  Thank you for giving info. Thank you for being polite.  I also want to mention the early shipping date of Feb 24 is still 5 days off. So the issued refunds so far have all came before that date.  If the gear would have shipped on the 24th of feb  It would have setup around the 1st of March.

I also want to mention I left 5 shares in So it could be why my other  7 were refunded rather quickly.



Okay no one  that received a refund is reporting this info.

I understand why people with no refund yet will report.  (they want the refund)

I will go back through the   17 thread as I know at least 5 people said they got a refund.

I feel that would make results not accurate.    for example 2 people said they want 100 share refunds  pulling that info and putting here would show 200 shares not refunded.  but for all I know they got their refunds and did not bother to tell me.

I can't login to request a refund.  I get "Email not found" error with every browser.

It's definitely the only email I used as I got an order confirmation email.  I emailed orders@dzminercoop.com (forwarding my confirmation email) in the hope that someone would get my email and refund me.

Asked on 2014-02-12 Received my refund today. That's 1 week when they did state it could take longer. Difference between what I spent and what I received was about 8% of my BTC investment instead of 1.5%. Not complaining, just reporting: It was only 2 shares, not a lot of difference here. For those receiving bigger refunds where that kind of error may cost you significant BTC, you may want to check the math. However, there may have been some kind of fee from their service processor for the orders making this refund accurate.

I got destroyed on trans fees on some of them... but it shouldnt have been off by 8%

I will post updates when i get back to my philipma1957 computer.  but it looks like some refunds were made today.  oh to the shortchanged person 8 % vs 1.5 %  .  I thought the same thing with my  refund but I did my calculations in fiat.  not in btc.

I paid in 910 in fiat and got back 823 in fiat. but if i did an actual btc in and btc out. it was about 98 percent and sice there were 7 shares in 5 orders there could have been rounding errors.

No, it was most definitely BTC values. Taken to full decimal places and no rounding, 8.088% restocking fee. If I make the .0005 transaction fee my responsibility that becomes 7.8882%. The total amount I am short, again without rounding, is 0.016485898. This is BTC in, BTC out. I even double checked my emails with the blockchain.info transactions to make sure the amount was correct. I'm not complaining, just warning that people should double check.

They said it was whatever your payment method. Most people paid in BTC (either directly or by converting USD). I didn't know there was even an option to pay directly in USD on this one but maybe there was. So if you paid in BTC and didn't get the same BTC back (less "restocking" fee), you have a valid complaint.

I realize that those being paid may hesitate to let me know and of course those still waiting will be more likely to say where is the btc ?

It appears that  a 100  share refund was asked for and not given.

It appears that 1/2 of a second 100 share refund was paid and the second half has not been given.

IT APPEARS that a 50 share refund has not been done. 

  so that is 50 given out of 250 asked and 200 being waited on. these seem to be the big whales  any info would help.

 Also some 2' 5' 6' and 7' not given. 


 It is the 24th of feb.  if the world was a nicer place the r 17 would have  started to ship today.  so by fri or sat we would have been hashing. well at least the early orders.  so far no one has been shorted hash.  so if refunds are done by sat or sun. the loss would be the 1.5% fee.  not too bad.  Of course we are hoping the rest of the refunds get done. soon!!

A post on the main R17 thread, plus 2 PMs with full details of share purchase numbers, e-mail, Hashed signature message and "please contact if you need any further information."  Nothing.

I sent him 1 pm with the order #s and the payout address and a signed msg for safe measure so sounds like you did everything right.  My guess would be the larger orders are taking more time which would explain why the 100 share refunds and the 50 share refund haven't gone through yet.  Give Bob time... he'll take care of it.

Or maybe he's holding off so he can deliver good news to you high rollers before you make a mistake and get a refund..... I'm gonna be pissed if there's good news and I miss out on R17... so much potential.

When I bought most of my DZ shares, Bitcoin was over $800 I think.

I have been picking some up today and almost all of it in the 400's.

I can explain the longer wait, you purchased shares from others and not full orders calculations needed to be made for all transferred shares (going both ways sold / bought)

Yeah I suspect the collapse of BTC has motivated the refunds, easy profit for bobsag3 since the product was priced in $. I noticed my invoice from DZ was in $, so there is a good case for demanding repayment in $. or BTC at todays $ equivalent on invoice.

this may be true.  I was fortunate that my 12 shares were done across 7 orders.  So when i asked for refund of 7 shares I picked the orders that matched closely to the current btc price.


Think of it this way:

guy a  did an order for 10 shares = 1300 when btc was max at 1150   guy a  paid 1.1304 btc

guy b did an order for 10 shares = 1300 when btc was around 450      guy b paid 2.8889 btc


so I am doing refunds   which guy do I refund first?  duh guy a

My breakdown of refunds does not bring this up. here is why  I can tell you if you did this on a cash basis and not a btc basis  the refund choice would be  pay guy b.

yeah they did a lot but not all.  I thought they were going to skip out, but they surprised me.

Heck Thomas_s went out of his way to fix my doa ant miner s-1 sold to me by sushi-review. The fix was a replacement at no cost. Thanks to him I am now using 4 s-1's in house.

they have paid over 300 shares back.  Hopefully the rest get done in 1-2 weeks time.

I was so surprised about the refunds being paid I decided to keep 5 shares of this round.  I used the refund for the other 7 shares to buy  one extra ant miner s-1.

I have more than enough BTC to cover the rest of refunds, I have been away with thomas and our partners at the Texas BTC conference, And I have all the refund funds on a cold wallet back in Denver. Refunds will resume tomorrow.

I sent the email as noted above on Sunday the 9th and recieved the refund on Monday the 10th... While I am disappointed about the group buy going south, about Black Arrow in particular, a little disappointed about the transparency, I have to say they Bobsag_s and DZ seem to be stand up guys...

Finally got a reply to refund request by emailing them directly, and Matt fucking refers me back to here to PM a Thomas.  I don't have any idea who Thomas,  is this a bad Troll attempt?  What a pain in the ass this has been.  Unprofessional as all hell. 

That would be thomas_s, the guy who took ALL OF THE PAYMENTS in R17. He wrote the spread sheet, hence why he would need to be referenced. He also has access to the dzmc site, witch for reasons on conflict of intrest, I do not have assess too.

I made payment directly to a DMZ coop website.  Ok after looking him up in the members area he has a PM with the exact info I have sent to support that Matt replied to.  We will see how long it takes after this to get the refund on my money. 

I got an email back saying I got refunded however, bitcoin-qt conveniently started up today saying I need to re-index. pisses me the fuck off. Bobsag3 knows what I mean. I'll find out next week sometime when it gets finished unless someone else has some sort of trick to speed this shit up.

If the BTC is confirmed back to your address in the blockchain that is a much more permanent and sure record that the transaction is a done deal than a flaky wallet app.  Just check it at blockchain.info.

When ever I create any new address in a wallet, the next thing I do immediately is a wallet backup, encrypt and archive.  That way any transactions to the new addresses are now independent of the wallet since I have a fresh backup that includes all public and private keys for the new addresses and all my old addresses.

You know this was never a good idea in the first place.  Damn glad I got my refund back since these pools just add to the consolidation of the mining hashes and furthering the possibility of a 51% attack.  With so many who are scaling so fast in the mining arms race I see this bringing some disastrous effects on Bitcoin sooner or later.. I think I will take my refund and invest it into vert or darkcoin..  Thanks again guys for trying to get this one off the ground, hope it works out for all involved.

I got 20 of my 25 shares, in true form of dzcorps worst customer service possible they seem to have lost my other order, I replied to let them know it's showing on their site still just like I did over a month ago and no reply. So glad I got out of all the rounds with these guys, hope I can get my last 5 shares somehow.

Order 693 was refunded 3 days after order 1012 was refunded the same business day it was requested, the order wasn't lost it was paid over 24 hours after the order was placed, the site never accounted for it because of that.

Why are some people getting refunds within one hour of sending an email?

It's been well over a month for me and I've given the requested info over and over again via PM and email without any response.  Is there something wrong with my order?

I requested refund of 12 shares via BTC from Order #1234 via PMs to bobsag3 on 18th and 28th Feb (also logged on the main R17 thread). No response or refund received. Also requested via email to support at minersource.net on 15th March, to be told:

'I am showing these shares as having been previously refunded already.'

I have not received a refund (1B38X8kxy35h8zyKowNTjQWABF1bTUvqpU), and have emailed support at minersource.net to request their record of the refund supposedly given. No response as of now.

I'd appreciate this being looked into, and am hoping there is an honest mistake behind this that can be corrected.

I have dragged this thread back up in an effort to finish off all of round 17 group buy of Dz Coop.


Minersouce   bob Dz and thomas did this group buy and due to the wonderful efforts of Black Arrow lots of us got crushed.

A lot of people were refunded but to this day there are requests for refunds.  So I figured  maybe I could reorganize this thread.

I have no affiliation with minersource or DzCoop I was burned about 500 used on this buy.  I got a refund in btc many months after the fact it was not as much as the original cash value


IIRC I put in 1300 usd and got back 800 usd.  but equal amounts of BTC.

If you are insisting that you want equal cash back vs equal btc back most likely it is not going to happen on this list.  Most of us on this list were refunded equal or close to equal btc.
