I'm not interested in buying or investing in ico projects because the crypto market conditions are decreasing. and I see the ico tokens at the time of the crypto market are decreasing in price or not in accordance with the price offered during the token sales of the project.

too large number of scam and ICO that does not reach the target I think enough to make investors fret. they entered in the ICO to look for results and if such circumstances will certainly make investors a little disappointed with the results. so, of course, the investor to choose selectively prosecuted for ICO.

Hell yeah. I am still investing on ICO even though there are a lot of scam happening in here. I believe that some of them had a really good intention, Somehow I do really claim some profits out of ICO. All you need to do is believe and make sure that the ICO your investing at is legit.

I also think that now is not the best time to invest in ICOs. If a project seems attractive, but the timing is bad, it will probably die because of failing on its first exchanges. IMO the chances of such a project to be noticed again are very low. The projects which are already in the top, however, are different. If a coin made it to, say, top-50 on coinmarketcap, investing now might be a great idea, because when the market finally recovers, this coin will do the same thing.

I guess you really need to do a lot of homework and study the ICO that most interesting to you. Of course there is the chance the you might get screwed up, so perhaps invest what you can afford. So far for me, I haven't been in any scam ICO yet, maybe I'm just lucky. But I just advise everyone used their common sense. Goodluck.

IMHO .ICOs still good even in 2018. They have the potential to raise millions of dollars on investment and returns according to me, it can be a great source of return if you invest your money on on the right project. Well Surely its not scam maybe they not reach they're softcap. theres a lot of ICO's experiencing of that. investing on ICO? Yes Its Good There's a lot of ICO's who's succeeding even the projects objective is not good enough. a lot of ICO's has a good Project the problemi is the investor its always at the demand if they can hit theyre target. You can avoid the scam icos if you don't treat the warning signals with levity. Do your research carefully, looking at the roadmap and don't ignore the FUD around it if you notice any because there is truth somewhere in some FUD. If you are satisfied, icos can be a very good money for investors.

I have participated in so many icos but i have done so many research about that and i'm so happy that i never get scammed by ico. I just get the big return by participating in the ico. ONT, ZIlliqa and many more.
You need to do a deep research before trying to participate in anything especially ico which have involved very high risk for your money.

Thoroughly investigate the company before investing it. If at least one of the doubts has overcome you, then brace it and do not invest. But in my opinion a lot of great companies in which you can invest your investments.

I've not participated in many ICO's, but the ones i did participate in I made sure to do my research. Despite this, most of the ICO's I got involved in dropped below ICO prices in the months following the crowdsale (mainly due to the bear market). I've learnt now that any ICO i'm interested in that i'm beeter off just waiting until token gets listed & buy sometime thereafter when the price dumps.

I think i have given up investing in ico-s.. but not so because of scams.. more like because the ico-s are overpriced and will be corrected when they come on exchanges

In my own opinion, I would have to prefer to invest in altcoins since it is already available in the crypto market rather than on ICO. There are many ICO's that are actually good only during token sale but when the time token sale ended, some ICO's will be gone in thin air and for some ICO's price value drops drastically leaving the investor's very disappointed.

For me, I don't invest money in different ICO's at all. Since I don't have the money to do so because I am still a student. However, the ones that I invest is my time and effort in doing campaigns, most especially Signature Campaigns. I believe in its future so I continue to invest my time and effort in it.

You've better buy on sale once the token is on an exchange. ICOs became less profitable, but you can still earn on bounties.

I think this news just wants to drop the crypto. although I admit there are many ico who become scam, but the investors and members in this forum have been well aware about it. this is why we really need regulation to be able to limit ico which is really a scam and like having a letter of feasibility test.

It is always worth considering serious new business ventures rathter they be IPO, ICO, or even local small businesses.  Ask yourself, is there a requirement that needs to be filled and does this business meet that requirement?  A lot of the new ICOs are scams and they are easy to figure out.  If there's no team, is there a product?  Maybe it's still a good ICO.  But if there's no team, no product and no proof of any kind then you should stay far away.

ICO investment is still a risky thing to do but it looks like the only rewarding avenue if it is in a profitable project. Some project have done x2  to 4x even with the stormy markets. More large investment looks more rewarding than smaller ones. Imagine the investment of $100k in quarkchain that made x4.2 in 45 days.  There are many more even this year, its about the choice of project.

Definitely invest in the good ones. There are always good ones as well. But be careful, watch out for the scam, and do your own research!! The upside potential in good ones is much greater than in the established ones. Upside multiples can be a totally different game. You just need to do your research carefully and don't trust ICO listing sites etc. because ratings can be bought.
