In crypto world everything is possible . We could just cross our fingers and hope for the best . But i honestly think that this year is not going be like last year . I mean the bitcoin's price wont surpass $20k , after the market crash i personally think it scared away those investors from last year . But who knows , people can be dumb and go straight for risk . For without it , we can never go forward .

The video shows Bitcoin against Dollar getting down on every month, as well as Bitcoin users who are reduce to doing Trading activities.
But in my opinion. In April until now, Bitcoin has started to increase again and people have started a lot of trading. so an estimate of Tom Lee, it could happen, Bitcoin will reach to the price of 25K back.

After every pullback each year btc has ended even higher than ever.  So I do hope btc ends up at $25k this year.

That is quite a wild guess  because with a look at the state of the bearish market and how several altcoins are spranging it would be diffictult for bitcoin to rise up to that level. I rather expect it to hit 15k by then end of this year so that those we can further anticipate for an increased in subsequent years.

What is the role of Tom Lee in crypto world? None of us can make the price going the way we want.

But there is one thing we now for sure. That is we need the volume back. What happened in December 2017 was that we had a huge amount volume into the market which triggered a huge demand and made the price "tipped".

Lot of prediction made for the future of bitcoin before this year 2018 ends. Most of my research says that bitcoin has the brightest future among all other bitcoin that for them it will reach as much as $50k this 2018. But for me, its hard to say that, crypto has been unstable and hard to predict the future. Just keep believing to the coin you are holding and make sure you have all the information about it.

I really disagree with the above comments. Because the market is being manipulated, the economy of some continents is in decline. The strong development of Bitcoin is very difficult because the capitalization is greatly reduced. The whales are being hurt, and their capital has plummeted, so the Cryptocurrency market will not be pumped by the end of 2018.

While I don't agree with the bold prediction of 25k by the end of this year, I think the drop to 5k isn't too steep of a prediction. I think it's very possible that bitcoin will drop, but I think it'll actually reach somewhere closer to 10k by the end of this year as we might see start ups and current companies adopt the currency after seeing it stick to the same price for a while. A major concern about Bitcoin was that it'll drop at any point; however, a strong amount of time where bitcoin holds its current price could be beneficial in terms of those on the fence about its uses.

I mean, the volatility is so high(as expected) that pretty much almost anything is possible. It can be $10k, $20k, $50k, or $5k and I wouldn't be surprised if the EOY price of bitcoin is one of the prices I've listed. Time will tell. People shouldn't be spending so much time focusing on the price anyway.

I believe that there is always a possibility to rise but we cannot really predict the exact amount of it. Bitcoin is really amazing but it is always depend upon the volume of the user or maybe investors around the globe, so I believe that it will become more exciting in the next few days. Well, i don't believe in predictions anymore because there are lot of them this year but it did not happen as desired like they say bullish run will start on May but still we are in difficult and keep on holding while waiting for the moon with uncertainly. Hope to bitcoin can reached to $25,000 in the end of 2018 years, now bitcoin have lower price and touch at $7,000 price but have potential can reached to $25,000 in end of this years. This might happen I think there are many speculation and prediction that happened. Last year there is a prediction that bitcoins price will go down again in 2018 and now its happening today. Well as for me pretty sure my it will only reach the 15k to 20k$ before 2019.

I think so it will reach deifnetely the previous highs ie 20k mark easily by end of the year. Yes it is possible to happen, As in the past year the bitcoin price was up to 20,000 $ and it happened during December to January.

It is not just possible, it is highly probable that Bitcoin will be reaching 25,000 USD at the end of the year. The lowest that Bitcoin will reach at the end of this year will be 22,000 USD. That is my speculation. We are still long away from the end of 2018. There are still so much things that could happen in the middle. What I know though is that we are already approaching the bull season, especially when we finally enter the ber months.

BTC is very unpredictable because the prices may abruptly change anytime. Thus, I can say that the price may hit $25K by the end of 2018 or even more. I just read this. BTC can be unpredictable just like most coins. But I wouldn't doubt it. I do have my hopes up. As mentioned by others, we are still a long way till the end of 2018 so it is definitely possible. It did reach 17k last year so why not? As I said, it's unpredictable.

Well, i wouldn't rule out anything about the price of bitcoin, as it has broken all records last year, so it can again pump and break all prediction and create a new high.

Yes, I too think that's very much possible. Big investors are waiting to get in the crypto after some clarification comes on it's regulation from US. Also Bitcoin ETF applications has been applied by some of the renowned traders in US, if that's been cleared by the end of august 2018, I think we can go to $35k by mid dec for sure. It will open the floodgate of money into the crypto, having my fingers crossed :)

I believed on it because bitcoin now is very different from before. It is now being trending around the world and most of the people especially businessmen now are likely to engaged with this kind of investments because they knew that it can surely gained more profits and savings in the near future.

Bitcoin is very unpredictable. No one can know for sure if it will happen. One thing I know for sure is it will be 25,000 at some point in atlesstn1-2 years.

Tom Lee a terrible predictor. In general, do not rely on the predictions of such "characters". The market is so volatile, so that we can see bitcoin at $2000 or $30000. Where the whales "swim" - we'll go there...

I think 25k dollars is so low, why not 50k? Remember that last year Bitcoin went from 6,5k to 20k in just 35 days, so anything can happen in this cryptoworld ;)

This forecast is completely justified, many would like such growth. But I do not think that this is really possible now. Because when people expect they almost always follow a different scenario.

Hopefully that happens, because i believe that bitcoin value by the end of this year will surprise us all like the year 2017 ago.
If that happens then there will be a lot of people who get rich suddenly by the end of this year, and i will not be wasting this wonderful opportunity by buying bitcoin then saving it until the price actually increases to $ 25,000 even more than that.

I think Bitcoin will make a hit in 2018 and reaching 25k is an easy thing. Because Bitcoin and cryptocurrency prices are in a convert state and many new ICO will enter in the market, they provide solutions for bigger problems. Bitcoin can be predicted and market capitalization will grow when new projects come into operation from mid-to late 2018.

No one knows dude, maybe he's right or wrong, in cryptocurrency every price projection is possible, but one thing i can assure you we will see a drastically pump of Bitcoin in last quarter of the year.

2018's end is still a long way to go. There might be a huge happening before the year ends that will bring the price to 5000$. We can never know. We just have to believe that it will happen and hold on to our bitcoins. Being optimistic is a good thing, but we also have to be cautious.

For now i think it is nearly impossible to happen because i do not see things the way it should be right now. As i have been thinking that it could not beat the 2017 peak market price for bitcoin and talking about 25K USD is huge enough to achieve and that whats make me think that speculation in the likes of that will not happen.

Yes, it is really a possibility. December is a peak season so it has a higher percentage of reaching at its peak also. We must all be prepared for that time to come.

Nobody can guarantee that the statement in the OP and in the video attached will happen. Remember that this is cryptocurrency, in which we are very volatile. In addition, this is considered as an investment so nothing is for certain. I admit that I want to see those figures this year. However, I always expect for the worse. In the video, the only basis for the bull run is the statistics based from historical data of Bitcoin. Although Math does not lie, we should be aware that past performance of any king does not justify any performance in the future.

I've only been into cryptocurrency for about 1 year at least and so I conclude that anything could happen by the end of the year. Bitcoin could surpass its all time high way beyond or it could fall. Let us base everything in the market history. Every year, Bitcoin is increasing in price no matter how much it fall through out the year, but then what if Bitcoin repeats itself? No one knows what will happen exactly but I am hoping for the bright future of Cryptocurrencies specially Bitcoin.

You expect too high. I think it is impossible for BTC to increase to such a price, the market is gradually stabilized and controlled by many countries. I think it is impossible for BTC to get that price.

$25k is very possible or near in the reality because if noticed the price of the bitcoin increased to $20k. My expectation to your prediction is times 2 which is $50k. Better to buy more bitcoin now and hold it for few months and you will gain more money if you buy bitcoin now.

That's a huge speculation and seems to be hard dealing with it. I'm not on the negative side but I don't think that bitcoin could make it. We aren't in the start of its recovery and I don't feel to have a huge incline trend in the coming days. it could only have a huge possibilities of reaching it into $15k than of $25k by the end of this year.

The same trend in the BTC movement in 2017 is likely to repeat itself this year. MCFee predicted it to go uptrend in this month but still nothing as happened yet. Let's hope the prediction is right and it goes back to the all time high.

That 25k is just a prediction but there's a tends as well because tom lee already knows bitcoin will fluctuate many times and it will climb little bit after and it happened . See there are many similar threads on this forum but noticing the current market situation it is clear that prices are down and bull run has still not hit the market and market is still floating between up and down so it can be concluded that btc cannot hit $25k by this year end but it can hit upto $15000 by last of 2018.

There is a huge chance that it will surpass its previous price which is $19k dollar because there are more country that has been legalize this year for cryptocurrency and the demand obviously increase.

I think in this year bitcoin can not reach 25k. it will be difficult because the current bitcoin is still low. probably next year the new bitcoin will reach 25k.

That is Tom Lee, one of the popular person that has been a supporter of bitcoin. $25,000 isn't an impossible price to increase for this year. Last year, it was also an impossible milestone to reach $20,000 but we have seen it and its likely to come again.

It will be very difficult to see it happening, but i am still very confident in bitcoin and that the price will be going up with no doubts, i think that maybe we will see those numbers at the middle of 2019, or maybe a little bit before that date

Too much effort for a solo act; if you ask me. He's been on a solo rally for quite a while now, and I don't think he's given any viable or concrete perspective to his logic other than the rise in crypto interest which has apparently only stabled the price in the range of 5k-7k average in the past few months. While am a strong proponent of the bitcoin protocol, I don't think the easy way out - hype - should be the instrument or motivation for adoption. Despite the astronomical increase in the cryptocurrency support community, there's still so much evolution left before we enter another tangible bull-run.

Friends, 25k at the end of the year is tough, the market is currently falling low, and for a jump up to 25k feels very unlikely, and more likely at the end of the year is 10k - 12k.

Most of the cryptocurrency analyst are expecting for the price of bitcoins to rise up to $50k dollars because of new countries that has been legalized by their government to use bitcoins.

Seeing any sort of bullish market by the end of this year is extremely optimistic, as the bear market still hasn't reached the bottom, the price can go below $6,000 any day as this level is being tested quite frequently. So, finding the bottom would probably take another 3-4 months, and after that there might be some period of stagnation like it always happens. And when the new bull run will finally start, it will be relatively slow at the beginning, so even with best circumstances 10-12k is very unlikely, my optimistic scenario is 7-8k.

It could be possible but I only think is just only 5% of from occurring. Bitcoin price isn't that huge growth since from 1st quarter, we are in 3rd quarter but never seen recovery to show that it will surge again as what happen last year. I doubt it could make it again this year, maybe is just only reaching into $15k before year ends.

Although i'm sick and tired with these predictions because most of these did not really happen as desired in which the crypto market specially Bitcoin is still in difficult with 5 months left before this year would end but this is better than spreading FUD because it will just make the current performance to become worst so we will just hope again that this is true then lets just wait and see.

why ? because we need to make a healthy movement,it's totally pointless for those country to legalize it if Bitcoin moves like crazy(for example last year).
regulation/legalization means it has been approved by goverment,in other word they will try to stabilize it to keep their investor and people from manipulation.

For this market that's already good price at the end for this year.

We are not yet sure about this one and we should not be carried away by the sudden increase in the market price of Bitcoin because the market is still volatile so it is still advisable to hold and be patient at times like this. Holding is more recommended than sellinh already because there's still a tendency for more price increase eventually given that there are months remaining and it is too early to make predictions.

I have read some news earlier today and many say bitcoin will reach last years levels and it will go beyond them. I think this peak is good but talking about $25K, I don't think this is going to happen, not this year. I hope investors will be smarter this time and not create balloon but I have feeling that investors will create balloon again.

It seems that in this year bitcoin will not reach 25k, the current bitcoin price is too low and it will be hard for bitcoin to reach 25k by the end of this year. the price of 25k will be more likely to be achieved by bitcoin in 2019.

Countries legalization cannot increase the market cap of bitcoin. Price totally depends upon demand from all over the world. When the market cap increases the price will also increase, besides I a government legalize bitcoin it doesn’t guarantee that the price will also increase and upto $50k? No way. Indeed bitcoin price is really unpredictable to speculate. How ever the ratio of the possibility is far beyond the impossibility.
What I mean is that, the percentage of bitcoin to imcrease and reach that specified amount is at least 65% possible.

yes you are right bitcoin can touch the price of $ 25k at the end of 2018 and I also believe this year will happen a new high price that could create a new record for bitcoin prices later this year.

I also think that it is unlikely to increase to 25k $. Do not expect such sharp increases as in the end of last year. People after such spectacular price drops will be much more cautious in investing their money. Therefore, potential increases may be much slower.

That can happen when an investor adopts a large amount of bitcoin so that the bitcoin price can soar and break through 25k. All can happen because bitcoin prices depend on demand and supply in the market.

No one can predict the future, many traders expect $4k and $3k yet and we are at just $7k right now, it is too long for reach $25k and i guess that there is no time to hit this year.

$25k is exaggerated and it will be speculative prediction who ever if does so, but $10k is quite low, even if it doesn't hits back its record high, but $15k I firmly believe it will touch within Q4 2018. I don't know about anything but whales will play there way as they play every year. And moreover there are some news pending which can even slightly but will for sure help start a run on a positive note.

$15k will only be the closest the bitcoin can hit. We need to accept that the situation does not favor us and the signs has already been given to us on the first half of they year. There is still another year to expect and let just move on from this upsetting year.

it will really happen when the volume continues to rise as it is now, the turn of the past year too.
but what can this year repeat again, it seems I am very sure to repeat seeing a bitcoin candle trading in a stable move.
