Hey guys. My id was verified by John K during block erupters group buys, I make my identity no secret. My real legal name is arklan uth oslin, phone number 3109048610, Google the name and it's all me.

Seeking quick loan of 1btc for two reasons. First I'm between jobs and down to 4 USD. Despite having a new job set up, I need money to make it to the paycheck.

Additionally, I just locked my keys, in the ignition, in my car. I'm worried someone will see it as is in a store parking lot and bash a window and take it. I need to resolve that ASAP. I tried the coat hanger trick to no luck.

Pay back in the amount of 1.1 Btc (or maybe cash equivalent if the price explodes or implodes?) ASAP, which would be no more then 2 months, probable only 3 weeks or so.

Anyone? Lower amounts welcome to discuss.

Valid point. Let's see... The only assets I have are my (locked) car, my miners and pc, my phone (galaxy s4 owned outright), and various books and such.

I can say I put the phone up, but unless someone literally holds it in escrow, it's still just my word. If your worried I got hacked, that isn't changed by saying something...

I've taken a look at Arklan recent posts and there doesn't seem to be any major difference in writing since December 2013. (I haven't searched further) So, I don't think the account has been compromised recently unless the hacker was wise enough to disguise himself and write almost identically. Nothing raises any red flags as of yet for me and the story sounds like a genuine thing people do, my question is don't you have any spare keys you could open it with?

Your car is registered, I suppose? Drivers license, and if needed ask police to prove you own the car.
Second, so that people don't think your account got hacked, sign a message with your BTC Address.

Even if he did sign a message with his BTC address it wouldn't prove anything because that could of been hacked too but its a start I guess.

Ok you live in MD ( at least by the area code) so your required to have insurance ( or pay some rather nasty daily fines)

break the passenger side window and get your keys .. then file  call your insurance company in the am and tell them " my window was broken " they'll replace the window and wont charge you a dime ( 9 out of 10 insurance companies do this ) and doesnt raise your rate at all

Update: starting my new job on Wednesday. Had to buzz about town and get some permits since it's driving work and such.

I get paid bi-weekly, which will mean my first check will be the 7th of March. Once I get that I'll have about half of the amount owed ready to repay, give or take.

Multiplying concurrent loans is about as bad. Are you sure you cannot wait for the first one to be repaid before you need the next one?

I sincerly do not beleive you're trying to scam, I'm replying 100% to try and help you, here. I've always beleived loans are not a healthy solution when survival is at stake. Loans are for investments. Not survival. And even then, I'm not sure I'm happy with that.

I, at a point (after going down the spiral too), made the choice to NEVER borrow anything from anyone, suffered from that, but recovered. And sticking to that "way of life", now. i'm no fan of loans or credit in general - i bought my car in cash and don't have any credit cards right now. i intend to keep it that way. i'm just broke, basically, without enough cash on hand to have food and gas to get to and from work until i get the paycheck. once my pay starts to come in though, i won't need any loans. indeed, i'll be able to start saving some again, after paying this back, obviously.

At what date are you paying back the first loan? And if you are runing that low on money how are you going to repay the first loan without being able to get to your job because you can't afford food & gas?

The repayment of the original loan is due 2 months from Jan 30, that being March 30. I'll have been paid for 3.5 weeks by then, with the third check due the following Friday. Assuming Btc doesn't double by then, I should be more then capable of paying the original 1.1 Btc by the end of March then some.

Right now I don't have rent to worry about, so my expenses aren't that major. The car thing was a minor fiasco, and there were unexpected job costs... For example, I still need to take a defensive driving class. That's $25, work is 20 miles away, so gas gets eaten, etc.

Obviously if I can't get to work, I have several big problems, not just repaying debts.

Maybe you should approach multiple people to lend small amounts that way if you can't repay soon for what ever reason one person won't be missing 0.5 for a longer time than expected.

They can't legally make you do that, unless you signed something.  You were their employee working their equipment on their time.  It's a business loss for them.

I've contacted Arklan, I'm not pleased with the news I have received when the payment was suppose to be fulfilled, however I know things can happen and I've approached Arklan with a proposal which I think may help him with the payments, that is instead of paying in full in one payment we have multiple payments each month which consist  smaller amounts.

I'm disappointed that I wasn't informed of this news earlier.

As we approach the end of the month, an update.

I'm about to start a new (hopefully lasting) job at winco foods. That will bring stable income and thus, I can get this loan paid. As it stands, however, I'm unable to meet this month's payment of 0.2 Btc.

I'm not sure when I'll start or when I'll get paid... I've done the background check and drug test and am just waiting on them for results and the go ahead.

@arklan, you should offer your account on bitcointalk as collateral for time being. That way the lender can at least make signature advertising income off your account while you continue to default on payments.

It's actually a good idea, since you are a Senior member, you can participate in a signature program such as the one of PrimeDice (the one I have now).
You use their signature, and you get paid per post you make. It's a good idea to help repay your debts.

With something trustworthy like PrimeDice it's basically a guaranteed $0.50 per constructive post. I don't encourage signature advertisements as they produce a lot of spam, but if you can make good contributions to the forum then you may want to consider it to help pay back the loan.

But for a Full Member, won't give you much in pay, because of course, higher ranked members would get paid more.

I think it depends on if you're in Urban or Rural area in the U.S. I've went to a few Rural libraries without (Don't ask.). However, in the Urban area, %100 of them have Internet depending on where you stay.

I'm more rural. That's why I don't have Internet... Only thing I can get us cell phone based and costs a fortune, so I'm having to wait and pay other bills first.

actually, i called my insurance first. they have roadside assistance, but my coverage did not, and adding it wouldn't have helped the immediate situation. as for AAA and such, all require being a member or AT LEAST charge ya something, which i couldn't afford without the loan.
