good investigation, how did you found the originals?

An excellent investigation, I have relied on the design of the site in addition to the white paper to determine whether ICO is real or scam, but it seems that I was wrong.
In general, how can you identify the real names of these people? Also, how can you track images? "I tried searching for the fake names, but it often leads me to the same site."
In other words explain this

Thanks for the info. It helped a lot for me as a newbie.

For find real name and picture, first search on Google. If you not get result try to click "All size picture" in bottom of picture. Now you will se multiple picture if it's taken from Google. Then select each photo, you will see source website and details. That's it.

You must lock and announce your thread that ICO is scam due to fake team. Whatever true already discribe here. I think I am not wrong. It's better stop bounty and update thread as Mark scam ICO. Otherwise you might be get red tag on your profile. Ask them to come live with together all member's or individual. Then you can unlock. Please lock now and update about scam.

Good job. Not only me, I saw also other people make thread against their ICO. That means we can say it's high risk for you if you unblock. I think you can unlock if they use escrow for bounty payment with btc. Anyway you are now not responsible if they scam. For next time before start any ICO you should research first. My God, it's so shocking, too many swindlers, and seeing this, I don’t think I’ll be in ico so it’s safe.

A lot of pictures have what they call, Metadata and these scam ICO's do not even know how to strip the Meta Data from these pictures before they use them.  ;D  Metadata is called Exif (Exchangeable image file format) and is a standard that specifies formats for files recorded by digital cameras.

GPS metadata can actually tell you where the photo was taken, and this might help you to narrow your search. Most profile photos are taken in the area where you live.  ::)

Updating about XCOV CASE, unfortunately i tried many times to contact them and they are not answering,instead they have banned me on their telegram and all admins blocked me.

1. googled catherine mishi then Images "I got some random pictures and then the picture on that site," so how I can find the real name?
2. The same thing for the rest. I downloaded some of them "click properties then details "and did not find any information.

Sometimes you can use sites to perform a reverse search on photos (https://reverse.photos). It basically requires you to upload a photo and it gives you all google entries using it by image comparison. I just tried it with the female LinkedIn profile (petra) and got the real person’s same in a minute.

There is many more ICO like this. We should be careful. I am trying to find out more some scam. But it's difficult to find alone. It's better if you find any clue let me know to investigations.

Another SCAM ICO i found today was one called 'Surety'. It didnt look the most professional site iv'e ever seen but they didn't look bad either to be honest. Got an email today asking me to follow the next steps to claim my tokens- led me to a FAKE MYetherwallet website.

There has been tens of thousands in this and a few poor sould will unsuspectingly hand over their private key to these absolute cowboys.

Please be aware that the name is SURETY. Do not trust this 'ICO'

I am totally fed up with this shit ICO's which proves to a scam later.  I prefer to delete their sole existence from this forum.

Not to forget, they use this forum platform to advertise,  grow and amass a lot of investors and bounty participants to fulfill their propaganda. It's until this checks by you and other members, these shitloads were breeding and creating their generations here.


I am eyeing on Iregmed group. They claim it to be a genuine group, have clinics etc., but it is being run by extremely shabby Peoples(or one only who claims to be a CTO).Well interestingly, i found that any straight question put to them arrives with a response of "I am in a meeting", and never to be answered back.

You need little bit research about it. For genaral simply use Google search. There are many website to search picture on web. Try to use them. I will make a post with some website that will help you to find.

Your effort to bring this scammy ICOs to the people's is very contributing to the crypto society. Thank you for creating this thread and keep up the great work.

I think this should be placed in the fixed topics, it is very relevant. Recently, a lot of Scam and Scam artists who hide behind beautifully written white sheets and collect money from investors then disappearing into nowhere.

These scam projects are really causing more harm than good. I hope legal actions can be taken when the culprits are caught.

If you'd like to add an additional tool to your arsenal check out our Expert Check.

It's nothing fancy - you scan ICO websites (if they don't have the "Checking your browser before accessing domain.com" enabled) to find experts or advisors from ICO Bench.
If you find any, great, head over to ICO Bench, check their ICO profile, are they really advising this ICO? If not, then it's a red flag.

I was also thinking to include even more people in my database for the Expert Check tool, add additional notes and links to make research easier.
Do you think "Fake team members" should be added to the list? Just to warn people?

I was actually thinking of joining the Onasander bounty program and then I saw this thread and oh that project is listed as another scam because they got the taste of posting fake pictures of their team members. In most cases, a project that is using a fake profile will turn out to be another scam or the team will eventually left the project. I am then glad I got this thread and will following this one for new development. It is about time we fight back these scammers and have a play with their games of using fake profiles. This is one way we can be helping people to stay away from being victimized by scams.

Great work on all the research and get all the information out for everyone to see. Hope there are more threads like this to help iron out all the bad projects.

They are asking bounties for KYC to harvest personal info. Their team has not undergone KYC and when asked they avoid the question. They are a banking project so only a scam would open a banking project with no way to tell who they are. They  can use exit scam whenever they wish.

Bonumchain are not even using a KYC service they check it themselves which means they have access to your personal info.

Nail them.

Wow, nice list of scams. And with proof too! I have another addition to your list. I already have submitted it in Scam Accusations board, but you might want to add it here.

It is called hydroBETA. They claimed they will give 222.222 coins, with extra drops for Eth and Hydro holders. And of course 22.222 for referring others. Later on subscribed users received email for AD KYC, but for KYC they only wanted to know name, email and eth wallet. After adding your MEW address (I used fake one) link appears to link your MEW address to their system. That link leads users to MEW lookalike site, which is not original MEW site (similar to eosGAS). Pls DM if you are interested in pics of proof

Why not expose it here. Is this the same email you received from hydro?

It also has the numbers of airdrop tokens that will be distributed but the difference is it is named as hydro project. ???
