PCGs are a family of RNGs which use a linear congruential generator as the state-transition function, and use permutation functions on tuples to produce output that is much more random than the RNG's internal state.

PCGs Differ From Classical Linear Congruential Generators In Three Ways
●   The LCG modulus and state are larger, often equalling twice the size of the desired output.
●   it uses a power-of-2 modulus. This results in particularly efficient implementation, having a full period generator and unbiased output bits.
●   The state is not output directly, but rather, the most significant bits of the state are used to select a bitwise rotation or shift, which is applied to the state to produce the output.

PCG was developed by applying TestU01 to reduced-size variants,[7] and by determining the minimum number of internal state bits required to pass BigCrush. BigCrush examines enough data to detect a period of 235, so that even an ideal generator requires 36 bits of state to pass it.

Block Hash Method:

Blockchain provides unpredictable hash numbers. If the miner finds that the value of the bet is much higher than the block reward, they may discard the block, rather than choosing to mine on it. There is also risk involved if there are too many block hashes involved between the first call and the final reward call of the bet. The block hash returns a value of zero if the block hash number exceeds 256. Block hash method is a very unpredictable method for receiving a strong RNG seed.

Combining all the aforementioned methods together, we provide strong and unpredictable RNG generation, which may pass BigCrush tests. This means, the UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) that added the RNG to your balance must sit unspent for 30 days before it becomes eligible to generate a PoS block. Just started mining this coin few days ago with my pool. Was directed over here to post a few questions but after reading these threads have to say its kinda concerning.

My first question is price; Ive searched high n low cant find anything anywhere on value. If search the ticker (RNG) comes up as a different company. Is there no exchanges, not recognized, never been traded, ect.  Dnt understand the pre-mine requirements if some of the coins werent going to set the price.

2nd question is POS/Minting/Staking. I understand concept; use coins to mint blocks. What dont understand is what needs to be done to Mint. Is it automatic? Or do you have to setup something for it. This is all been unclear.

3rd is trying to understand prior history; what is with the bad feedback about dev's and say coins were lost?

This can actually be a decent project if supported by the community. Could use more PoW miners and more volume on Stex.io until more listings come along. The price is currently at least 25% lower and thus profits are 25%+ less than one would earn mining BTC. It should be worth 4 to 5 satoshi if the mining hash power was worth the around same as BTC or DGB. Proof of stake is going to begin fairly soon, so it's a great time to get in early and hold on until it's price has gone up to something a little more reasonable... either by mining or buying considering the price is currently lower than it costs to mine. Difficulty will only increase as time goes on; according to the explorer, overall hashrate has been slowly but steadily increasing along with difficulty. Number of used addresses has also been increasing pretty consistently along with the number of unused addresses. The number of transactions tend to vary wildly per day as the brand new exchange listing (and coin re-launch) gains traction. Luckily, Stex does have quite a bit of volume available to it on the exchange ... it likely just needs some time. As difficulties increase, it will only drive the price up because the cost of mining it goes up just like with BTC.

I'll explain something to you from the viewpoint of someone who mines.  It is far from "free money."  It is an investment in time, equipment, and electricity.  Many of us mine because it supports the chain and we don't have liquid assets to buy into an ico.  Why should those of us who mine be refused the fruits of our labor?  That's a bit like payment being refused to an assembly worker because they weren't able to buy shares in the company where they work.

Now let me explain. Old RNG under the scrypt algo was the part of Fatum ico. Fatum ICO has been fallen. Fatum has not collect any investments and project been closed. That's it! Old Rng coin has been closed with Fatum. If somebody has been interested in the success of old RNG Coin, such person could invest at least something into the ICO and support the coin, but nobody does it, because nobody give a s**t about it. Some people saw an  opportunity to make easy money but instead of it they got nothing.
What you see now it's new rebuilded and redeveloped coin, which has no connection with the previous project. Soon we going to update website with roadmap and whitepaper, where will described future development plan so it has no connection with our previous Rng Coin roadmap.

1. Algorithm has been changed for the coin protection, because of security purposes. Some coins like Ethereum Classic, Vertcoin, Bitcoin Gold and many other has been faced the Sybil attack aka 51% attack. We decide to integrate hybrid algorithm for the security purposes. It's not because of miners or something else.

2. Old Rng Coin has been a part of Fatum ico, part of first stage sales and one of the most important part of gambling structure. Fatum ico has been failed and project has been closed. Old RNG Coin has been closed with Fatum because the ICO was unsuccessful. Again it was not our fault, 2018 was unlucky for many ICO's not only for us.
