Title: Have we hit the bottom? I think so.
Post by: JRMtrader on June 24, 2018, 11:33:32 PM
A brand new Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency podcast that is focused on trading and investing. Hosts interview guests and discuss the latest news in the markets. With experienced traders including an ex-JP Morgan hedge fund manager to talk Bitcoin and big picture moves. Are the latest moves all manipulation or just demand driven? Is the latest SEC statement on Ethereum positive for the markets? When will Bitcoin see all-time highs again? Do Bitcoin Futures manipulate the market? Bitcoin ETFs maybe?

Up until early 2016, there was only one choice for holding cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin. From there, the marketplace has exploded. In this episode, they discuss constructing your portfolio and how to gather the proper information to make informed investments and trades.

Latest episode on SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/buy-or-sell-what-the-hell/have-we-hit-the-bottom-what-projects-are-exciting-developers-28 (https://soundcloud.com/buy-or-sell-what-the-hell/have-we-hit-the-bottom-what-projects-are-exciting-developers-28)

Is there some interest in a solely trading and investing crypto podcast? No bullshit, just talking markets.

Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think!

Considering the pre-rally price and the user base, I believe that there is no reason for Bitcoin to fall any further and hence it is a bottom for the time. On the other hand, I am expecting the price to recover in the second half of this year and we might see a fresh all-time high level in this year itself. The correction of 65% stabilized the Bitcoin and now the price will move upwards in the coming months until next rally but big whales and institutional investors will definitely try to manipulate the situation as per their investment strategy.

Hitting the bottom? bottomed out? around the bottom? good chance to buy? buy a dip? long term investment? keep holding? don't panic sell and so on. Bla bla... let's the market makers do their jobs and please don't predict the whale's action because it's useless to give any reasonable explanations at the moment.

Its good that they are still being supportive over the podcasts. I mean it can at least keep the brain of listeners focused over the market and will know different expert opinion as to when and how to invest.

I am also coming to the same conclusion that we have already hit the bottom and this is the time when bitcoin and rest of the market will start plunging back to where it started first time. The bottom is reached is conclusive form the last years mid term prices. The prices were almost the same as what we have now. And this is the period when everything started to go back to higher peaks.

I agree with this. It's really impossible to predict the bottom or top of the market.
If everyone knew that late December to 1st week of January was the high, everyone would have moved out of the crypto trading market.

We are already in the second half of the crypto currency year and I dont see any good news coming along the way. What we really need is whale support all the time and unless and until they wont stop there so called manipulation of the market then we are not seeing any good news around. Its because of decentralised market, we are helpless here. The rich bastards have all the power to manipulate the market for their own good and they will keep doing it forever I guess. I am sure bottom was reached when we had 5.5 window yesterday but again its about whales and we are not sure by what time they will stop manipulating.

Yes no one can predict the prices exactly but when we are considering the current situation the $6000 looks like the bottom level for now because the prices keeps holding at this level even we see lot of crashes in this year.

There was so much fear in the market  yestaday when bitcoin fell below 6k.but it quickly recovered above 6k in just a couple of hours. I think bitcoin will always stay above 6k and will someday spike. That's when every one will come crashing in again.

To me we are at the bottom and we should expect some ranging trend at this level for some days before serious pump.  The way bitcoin recover above $6,000 is a sign that bitcoin will not be comfortable remains under $6,000. Also op thank you for remind us this as this is highly expected.

We don't know if this is the bottom yet. It's way too early too tell.

We probably hit the bottom for the next few days or weeks since we are very oversold but whether this is the low which will take us to a new ATH is unknown.

Despite the fact that we are sitting on the yearly low support there is no other indicator predicting that it's a valid support area.

Market conditions are unlike the last bear market. Investors severely underestimate FOMO and how short memories are. The next bull run will catch people off balance.

When will Bitcoin see all-time highs again?

this is a question that many people would pay a lot of money to have the answer. But I think we can see all-time highs again in a few years, maybe in late 2019 or even late 2020 may be possible. This year proved to be a very difficult year because of regulations, the price has dropped a lot and many analysts' forecasts have failed.

Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think!

I just hope that the regulation is not too rigid and that many governments and banks look at cryptos with good eyes and do not look at cryptos as if they were an enemy that must be fought

The regulation depends on the country, but we have seen the major powers be pretty reasonable when it comes down to it so far

There is no tomorrow for Bitcoin markets, hence there is no highest, no lowest for Bitcoin. The fate of Bitcoin's price is decided by millions of investors around the world every second. So instead of asking others, ask yourself do you think Bitcoin is worth to believe at $6,100 because Bitcoin's prices are nothing but fluctuating trust of people on Bitcoin. So if majority of people now think Bitcoin is a commodity worth of $6K then yes, we hit the lowest and ready to fly with increase in trust in upcoming days.

Newbie investors have never seen the speed at which the price can rise. Even these new financial traders who are used to slow stock market rises will be caught off guard. Just a few days off due to illness can cause you to miss a fortune on a bull run

I think we have hit the bottom ($5800-$6000) but we can hit it again and again, long term investors buy at these prices but it is much more important for traders.

I think bitcoin could hit harder than just under 6k and although the bitcoin market seems to recover quite quickly i.e. small price fluctuations within days means that the stability of the market remains questionable still.

Yes, today at a very low price, this is probably the bottom price of the altcoin, now the market dropped dramatically and investors are now extremely afraid. Patience is the key factor right now.

I don't believe that Bitcoin has reach bottom at its current market value because there is tendency that its value may likely decline below the  $6000 in the couple of weeks to come and will definitely bounce back from there to the moon before the end of October to November this year.

That's a question no one here can answer. The thing is that we at this point can go up or down as easily, where most people here would even say that the sentiment has more bias towards the bearish side. I personally believe that we're up for a mild recovery considering how much the price has gone down. I don't think it's enough to breach $7000 yet, but it at least would give people a bit more confidence, which is something they are lacking right now. As I said, it could go either way, so take everything you read here with a grain of salt -- at all times make sure you do your own research if you plan to start buying.

Okay. That was a good one.
In regards with the question though. I dont think this is the bottom. We may experience a lot more dips if the panic wont be stopped. This is one good way to stop it.
Give them great news. Occupy their time and do not let them look at the price even for just a day.
We can minmize the sellers even if it reaches just small holders. It will still be an impact.

Yeah no one's sure about it unless they have some multi billionaire to invest on bitcoin that could be a large manipulation. Predictions are just prediction those who risk are the ones who triumph at the end of the day you wouldn't know what it is until you try.

Yep, personally we have see another bottom but we really don't know when it will be because that's how everything works. Negative news brings the worst out of everything to all of us, some panic decided to just sell contributing to bleeding and free fall we have been seeing in the last 6 months. But give them a great news and you will see that it can bounce back in just a matter of days. Again, this is how everything works so we don't really care if it has bottom or not because we all know that it can recover.

Many people say this is the bottom and they should buy back to recovery asset and make higher profit. They don't see the hole market, at this time market has slow moving price and if you buy back now your money will stuck, very bad idea. You should wait and analyze again and only suggest leave the market now, it safe for you.

Current price is level suport of BTC and my prediction from this level price, BTC ready to going up to the all the times high again. BTC community still strong and the price should be not going down more. Bitcoin and blockchain technology will keep in development to give more benefits to the community, and the demand also will increasing.

There is nothing bottom line in bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin reduced to new low value. Now the price again reduced to 6000$.In a interval of two days the price is reduced again.I think this occur often in this month. I had guessed the price will reach new high value in this month. But it not happened.

I really think that the price we are in right now is the bottom. This $6,000 support level is standing strong , also this support level have been tested multiple times. If you are planning to invest on bitcoin this is the best  price recently, you can consider Bitcoin is on fifty percent sale.

I think from past few months of price action many whales and traders have failed to predict the market trend because the markets price action has been very difficult to predict and the trending behavior varies from market to market. Right now the bottom has been hit or not its very difficult to predict because the fundamental is indicating very bad and weaker conditions and the technicals are not supporting or mismatching with the fundamentals. The best way is just to follow the trend and just follow the market what it does and then trade your positions accordingly.

I think either way we see a bottom with a BIG bounce eg from 4500 to 5500 or we see a prolonged consolidation (for a few weeks) at the bottom. We are not far from the bottom tho.. you rather wanna be mid term bullish than bearish here

That could be the case but from a risk management perspective, there is no reason to predict that. Support is holding here and you need to play what is happening on the chart right now.

If you are a short term trader then you can play the fluctuations from time to time. The bottom may have been already hit or the price may go down again but seeing the volume now wherein there seems to be exhaustion already from both sides, price may be in consolidation and in a few days or few weeks time, price may have signs of being bullish. There is a bullish divergence though which is a good sign of being bullish but then we cannot just depend on technical analysis alone because a lot of things that may happen which would trigger the price to dip more.

I can see the wall street chart from time to time and some of the crypto enthusiast that I follow and trust believe that we are already in the depression stage heading to disbelief and would eventually lead to new market cycle. I hope so that that would be the case.

I think this is a market without peaks and no bottom, can see that bitcoin girls are constantly falling and if the $ 6000 level is broken then the bitcoin price will fall to the 5000 mark $. The market is in crisis and the bitcoin bubble has broken and I believe that by the end of 2018 bitcoin prices will probably fall back to the $ 1000 mark.

In my own opinion, the market price today of cryptocurrency or bitcoins is still high because it was down to $2k dollars last year so investing right now is still decent enough in order to earn more profit in the future.

I think we are still in vulnerable state, and from the chart still show that there is possibility that bitcoin could fall down deeper, and with the negative news, it certainly make bitcoin chances to fall down still big, so we haven't hit the bottom yet, and maybe within this market situation possibility of bearish market is bigger than bull market

What a good decision mate, that was also in my mind I need to cash out but the price in the market was too low, I think it is sinking g too much and if we force our selves to convert into fiat we have lose almost a half of what we have holding now.
The best thing to do is holding then yes you are right, holding and investing now is the good choice. Don't rely on your bitcoin hold your daily needs to avoid cutting lose.

Not yet, I believe that the price of coins is still falling, the market is going down dramatically, so do not worry about this market, and do not sell your coins. out of the market.

That's what I mean, do not try to sell it because when you sell , you're supporting panic sell that will affect on bitcoin value globally.

We are the bottom ? Honestly the bottom in my view when bitcoin on $ 299 / btc so it's not bottom yet !

A lot of talks have been made by people at this time but rather than backing it up by actions, its seems its just talk because if every of the comments made by people and recent happening is being acted up through investing, we should be seeing some positive increase in price but rather its just taking a nose dive. However, I still don't think the bottom has been reached already because reaching the bottom means the next phase is the increase in price which is not something I see happening now at all or not close to it.

Every price dips we people on crypto would definitely have this kind of common question, Is this already the bottom? - This turns out that we are just always been keeping on guessing on this thing 8 years already on crypto. When we do saw price decrease then this common question would come out.We would only find out when the price do already tends to completely made a reversal but before that keeps on guessing is just already a normal act to be made. For now we wont even know on how deep we would go.

Everything depends on the whales, how much they plan to buy. Obviously, only whales influence the change in the cost of bitcoins. We little fish can only guess how the price will change.

Not everything depends on whales. If whales spot that the sentiment is changing and people actually start buying again, they will no longer try to force the market down, especially so if they have accumulated enough coins. Whales pick up the signals. If the market is near free from average joes, which is the case right now, they have all the freedom to do with the market what they want. As soon as the average joes jump back in, the freedom to manipulate the market reduces significantly and whales are more willing to buy the price up and sell you the coins they bought way lower. That's the nature of this market....

you can easily see bulls do not push the market up.The negative news, it certainly make bitcoin chances to fall down still big.

I agree with RichardsNY, whales are part of the equation, but I wouldn`t say too that everything depends on them and
their decisions. They are using new and fresh blood to make profit, that is the nature of every market.
I like to believe that we are at bottom, or at least somewhere near bottom. I`m buying when I can, and I like to buy at
bottom`s but I don`t catch good moment always. For long-term investors as I am, it doesn`t matter is this price is bottom
or not, we will buy again, we know that new bottoms will be higher.

It is not true that we have  hit the bottom because bitcoins and most alternative currencies are trending low. The market will still rise above what we are seen now and hope by the end of the 3rd quarter of the year, things will improve.

Well for the moment though it seems we have at 5.8k a few days ago. Today's got a good bounce but there's no way we can say it's already a reversal. Have we hit the bottom for this year? Hopefully :p

I think the answer could be yes for now as we start to plunge upwards with todays market. But this could be just temporary hike and we have no idea whether the market is going to stay that way for long time or not. If its really start of new bull then we can surely state that this was the bottom price that we hit last week.
I think believing is the big perspective here and bottom really could be around thousands dollar or less. But with the current greenery everything has just got changed and newer data will show up soon for us to predict whether this is real pump or not.

I think the bottom is below $5400 this is why the market has not bounced up yet, you can easily see bulls do not push the market up right now, it will go to below $6000
You can never say that. No one can predict the impending bottom. This is entirely a market game and the factors like demand and some exogenous factors can only determine it. If we look at the market, the prices are actually going up in the last few days. There was a fall below $6000 and there was again a rise which showed the unwillingness of Bitcoin to fall that low.

I think we had reached the bottom of the price last month and it slowly recovered again to USD 6000+ this month. Hope the prices get stabilizes this month and back to be normal.
The Crypto market is highly manipulated by the whales who are holding a high number of coins, whenever they want to sell, they do it in bulk hence the prices fall down.

Yes, in the last few days the prices of extremely low coins, I think that is the bottom price of the altcoin so buy in is the most reasonable time.

I think the price was at the bottom 10 days ago and now it start to recover, but there are still lots of resistance to pass. Price have start to move up, but volumn still low and not much new investors coming so it really hard for the market fully recover.

I do not think this is the bottom of the altcoin because we are still in the trade war and have not shown signs of diminishing in recent months. For me this war should end, investors will come back and start buying more. At the moment I will not anticipate anything because I believe the market needs another correction to complete the down trend and will move to the uptrend soon.

Do not think like you, can see that the crypto market is a market without nails and no bottom. You can see that very few countries in the world recognize and recognize bitcoins, so the bitcoin price is not regulated and shark, whale and shark prices govern bitcoin and altcoin. is very easy to understand. I believe that bitcoin prices will probably continue to fall deeply as investor sentiment is lower.

Yeah I agree with you nobody can predict exactly what will happen in the future. There is huge volatility in the price and it means that it can up or down in the future. I don’t know what the bottom level of bitcoin is because it hit $6000 after big dip and now it is $6500. But $6000 was also not the bottom. Hitting bottom for bitcoin means that it is finished.

I do not think that bitcoin has hit bottom, you can see that at the moment the bitcoin price is at $ 6800 and is rising slightly in recent days. But it can be seen that the market is bearish in the long run so the bitcoin price may continue to drop at any time. I believe that the crypto market is a bottomless market so bitcoin prices could fall sharply from now until the end of 2018.

If you look at the way the market is going I think we have already hit the bottom price. The price of Bitcoin has been stable through out this month. Even this year has not been able to go above the $10k mark.

So anyone that invests their money now is investing at the right time, cause I’m sure that the price wouldn’t go below the $6k, any move it takes from this mark will be to go upwards. I hope it gets to $15k before the end of this year, at least.

I know this is the major downfall that Bitcoin has ever witnessed. Bitcoin might be operating at its least value. But you never know what can happen in this industry. Cryptocurrency market has always been full of surprises and shocks. So, anything can happen. The price may crash more any time due to any reason. For know I also hope that this would the bottom value of Bitcoin and there would be no further fall.

Hitting the bottom? bottomed out? around the bottom? good chance to buy? buy a dip? long term investment? keep holding? don't panic sell and so on. Bla bla... let's the market makers do their jobs and please don't predict the whale's action because it's useless to give any reasonable explanations at the moment.
I think you are free because we can not for sure be predicting about the behaviour of the market in near future, it is almost unpredictable after all because we cannot know what as you said market makers are about to do.
