Being merely a 'cryptography nut' isn't proof, unless there's some other evidence in that video.

He's said in video megacoin is nothing to do with him. The video was front page of the bitcoin subreddit in the last month.

OK, he's not behind it, wtv.. I could care less.. He's a rich dude involved in p2p and loves cryptography... I'd say its safe to assume he's behind it.. Not only does he have the resources ($$$$) but he has the coders at his fingertips.. oh yeah... and the government froze all his assets.. I'm not sure but I think its a safe bet that he's involved.

I too would say I have nothing to do with it if i was him facing the legal troubles hes facing.. last thing he wants is someone taking his stash of crypto coins.

I saw an interview where they asked him directly and he said he had nothing to do with megacoin. So why is he tweeting about it? Weird. Maybe he bought a bunch. He could make a fortune if he did.

They wouldn't be able to if he stored them securely enough. That's one of the great things about Bitcoin.

Like conspiracy theorists deal with facts/evidence - they deal with the lack thereof. All you need is a vague reference or association to something and it's "OMG I NEW IT!"  ;D.

Sounds assume. I just bought like 150 Megacoins! Hope the price will rise alot due to the news. I mean he got a lot of rich france who probably might now buy some even if he is not the developer since people trust in him.

I hope. I mean, he has so many people who are just trusting in him an following him this must have an huge impact. I would like to buy more. Not sure how. Probably many people are coming to buy them also the number of coins is limited to 42 mio. and there is a good community development going on.

No serious, I took a look at the Megacoin website and it looks refreshing (compared with other coin sites). Lots of info in my own language. Nice work devs ;-)

Whether or not he is behind megacoin, this shows he has interest in it.  Maybe he will get involved or use Megacoin in tandem with his own Mega services.  This could be the start of something big..

The website is impressive, looks like it is done by seasoned professionals. But really, did they rip it from somewhere?

even if he is not the developer. he likes this coin otherwise he wouldnt load on his tweeter account. I mean, definitely if he uses coins as a payment method he will definitely choose megacoin, others maybe two who knows.

And he has really good business ideas and he like cryptocurrencies, especially in his situation he is going to support cryptocurreny.

I do not get it. Please explain. You are not a spammer if you are telling your opinion. Where is the problem if kimdotcom does not have a problem with it? Probably he thinks its funny invested in it and now his is working with it.

I has probably no time to develop a whole coin his has also other business. So he might like the idea working partly within a community.

I think we really need people buying the coins who are not the big investors who are just speculating with it. We need people who trust a coin.

Megacoin was over $2 several weeks ago, its a bargain at these levels.  With Kimdotcom showing interest and adoption spreading it should easily make new highs.

Are you saying a red logo with an M is ripping? Ok the font is almost the same, but it's a popular font. What about the border? The logo? The background? That's just the logo. I know, when I started I really wanted to by litecoins, but i did not know how. the price was 2 to 3.5 usd. So it took my some time was to unsure and suddently within a few days it went to 40 usdollar.

Megacoin has a only half as much coins and therefore the supply is stopping also faster.

i am also a newbie. Anyways, I asked people if I should invest and all people told nothing negative about megacoin.

I dont forgot the number is smaller than from dogecoin, worldcoins, feathercoins, litecoins etc. why should it not go up. And the tweeter news are not old. This is what Kimdotcom posted. I he did not like it why does he post about it positive news?

Also, up to now it was the best dicission I could do since all other coins are decreasing alot and megacoins price is rising.

lastley, I think it would not have been possible for newbies to reach this high, since there where amounts of 2 btc worth of megacoin and someone bought them up.

got it. news are old. but that kim dot com posted it on his twitter account was only today. I thought it could be kind of a secrete message, otherwise is he going to post such things.

anyway for now i am happy since it is the best investment for now, all coins going down except megacoin. and i think it has a huge potential. lets hope for the best

What is happening with Megacoin?

It has been a few months since there has been an update for the coin. Kimoto the developer of Megacoin created the increasingly popular Kimoto Gravity Well. We need more people like Kimoto in altcoins though perhaps he has got fed up of the trolling, it is harsh to see some of the treatment he got when he is one of the few innovators in this space.

I would not admit to creating the coin if I was him either knowing everyone wants money from me.
