I doubt it will be take another 800 days as It's very likely with LN being on active development, a lot of services starting to accept bitcoin and more people are being exposed to bitcoin.

A lot of people will come out, talk and predict a price increase/decrease but the sad truth is that no one knows. If you're true a believer in the technology and you're not really in need (like going to starve to death)e, you will hold but If you're just here for the money, the first thing you will do is panic sell.

That is why I do not force people to invest, especially those who I know needs money to support their family. I would prefer them to find a job than to suffer dips and let them wait until it rise again and starve to death.

I do not believe this. No one knows the future so we can't predict it exactly. But what I know for sure bitcoin will raise again but no exact date or time.

Past is past and although I also believe that history may repeat itself but it's not likely going to be exactly the same including the range of time on how long it happened.

He didn't mentioned on how was adoption were different from 2013-2014 from 2017-2018 and for the 800 days that we have to wait. Things are changing quickly so I also doubt that we have to wait that long.

It will take faster, go look at McAfee predictions or any other crypto guru. I will tell you it will be less and mark my word. Why do I think it this way? Because back then in 2013 you had way less people who invested their money into bitcoin and overall popularity is pretty low. But looking at it now and with comunity growing. We have great news everyday and it only takes one small run up and we will cross that 20k again. 800days is just to much for the moment we are in now I expect in less than a year.

In most cases this thing would most likely to happen into an individual. Telling out predictions on whats ahead isnt really appealing on my side which i dont even know on where they do get those presumptions towards on possible price movement in the future. They do come into future years?  8)
When you are investor its not bad to hope for price increase to make profits but on what we are engaging here is that this new tech do really have the potential. Minding off prices anytime doesnt really give any positive impacts to you.

I think the prediction of maurice boelens is not necessarily 100% correct, because he only analyzes and predicts that we have to wait another 800 days, sometimes bitcoin can go up and recover in just 2-3 months but this we can make as a lesson in investment order we are not careless and can make a loss.

Actually, predicting the exact number of days or any exact information about the things that can be happen in the future is maybe unbelievable because I believe that no one can predict exactly what will be happen in the future. However, we can only hoping for that such prediction will happen. All of us hoping that btc value will pump again and who know it will happen much earlier and we never expected.

There are too many so-called analysts trying to predict the future of bitcoin not because they have a special kind of knowledge but mostly because they want to take advantage of people, should their prediction coincide with any price rise or decrease. Anyone at all can sketch a random graph and give it some weird explanation. I believe bitcoin solely depends on the holders' emotion at any point in time. These graphs usually don't reflect what actually happens on the field. Even true Experts fail woefully sometimes trying to predict the next landmark price of bitcoin.

It seems to be a very exaggerated speculation and not realistic at all. Assuming that such speculation would happen, cryptocurrency market might experience a bad effect in the crypto market. However, I think that this huge current dip will not extend that long and will be back again in the coming months to come. People investing with bitcoin should have patience and should not over react in the current situation. The best thing right now for the btc investors is to hold their btc's as this is now under the adjustment period.

This is a very erroneous analysis of what Bitcoin trend is all about. Bitcoin is trading everyday. You cannot use profit and loss graphical analysis that a stock market nerd would use to analyze stocks. Bitcoin I repeat is not a stock.

for the millionth time the 2013 bubble and bear market was not the first and only one that bitcoin experienced. i don't know why some people like the OP is quoting are so think in the head that they fail to figure this out on their own! 2013 thing was already 4th or 5th one that we had and it was the longest. before that we had even bigger bubbles and corrections but none of them lasted that long. so just taking one trend and making the decision based on that is foolish enough not to mention that history does not repeat when it comes to a dynamic market that is always changing.

I don't think it is possible to truly predict the future of cryptocurrency, as it can be influenced by many external factors that don't repeat in a cyclic manner. Like other people have said, we need to be patient and not sell at the first sign of a dip.

800 days is too long. It may be ideal for some very good places to come, but I do not think it will take so long to arrive at numbers like 20k. the first recovery will be done as soon as possible.

I do not think that it is accurate. Although if it is true then to be honest 800 days nearly two years and two months, it is too long and I think many people who are semi interested in Bitcoin and crypto currency will lose their interest and put their money on other markets.

800 days is very too long of experiencing dip and i doubt it because I know that we cannot tell anything that exactly what happen in the future. We only have a prediction that means there is no assurance and only speculation that we have. It is possible to become true or it may not. Dude, a lot of guys made a lot of chartings and made different predictions about when btc will recover or if it will continue to decline and these guys were all proven wrong when the timeframe they've given expired. You yourself can make chart analysis and that would as good as this guy's analysis is.

I stopped listening to such arguments back in 2017, i do still read them but most of them are pure junk with 0 value, because some people really think they can predict bitcoin price in long term using some technical analysis for it, well it doesn't work all the time and definitely won't guarantee that you're right.
I don't think that bitcoin need that much time to grow again, most likely we won't see new heights in 2018, but for sure we will se them in 2019.
The whole crypto industry is becoming bigger day to day, and comparing market to past years really doesn't work that well today.

800 days? I think it's too long for bitcoin to get back to the best price, it's just a false prediction because everyone would never think that it would take that long, bitcoin will recover and rediscover its best price in the near future.

haha actually the person is just giving motivation for himself because I see that person does not have a definite effect for bitcoin. so it will not have that effect so much.

first of all there is absolutely no reason for this year to be anything like 2014 and the trend of those years because the market is nothing like that time.
secondly just because some trend happened once it doesn't mean it will happen again. other times it was a lot shorter than this and if anything the most repeated trend should repeat again in which case this downtrend should only last about 6 months and nothing more.

and finally it is just my opinion that this time things won't last on downtrend that long. we will see a reversal soon. in fact the more dumps that come and the faster we go down the faster we are getting close to that bottom which will reverse things upwards.

There's really a chance for btc to pump up by that time but saying that nothing good will happen within that period of time then I do not believe in you. I mean, the probability that only bearish trend will exist within that time is so small because the lines on the market chart are naturally fluctuating from time to time so it seems impossible that it will wait very long time just to soar high.

We all know that this is just a prediction and it has more reference value. 800 days for an upward trend is quite long. Because, the movement and trend change in the crypto market is very fast. I am still optimistic about the future of bitcoin this year. 15k - 25k still have the ability and many surprises in the next 3 months.

If the guy is an expert but i have knew more famous experts than him saying that Bitcoin price will reach the ATH of $20,000 again this year therefore who is telling the truth now? There is no gurantee that it will start recovering fast in those 800 days. But if everything goes right , it should reach at least $50000 in next 800 days according to me.

What is 800 days? Every body will always say anything they like. What is the parameter that warrants this prediction. What is the market movement has to do with 800 days ? Sometimes I get frustrated by insinuations on the forum.

I think that's not going to happen because that such long period of time of suffering from downfall is not a normal flow of the system. It's never been happen that there are much of time needed before we can experience pump again. Maybe there will be something wrong if that is happen. In the normal flow of this system, there are always a few number of pump days before the month was ended so supposed to be when we didn't experiencing decrease within 800 days that means there's a big problem behind this.

That is only prediction. No one can tell the movement of the crypto market. It would still depends on the investors on how much volume they are going to invest. It could be earlier than 800 days.

It makes me feel uncomfortable, I don't think a bear market still need to continue such a long time, because the LN has been in the application, then the LN will change the actuality of the bitcoin, the bitcoin will reinvigorate the bull market.

I think this is quite joking. Because no one can predict the future. It can not be said whether it will take 800 days or 8000 days or just 8 days. If anybody said this I will say he or she is not fit for this platform. If he says that the chart of the past says this then it should be remembered that nothing will follow the same trend. I think this is joke. No one can predict when will bitcoin goes up and down. Nobody can say that bitcoin will rise again in 800 days or 80 days or whatsoever. What we can and should do is to hodl and believe that bitcoin will increase very soon.

Last couple of days is a good indication that the bear season might be over. If bitcoin overcome the $7K barrier, I think more people will FOMO again and will kept the price to rise in the next coming months. We might see it going to $10K around August-September if investors slowly pouring their cash again.

Its their prediction way back to their time. This is 2018 and now many are aware of the existence of bitcoin. The speculations and prediction might vary in different aspects. Maybe we can experience it it much earlier time or we should wait not just for 800 days. Previously, there are many experts who guess bitcoin price will rise or bitcoin price will recover and in fact also bitcoin price decreased. So, what do we expect from a prediction? to equate the current bitcoin price movement with bitcoin price movements in the previous year's does not make sense.

True, the system is very complicated. everyone can only predict the price because all they know is profit and money, this is the real issue of Bitcoin.
