who else has the feeling that bitcoin will keep going down?
I am not against bitcoin nor do I want to spread FUD but every day I am with the feeling that bitcoin will continue to lower its price. In spite of that, I still keep my cryptocurrencies.

Just a theory.... I think it could go down below $6k and then start bouncing back to new highs.

BTC could deep to $5K, and then grow slowly some up, and go dip again, but just a prediction.

The market once again realized this usefulness, and then bought again into Bitcoin. The utility of electronic money is one of the most important long-term impacts on its price.

isn't that contradictory? i mean if you feel that price is going down then shouldn't you be selling so that you have a chance to increase your bitcoin when you buy back after the drop?

as for "feeling" no i have no feeling whatsoever. i believe market is at its most unpredictable right now. we may see more drop or we may see a huge rise. i am not alone this uncertainty which is why the volume has dropped.

i think bitcoin will keep going down again if the FUD in the bitcoin still in the public, and when the all investor and bitcoin holder dont know about the FUD and still panic when the FUD announced, i think if there are not FUD in the bitcoin i think the price of bitcoin will rising up more and more again

I have little idea now as to where the market will really go. 6k is offering some support and part of my logic suggests it will hold but other parts suggest it will fall once there's a big push. If I had such a strong feeling the price would continue going down I wouldn't continue to hold, I feel as though perhaps you're not so convinced, otherwise you're just giving in to FOMO instead of making logical decisions.

Me too, I bet it would stay at the levels of $5,000 then would try to bounce back up again. But we should always tell this since big whales are trying to break for what we expect.

It is possible, but this or that gut feeling you have doesn't really tell or influence anything. I have faith in bitcoin in long term so these dips don't worry me that much.

It's maybe just because he/she just sort of "thinks" that it will go lower, but has no logical reasoning behind it hence he/she doesn't act upon it. I completely understand that as I've had that feeling sometimes.

Yeah, I've had this feeling since we dropped sharply from 20 000$.
The little man was always telling me we're going down like the China Ban drop in 2013, but never listen to him.
I've kept on holding...If I would have sodl at that point now I would be able to buy them 3 times back.

Oh definitely. Once we hit the $15,000 price mark I had my thoughts of selling because the price increased too fast. But I thought, "what if I sold and it rose more in price?". I would've fomo'd in. So yea, didn't sold. And I didn't regret my decision when we hit $20k. Wish I sold at that price though. When we dipped to $15k I didn't sold again as I thought that was the bottom LUL.

I think the price Bitcoin will approach 6K and then smoothly to 8K will rise - 25%

Honestly ups or downs doesn't matter to me "these days*" because my purpose is to hodl. Maybe someday I will care for that but today it's out of my context.I don't mind any FUD or negative speculations etc. today also because of the same reason. Meaning I don't really having a serious analyzation these days if the bitcoin price will go up or will continue to dip.

If that is your view about the current price trend then that's it. Nothing wrong at all as anyone can express their feeling. But at some point, it's way better for our own views to have a good reference too so that we really have a good reason why should we feel "that" way.

The price did go down to almost $6,200 but was able to bounce back and stay above $6,500 mark. We are already in a strong buying zone so we aren't expecting the price to fall below $6,000 USD nor are we facing any resistance, so we can expect the price to go up unless we reach the $8,000 mark without any issue. Do keep in mind the more the price falls, the larger the buying zone becomes which will eventually tend the price to go back up again.

The bitcoin is not dependent on what you feel, it will go depending on how you and other holders choose to take the risk of holding for future investment. You can think of the price being dump, but price has also the same potential for it to pump. I've witness since last year how the price changes and still has this belief that bitcoin will recover and has it's better price.

There are times that bitcoin will have consecutive days dumping its price but never give up and don't panic selling your bitcoins because we know that it will increase again. Just stay patient and hodl our coins for long. Don't mind the negative comments just stay positive.

Am not having any feeling with you, Bitcoin is going down and you all are already contributing to FUD. We won't rest in this forum again with all these silly topics. If bitcoin wants to drop it should  and it's natural. Even stocks are falling and besides there is no way you will expect bitcoin to keep climbing forever, market tends to correct itself at some point.

I am also hoping that its price will go down because it is going to be our chance to buy bitcoin and hold it until the value gets higher again. When bitcoin's price goes down, it is mot negativity for me hence, it is a chance to grow my money. Hehe

A true believers will not panic on the current situation because they believe in the future of bitcoin. It may continue to go down so we can buy more bitcoin at a lower price, don’t panic it cause you nothing but a great loss. WE have mixed feeling about Bitcoin, Investors would hold and wait for the market to recover after this drops, while new investors would want for further drops in Bitcoin price for them to Buy Bitcoin at the lower price. Market is Volatile, anything can happened at any given time, price value may goes up and goes down dependent on the Volume of investment put in for Bitcoin, yet, it reacts also on some issue like Banned, Scammer,and Regulation. But, with good the fundamentals, Bitcoin remain stable and with high level of market confidence, the price value of Bitcoin will goes up again after this market glitz.

If bitcoin continue to fall down time to buy get some and preserve then hold wait for it's turned to grow find some alt that  hits today for usual needs don't feel afraid that's a scenario of business.

I have the same feweing about the price going down by the next couple of months. But if you see the chart from last year its also shows that bitcoin will fall this month and next month but it will rise again by the end of the quarter.

In business sometimes affected in global economic crises not new to us that everything may also fall down looking at the world market this also the trend. Yes, that kind of fear will be around for some time but there's a way to for you to at least relax a bit. You could analyze the history of Bitcoin from when it was created and until now. You see, Bitcoin's been in that situation before so no worries for me. I'm sure one of this day we will have another bullish trend, we just need to be patient and relax.

For now, according to my prediction, Bitcoin will continue to fall, and will start rising again in early August. And will be back up sharply at the end of December. This incident has happened in the last year, which we have seen and felt in 2017. Hopefully my predictions are correct, which of course will make me and you get a good profit.

Well, we all fear and get worried when there is a dump and looking at the price chart from before helps to add hope that bitcoin will recover again. But we have to consider that there is also a chance that bitcoin maybe stable at the current price now, for weeks of watching the market price, there are only small fluctuations compared to what is happening before. what ever the price of bitcoin would be if you are a smart trader you can still earn profit from a bearish market guys.

So you just depend on your emotions then when you feel like buying or selling a coin. I think its time for you mate to study the charts and observe the news because at least we will have an idea of what the people who holds large amount of coins wanted to happen to the price. If there are bad news then they want it to go lower and if there are good news then they want it to go higher. We have to take into account what the price action is telling in the charts, what is happening around through news and observe the market sentiment as well to at least speculate of where the price might be heading. We shouldn't just depend on our feeling because this is what makes us lose.

you can not have any feeling of the market whenever there is manipulation in it. you can make random guesses like when you roll a  dice and maybe you get lucky and your guess comes true but there is absolutely no way that you can make a proper educated guess or speculation about the market at this point. we are all in the dark and as it can be seen from the decrease in the volume, majority of traders are waiting to see what is going to happen which leads me to believe we are reaching the end of this manipulative trend.

I think this last bit of bitcoin value is decreasing, bitcoin will rise then down again but not pass the low value current. then the bitcoin value will rise higher.

No I'm not since the price bounce back a little and seems currently swinging a little bit now. In short, my feelings depend on what is the last or current movement of the price. Like the recent fall, i'm thinking that the price will continue to fall but my faith is stronger that it will stop and recover.

Did you just come up with this or is your opinion based on some signals? I can say with confidence that we are now at the bottom. More bitcoin will not fall. Soon speculators will not be able to restrain the growth and the price will go up. But I am not sure that the growth will be very large. It seems to me that this year bitcoin will not cost more than $ 10,000.

9 out of 10 forumers here on BTT will say BTC is at bottom, good entry point, best bargain, etc.

I can tell you that investors aren't stupid. The stage of FOMO is over since Dec 2017 at ATH, now is the bear sentiments and BTC price won't reach even USD$10k in short or mid term.

I have been tempted to re-invest in BTC at various price points, and boy! am I glad that I didn't.  :D

Well both of you are making personal speculations though it's not certain which iy would be by the end of the year. Some people are still confident that we'll go beyond the current ath. Some say we'll hit below 5 or 4k. You'll only stress yourself out thinking about all the possibilities by the end of the year

Common sense is mostly enough to prevent you from buying wrong dips.

What I do is calculate the probability of certain levels to become strong support levels, and based on that I allocate a certain percentage of my capital to buy these dips.

From $19,000 to $15,000 is a dip, but one that you should ignore.
From $15,000 to $11,000 is a dip, but again one that you should ignore.

I started buying back with a small percentage as soon as we broke $10,500. I used a small percentage because the likeliness of this being a strong support level is low.

The most of my buy back activity happened between $6000-$8000 and I am more than satisfied with that.

that feeling, all Bitcoin users must feel it so also with me. I also still keep Bitcoin in my personal wallet because I am very sure Bitcoin will rise again, even if it goes up slowly or takes a long time I will always hold it until the time comes for me to be able to sell it.

Feeling yes, but what is it based on? I don't know, maybe the state of Bitcoin this year. A lot of bearish sentiment and a market where a bullish state was suppressed or overrun lots of times. Maybe that's how you get depressed in real life, bad news after bad news.

I don't believe in TA charts as well. I do take note of the length of time (eg. days or weeks or months) that the BTC price had been stagnated at various support levels, and decide from there how much I would like to risk.

For BTC, its very unlike stock/share/FX/commodities, and thus far I have yet to see one who can predict the BTC price correctly based on charts.

apart from that, until now there are still many users who have a feeling that bitcoin prices will come back down. especially the big investors and their new investors would expect prices to go down so they could buy more bitcoins to invest and multiply their money in the future.

The reality is that we will probably experience several months of price fluctuations in all cryptocurrency markets. This is what happened in 2014 and 2015 after the last crash at the beginning on 2014. The price dropped but then just bounced around in a price range of around $200 to $600 for probably a couple of years. We could see the same thing happen this time but with higher prices.

Bitcoin's speculative nature is indeed full of surprises, but in some cases the probability of a major correction to happen is quite easy to point out.

Last year was the perfect example;

# Crucial $20,000 level was coming closer during a major bull run.
# CME opening =  sell the news.
# Tax sales.

It still doesn't offer any guarantees, but the way higher probability was enough to convince long term holders to liquidate a large chunk of their coins, and that's exactly what they did. Smart people have bought back at least everything that they sold, but there are too many coins in circulation still from those who haven't bought back or are no longer going to buy back. As long as these coins are circulating we aren't going to see much improvement, unless an ETF pops up suddenly sparking demand.

Stoch RSI has been oversold for over 24 days now. Bounce should be coming but volume support is needed. Otherwise we'll keep bumping around 6400-6600$ range.

Same here and I do think Bitcoin will keep on going down, this year would probably be the opposite as of what had happened last year. And it is possible that Bitcoin will keep on going down because it is already half the year and it has not reached to at least $10k yet; it is even having a hard time trying to reach that amount so I am expecting it to maybe even go lower than $5k this year.

I think people like you who thinks negatively of bitcoin everytime the price went down has the big impact why the price keeps falling. I don't feel that bitcoin will keep going down .Because we know the nature of asset will increases automatically when the demand of that asset is increased.
If the whales play role to increase/decrease in price.It will not continue not for 10 days.If the price reduced,the demands increases and impact the bitcoin price increases.

I don't why people get depressed by the minor fluctuations.It is just an fluctuation ,it had both positive and negative raise.Use both the situation to buy and sell the bitcoin.You have buy at low price and sell at high price for the huge profit.But it will not occur in a single day,you have to hold it to taste the sweet.

I have. Everytime it goes up, I feel its a bull trap, and I dont buy. Some hours later, the trap is confirmed. This happened several times already.

Its only a bull trap if the overall trend is down.   Thats not always been the case even recently.  Sometimes it would do better to buy in even if only short term and sell later.

Rather then rely on feelings to indicate the direction of a globally traded asset, I would just look at the base prospects such as population of users, usage, utility availability in bitcoin and related apps.   If all those things are rising its probably not especially negative even in the longer term.   The other side to consider is the case for dollar which is the current de facto standard.

  The balance of the two, old and new is what gives direction and the price is on a very long leash to that with alot of speculation of course

Hopefully the whales will take over this month or next following months this year, and same as other who has positive thoughts towards bitcoin had a feeling that bitcoin will not crash down its price. If there's a possibility that more people will become education with bitcoin, that's one way to consider as great factors the price will increase substantially. I don't think that the price keeps on going low. From my personal thinking it is a kind of scenario that is common with the cryptocurrency network that has taken place in the past years. This time it looks big, because the price began to fall low from the peak value downwards. Also in between when it was predicted to cross $10000 it rolled downwards.

Yes still such matality of people are there, but i think that they are totally wrong because i personally cannot see any such reason which can bring bitcoin back to such a low level, but i am sure that bitcoin price will continue increasing its price and much more possibilities are that bitcoin price will hopefully cross 50000$ in next few years.

And it has been proved FUD from the latest update of market. Price of cryptos may go down or up. But FUDs will not allow traders to make decision properly. So if we expect something good from the market, we should not spread this kind of FUD or speculation.

It's hard to say right now because bitcoin is always changing the price like last week it's $5900 then its bounce back to $6400 yesterday so its hard to determine if bitcoin keep falling down. I really think that if this is not the bottom then we are very close to the bottom, many of the people that were not ready to hold their coins have sold already, now most of the people that still remain in the market are people that are not going to sell no matter what and speculators and while speculators have an influence in the market their influence is limited since we are seeing the volume of bitcoin has gone down significantly.

There's still a chance that even we are seeing some green market right now the bear will appear again, as many opportunist and short term traders will keeps selling what they've got from it's cheaper price, taking their profits right away when they've seen the opportunity like this, so until then we can't assume if the rally will continue up or another big downfall will come.

There will come a time for bitcoin where it will dip, its normal for bitcoin to decrease in price since it is volatile. The price changes from time to time, just as the price might possible go down there is also a high chance of getting value pump. Though I have know idea where the price will really go, I am still expectant that price will regain and reach the peak again.

Bitcoin will not keep on going down because it has managed to keep its pace from the 6,000$ mark for a couple of weeks now. It's only waiting for the bull run that may happen before this year ends or maybe next year.

Probably only the people who have already sold their bitcoins feel that way because they want to see bitcoin crash and burn and feel like they are right about leaving. There is absolutely no reason for bitcoin to drop in price and it has been solid for a decade now improving every single year.

Even last years all time high price was seen as delight has shown us how we are not just ready yet for such a big transaction level with the increasing transaction fees to a new high plus the long times it took for each transaction. Now we figured that out with segwits and lightning and all that stuff so we are ready for another bull run and this time we will not be stopped by anything. This is why there is no way bitcoin going down any further, I don't care what anyone says I will keep buying bitcoin.

Bitcoin prices will not always fall, for now it may only be due to the effect of the correction that occurred because last year the price of bitcoin became very expensive and currently falls and that has become a natural thing.
