If you read news like this https://www.ccn.com/mysterious-asian-whale-begins-funneling-funds-back-to-huobi/ that there is someone who has mysteriously bought a large amount of bitcoin. Then sell. All I can read is that Bitcoin has a fan of "Giant" who likes to invest and sell Bitcoin. This means Bitcoin will continue to run. What to worry about? What I do not want is if there is no Bitcoin buying and selling activity. Because that means Bitcoin no longer has any interest. That's what I should be afraid of.
This is just My Opinion Personally. Please fix it if it's wrong.

Well i think this news was in the past i actually have read anothet thread regarding this topic. Anyway as long as the market is moving it means people are making transactions and that is generally the most important thing that it has value to people and it its significance will continue so it wont get obsolete.

Do not care about these news. When you are always influenced by these negative news, you will lose your judgment. Since the birth of Bitcoin, there have been countless mysterious people trying to control it, but no one is successful.

Every individual must have fear. But the fear does not become a barrier to keep investing bitcoin. Fear does not let it continue to disturb our hearts and minds.

Yes. I agree with you guys. I do not have the slightest fear of this news. I only sell when it goes up and hold when it is red. I'm never afraid of risk "like most people say". In my opinion, any decision in life must be at risk. Not just in the world of commerce. So "Risk in life is the necessity".

I have seen many of such articles since the day I started with Crypto just make decisions on you're own after doing some research, then you will learn a lot more about it and you will have less fear in your investments.

There is no overnight event like that. That is possible to happened but only because of strong and hard major problem.

Don't overthink too much. Even with the current price bearish behaviour, it's impossible that no one won't get interest in buying bitcoin. That is unrealistic to think at the moment so better be relax and throw away your fear.

We don't have any fear of bitcoin not bringing interest to people because people will always want bitcoin. The price now may be low but there will aways be biy and sell in bitcoi upn. There may be people buying big time and selling huge which could affect the market but not necessarily depleting interest for bitcoin.

At least since I have been visiting this forum, I have read about this kind of news and till now, they will still be around. Afterall, some people don't like fiat money for certain reasons whether because of it monopoly or something else, so they will also be spreading FUD about fiat which is same with what is happening to cryptos.

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Being paranoid can cloud your judgment. Try to ignore news like that. Keep in mind that no group or event can influence the cryptocurrency market.

Do not let negative news affect you, because it will make your beliefs decrease and lead to panic. To gain advantage then you have to believe in something that can give you an advantage. Keep your beliefs on bitcoin so you will really benefit from bitcoin.

You don't need to worry about Bitcoin, Bitcoin will have a big contribute in every economy of the countries and I believe on that, Don't believe on many articles and fake news that Bitcoin will end cause surely this is not..

if bitcoin is wrong also not gan. but I always worry about it sometimes if I invest by using all my money including money for my daily needs then the price of misses does not match what I predict. the price dropped sharply while I had to sell when I was pressed with daily necessities. .

After hitting 20k about six months ago it's not realistic to have a high expectations about the price, but people don't think that way.
Technology could be developed very well so that constant fear is coming from the unknown and people do not want to learn about the technology.

I think that its just overthinking.Bitcoin would continue to exist and people would buy and sell bitcoins which would make it exist.Already many people predicted that bitcoin would be dead soon and until now,it continues to exist.

We can a lot of great news ore bad news about Bitcoin or crypto currency. We have our own to evaluate such information whether that's true or not, yes, maybe it is a FAKE NEWS, The ups and down of the price value of Bitcoin triggered the expert opinion to come out of the treed, everyone is saying something about Bitcoin future, But no one knows what will happened, we can only have probable opinion about Bitcoin and the market movement.

whales will always be whales, they exist to do those thing and actually if this true it happens even before. no need to get fear about them as long as the market still exist there are a lot of individuals that could outperform whales in the market once it start to get healthy again, right now we are just simply on a slump.

From the very beggining, bitcoin has funded already a large amount of capital, and the same thing as what happens today are forms of business cycle that something bitcoin are controlled by big whales, and I think bitcoin cannot survive without those big gorgeous and generous investors that can afford to invest a large amount of capital. there is nothing fake about it.  the only thing that the article neglects to mention is the fact that this is happening every single day! during rises, during drops,... there are traders some huge, some big and some of them small who are buying and selling bitcoin to make profit. there are whales who move thousands of bitcoin to sell there are thousands of other small fish who buy 1 bit coin on the other side.

in the end if there are more sellers than buyers the price will go down and if it is other way around price will go up.

This was just a norm of bitcoin, and thus manipulators will not be successful because btc demand will rise soon. The investors right now holds their asset as unpredictable market was really affected by the current trading struggles. Moreover traders nowadays were shaking off their feet upon hearing those false predictions, but even if they're having fears it doesn't mean they've loss their hope. Time will come these group of investors will trigger the whales to help btc price recover in soonest time this year.

when it comes to fear and bitcoin we have different levels and reasons for it. some of them are good and necessary like fearing the money you invest in which leads you to invest what you can afford to lose not all your lifesavings as long as it is a logical fear.

But there is some news released by reputable sites and according to data and facts (including the links I included at the beginning of this thread). For me, such news should not be frightened but it should be the basis of our optimism, Bitcoin lovers, that bitcoin will be more advanced and not something that is not qualified. The proof of a giant investor is still sitting with Bitcoin.

I mean a lot of people are worried that whales moving coins = all of a sudden bitcoin prices crashing down, which may be the case. But simply them moving coins doesn't mean much, it could mean that they just want to trade for the short term.

Plus, if traders with big volume do sell their coins, it'll just mean that another person or persons will be picking up on the long position. Nothing too special going on here.

You're right, there is a false fear involved here. Bitcoin is supposed to be traded on the free market, and people with lots of it can do whatever they want with their BTC, and that includes selling. I think it's stupid when people become worried and sell Bitcoin. Although it is decreasing and there is no sign of rising, however, I still believe it will soon grow back. Bitcoin will never stop working because it is the currency of the future and it will definitely grow in the future.

I really believe that the false of bitcoin made by some people is the reason why bitcoin is now falling because some peole did not invest because they afraid to lost their money.

If there indeed was someone that purchased that large amount then there should be a bit of a market movement that can be felt a little but i don't think there was. Though for me it's a fact that whales can really influence the market movement, I don't think any of them has made any significant move so far. I just don't want to make it more complicated for myself so i don't actually fear a further drop at the moment. People don't do their research properly and believe in everything that was written on some website which is not even reputable among cryptocurrency investors. I don't see anything wrong in someone buying a few thousand bitcoins. Keep in mind that there are about 21 million of them. The price can be still easily manipulated but it is a matter of time before the market becomes more stable.

We don't know if he intends on cashing out or swapping it for other crypto, perhaps as an Asian whale he will want to swap his bitcoin holding to NEO instead.

There is false fear about Bitcoin all around the media. I don't really care tbh, but the problem is that the newbies believe this sh*t and start panicking for no reason... There are many reasons why bitcoin price drops. Its volatility, the unpredictable change of its value, thats normal. The bad news spreading that caused panic selling of bitcoin, that affect the price of bitcoin. That huge drop was fall from 800 billion dollars market cap to 300 billions, yesterday cryptomarket grown for 20 billions in couple hours, bitcoin and ethereum went up for around 10%. Money is going in and out from cryptomaket and when market cap is 230 billions 20 is almost 10% and market feels that money. Imagine when market cap come to couple trillions, 20 billions will be less then 1% and fluctuations will have smaller range. Whales use news and they spin facts to create panic, investors sell to early, others who wanted to invest wait and they miss good opportunity for buying.
All this informations are available to anyone, you just need to find good source and to know how to understand numbers you see.

really right. I vote with you guys. I have no fear of this news. I just sell it if it just happens that it rises and holds it when it becomes color. I am not afraid of the events that come "as many people are saying". I think, anyone who decides in their life should be at risk. Not only in the world but in commerce. When I join cryto world, I always feel that, I'm to aggresive to invest, when the crypto coins drop at 10%, I directly invest it, and didnt even know that it has much more lower price, so I feel panic because its falling down deeply, so i keep holding till it rises up and earn some little profit. Right, people must fear if there's no sell orders and buy orders on the market but this thing will never be stopped.

Unfortunately most of the news which I read about bitcoin do not reflect the truth. Before I believe that I need to analyze and examine from different sources.  So people are afraid to get bitcoin because of these false reports and news.

There are many fears prevailing,like what if bitcoin is centralized.What if someone hacks into.All these risks were and always will be with money and currency.We have just got to mitigate those.

I agree with ypu mate there's nothung to worry on that's new besides that's an old news, people still believe for buy and sell in the cryptocurrency world they can't stop it specially people knows the importance of bitcoin in cryptocurrency.

It seems big whales are short trading bitcoin to maintain its price at a lower value they bought at the bottom and sold after several uptrend movement that make the price goes down again and for small traders like us its difficult to prefict what they are thinking much better to keep holding or add some more when market is down.

So long as people would trust bitcoin again, the market will grow eventually; however, if the early investors will pull-out their bitcoins then it would continue to decrease. In my opinion we can’t rely on one person only who is buying bitcoin with huge amount of it to enable to rise up it’s price and keeping it alive. Buying and selling demand of bitcoin makes it more profitable, this man do the right thing with his huge amount of bitcoin by buying it and selling it when it rise up, because holding bitcoins won’t give us benefit if all of us holding not and not selling it, because it only slows down the demand of bitcoin resulting to reducing it’s price.

This kind of news would poison the minds of this sheep investors who are new to cryptocurrency but that's just it. I don't really see much of an impact that "Asian Whale" would do though because it has been happening before and Bitcoin still continue to grow.
