Title: Selling tokens earned by bounty
Post by: ICOBountyPrograms on May 21, 2018, 06:34:49 PM
Does anyone have a guide how to sell tokens that you've received from bounties?

Please don't say Google, I looked.

Much appreciated, thanks.

There's nothing much about selling your tokens received from bounty,
Firstly, you check whether the token has been listed on exchange,
If YES! then you move to exchange and proceed to sell.
If NO! You have to wait till the token hit exchange.

if you already get your token on the wallet, then you can sell it on the exchanger they have determined by way of deposit from the exchanger. then you can start the sales process

You need to learn how to trade on the decentralized exchanges of Etherdelta and Forkdelta. It is on these exchanges that you can sell your tokens from the bounty or after the completion of the ICO. Information on how to trade on these exchanges very much, even in this forum.

Can be a little tricky when it comes to ERC20 tokens. You can use MyEtherWallet to transfer the tokens. You'll need to know the Smart contract for the token to add it to your list. (This will make sense once you have the screen in front of you) Here is a guide though.

to sell tokens that can be from Bounty or not, in my opinion should be seen how high the price of tokens in the market,
if the price in the market is high enough, I think it's better to sell it
if the price in the market is still low, it is better to hold it first waiting for the price in the rising market to sell it

Its not actually tricky but somehow you would really need up to be careful on inputting important informations if you dont like to lose up our precious tokens and also he would end up mostly on following this thing specially most of coins in the market as of now are on erc20 platforms which mostly launched or traded on DEX first therefore he would able to encounter on trading up on decentralized exchangers and links given was useful to get some ideas about the basics of transfer.

As people above me already mentioned, your best bet is selling your earned tokens on the decentralized exchanges like DEX and Etherdelta, as those are the exchanges that lists tokens first.

I have been taking part in many bounty campaigns, but I do not have a defined strategy whether keeping tokens or selling them. It depends a lot on the project itself. In general, I still tend to sell them and convert in the reference currency, which I consider ETH or BTC.

There is no three ways to this. The other option is to.put it up for sale on the ANN thread (although this is largely discouraged) but I have seen it happen. You can then sell to anyone who is only interested in keeping long-term but you will have to sell below the ICO price since you are choosing not to wait. Its a risk though, because you might sell and the following week it got listed which would have made more money if you had wait. On the  other hand, it might be the nest decision because some of the tokens might eventually not get listed.

As far as i know, first thing you should do you ust go to your wallet. In this case i use myetherwallet for example. And see if your token have value in $ or not. If there's value then you go to coinmarketcap and then search the coin. Example if you have morpheus token then search MITx in coinmarketcap. You can see this beside your token value. Scroll down and hit the market tabs. See where the tokens avaible in exchange. For example in IDEX, you must login / sign up there then make transaction in there. Hope this will help.

1st is wait your coin to arrive at your ethereum wallet it should be erc20 wallet. Then wait for the project to oficially announce where they will be listing their token. Your MEW should have atleast 1usd for paying the gas of your token to the exchanger. Then you should copy well the token adress from the exchanger then send your token from that adress. When the token arrive at the exchanger you can sell it. Be careful on selling your token look carefuly the token adress , if your mistake on sending your token will be lost forever.

for myself I usually ask in the group about the new token of bounty, I ask where I can sell the token because many exchanges can be to sell the token.

If the tokens received are not yet listed on exchanges then there is no way they can be sold. Chill till it is listed then you sell afterwards.

If you get a token from the bounty program. First, of course, see coinmarketcap, if no, ask in some groups. And check the deltabalance. If there are no such tokens, tokens are stored until they are registered in the exchange service.

Yes wait until the exchange is available on the market is very boring especially until 2 or 3 months ahead.
Very rare exchanges are available on the market but ICO will be over in a week, only once I find ICO like this one CREDITS (CS)
I give 4 thumbs up for their team.

If you sell after getting it from bounty the price will dump as many are selling it. but you can wait 1 month for normal price like ICO price.

If you dont know how to trade your tokens you can watch on youtube there are many tutorials that you will easily understand but first pick an legit exchangers for your tokens and check if which exchanger your tokens listed.

Title: Re: Selling tokens earned by bounty

If you'll gonna join in a bounty, you should check first if that token is already being traded in an exchange, big or small because in that way, you'll be able to decide whether if those tokens can be easily traded or if you need to wait for it to be listed in any exchange out there. Most often than not, these details are always included in their Bounty thread or ANN thread. You just have to do some backreading and see if your question has been answered or if it were even asked at all. Details will always be available in their threads. No need to use some special tool or website to check on where to sell them.

Well yes you need google really. Google points you to which website displays which exchanges you can sell your tokens. Or you can go directly to coinmarketcap.com Some tokens have specific exchanges where they are listed. Sometimes, when bounty tokens are released, they are not listed immediately. Sometimes you have to wait awhile before it gets listed. Keep updated from the ann thread or the bounty thread or telegram if they have.

Once it is listed in an exchange, make sure you are registered in that exchange. You may then transfer your tokens to that exchange and trade them with usd (if available) or bitcoin or eth. Afterwards you can withdraw it from the exchange then put it back in your wallet.

It just easy, once you have it check the telegram and see if the the coin is already available in trading site then set for your self a target price which you will take since selling the coin after getting it is not advisable.

Follow any means of medium from the developers of that token for announcements.
1. Wait until the token gets listed.
2. Send your token to that exchange where your token has been listed.
3. Put it on sell order.
4. Done.

You cannot sell your tokens if there is still no market for the tokens you are holding, wait for the token to get listed, or there is also an option to sell it in the marketplace by opening a thread for it, but you cannot sell it at ICO price, it should be much lower to attract buyers.

Mostly if it is an erc20 tokens, you will receive them in your eth wallet, let say you are using my ether wallet, then you need to get the token contract address, ask them on their telegram channel, then once you get that, then you will add it as a custom token in your my ether wallet, when that is done then you are set to send it to the exchanges where it is been traded.

after you received your bounty, the manager or the admin of the campaign will announce the exchanger, there is no guide how to sell it, you just have to follow the steps on the certain exchanger. go explore things by yourself. you are not here to be spoonfeed by other people.

It should be after your token is listed. After you get your token, you will recharge from the wallet to the exchange and trade on the exchange.

But ylu need some eth for the transaction fee

As long as there are some exchanges that has been listed that coin from bounty mate, try to sell it but not that totally, just give some half of it and hold the 50%. We can do also trading that coin mate,  sell all your tokens and wait when its low, then buy again, sell when its high. Its a good way on how to earn profit and also help that coin to gain high volume in daily trading.

If you already got the token all you need to do is waiting for its release on the exchange. Sometimes it can be 1 - 3 months, but sometimes not for long.
If the project already announces their first exchange you can send your token it and exchange it with BTC or ETH.

Its not hard to sell your bounty rewards from exchanges, the main problem is if that particular coin can make it to be listed. I have few coins stuck in my wallet because it turn out to be shit coins, the dev doesnt care anymore and there's no progress in their project thats the sad part.

The IDEX exchange is a great choice.

If you already received your token into your e-wallet like myetherwallet and some erc20 wallet and the token is already in the exchanger you can move your token to the prefer exchanger of the bounty that you participated to sell it and take note you need some ethereum balance in your wallet because it will be the gas to transfer your token to the exchanger.

once it is listed, you can make account on that exchange, transfer your tokens there, and sell it for ether or btc.

Theres really no guide to guarantee that your tokens will even be worth anything first off, but if so pick you a sell point or hold long term, most bounty holders sell immediately. Thus  causing the price to crash, if you can make it through that first month of chaos, and you have a great coin the choice is yours when to sell!!

check first the Exchange which provides token from the bounty. make sure when the token Exchange. If you don't know the location of the Exchange, then how will sell. token input on stock and do the transaction if you want to sell the tokens that you get. but very seldom people want to sell the new bounty results token just entered the stock exchange. many people say the prices are down so much of the price should be.

It is not so important how you have recieved tokens. Important what kind of tokens you have.  Ethereum tokens traded on ForkDelta and EtherDelta,  but price is not good usually. So I can recomend hold your tokens till the listing on top exchanges ( of coins if it will happen)  and maybe you will get something significant in the future.

I think that tokens obtained from a bounty event can be held for a period of time. Maybe it will make you get more wealth, but if you continue to fund, then you can sell it on the exchange, but I think it is not A good choice.

Title: Re: Selling tokens earned by bounty
Post by: macchiato on May 22, 2018, 06:22:41 AM
After you receive the tokens in your wallet for example MEW, make sure that you have enough gas to transfer that token to an exchange site. Make sure you have created an account on your desired exchange site and double-check if your token is being traded there. The gas will depend on how much token you are about to transfer, MEW usually shows the recommended amount of gas. If you don't have gas, you better deposit some because you will need that to process your tokens. Some exchange sites might have confusing interfaces so better be familiar first before clicking to prevent mistakes. Sell your tokens on your desires price once you receive it in your account in that exchange site and wait for someone to buy it.

I agree with you here. It all depends on whether the coin or token has been listed on a particular exchange or not. It is also possible to sell them through decentralized exchanges. You need to do your research op by checking out CMC and other sources in order to find out whether your coin/token has been listed on a particular exchange. Before selling your tokens/coins immediately, think carefully and check if they have long term potential.

To sell the tokens from the signature bonus campaign, you must first remember the address of your wallet if the token is large then you trade in large trading floors, if the token is not enough transaction can sell For those who need it without going through the trading floor or called the black market

You can sell them on exchanges where these tokens/coins are listed.

To check where they are listed go to coinmarketcap and check market tab or you can simply ask token team member to know where these tokens are listed.

Tokens can be sold by two means the normal way is exchanger and the other way is (very less people know about this) and thats buy back program.

Yes, buy back programs are held by the ICO itself and it is done after the exchanger listing however the prices in the buy back program could be 4-5X more than the exchanger price. So you can always check that with the ICO and ask if they holding any buy back program.

To begin, wait until the coin goes to the exchange, then transferred from the purse to the stock exchange and sold there, or sold on decentralized exchanges, or by another procedure.

You just have to wait for the tokens to be listed on an exchange and then you can look up where the coins have been listed. The website will give you information on what exchanges that the coins have been listed on so you can sell your tokens. Someone mentioned the buy back program being done by the ICO and although I have heard about it, I've never actually used it so I can't offer an insight

this is very interesting, do you really do not know how to sell tokens derived from bounty rewards? I suggest you to join an ICO telegram that gives you a Token rewards, read da if you do not find information about the Exchanger then ask the admin. usually the admin will give you a link that will take you to an already registered exchanger for your token. then just follow step by step then your reward token will be sold

It depends. Try to sell when token price makes the first big gain. This is the investors who cannot buy at ICO due to country regulation. If not, better just to hold until the team starts achieving something at their roadmap. If you believe in the project, leave 25-30% for a long term. If not, why you invested your time in this bounty? Assuming you are not the one who managing 10+ bounties at the same time and participating in every goddamn bounty.

Well to sell your token first check it if your token is listed on the exchange then you can sell your token there, better to join in the telegram group of the bounty project or ICO project because you can ask the admin there about listing on the exchange and other information, or you can check it in the ICO website because they announce all the details there.

Their are just a few steps that needs to follow.
1st Try to find oyt if you really recieved a token see that in your spreadsheet.
2nd If you already have, look at it if your token is already in exchange
3rd If Yes, it means it is ready for selling it.

That will be your choice because other people wants to hold it first but it is up to us.

First of all, you must understand the market for cryptocurrency, and secondly, what do you want to know about the value of tokens you get? If your token is being demanded by people, then you can hold it for a while. If your token is falling, then you can choose to sell it immediately!

selling bounty tokens is not much of a big deal it's pretty normal unless and untill you think the program is really good and decide to hold and wait for a better profit and yes you cannot sell them if they are not listed in exchange in that case you have to wait
keep a track off the market if you wabt to get the most out of your token

things that I often do if I get a token from a bounty program, the first step I can do is to find out if my token has entered the exchange by looking at coinmarketcap to find out where in the exchange market that token I have. maybe it can be a simple recommendation that you can practice

Wait for exchange. Eth kokens, if they are not locked, can be listed and traded in ForkDelta.

you must learn how to trade in market first
and check the price
if the price in the market is high enough, sell it
if not, hold it and wait a few month

Yes if you get a token from the first bounties program all you have to do is learn about trading on Etherdelta exchange,
you can sell tokens easily after ICO is complete,

When the token is already in our wallet, it is so pleased. We must know also whether the token has been listed in the exchange or not.
If the token is already listed on the exchange (commonly will be in some exchanges), just pick one of the best exchange in your opinion, then get it into the exchange. It is ready to sell.

Sell it, today's broader market fell once again, has fallen below 8,000 US dollars, the next step is to reach 6,000 US dollars, the market will once again bear, and more people will throw away the tokens in their hands, replaced by cash. Or holding more will lose more.

Before selling the tokens, you must first possess the knowledge of how an exchange works. Check its latest price, then proceed to trade.

You can sell tokens earned through bounty just like you can sell that you bought during pre-sale, crowdsale and ICO. There are series of coin markets where you can sell them inasmuch the coin is listed on them. You can sell on binance, forkdelta, bitnautic and so on.

If you have completed your work and received the reward of the project. You can easily track the exchanges they post from telegram, medium, twitter, facebook, website ... It will be officially published there. Anything is exchanged, you can ask some administrator at the telegram. They are very enthusiastic. don't worry.

Well, selling your token received from bounty campaign it will depend upon to the kind of token you have, because some of then are low value ,,in my experience until now when I see of some ICO exchange will not already progress regarding to thier value that's why I can hold until have a little progress before  it to sell, but if your token are already a great value and profitable based on exchange list, you can sell it.before the price is downfall, because the votalite price is unpredictable and trade is guissing game.

There is no need to rush to sell tokens of promising projects because the price of them will grow over time. I made a mistake too and sold early, but now I hold bounty tokens for at least 1 year.

You can start to learn about trading strategy first. after that, you can start to check that the token is already on the exchange or not. look the price of the token, if the price is high you can immediately sell it, but if the price is low you can hold it first.

What is really asked in this thread, is it how to sell or when to sell?
If it is when, I myself prefer to keep it until the price of the coins rise to a stable price.
If it is how, it depends on the market/exchange where the coin is listed.

Selling token to the trading site is too hard for us as a new here. It's better to ask to the people here who are old on this crypto-world as a trader.  This is a good topic you shared as for me because until now I don't have any knowledge how to trade. The answer of your topic are more helpful to gain more knowledge how to trade.

The first thing is to find out if the coin is listed on exchange and the next thing is to sell in the coin market but if the coin is not listed in exchange then you have to wait.

Basically, you have to wait until your token appears on the list of exchange, that’s the only time that you can sell your tokens. When the token is already in the exchange, I usually sell it right away, but if not, I hold it for a few months and wait for the price to increase.

You just have to keep an eye on the company and see when they are listed on exchanges, as soon as they are listed, you are able to sell if you wish.

If you are you are looking for a new interesting bounty, Unitalent seems like a great one, they are a Swiss based blockchain high skilled freelancing platform (think of Fiver with people who are highly skilled professionals. Link is below and I hope this helps!

When to sell tokens from bounty and signature campaigns is as soon as you see the coins being listed on exchange so you can take out the money that you have made and avoid losses in case the project gets discontinued and there is no longer any way for you to sell the coins anymore.Just make sure that you follow the project so you will know what happens and when it happens.

The first step is deciding which bounties the to join of course. And hopefully, make a selection of decent and promising companies. When you receive the tokens and they are tradeable, you have a decision to make. Sell at the price you are offered on the exchange, or keep them and basically invest the company. I think most bounty hunters will sell their tokens for whatever they get for it, but some of the coins you earned might increase in value a lot in the future, given you picked some proper projects. Following the companies, checking their roadmaps and do some investigation before deciding to sell in my advice. Would be a shame to sell tokens for a penny on the dollar.

First, check where this altcoin will be listed and stay updated when will it be listed because most alcoins are being sold at its highest for on the first 3 days. No one teaches me how to trade and learn by my self by researching feedback with that exchange platform. The best place to learn in trading in youtube and google. A traders feedback or experience with the trading platform is one of the most critical part.

Well best thing you have already received awards on your bounty campaign. It is easy to sell tokens go to the exchange list of that tokens being listed and convert that one to ether and then go to your local exchange convert your ether to real money or fiat money. This is the basic on selling crypto for an exchange to real money. And if you will try to have a transaction but you are not so sure that it will work then try a little amount of tokens to sell.

You have to wait for the tokens to get listed on any exchange then you can start trading but if it's not then you will have to wait for the official report of the developer or through to your bounty manager. There's nothing you can do if it is not yet listed you really have to wait for them, just hold it for a moment.

Exchanges like etherdelta, tokenstore and etc are your best bet first off as they usually see new tokens first, now as far as when to sell, thats up to you either immediatly  before everyone knows they got paid and dumps or hold for atleast a month, I personally hold mine long term in hopes of getting rich one day!!!

I think you should study first on how to trade along side with your bounty hunting. It is because sometimes selling those coins we receive from bounties and airdrops need to be sold right away due to less potential and prices might go down anytime so trading is the only answer with that matter. As what others said, know the exchanges where your tokens are listed then place sell order or you can directly sell to buyers on exchangers. But you must also be watchful on what exchanges you will be selling your tokens either centralized or decentralized.

Hello my friend there are some advices to you: First of all look at coinkarketcap.com and try to find your token, If it was listed on some exchange it' will be at coinmarketcap. however If it's not , you can go at etherdelta.com or forketdelta.com and rty to find your token here, If you can find it here you can manually add token and stard to trade them. Good luck.

first thing you are going to do is to check that coin if it has have a market value in the trading sites. now if it has a market value in the trading sites you need to move your coins from your wallet to that site. for example those site are mercatox, forkdelta, binance etc. take note you must have an ethereum gas so that you can transfer those coins you want to trade. but if your coin dont have market value yet you must wait until they put that one the market sites. thats all enjoy your trading.

Why just not sell half and the other half keep it for better days of the project? if they project has a solid roadmap that can be achived as soon as pobile then why no to keep them as you might earn a lot more in time than selling early probably under ICO price as most of the hunters are selling their coins.

Really it's mostly luck. I always try to atleast wait for it to get listed on a half decent exchange though, unless it's an obvious shitcoin but then I don't generally do bounties for shitcoins.

The sale of tokens collected from the bounty is probably an extreme measure, because it seems to me that you need to sell only if you are in great need of money or for new investments of other projects, it seems to me so correctly.

Do you never use crypto exchange before? First not all the bounty reward have value, some of them need to wait listed on exchange, some of them just listed on small exchange, so price will dump to very low price, so use ethplorer and deltabalances to view your wallet tokens list and total value, don't sold all of them, some potential project need to wait a few month to become popular

Mostly there is always a guide provide by the project which you did the bounty for, on how to add your token to your wallet. but mostly you have to add your tokens to your wallet using their contract address, this will make the tokens to appear in your own wallet then you can send it out to any exchange you want.

It is not automatic that the moment you get your tokens, you can go ahead and sell them right away. First of all, you have to check whether the token has been listed on any exchange or not? Next you check whether your tokens will be worth something or not, before you go ahead and exchange it.

When you've already received your token that comes in bounties you should look first if your token that you've receive has a value in the market or if not you still need to wait for the value when you still waiting i advice to join again in a worthy campaign that the token has value so that you don't need to wait for so long to get your salary.

You can sell your bounty rewards once it is already listed in exchanger. Some token holders choose to hold their rewards  wait for the value to increase more to be more profitable, but some sell it right after it was listed.

If you want to sell your token that you have earned from the bounty then first look out for the exchanges that it has listed and send your token to that exchange from your private wallet. For sending the token you must have Ethereum in your Myetherwallet or Metamask to cover the Gas Limit.

It is not always the case that the tokens you receive from a bounty can be sold immediately. First of all, you have to check whether the token is listed on an exchange or not? If it is listed, you then have to find out the particular exchange it has been listed before you can go ahead to trade.

On sale there is nothing complicated, the most important is to get your tokens for the work done! And then it's up to you to decide whether to sell or not, and of course the presence of as many registered exchanges in your name as possible, so that you can profitably sell the coin at its first listing.

It will depends on where the bounty campaign will register your token rewards because you will not be able to exchange them in all exchange platforms out there specially on its early stage of market listings.  It will vary also from the date they will release it but all in all you just have to follow the steps of each exchange platforms to trade.

Fisrt you have check your token getting from bounty campaign have market to sell or not, maybe needed more one week after received token from bounty campaign listed on market, after listed on market we have the exchange account to sell coin from bounty, we have creat new exchange to sell our token from bounty campaign, after you sell you will get your balance by ethereum or bitcoin, you withdraw your ethereum to your wallet exchange.
