We have been experiencing serious downtrend in bitcoin. Some people have been holding bitcoin since alt high $19500 December last year till date $6761 (six months ago).

My question is When are we going to experience pump/bouncing back to previous alt high?

In my opinion. Your question will not find a 100% correct answer. This is related to prediction. Because what you are asking is "when". What is clear will someday increase again. But keep in mind never to stop reading news from reliable sources, who are impartial to anything. Read the opinions and comments of modern and digital economists.

The price has always been hard to predict, but I see signs we have reached the bottom. I say that, knowing that I've said that before and been wrong. But, that is what I'm seeing.

BTC like to move, so if it can't go down, it will probably go up. The buyers/sellers get bored if it stays in one place too long...so naturally, the coin ends up getting triggered to move.

No one knows. It could be months, could be years. Bitcoin has bounced off of the $6.2k - $6.4k bottom three bottoms which is a bullish signal... But if it heads back down, then we probably will go under $6k, maybe even as low as under $5k. Really the only thing we can do is just guess. However, this is the short term. Long term is the game here.

The block halving happens in early 2020. About 6-12 months after block halvings Bitcoin sees a large price rise. If I were to speculate, I think it is around this time when we will see the price hit a new ATH.

No one can really tell or predict the price of bitcoin. The best thing that you should do is just hold on to your coins and wait for the next bitcoin halving on the month of May next year 2019. I'm sure that by this time the value of bitcoin will be not be lower than $10k. As mining difficulty increases, its value will increase as well. Frankly speaking no one can predict when the Bitcoin market is going to recover. Also if you go by the last bear phase than it could take few years before we see any recovery in the markets. To be honest we can't give a definite and exactly time and day when its bouncing back again because it is very volatile and knowing that it contains a lot of changes even in just a minute of time so unfortunately it is very hard to predict. By the way we admit the fact that at first, we really know how volatile the system is so we don't know to be worried because absolutely in the next few days it will bounce back again surprisingly. I'm pretty sure that bitcoin will be bouncing back soon because that's what the system is. After a long run of dump for sure there will be a pump to that soon to be happen. However, knowing exactly when it will happened are sadly to say that we can't give the exactly day that it can be because we cannot see the future so we cannot predict exactly it will be for the next few days.

I think none can reply you the exact time of rising the price. But if you study the current movement, you can predict the nearest timeline. I hope the rising will start soon. And it might go higher than before shortly.

Actually in this system no one can able to have a exact prediction we are only have is expectations but sometimes our expectations are too much that's why we felt hopeless. My personal analysis of bitcoin will start to rise between 7 and 8 months, if the start to rise does not start in the month then it will probably take a long time to get the pump.

For every price drop there is always a bounce back and basing on the current market situation, my prediction for bitcoin is, market value will bounce back from 10K$ to 15K$ early next month. Just HODL and think positively, bitcoin can recover soon.

If we know, do you think someone will get panic in selling if he/she knows that the price will bounce back? You can't find an accurate answer. All are just speculation or prediction, they could be right or wrong. It takes how many years before the old ATH has been beaten last year. Hope it won't take that long again.

The problem is, that bounce back is not big as when the price drop. Everytime the price drop, it must be big like $100-$500 or even $1000 drop but when the price go up, it's only a little like $500 maximum. I hope in the last 6 months the price will back to $10k at least.

Yes. It would not even get any answer since no one can see the future anyway. Bouncing back can happen anytime but not soon which is the reason why I believe that anyone should be taking advantage of the dip as it is right now.

You can always read different news and articles about what is happening in cryptocurrency because if you were just relying on different speculations here in this forum, most of them are all negative so the best thing you should do is conduct your own research.

Its a hard time for those people who bought bitcoin at its all time high. Because there is no gaurantee that it will hit that mark again. But everything is possible so lets wait and see.

Investing on bitcoin on that season are really a bad idea because bitcoin is at high remember to buy at dip or lower price we just see bitcoin pump too high and it is impossible to recover from that amount for now but maybe in near future we will experience it again.

The real concern is that no one knows exactly when bitcoin is going to end up bouncing back but one thing I sure know is that it might take some time before we even end up testing the previous ATH. Some time may end up in weeks or may last up to months also. Like many people here, I am also doubting for new ATH within this year.

I sold my car last year Dec because of FOMO. Seriously people, even if BTC dropped to USD$5k, don't quit your day-job and don't sell your car for BTC.

I think Bitcoin would bounce back probably next month only since the current situation clearly shows that there won't be any pump in price. There was news that a major Korean exchange has been hacked with billions of crypto. This is one of the reason that the price of Bitcoin is still bleeding. Mostly it would recover by next month it seems.

Actually bitcoin always suddenly climb without any sign or signal,  and yes the market shows green sometimes but it doesn't mean it will pump constantly or it will bounce back to the ATH real quick , because indeed it takes time always like what others says ( bitcoin growth rate will continue to climb when it "gained enough strength") but still no one knows when it will happen.  Lol , so we must put more patience on it and always monitor the market time on time especially if the market shows green. if we really don't want to miss this opportunity to become profitable when bitcoin rocketed again.

It's obviously not known when exactly it will happen, but for me, I believe that it's going to take at least a few more months (until at least Q4) before we see any sort of big rebound or recovery within the market.

Bitcoin value is really depreciating at the moment to the extent that it has gone below  $6,000  as at the time of this post. Only time will tell when it will return to the height of $19,000 and above that you bought yours and I want to advise you to keep holding because it will definitely bounce back in time to come.

All are expecting for better result and better value in the future as some had invested in high market and now in loss but still waiting for the market to go high besides which some people invested in the current market and now waiting for the price to go high. Further investments will make the market better and we will soon see a better future value or in the upcoming days.

actually, if we analyze bitcoin price, we can see that the price is always bouncing after it reaches the low price although the bouncing of the price does not increase too high, it's always back to the last time of the price. but this time, the price is down too deep and we don't know when it will bounce back to the higher price and we can make a mistake for this. and now the price is trying to back to reach $6000 again and we hope that it will happen in the next week

It's hard to say, but I think there will probably be at least half a year of consolidating before bitcoin can reach its true bottom within the bear market and start to recover from it. Even though the $6k level seems to be the floor right now, I don't think that it's going to stay there.

If you're talking about the short term, however, I think that we might have a small bull run that takes us up to $7k+ potentially before a correction, due to the fact that $6k is holding up well as support.

But that's definitely not going to be longlasting by any means, imo. We're not gonig to see the major recovery until the near the end of the year or the start of next year based on what we saw in previous bear markets like 2014.

You gotta expect the worse is still coming soon, maybe a dive to sub-$4k. It's pretty imminent I believe, as BTCBTCBTC is pretty much losing investor confidence in the past few months. For now, focus on the long term, on the coming halving season. It's the only point we're sure of a bounce back.

I think in this time, there is a new investor that come into bitcoin and they buy a lot of bitcoin. they use this opportunity while the price is in low price and yes, they are waiting for the price is bouncing back like us. and if the price is still down in the rest of the month in this year, then it will attract more investor to come and it will make bitcoin to go increase again. this year have a lot of bad and good news and makes people confusing about bitcoin direction but they still have the patience to wait.

I think Bitcoin will bounce back once it touches $5500 range probably within July first week or mid week. Bitcoin would start its bullish run may be from July mid week and in August it would trend in a positive direction as per my observation. The current situation is so bad and there is another dip expected and post that Bitcoin would survive healthier.

Obviously, at some point in coming years, I expect the price of bitcoin to move up pretty well but not in the short term.
