The media manipulated us to hodl! “Big money’s coming” meanwhile they dump there load all over us!

Where did you get this? Include always the source to prevent more FUDs spreading. This is useless, it is becoming tiresome to always see these kind of topic whenever the price of bitcoin reaches a state of decline. We should have been used to this kind of setup because it happened a lot and we should be able to make a bold move to counter whatever whales are doing behind the scene. We are powerless compared to them so this is the best we could do.

I hope you are right that the big money is coming.I hope this dump is just a manipulation before the investors kick in and that we will see a bull run like last year  :)

They might be shorting though that is not true clearly, when weak hands sells his coins as happening now they will happily buy coins at very low prices.

As of now, we should be focusing on buying small coins or low price coins that have a future. And after that hodl again until good prices come again. And also base on what of the threads that I've read, ICO prices will also become low if the market if the market is not doing well.

They said, "HODL it will be recovering again asap" "Another jump back will come soon" "HODL and you will be a winner" and be doing some wrong analyzation and then publish it to make the majority of people are thinking they should HODL their token.

can be what you say is true, some media may manipulate price prediction of some type of cryptocurrency. and they use the holders to their advantage

I blame the media for reporting false news that cause the community to do panic selling but about dumping, it's the whales that are doing it.

yes, when the price of coins in the market there is a decline that has occurred as it is today, certainly not the right thing to sell some coins that we currently have, should be for example we still have more money in our wallet, this is the right time to buy a declining coin at a cheaper price than you bought before, so you'll get a big profit once everything gets back up to a higher price.

Every year bitcoin has a kind of similar pattern, this year the bull is so late but i still believe it's going to happen and even if it is related to mainstream media manipulation, those people are dumping now to spread FUD so that everyone freaks out and sell and then they buy again at the least possible price and pump it up again, i believe it will go beyond 20k$ in the next bull, but no one knows exactly when will this happens but to be honest, those people who take advantage of this manipulation will never let such oppurtunity to earn big money just because they lost faith in crypto or got bored of it, if you're talking big money, someone going from 6k to 20k for all their holdings means they earn 4 times what they have got now, so they will definitely make use of this

Television shows like Fast Money regularly have segments on the crypto market and many of the panel members are crypto investors.
For example, when Coinbase's new President & Chief Operating Officer Asiff Hirji spoke about the new venture fund, the price of BTC went up.
Not only that, but to claim that "Most of crypto investors around these forums don't even follow mainstream media writings" isn't entirely accurate either.

Even though media manipulated the our minds for hodling, I guess that's a good signs to show up right now. Again, as I have said in the previous thread, you need to filter out everything you read from the media, because we all know that most of them are not true specially on how they manipulated the market in the last couple of days. Maybe some big entities from behind is pushing it, that's why media are schilling about the price movement.

So I advise that if you are not that really sure about how this market works, its not for you. Specially when prices goes down, your are being too emotional and every news you read are going to be true. So stay cool and just let ride this crisis together and it will be over soon.

The reason I post this is because this guy made the claim that we're being manipulated and then substantiated it with incredible and original research. Although his claim is that we're being manipulated into NOT buying cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin specifically). I'd be genuinely enthused to read anyone's substantiated claim that we're being manipulated into BUYING Bitcoin. It could very well be the case, but I have my doubts.

Well institutional investors will eventually start to invest big money in crypto. They will want to get in when the prices are low, so they can make big profits.

Telling something like this will make it reliable if you have a source to support it. It has been talked before about big money's coming in so with valid proof to add makes sense.

Big money will still come maybe after the market recover, just don't be over discouraged and keep holding patiently because the market will recover and price of coin will increase. Just take your time if you still have spare money to invest in crypto and buy low altcoin and hold them to earn more profit by the time the market recovers.

The media is not always to be trusted. You got to have your own strategy and decisions for your move in whatever the market is heading. The big guys who have big funds will not make it obvious to the public that they are buying chunks, They will discreetly get into crypto currencies - that is their strategy, they know better than us and what we can only do is to anticipate their moves.

The main reason causing the market to dump so severe is because one Korea exchange is hacked. And that makes people to doubt cryptocurrency has such high value.

It's just a desperate attempt to invite more investors or the media is always doing the opposite of the market's state. When bitcoin and cryptos are mooning, they warned us that it will fall down eventually but now that it is down, they bring more positive speculations.

actually the word holding it is part of the basic principle of investing there is nothing wrong with it as you read and predict as you want and certainly accurate speculation to hold Bitcoin.

Big money whales do not want to pay full retail prices so are keeping market in a trading range causing weak hands to sell out. Once all the weak hands are gone and there are more buyers than sellers, prices will rise.

I also have felt this. When there is NEWS about "Big Money is Coming" or "Institutional Giants are entering" I could see a 1% pump and 25% Dump. I didn't trust the NEWS anymore, whales rekt the plebs, and every single outlet that has crypto on it is controlled. I'll wait till crypto is regulated.

Yes, but if you look at the amount of ICOs and the money who they are raising then you can see there the potential of the whole market. This is because there come new projects and the projects need funds to realise there ideas. In my opinion is the cryptocurrency market still young and we have a long way to go.

Personally, i do believe that the entire crypto market is just a cycle of ups and downs. It is easy for anyone to speculate where next week's values will be but it is difficult to really get a good picture of what happens next. I am however still bullish that we have reach all time lows and are soon due for a profitable correction soon.

Without evidence, this is just a discussion. Of course, perhaps, big money comes, because they do not buy on hight. Although with such capitalization of crypto, big money can not be placed here yet.

If you hodl for the right reasons though, the whales and manipulators would eventually stop dumping and start picking up pace again. You don't hodl for just one turn of the wheel. You have to be ready to stick with your target even if it takes a long time. That way, red markets, dumps,  and crashes would only seem like a season's change for you.

what happens is that from time to time we have a surge of newbies which amass to a large amount of money that is pumped into different altcoins and also we have the pumping whales who focus on certain coins.

I think that big money will really come to the crypto currency, at the moment capitalization of crypto currency is negligible, when large investors come and every ordinary person can invest in crypto currencies, then the price will go up

big money can always come in crypto but that could posibly take much time because the current state of crypto is still small or not yet popular but if the trend can continue to go up and demand for cryptos will still be high , im pretty sure that big moneys will also come in because new investors and whales will enter the crypto currency scene .


no not all . fud is only a small percent factor that affects the value of cryptos . manipulation is the one that cause the price to fluctuate too much but that does not mean we should only do short term . long term investing or trading is still the most benecial thing to do .

I don't believe in media manipulation arguments personally. Most of crypto investors around these forums don't even follow mainstream media writings. Most people are wise enough to buy their ideas themselves..

do not think of what the media is saying. that's not necessarily true and even what they point out is also not entirely based on existing conditions. just do it yourself according to what must be done so that the course could produce a big profit. If the analysis says hold certainly don't be afraid of it.
