As a side note, I was seriously offended by the deletion of the original thread. They could've just moved it to the off-topic section. On topic or not, a lot of people from both sides took the trouble to write elaborate arguments about religion and atheism. I couldn't even read the last one, and it was pretty long. Non-hardcore scientologists who are currently having their income/wealth routinely audited by the church but would prefer to keep a little something hidden for themselves. The reason I know Scientology is a crock is because if that was true, growing up eating my mother's cooking, I'd have been able to talk to animals by the time I was five years old...
