing into. I'm sure that in the end, Bitcoin will be worth much more than what it is right now ;D

If your tired seeing bitcoin in the price under 10k your so impatient. You know that is normal to the market sometimes market need to be down then it will rise up again like a rocket. Just be patience and believe that bitcoin will not forever in down price.

Lol. It's not even a question if survival. Bitcoin's had longer time breaking resistances in the past. If you're bored with such a minimal issue as bitcoin breaking the 10k point, better deal with other alts. We probably will be stuck under 10k in a couple of months more.

Correct. Bitcoin is a very volatile currency, hence these downward movements in price are considered normal. Most people are impatient simply because they want to achieve quick profits when that's not the case in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Patience is key towards achieving long term success, and if you don't have it, you can't expect to make profit with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in the market.

Therefore, I'm sure that once all the regulatory pressure, and negative news are over, everything would turn back to normal. What's better is that even if prices are declining, Bitcoin has been improving itself to become capable of scaling to lots of people with the introduction of the Lightning Network. Once this become successfully adopted in our world, then Bitcoin would skyrocket in value leaving us with plenty of money in our pockets. :)

Bitcoin was at 4k dollars about half of year ago. And now everyone saying that 7k or 8k is bad for Bitcoin. Why do you think like that?

Just take a look at the value of bitcoin right now and I'm sure you'll get it already. The value gives advantage to the current investors to experience larger profits that's why I don't want to waste time anymore hesitating if I'm joining in investments in bitcoin or not. It is something that I shouldn't miss on my life and I am very grateful that I was able to know it.

Bitcoin currently surviving at the price of 8.3k dollar and is considering as a stable price in comparison with other times. This stability in the price of Bitcoin is responsible for its demand which is considering in equilibrium that is why the value is stable. After following the increase trend the value reached up to 9.8k dollar and then gradually the value became stable at 9k dollar and now is stable at 8k dollar so Bitcoin has survived here and now it is the time for jump.

I think it's normal because of the big correction after the end of the last year when the price of bitcoin almost hit $20k per coin, and now we see the price of bitcoin is under 10k which is normal for me, i think bitcoin will survive and maybe in 3Q-4Q the bitcoin price will increase again in this year.

When we look into bitcoin price it can survive if we hold onto our bitcoin it can give profit. That's good by not wasting time rather to invest in bitcoin at this stage. We cannot predict bitcoin price but we can decides to wait then hold for our bitcoin.

Every time? Have you been in this market before? The last time I checked, the only time, apart from last year before we made $10k an ATH anyway, the only time this year we have tested the $10k resistance and could not jump past it was on the 6th of May.

At least after hitting the last bottom at around $5800, we made a mark till $11,200 and that was still this year, so I am not sure where you are getting your info from. However, you should remember that in a way, we are still in a downtrend since we are still forming a lower high anyway if you look at maybe the daily time frame, so I guess we just have to wait to see how that turns out.

i think this should not be a question anymore,sine we are investing in a very volatile environment, the answer for bitcoin will be yes, it will survive, but it will depend on the community, if no one would be investing or everyone will be holding and not making any transactions, bitcoin's price will be stagnant, but for the duration, being under 10k usd, seems to be too long, but if you take into consideration things that are happening,bitcoin is being undervalued,I think  we should just let Mt. Gox's issues pass first, before we can say that we had waited long enough, no matter how much we wanted bitcoin to go up, as long as Mt. gox is releasing bitcoin, the price would still be below 10k usd, as for now, just make sure to diversify and see to it that all your investments are on he right track.

Yes, bitcoin will surely survive but we cannot predict how long it will stay below 10K level. The marketprice is dependent on the supply and demand of btc. Also the number of investors holding their coins greatly affect for the rapid growth of btc value.

Lol. As funny as that sounds most time when I hear it, it is just absurd to get to see how people think. I remember reading on this thread where some noobs said it is not fair that only the early adopters are making it huge already; from a noob that just got in yesterday into the market. It is that greed that is affecting a bunch of them from making a good decision and for heaven sake, holding a market for about 8 years is not cupcake. Price of Bitcoin can go over $10000, but will not stay there for long time.  Most likely price of Bitcoin will go over $10000 and stay there forever only in year 2020.

May be 2 more month this year. Then certainly there is going to be huge pump in the middle of July 2018. The upcoming world cup would support its growth down the line. One of the crypto currencies are made especially for the world cup and for betting. The coin is going to rock amongst  other altcoins. This would enhance the bitcoin value grow and fill up the investors wallets with profits.

I don't think many people in general realize how amazing having BTC even remotely close to $10k is. It was worth a few hundred dollars not too long ago. This is an incredibly high price already. And the fact that the market can apparently support a price this high is great really.

Bitcoin is now too big to fail and supported by huge miners all around the world. They won't let it die so easily.

I would predict that the current situation may remain 20 more days and bitcoin may reach minimum $10k by mid of July 2018. So July would be the month for another hike we can see from $7.5k to $10k in 40 days. Unalbe to find out the reason what really caused the price to fall until $7.4k. Though current situation can be wisely used for gathering as many coins as we can, its quite waiting for a big shot by all investors. So hope to see the value at least hit at $10k.

Bitcoin will even survive when it falls back below the $1000 level, which are levels we are quite familiar with, right? The only thing that will happen is that the difficulty drops to compensate for the lower reward value. That's what I consider to be a scenario I can't ever see happen again. The $5000 level might seem safe right now, and I too believe that we will likely never see these levels again, but we can't take it for granted. I have seen this market do crazy things -- crypto coins have in common that when people think the price won't drop lower because it already dropped crazy low, they can and likely will drop lower with enough force behind it.

If history is to be taking into consideration, bull run should start towards the end of the year specifically in September. Last year parabolic rise starting around the same period, I definitely believe that the rallying round this year would be same too. Buy the dip now and smile tomorrow.

The fact is that $10k was and is still the major resistance that bitcoin simply cannot breach at the moment. The main reason is most likely because of the fact that we're still in a major bear market coming off an extremely bullish year of 2017, and there is simply no upward momentum in the market in a falling, bearish scenario like currently.

If you mean how long bitcoin is going to stay under $10k by "survive", I think it could be here for at least a few more months.

5 figures is a psychological barrier by traders and not only that, is a resistance that was unable to be broken through several attempts. BTC isn't going through that until we truly consolidate and start the recovery, which is definitely not now.
