While its trading on coinbase may be another month or two away but it is bullish for ETC in coming
months. Good time to get some ETC I think.

Thanks for this update man, I am very happy to hear that. Ethereum Classic already moved up a little bit an I am happy that I never sold my ETC in the last couple of months! And I will not sell now, I will hold because I expect some more great news!

Coinbase bought the top on ETC when the aidrop was announced.

I've been following telegram chats for experienced traders . Almost every day they were talking about the pump of ethereum classic but there is no signal of pump . Even if coinbase added ethereum classic that will not happen absolutely nothing .

As bitcoin cash was listed on coinbase, ethereum classic had to be listed as well, I have been expecting this but I see no future with etc.

This is very interesting. Ethereum classic is not a good coin for me. It has no future and already overvalued.
Eth is the real ethereum and most of ethereum developers are working on ethereum not the classic one.
Developer power and community power is important but maybe they know some details about etc which we do not know.

I believe in investing in ETCs, these are long-term coins and worth saving for some profit, ETC has a real prospect and someday it will be a giant coin

There were legitimate reasons for the fork. Philosophical reasons.

People expect XRP to be added on coinbase but this is unexpected. I guess they want to surprise people about what they are doing everytime.

Sure its time to accumulate this token. I wasn't a supporter really which is why I didn't have but now that its there in coinbase, I will start collecting bits by bits.  Won't ETC also decide to be POS this year?

That plus the Binance announcement really got the coin going up.
Too bad I didn't get into it. Expect a dump now. Like all other coins that get pumped cuz of news.

I know the folks in Coinbase are a bunch of lazy bastards who love to add forks because it's easy...but still, what a dumb move. Why would they add a shitcoin clone that no one uses when there's actually a lot of innovative and well accepted cryptocurrencies on the market?

Maybe some people inside Coinbase are holding countless bags of ETC and they're now waiting to dump on the newcomers FOMO buying right now...that's the only reason I can think of.

At first ,thank you for the news update.It will be the good news for people using Coinbase wallets.Previously Coinbase had Bitcoin wallet,Ethereum wallet and Litecoin wallet.By this we can trade three different crypto currency in a single Application.Recently the Bitcoin cash is added and Ethereum Classic will give more power to Coinbase.

We don't know if they are holding a lot of useless fork coins like ethereum classic.

But that's a possibility that they are going to wait for these hype makers to ride on their adoption so they can dispose their coins.

This is good move from Coinbase team. Few weeks before I have found the news says that Coinbase gonna take the ERC20 tokens in their exchanges but many people took that they wanna accept in their regular based wallet mate.

Now this ethereum classic. Since this link has been shared from their official blog we do not need to worry about that buddy.
We may find the Doge and Ripple also in the coinbase wallet.

I think this is overdue, Coinbase seems to be very loyal to Ethereum, I don't know why but I think it is likely going to boost the ETC classic development team, why they decided to pick this I don't know but I feel because it is not a security because it was just airdrop to Ethereum holders, which is a fork of it

It is a good news for both the etc holders and coinbase users but i think they should have added support for the ethereum based tokens first because they were promising about this in their previous newsletters and now suddenly we have seen the news about etc, lets hope erc 20 tokens will also be added soon to the coinbase wallet.

This is obviously good news for ETC. I have read that Coinbase may continue adding coins gradually. I think we will see them expand to include many of the top coins that meet their criteria.

However, I have heard that they do have some strict requirements for what coins they add that includes only decentralized coins. If they hold to this, that eliminates several coins such as Ripple.

Its really up to their decision on what would they add up but this news would probably always been positive which we can already extent to make use coinbase in terms of those selected coins into their service.Same as yours i have heard such news on adding up erc20 tokens but in my side it would be just too much if they would add up even more?

Adding Doge and Ripple? Then best or high probability would be on Ripples side because we do know whats the recent standing of this coin.

this is good for ETC holders. Price will pump more in next months. we were expecting for ERC20 tokens but ETC will be listed , this is a surprise .
Coinbase well known exchange so there will be maybe new investors, i mean hopefully .

Ethereum classic holders will be pretty much happy after hearing this news.I think addition of coinbase will take ETC few levels up.But i don't want to FOMO.

Lol, ETC is for the moment trading at a low price. A couple of months ago (with the Callisto hardfork), the price went up to almost 40$...
It is good that Coinbase added ETC, hopefully they will add some more coins soon.

this announcement made the price of classic ethereum rise in the last 24 hours. the steps taken by the coinbase have been widely predicted, and it is true that coinbase added eth classic to their platform. can't wait for another announcement from coinbase

This is good news to the investment brothers and holds the ETC. Once cryptos are listed on Coinbase, they are potentially very large cryptos. So if you want to make a profit from ETC then I recommend buying ETC at some low trading floors to earn ETC at the cheap price then hold to ETC to the time crypto is listed to Coinbase.

Nice to heard for the ETC  this an opportunity those have plan to invest  in ETC coins possible to increase their price because they can get support from the one of the most popular coin site platform.

Yeah its quiet dump compare to January this year so basically this is just a bouncing play after a big dump. People should understand the history of the price and don'y be FOMO, but this move can really boost the price to rise again. Goodluck to all the hodlers of this coin and I also hope that coinbase will accept more great altcoins.

Ethereum Classic has a lot of potentials and it's quite a good sign to be listed by coin base. This announcement has kept ETC resistant to the downward trend in the past few hours. It's not too late to buy I guess.

just yesterday i said that i was very scheptical about ethereum classic and it's future and today it comes out that coinbase will add it to his exchange! that's fantastic, in a different period  there would have been a huge pump but now is a suffering period so we saw just a 30% pump..i think that there will be a new pump when the fomo kicks in.

They added it very late, I don't think it will affect the price much in the upward direction.

This is good news for Ethereum Classic holders. But who really is holding ETC anyway? and why?

I'd appreciate if anyone can tell my why ETC is a good investment when in reality their progress in developing their blockchain is nothing compared to what the real ETH is already doing. To me, this is a slow blockchain that isn't really being developed anymore.

Actually, those who are holding ETC will be very happy to receive this news, now ETC is actually an official altcoin store on Coinbase not store on MEW anymore. The fact that ETC is officially listed in Coinbase will make the exchange rate of ETC increase in the next time. So you should invest in ETC right now!

This is a positive gains for ETH Classic I think this is time to buy more until the price is not yet high. BUT in over-all eth classic is still attractive and good choice of coin to hold  my speculation price on eth classic in the near future is more likely to Hit $80-$100 dollars in due time>

I know there are reasons for the fork because they are longing to upgrade the current state problem that is facing, so that it will be able to solve it.

The question is why they have to list those forks, we know that most of the people here doesn't like forks.

It is gettinf listed at a very bad time, if there is a bull market we could see it at much higher prices. ETC is for me long term store or value.

Making btc to 10K can be possible to happen since the price of the current state of market change was definitely unpredictable. We might be experiencing quick price increase as signs of bull run to happen further. I already seen it three time this year several past months had revealed, and based on my record in the graph chart which I made personally that was an intense signs. And now the price dipped so much, so as experienced really matters this is a recurring scenario that also proven occurs last year’s quarter months.

To me, personally I don't know why ETC was picked over other projects, because there are some projects in the space that are not on the exchange, I read somewhere that RIpple team are dying to get there token listed on the exchange, the fact the ETC is a fork is an added advantage here because it is not a secuirity, it was just that the team need to start delivering real ork and give Ethereum a good fight for its money

Well it was about time for that to happen i guess that coinbase realised how bright is the future for ethereum classic ;D On the other hand listing wont come anytime soon,at least for few months so this news doesnt really change anything short term

I wonder if it will slowly pump as we get closer to the listing date. As it is not available yet there won't be a massive pump right now but when the time comes there will be a massive spike on the charts from those that only trade on coinbase.

It's an excellent coin for long-term. Big summit, wallet, full IOT compatibility, great team. I hold some ETC for year and think that they make all what they want. Imho ETC is one of the most reliable coin

In coinbase,we will found very few wallet.They are Bitcoin, ETH, Bitcoin cash and Litecoin.This coins are trusted cryptocurrency. Addition of Ethereum classic shows it was a trusted cryptocurrency as compared to remaining altcoin in the market.You have to hold after the dump in price.

Nice info and update news. I am not worry about coinbase, i think coinbase is good exchange market. But i worry about ETC, how about it's future ? because i have a lot of them to hold. I hope that coin will to moon and make me rich from it.
