Hello i am newbie here and i am newly trader can someone give some information which exchange is the best for buying altcoins ?

Binance, houbi, kucoin and idex is most well know exchanges for me. I got use them always as I can see that there are many traders there and the volumes are good, I can buy and sell there very well and well protected.

If you are beginner in this field you must gain some knowledge in trading platform then only you will earn profit. But my advice is first choose the right altcoin then plan to trading site. because if I am suggest bittrex or binance it is top sites but you choose your convenience altcoin that is not listed in these sites you only disappoint on it. So better pick the coin then analyse the good trading site.

I like to exchange ethereum because they have the characteristics that I like with speed development as well as the price that is right for me.

There are many best exchange sites that I have tried such as bittrex, poloniex, binance and etc. They are all very secure exchange site but according to my experienced, if I choose 1, I will choose binance because it was very easy for newbies in trading to understand it. In other words, it was so handy.

If you are begginer stop thinking about yourself as a pro. If you are begginer 100 alts which are on binance is more than enought to cause headache. Im sure with newbie experience he wont find anything more interresting than it is on binance especially if almost every coin has multiple copies with different name doing the same thing. If he want to invest in platworm made to create decentralized applications - there is eos, ETH, stellar, ,ZRX, NANO, NEO, NEM, WAVES and many more (even VEN will allow that after lauching mainnet and becoming VET). As a newbie he wont be able to compare them. Thats why when you are newbie it is not important which coin will you choise - its important when will you choise it. Bigger coins are also safer (almost all bigest coins are on binance)

Trading is not ivesting. Its more about feelling good moment rather than choosing great coin out of 2000 coins and search them through shit exchanges with various risks.

i have accounts of coinbene, kucoin, bitfinex, uex, huobi, binance, cryptopia. For everyday use i choise binance. Very low fees, sharp (when you place order its on market in the same second), has great mobile app and desktop  app with great interface. Its also the best secured in my opinion. Binance even helps users with hacked accounts - they have whose system for that and already prevented 2 massive theft form their users account from stolen API keys - they also started a Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU). Starting from 2018/07/14, they will allocate 10% of all trading fees received into SAFU to offer protection to users and their funds in extreme cases. Binance also doesn't requires KYC - at liest if you plan to withdraw less than 2 btc daily.

Indeed, first you need to analyze the rates of altcoins over the past few months,choose altcoins that you like,read about these altcoins all possible information then just start trading.I would recommend Bittrex.

Binance is the most user friendly app there is but any trading knowledge would be even better if you use such app though it wouldn't be angood idea to trade with low amount of money you'll end up losing more after fees than your actual profit. The price there is fairly fair just a normal price reference.

There are many exchanges you can try to get familiar
- Binance: UI/UX are easy to trade and use for newbie. This is the best exchange I think. This exchange have great volumn, you can buy/sell without waiting too long.
- Bittrex: This exchange is also good, but now the volumn is quite low.
- Kukoin: There are many potential coins. You can buy and hold for a long time.
- Coinexchange: There are many 1-2 sts coins here, but they are potentially pump x2-x3 daily. You can try your luck here.
- Cryptopia: This is the same as coinexchange

Most of these top exchanges are still very bad.  They have high fees, bad customer support ,and participate in shady activities.  It's still early in the crypto world so I'm waiting for the next big exchanges to come along and sweep the floor with it's competition.

The question has been asked over 50 times here. Before you say you didn't know because you're newbie I am going to tell you you should search before or use the "search" feature in the menu. As I say it has been asked a lot of times and so you're answer is surely in  the existing topics, where you can continue the discussion if you have still something to say/ask.

Firstly use some instruments that help you to analyse market like zTrader and TabTrader.They are enough useful to analyse cryptocurrency market for many beginners in trading. As for exchanges I think Binance, Idex and HitBTC are rather easy to use for beginners. Beware to buy uknown alts, choose only with high ratings.

Majority of Binance users dumped Bitrex and Poloniex for Binance as they found it to be the better exchange, if you plan to make small trades at a very low fee then Binance is the best option for you.

It is binance and some decentralized trading places, because I see in these places the transaction costs are very low, not as high as other places. That is why Binance is always popular.

Binance  runs through most of the suggestions. Arguably binance is the top exchange currently. It's not a perfect exchange but it's a very good one. Security is good with binance and that should be top priority in choosing an exchange to trade.

Binance and Kucoin is the winner for me. Few months ago. Poloniex and Bittrex is dominating the crypto exchange market. Now its Binance and Kucoin. Both of them are using a good marketing promotions.

I often use Binance. It is a rapidly growing exchange that concluded its ICO a few months back. Though it is based out of China, it doesn’t serve its native country but is open to almost all countries around the world. Since its ICO to till date, it has grown tremendously and is now placed in top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It now has many altcoins listed.

Like many other questions about the 'best' thing on here, this is going to be subjective to where you live and the circumstances that are around you right now. Lets say you live in the United States and don't care about showing some identity verification stuff online -- I'd probably go ahead and refer you to Coinbase / Coinbase Pro (Depending on the type of trading your doing, but still) I'm not going to refer someone who lives in a no-name country that Coinbase doesn't support to Coinbase.

For a beginner when it comes on trading, that exchange site is the best way to trade our altcoin because it's easy to use and user friendly even you are newbie, i said that 'cause when i was a beginner in trading i choose that exchange site.

I think that at this point you should move to Kucoin for trading and trading, I have transferred all of my assets into it, I think the binance trading floor is not as good as the first phase anymore. You can see that at the moment the volume of trading at binance is declining and the floor is experiencing a lot of bugs and problems, such as locking and withdrawing, unable to trade, pump market, frequent errors occur .

it will depend on which altcoin you plan to exchange.  lookup to coinmarketcap and click on the coin which interests you, it will list the exchanges that list that coin.  you can see the trading volume for each exchange that lists that coin.

new exchanges can give promotions like no exchange fees and some coin faucets.  just beware that these exchanges has no reputation and there's the possibility of scamming the members.
 

For newbie I suggest you to try Hitbtc, they have simple rules to follow. Hitbtc also have many coins that you can use to invest/ trade and get income. They have simple and easy platform to use and friendly support that you can contact them if you have problems with transactions. Fees is relative, so you can try it and maybe you'll stay like me.

Totally agree. Because it’s truth that not all exchanges are user-friendly and there is no point in trading with any currency, if you’ll be mistaken all the time. By the way, the question to thread’s author: which cryptocurrency have you chosen to start with? I’m asking because I think that you can try cex (https://cex.io/), coz this platform is good for both beginners and pros. But there is a possibility that they don’t have an alt that you’ve chosen.

For myself, I like a couple of exchanges though because they have a lot of coins. I use binance as my best as it has many coins listed on it and also, it has volume as well as many people trade on this exchange.

So far, the best exchange for me is kucoin, mercatox and forkdelta. I've been using them for some time already and its quite and easy to trade on. Mercatox I already tried daytrading before.

I find Binance the best option to trade in altcoins. You can instantly start trading if you already have any form of cryptocurrency anywhere in the world.

I think you can first try with Huobi.Pro
I have done a lot of transactions here and it is very interesting. The interface is easy to use, the Coin chart is Huobi derived from Tradingview very professional. Also provide basic information about a coin in the coin trading interface such as Concept, Whitepaper, General Practice, Official Website, Block Explorer, etc.

huobi, binance, bittrex, hitbtc yet i advise bittrex or even binance it is the top site but a person choose altcoin your comfort which is not detailed on these types of sites a person just dissatisfy

I think Binance is the best centralized exchange right now. And Bancor and Idex are good among the decentralized exchanges.

Depends on what coin or token do you plan to buy. Not all exchange sites offer the same coin or token and not all coin or token carries the same list. There maybe an exchange site have a lot of coin or token listed but the coin or token you are looking for are not listed there. Binance, Bittrex and Kucoin are the exchange sites that I use.

it's hard to say which exchange you choose... for a beginner, they will all be suitable. When you get experience of trading and then make the right choice.

Binance has a huge variety of coins and is easy to use, I also like Bittrex and Poloniex. All of them have a sufficient volume and are very userfriendly at the same time.

it depends how much you want to trade and how fast you want it. For a first time buyer I would recommend Coinbase. It has the easiest UI to use and you can get your crypto instantly if you want. Every exchange has some horror stories but Coinbase is the most widely used.

Based on my own trading experience I can say that Binance, Kucoin are two exchanges that th3 best. Especially binance it is easy to trade and many coins are listed there. The fee also is fair and reasonable.

When I was newbie  In trading, I tried binance and that was my first exchange do I used to trade my some altcoins. And Its doing good  through the presence of my friemds where as guide me to execute proper trading.

I too really like binance but I also kinda like my own local one as well. What is it that you want from an exchange, if you want to have a lot of coins and affiliate program and some sort of ways to trade in between many coins to create some arbitrage chances and ways to get your money more valuable to trade and what not than your best bet is binance.

Because, it has been paid by people to exist so people that actually use the trading platform had some inside input on it to fix it and it had to face a lot of hacks and always came out very strong and never lost a single penny from their customers even tho all other platforms actually had a lot of shady customer practices so far. Local just gives you fiat for your bitcoin, simple yet effective.

Base on the number of altcoin listed since you're looking best altcoin exchange site I will advice you to use cryptopia, hiveex, binance and bitfinex. Mind you, those exchanges are not anonymous cause they will stored your IP address and they will ask your private information but if you're looking for anonymous exchange crex24 and graviex should be Ok for you.

I suggest to use decentralized exchanges but so far ethereum network only has it like forkdelta, etherdelta (deceased  ;D), IDEX which have the highest volume among all decentralized apps. Try to use that so you could avoid higher fees and those exchanges are pretty easy to navigate, you could also look for tutorials on youtube if you find it hard.

Yes, you are right IDEX exchange is a decentralized exchange but it is base on ethereum coins when you trading transaction, bitcoin is not included on this exchange. Most people choice here is Binance exchange, even me I personally have an account on this exchange and fortunately until now I don't have any trouble when I have a transaction especially in withdrawing the fund.

Best exchange kinda depends on what you want to do. If you want to just purchase bitcoin than your own local localbitcoin or exchange websites are the best options because it creates a great ease of use for you and makes it a lot faster and less stressful to get it. If you want to do daily trading and profit from buying and selling than binance has been great for everyone because it has great volume and it has a lot of coins which would mean decent options to trade daily.

Moreover, if you want to invest and just keep it there for future uses than having coinbase or even (I know it sounds silly) freebitco.in can actually be great. Coinbase because its one of the biggest out there and freebitco.in because it has %4 or so interest rate for keeping your coins there which is a first in bitcoin as far as I know.

Do go for DEXes too, I see mostly mention of CEXes.

They are cheaper and withdrawal fees is negligible.

on the IDEX you can trade up to 10 altcoins, the remaining very small volumes, but the exchange is interesting when listing new coins

I think the best exchange is Exchange which create economic incentives for users because in the world blockchain and cryptocurrency have place only sharing economy! This is my opinion!

For me the best exchange is Binance.  I just had to move a large sum through coinexchange.io and had a pleasant experience.  Huobi is the worst exchange out there.  They locked up over a bitcoin of mine because my yearly withdraw limit was hit.  This information is nowhere on the site and they admit to this being a behind the curtain rule that is not disclosed.  Huobi.pro are absolute thieves. 

Please include bittrex also because it is also one of the good exchange where many people are supporting this exchange. My first preference is always Binance only because they are taking a lot if security measures in order to save the wallets.

This topic is familiar, but then let me say that if you are going to picked the best exchange,  the most popular, secure and safe exchange is Binance, Idex, Idax, Bittrex, Etherdelta, Forkdelta and many more. Try all exchange and make an analysis which one is the best and suit for you.

I see Binance as a huge exchange platform today, but I still want you to try it with Huobi, as it is very easy to use. Huobi is still a huge exchange from China.

Most of the coins are present on Bittrex, Binance and Kucoin. These three are the leaders at this moment and we may see a surge in number of exchanges very soon.

Kucoin and Binance are both good exchanges, but I prefere Kucoin because they have the faster customer suppport.

There are also some hacking at IDEX in the past and it is not completely secure to keep your coins at that exchange. The other option is to keep on moving the token back to Eth wallet after having done the trade but that involves extra fee.

The exchanges the you're mentioned are truly good and I had an great experience for using that.

Yes I definitely agree with exchanges that you said, since the OP is a beginner in crypto world the first thing he should do as a newbie is make a lot of research about on exchanges because it all depends on what coin that you hold.

There are now huge exchanges such as Bittrex, Huobi, Binance. I like it and I'm still trading in Binance right now, and nothing has happened yet. I am completely assured.

I like kraken and binance. Avoid coinbase.

Maybe the market's you have mentioned are good but it was better for new traders to use kucoin because there are no fee's on placing your coins in the market and the fees will only start when you have a transaction on other wallets.

Binance: has usually the most volume.
Kucoin/Crpytopia: good for picking up alts that arent as popular yet

Agree about binance. I think this is the best exchange for newbie and not just for newbie, but for everyone.
Crpytopia is a very good exchange, not so huge like binance, but they have great support and there you can sell many rare altcoins.
Kucoin I think this is hard for newbie.
Just don't use Yobit
Also you can try to trade ERC-20 tokens on DEX exchanges like IDEX.

For me the best exchange is binance for centralized and idex also for decentralized, But too many choices like kucoin then crytopia and the best to do is learn all that exchange to have good backgdround when diving exchanges.

I suggest an exchange that has small transaction fee like uex.com (http://uex.com)  and bitforex.com (http://bitforex.com). They are really a good exchange to start up, like studying the market and its trends. It helps me alot specially they got the tools I need to start like charts and different indicators. As of now, Im happy with the results Im getting with this indicators. Just make sure that don;t give up because at first its very hard to cope up with the loss but as the goes by, it really worth the effort and time.

Binance: They have resumed limited user registrations which will be open for a few hours every day and for the limited number of users. Try your luck!
Bitmex: One of the whales of Cryptocurrency exchange. You can do margin trading, if that’s your thing.
KuCoin: One of the strongest exchange that also offers mobile app (Android and iOS). They have been constantly updating their mobile app to make it one of the best in the industry.
Huobi: Many new cryptos can be found here. Unique approach and something you should signup for in 2018. Offers Exchange specific coin called HT.

when I was a newbie in the world of trading, I only trade on Bittrex exchanges, but lately
Bittrex is out of date because it appeared a variety of new markets, better market such as Binance and Kucoin.

Indeed, there are many traders who have moved to the exchange, as you mentioned, Binance and Kucoin, while at Bittrex I think that is also a very good exchange for trading, but if my advice as a new trader is not wrong for example choosing exchange that moves the price is not too fast, like in Hitbtc, that's not too big a risk in my opinion.

There are thousands of exchanges today. Some are good some are bad. Binance bitrex and okex are good exchanges amoung many. If any coin list on those. there will be a good future for that. I will go with binace since easier for their user frindly UI.

Afterwards you can get an offline wallet or if it 8s an Erc20 then transfer it there. You cannot entrust your tokens thru an exchange. Better keep it in a better way.

Customer support of binance is also fast. I had a problem with my 2FA verification and was easily fixed within 24 hours. So I am voting for them.

I vote for Huobi. Huobi Pro is emerging as a very popular exchange with tremendous trading volume and if you are a frequent investor in ICO projects then this floor cannot be missed.

Crpytopia is a very good, not so big exchange like binansi, but they have great support and there you can sell a lot of rare altcoins.

The best is the one in which you feel you are more comfortable, everyone is going to recommend their favorite exchange but at the end of the day you are the one that needs to try different exchanges and pick the one you like the most, I say this because different people have different needs and you may find an exchange fits your needs better than others while some other people will find the opposite.

To buy altcoins, it is better to choose decentralized exchanges. For example, EtherDelta or IDEX, because I think that they are more reliable and they can not take your money in case of an emergency.

Yeah Binance and Bittrex is the best Exchange now, but I see Kucoin also have more trader trading there. When I'm a beginner I use Bittrex to Learn about trading, there coin having more volume than others Exchange.

Although IDEX exchange is decentralized  but it lacks a lot of features. We can only trade Eth tokens over there and there is no BTC.For me, like many other people here, Binance is the best exchange and the good news is that they have also planned of decentralized exchange in the near future.

It depends on which altcoin you are going to buy since the price varies from exchange to exchange and also you need to consider about the trading fee which might high in some exchange.As far I know Binance is one of the good exchange in terms of support and the fee structure and it also never hacked I think.

Poloniex have a high security and high volume trading. This exchange is very trusted. You can try it with low fund. don’t save your alt at the exchange.

Volume is the no. 1 I look for if I'm not particularly trading for a bias token. If you're also looking for a good buying pattern to trade, you should go first with the liquidity. But it really depends on your motive. The other factors would be are security ofcourse, fee and the tools and features available. Well I'm speaking as a technician here.

Coinbase - another very decent exchange for top cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, etc. Here, unlike in Binance, you can purchase cryptocurrencies using USD with credit/debit card. And, of course, Bitfinex ad CEX for Bitcoin purchasing. I would suggest you to buy alts with BTC or ETH, but not with fiat money.  

It is only depend on what coin you have to buy cause a certain isn't listed in all exchanges especially when it is new in the market.  Bittrex,  kucoin,  Idex and Hitbtc are the exchanges I've commonly visited and it seems to be good for me. Though it have some delays but is just because of transactions traffic causing it and not with the exchanges.

Until November Kucoin is the best exchange because it has no withdraw limits. Binance is #2.  The worst by for is Houbi.  They have taken my Bitcoin and ceased it for 1 year on a rule which was not public.  I would highly recommend not using them.

So, I guess kucoin and bittrex doesnt have the low transaction fee features, but neverthless, those exchange are the best so far.

I usually trade altcoins through Bittrex web. Binance is also the site where you can safely choose altcoins trading. Kucoin is another reliable option. Crytopia is also very suitable if you are in need of gauze altcoins. I invest in some altcoins like Euthereum or Litecoins and usually perform the transaction with the above web. It works so well.

The best depends from many things, and with so many exchanges around I think it`s very hard to find the best one. I changed so many exchanges in 3 years. currently the best one for me is kucoin, they had great summer with so many promotions, giveaways, and I like them because of all that. New exchanges tend to offer many promotions to attract traders, like new casino. it`s the same. I support little ones with good pairs and awesome promotions. It`s not hard to find one, now so many new decentralized exchanges exist, so choosing the best is individual decision. I didn`t stop using bitfinex, poloniex, I am active on binance too, and many others. Where I find most suitable pair for me I go there.
