I can tell you etherium is best of altcoin for a long term (month, years). With ETH, you can invest in almost of ICO, because they built on the ERC20 platform.

I think ICO's token is not for long term.. After all you have no idea how's the price is after token's released to exchange. Long term coins are listed on exchange. Personally suggest you to buy ETH now, because ETH is cheap now.
