I wonder if I should sell now or hope for the bulls. Looks like it's way too late to sell...

Maybe you should try to hold your balls up since there's still hope that bitcoins could pump again, remember it has so many supporters and maybe some of them afraid to go on it since their are existing bad issue of certain exchange flaws and side problems for now but I believe the quarter 3 and 4 will be the good time for bitcoins and let's hope for the best on it.

This year really hard to predict the future possibilities. But holding is the good for your future investment because raise and fall are happen in anytime so you should hold for long-term then only it will make profit. My suggestion is you can analyse your coin portfolio automatically you will find the right way.

Well what do you think? It is hard to give you an analysis since it is not recommended for anyone to listen to others especially to someone you just see posts suggestions online. But from the way I see it. Bitcoin is pretty weak right now as even the bulls didn't have enough power to make BTC stay above 7,000$. Thinking about reversals at this point is also not possible as the volume is pretty heavy on the sell side. There are no signs that someone is buying them back up. Sadly shorting it now won't be a good option but it depends on where will BTC fall or if will still fall.

The market does not look like it is ready to stay above $6500 as it is trying to want to go down lower, but the truth is that, we can all be wrong. It is a market, nothing is predictable, we may experience a bounce from here, but the only thing I can say from what I can see is that, it just seems the bulls or smart moneys are not even ready to enter the market yet.

Secondly, it would be a bad advise to tell you to start selling as you will be in the worst gambling position ever if you do now. Best bet, look forward to the lows and buy more to gain a better position in the long run. Also, if you know what to look out for as a trader, breaking below $6400 may drive us fast to as low as $5900 and even lower as the case may be, but you should not be taking any trading action if you are not one.

Just have this, the market is so unpredictable and a lot is uncertain, so you really want to be careful most especially when the best time to make selling decision as a trader or investor has passed.

This is an opportunity to enter the market for the long run if you haven't already, with prices at so low. I would believe that most experienced bitcoin traders would agree with me on that. Prices probably have not yet seen the bottom, but we're defintiely very close to that bottom at the moment.

If you have existing positions, I wouldn't bother selling. You're gaining nothing by selling right now.

That's why I always say that you should be expecting to hold onto your coins as a long term investment, when you do buy in. It might bounce right up from that point, but it could also dip briefly below $6000 if the support isn't there. In my opinion it's not a good time to sell. There is a good chance the price will stay above 6k and recover at least slightly in the near future. I'd be more inclined to sell at $5500 than at $6000 as strange as that may sound.

I would assume its too late to the party to join now with much expectation.   Arriving here would be like a coin toss between the two possibilities, where as a good trading situation would be odds in your favour and you are just following a good trend up or down.
Here I think BTC price is very uncertain, I do think it can rise from here and probably should as there is no great negative volume but its uncertain till that happens

Specific prices doesn’t matter as bitcoin can have either of both,, lower or higher 6500$ in time.. What the best to consider is your self control on how or when is the time for you to say “enough”,, that is totally a normal,, newbie or inexperienced users or traders.. I have been held Bitcoin, since it was $2000, later $19,000, and now it's $6,000, it turns out I'm a big foolish.

Nothing is predictable now bro and selling now is actually going to be a mistake or not. That is one thing you should know as you are simply just going to be gambling. Since you have been holding all these while from the top, I would advise you should be looking for a way to buy than a way to sell as that would put you in a better position than trying to gamble the market.

This however is in an investor’s point of view not in a trader's point of view which I expect that if you are not a trader, you should not even be trying to be one at all. Because, traders always look for short term changes very keenly whereas holders or otherwise known as investors will bother only long term trends.

you are correct, it is too late to sell but also we don't know whether price is going lower or not. nowadays drops are not happening naturally anymore. there is a lot of things going on, a lot of dumps and a lot of manipulation while the investors are staying out with their money and waiting for things to settle down before they start reinvesting.
this is one of those times that no matter what you do, in the end you will be burned.

If you incur a loss when selling at a $ 6500 price the option to sell is the wrong way. To get profit in bearish trend is very difficult, you can wait and hold until the price back up above $ 7000. I think it will be temporary, next week bitcoin price will go back up. This is the lowest bitcoin price in the last few months, many people already thought this was a good time to buy and would make the market go back to green.

In a bearish trend to gain a profit from buying you must predict each time the trend relents and we rise up, it should rise more quickly at that point and your buy is rewarded.    Predicting each level of support to buy into would be the advantage gained there.   It is harder to go against the prevailing wind and still advance but its possible, in a bear trend the spikes up are more extreme I have read where as a bullish trend the progress up is more regular, slower.

We can still rebound, and I still think we will but man, it's looking pretty grim right now.  As far as what OP asked--whether he should sell--I think that's ludicrous unless he bought well below the current price.  Nobody makes money buying high and selling low and now is probably the worst time to sell for a lot of people here.  I say hold onto what you have and wait for the recovery.

But it is the prefect time to buy bitcoins as the price have touched bottom and is surely isn't gonna fall below this price range so buying a few bitcoins at this price is surely gonna profit you. But the people doesn't understand this and buy bitcoins only when the bitcoin is trending in the news and that only occurs when the price have rose, so looser buy when the thing is all over news and the wise person buy when only a handful of people know about that thing.

It is hard to predict, but I see many people analyze it could fall below 6500 even 5000, so I've to sell at 7200 and will probably wait at 5000 to buy. But if prices persist long enough in 6000 I will buy it.

Some have predicted this before and I not believe but then in this June the price drops to the value that he forecast ,we must be optimistic dont get carried away panic sales like now hold better than lose money but now it's 6400 difficult bring plunge to further

Dont sell now just hold it, because if you sell now its great loss only. Dont get panic about current situation, with hope and patience wait for some more time. May be this is the last worst dump for this year. So lets wait for some more months hope the price will increase in upcoming days or months. Hold the bitcoin till it reaches high value. According to present market the price struggles to reach $6500. But in future surely it will cross the price hope so.

6500 USD price was recently entered and I think it will go back to the 7500$ it was trading last week

Hey again it fall around 300 USD and more today. I want also bitcoin to reach that value but we cannot assure that this will be happen for sure mate. When the bitcoin value dumped most of the people being in the crypto currencies market means what is the actually trend we can see.

It's too late to sell if you bought during the time when the price was quite higher than $6,200 <-- today's price. I don't want to be part of your regret if you start to decide that you are going to sell.
But let's reverse the answer, why not start buying instead of thinking to sell it? You said that it's too late to sell but it's never too late to buy as part of your wait for the bulls, this can be the best opportunity for you to buy if you can't decide on your own.

I think it is going to touch 5000$. As in just 24 hours it has reduced so much that it has touched 6300$. In this worst situation whole market is going down rapidly. Everyone is selling I think you should wait...

If you do not need your money now then why you want to sell it. Wait for some more time the price of bitcoin will increase and when you see the price at a level when you feel that you are now at profit then use them and if even in that time you do not need money for your expenditure then do not sell your bitcoin because with the passage of time the price of bitcoin will increase.

No one knows what the market can ever bring next, it is so highly unpredictable, anything can happen at any time and even though it looks we are still in a huge downtrend, anyone of us could end up wrong. It looks like we are going below 6k really soon, the RSI levels cooled off a little bit, the bounce was really small and no follow through, bears are looking really strong. We could see a strong bounce eventually after we break below 6k just like we have seen the past 2 times.

Bearish trend is prolonged, it is not difficult to give a decision between selling and buying when the situation is the bearish trend. Today the price of bitcoin is very low, so dont sell your bitcoin now. This is not the right time to sell, just hold the bitcoin and wait for some more time. Because the market will recover soon. Selling at dip doesn't make you money unless you bought it very low. Bitcoin did stay above $6500 after falling at $6K but it doesn't mean we are out of the woods yet. Most of the "speculators" is pointing that it can still go below $6K, so it doesn't look good at the moment. It looks like the bears are still very strong so the bulls can't do anything but to waited it out and look from the outside.

There's no news that will temporarily halted this bears which is kind of scary for all of us. But hey, we have been is this kind of situation, maybe tomorrow or the next day we will bounce back or it may go down again below $6K. Sure, why not it can. Even though many traders have lossed faith and many have sold off because they couldn't wait I still believe that bitcoin will pass this price within the appropriate time. We should all learn the previous time, about few months ago when bitcoin was lower than $7k and was in $6k for long. Many people feared and sold off but then the proce moved to $9k and they all rush to buy again. This is not how it suppose to be.

Hate to write this but I highly doubt that Bitcoin will stay above 6500 dollars. I know that selling my Bitcoins is a bad idea, though. Why would you sell at a dip, it probably won't even make you money, or at least return them. If I have the guts I would without doubt a hundred per cent buy some Bitcoins right now. I personally see it like this, Bitcoin will fall even under 6000 dollars, but for a short period, maybe like a week or even two weeks and then sky rocket. But that is just my personal opinion, I've read a couple of posts which share the same opinion as mine. It all depends on us at the end of the day, we are the ones which can make a change.

Of course yes bitcoin price right now is about $6,700 and it's still continuing to recover. It's not time to sell bitcoin it's still very low you will regret to sell it right away. Don't be doubt what bitcoin showing right now it's normal.

It should ideally be above that range only and keep buying as in no time we could easily find btc rising upwards and recovering all the dips that has taken place in past months. May be one good news and we see btc rising by 1k or  2k just in a day and we are all set then for the 10k mark.

for me probably there's no chance bitcoin can hold that value ($6500 ) .but it will not go further either what i mean it will not go under 6k , which is I'm still believing that this value still the bottom on this bloodbath. 'cause it's been a weeks now since the price swing back to this stage and there's no changes which is it always up and down on this price,  so probably it will start to bull run again soon, if i were you just put more patience on it if you want to recover your loses on it 'cause selling is a big mistake to be honest especially if you have huge loses.

Exactly. You had many chances to sell at double of the current price and even short time chance to sell at triple of the current price.  What was the reason that you did not sold is only know to you.  If you needed to rid of your Bitcoins you should. 

Now. If you can hold a bit longer, I am 100% positive there will be price of Bitcoin over $6500.  When? No one knows that. But time will come.  It is hard to suggest you what to do when we dont know when you need to sell your Bitcoins.

I wonder too if you’re desperately needed money for even consider on selling at this price. And I think you’re not late in changing your strategy at this point. There’s a place for stupidity, but investment is not one of them. It is not greediness to ask or wait for more as it wasn’t wrong at first place. Watching the declining volume and price it seems to me that a big move is approaching, definitely bears have the advantage right now, if it happens we are certainly going below 6k. We could bounce from that really hard like the last few times or continue the downtrend.

It's way too early to say that. I am quite sure that we might see another $6000 test in the coming days, but now in a more serious manner -- whales haven't put much effort into actually testing it yet. The move on Bitfinex was quite interesting because the dump that was meant to drag the market down, was countered with a quick but powerful enough dose of buy support. It could have been the same whale just trying to cause confusion or just to play around, but either way, we might be up for more. Bitfinex is the place where all the exciting action seems to be happening....

Hope for the bulls to come. We can't assume on when will be the expected bull to come.

I disagree, you say that there's no reason to buy right now? Taking a look of the past charts is enough to say that this is the best time to buy and it's under $6,500 again. Every time you're going to buy there's a risk, whether the market is up or not. We're struggling for months now and that big move for its surprising comeback is what we've been waiting for.

Bitcoin is completely decentralised platform so no one is predict the Bitcoin value so it will raise or fall whatever happen in Crypto market. All the peoples are continuously investing in Bitcoin automatically this will going to moon. This price variation is stable in next month so Bitcoin will reach more than 10k USD in next month.

I agree with you that predicting a future price of Bitcoin in the short term is almost impossible.
But this doesn't have anything to do with Bitcoin's decentralization.
The decentralization ensures that your txns can not be censored and that you are able to participate in the network from wherever and whenever you want.
But this has no (short term) impact on the price. This is done by traders, speculators and investors who buy and sell  on various exchanges around the globe.

Looking upon today's market situation I believe that the price will stay above $6500. Moreover we don't know how long this will continue, because the growth happening with bitcoin is out of human prediction. The continued support got from the users is the driving force to make the price stay above the $6500 limit.

It is not good to sell right now because the price will stay more high than what you are expecting. The price is already started to increase and will continue for a longer period to increase in value. If you can hold your coins for longer period then you will be lucky to have your bitcoins in the future.

If theres a demand there would be always a recovery and these price ranges when bitcoin is playing on. No one can predict the future and we wont really know on how long it would tank. As an investor the thing you should do is to focus to buy on a dip price, lets say we do see bitcoin hitting $6252 on June 13 20:00 UTC if we do able to buy out on that time then the current price as of now is on $6717 then shorting out will make you already $460+ on a matter of 6 days which isnt bad.

If you think it way too late to sell, then hold and wait for the bull rise. This year is too unpredictable, the price of bitcoin is dropping without a hold or point of stability. So, for me, holding is the best thing at this point and wait forward to the future.

Absolutely right. We cannot predict when the price will go bullish or will go down. Perhaps it can stay above $6.5K this month. But one thing we are sure for now in cryptomarket, bitcoin can still recover despite the fact of how many times it dipped. So just HODL and be calm, the market price of bitcoin will rise again soon.

It's hard to say what the future will be but i think you should hold your bitcoins right now because if you would sell it, it will only add to the supply in the market thus bringing the price down further.

Isn't wise to sell them off our coins in the current situation we have, bull runs will coming soon as we entered in the 3rd quarter. Mostly it happens in the previous years, only we have to do is to patiently waiting and never mind on red colors, it will turn into green in the coming days.

I think that it already has break the 6500$ level and currency bitcoin price is trading in 6457$, but still i would like to say that people still want to invest money and bitcoin and still they are showing good interest there, therefore i think that bitcoin price will very soon recover it price and will hopefully very soon trading above 8000$.

Yes you are right, selling your coins today will just make you lose some of your investments because the market prices are currently decreasing but you will be going to higher your patience and wait a little bit more then you might get a decent profit since crytpocurrency prices will still go back to norma l after a few months.

With the support it has acquired from different levels of people as well from different levels of corporate firms and industry the growth continues. One thing to be specific is that we are not in a scenario to make exact predictions. Based on the current market trend I believe that the price of bitcoin won't go low to $6500 which hugely affect the user base as well declines the market capital.

We shall be positive and removes all the negativity in our mind. Bearish market will come to an end nearly and it turns into green again. Though can't predict when but surely there is a bull run come soon. Isn't good to sell our coins having in these bear markets, keep patience cause that's the only way to free from losing.

Selling bitcoin at this time seems to not rational especially if you buy or earn when its was far higher than the current market value of bitcoin. I think you should keep holding it for now. Panic selling is not the wisest thing to do as of the moment. $6400-$6700 price range have some support in my opinion and it highly unlikely to go below $6000. Just wait for a couple of months and then sell. No need to rush.
