Bitcoin has been correcting from the range of $7,300 - $7,400 but never went down to $7,200 so that's why alts are the ones that are tanking.

When we talk about crypto, we need to understand that the crypto currencies do fluctuate and this is the nature of the crypto currencies. Just look at the number of coins have come up with bitcoins existence and its massive growth. Though many ICOs did not succeed, many do stand and own the projects. This is the growth of alt-coins. Last 6 months have been challenging for all altcoins; growth as like bitcoin. Just wait and see their marvelous growth n the coming months.

And the only thing I want, is that bitcoin is now falling back to 6.000, so that people would finally understand that the market of crypto-currencies - does not consist from only bitcoin. And it's silly to talk about decentralization, a free market, and lack of dependence, when the price of just one coin is able to crush down the entire market.

I think it's really normal cause it always happen like that in each pump, BTC and ETH will go first then other alts will follow after that. Last year, after BTC reached to $20k, all other altcoins also reached to their new ATH price, especially XRP had increased so many times :).

HOwever, if you are holding shit coin, everything can happen to you. It can increase up to the moon or go down without any brake. ETF hype grew so bitcoin price went up that meant altcoins got dumped. then ETF was rejected so the hype went away and bitcoin dropped, and that meant altcoins got dumped hard. what is new about this? nothing. it is the same thing that always happens. "money" doesn't go from bitcoin to altcoins or vice versa. it is bitcoin that goes into altcoins so that it can be increased when they get pumped. and then it is bitcoin that is being pulled out of altcoin market when people want to participate in the rises and falls of bitcoin which means altcoin get dumped. but when bitcoin is pulled out of altcoin market or goes back in the price of bitcoin versus USD doesn't change because you are not pulling USD out or in. you are pulling BTC out and in. Alts always suffer during times like these, so it's pretty risky to invest in alts. But I still do, and I'm sure a lot of you do too.

When BTC undergoes a sudden pump, altcoins dump a bit because money starts flowing towards BTC. But in some days, altcoins too follow the suite. People start getting in altcs as well because when BTC sustain the pump, it could be a start of bullish cycle and people take this as a positive news which reflects in the price. Bitcoins are being pushed up to increase, and large amounts of money from altcoin is taken for inclusion in Bitcoin so lower altcoin is understandable. But I suspect that this is the way whales lead the market and deliberately make the altcoin fall off to buy on good coin cheap. Need to understand on thing. When we talk about crypto, we need to understand that the crypto currencies do fluctuate and this is the nature of the crypto currencies. Just look at the number of coins have come up with bitcoins existence and its massive growth. Though many ICOs failed, many stood up with their best projects in the market. This is the growth of altcoins .

That's what everyone is thinking, bitcoin went up then also altcoins were at the same level then bitcoin went down then also altcoins were at same level, although some were in red but majority was still at the same level.
