A great deal of cryptocurrency proponents are hoping for a positive outcome when the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) decides on whether or not they will approve the latest bitcoin-based ETF application file by Cboe. The US regulator had asked for public opinion concerning the ETF again, and this time around the number of responses sent to the regulator is 10X the amount that was sent this past April. What do you guys think?

It does not anymore matter if bitcoin etf will be implemented or not since bitcoin as it is now is already good. But after reading your posts I guess there is a 80% probability that the ETF will be approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission. But it is unclear if the ETF will bring about a good and positive impacts on bitcoin and or its market value will go up or not.

this is just showing how a lot of people want it to happen, which is pretty weird if you ask me! nobody really gains anything if ETF is approved, most people don't even know what ETF is! I think newbie investors are starting to get restless and want profit soon which is why they are rooting for ETF to be approved because they mainly speculate a huge rise if it is.

yes I thing eveyone is expecting something like this and as per the market progressing I don't think it is really a impossible matter but still it a long way to go specially in case of India so nothing can be surely announced this early

Sure I'm expecting the ETF to be approve, so it will rise the value of BTC. This rise in value can only be determine by the decision of SEC and we are all expecting are all expecting positive outcome.

If the authorities will approve the Bitcoin ETF it will have the positive impact likely SEC is putting bitcoin as an asset.

I think that ETF applications are a great way to boost the bitcoin price after several months of bear market.
Can you prove that the number of responses was 10X than past April?Atleast post a link to the orignal article.

Probably the CBOE ones will not be declined, but not accepted too. They will take some weeks to decide better ( they can delay), and then probably accepted.. but the other ETF don't know if will be accepted, will see.

They are obviously trying to find some "good" news in order to make it as a trigger for a price pump for Bitcoin. Here in the world of cryptocurrency trading where almost 95% of the news we see that don't affect Bitcoin is surprisingly affecting it as a lot of people are making it as some kind of catalysts to start the price movement in favor of what they want. The latest is the rumors surrounding the ETFs that with it, it has triggered the price rally we have lately seen.

Why do you think they file a request for ETF approval if they are not gaining any thing from it? It definitely has a lot of profit stored for those who bought cheap bitcoins and waiting for the price to go up just to make a really big profit, I think many people could gain from ETF or at least from it's news alone.

In any new upcomings deals in cryptocurrency system however or whatever it is ,the question and most important here is if this deals can be able to gives benefits to this system and help it to be much broad and meet it's legalization all over the world and reach it's fully adaptations or this deals are only using this system for the sake of their own success. Hopefully that deal can help this system therefore a huge of people can be much benefited from it.

Indeed bitcoin is popular now-a-days if SEC approved ETF it will be felt more positive impact on bitcoin. But it’s duty of ETF to be responsible to rise bitcoin always.

Bitcoin is a great thing to boost ETF. Bitcoin will get better if you get the approval. Investors will be more secure than before. They will increase the investment in hopes of more profit.

 bitcoin already placed in top position in crypto market i don't think it's actually matter for bitcoin. If bitcoin etf decesion are accepted hopefully the bitcoin price will more increase/

Well we are moving towards making crypto a regular currency. But only time will tell how everything will be play out. It's still a dangerous game

I think this ETF issue will impact to bitcoin price and now the indication is along together with reversal pattern of bitcoin to push the price as high as now and will push harder to get much higher if ETF issue has been closed by the SEC approval for bitcoin.

There is a big impact after a few hours of releasing a news from CNBC and coindesk about 2nd time proposal rejection the bitcoin price and other altcoins is not starting to drop again back I thought that the movement of the price will continue to increase its value again back above to $10k value or more but I heard that there is a 3rd time proposal and I hope that they can approve it.

impact is difficult to predict, may be up or down. but with the actions of the US Securities Exchange (SEC) this will impact on the big impact. and the presence of a highly responsive public response, they are probably already aware of the positive impact of that. the public is too smart to be aware of it.

yes a big chance of happening everyone is optimistic the price will be rising because of this news about etf

But we still have more ETF's to wait, these news are only about Winklevoss twins application of ETF.
I've thought of this as a FUD before but news about it are already scattered.

According to ICO there is above 90% chance that Bitcoin will have ETF approval.This will surely make more opportunities for investors to invest in Bitcoin, having an official approval from ETF.

If the ETF is accepted, Bitcoin will become a global currency. Everyone will trust and invest in Bitcoin. This may increase the price of Bitcoin. But if the ETF is not accepted, many will abandon the investment in Bitcoin

Recent ETFs are the most concerned of the crypto world. Everyone thinks that ETFs will be accepted and Bitcoin prices are rising. But I think the ETF will be rejected because they still thinks Bitcoin is not safe and easy to manipulate.

At least the approval decision will be postponed a couple of times.

third time is the charm. i hope next time there will be more support and enthusiasm towards crypto to get all approvals

is it really the third time? i thought there has been a lot of these ETFs and each had retries for at least one more time so far. i  know Winklewoss ETF was proposed at least 3 times. so in total i think we are about at 10-12 times :D

Crypto-space is going to see something good, I am feeling after reading this discussion. BTC has already got a good market price this year that indicates it will go high. If after public opinion goes positive in SEC and a good decision comes BTC will outreach its own value this year.

As far I know the us regulator asked for public opinion about bit coin ETF. The 90 percent result was positive. I think Sec will approved ETF very soon after that it will bring out positive image most importantly price also go up.

From my point of view everything is so positive. The regulator asked for public opinion about bitcoin EFT. Almost 90 percent people are react positively for this issue. So I believe it will approve by SEC.

Such coin will not have any effect on bit coin as bit coin is already established. But according to the news; I can say that this etf will be approved as it has gotten many responses. But we cannot say anything about their impact on this market after the launching.

I am putting my trust on that, because we need to develop somehow and continue on going! Probably ETF will be the thing which will improve us on the way we go.

According to my assumption, some uncle with a large wallet has bitcoin, thus he will definitely try to wait for the approval of the ETF at any cost to cash out his crypto currency! And for us, it will give a good profit.

We will most likely not see a decision this month, but it's going to come. Sec is not there to stop BTC nor it is there to tell people what they can or cannot invest into. They're only trying to make it safer and make sure the people who are launching ETFs know what they're doing.  Winklevoss twins didn't because they wanted to launch ETFs through their own small exchange that could at any moment get hacked and all people's savings would disappear. If you want to do it you have to be bigger than that and CBOE surely is.

I believe that once SEC will approve the ETF that will happen soon in September 21, 2018, this may have a positive impact in the cryptocurrency market. Thus, it may have the chance of pulling the down trend mode back to the usual market it was before like btc @ 7.5K USD and other altcoins to follow bringing back the market back to it's positive condition.

I think the issue I being taking more time than  its suppose to be and it seemed everything depends on it. But this is actually going to take more time than we expected. It might be a  intentional act just to frustrate investors and the community. Whichever way, we are here to stand with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency.

If the ETF would be posponed again which is more likely to happen probably bitcoin price may try to settle down or this should be a short recovery in an uptrend direction as the rejection of etf seems already slowly absurb by the crypto market and investors may try to start accumulsting if this sell down would continue. lets se if on november the bakkt would be come in reality and help boost bitcoin price

I think we should try and look beyond this ETF and SEC issues. It might be a form if distraction and manipulation in this spaces. We will just keep our holes high and we might wait and nothing will happen. Lets keep hope alive.

We wish SEC to approve Bitcoin ETF so as to bring more people to crypto landscape. However, I really don't think as that much importance to someone who can already trade btc on exchanges, instead focusing on crypto derivatives might be a good idea. What  say people?? :-\ :-\

As far as I know from the news, was waiting for the decision of the SEC will be in August, but moved back this decision and the meeting on September 30. Therefore, until this time, bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies will be at a low level. patience friends )))

It doesn't look like Bitcoin ETFs will be approved until the issue of potential price manipulation is resolved, and that's not going to happen until the market cap gets so high that even the whales cannot manipulate its price. I think it will be great for cryptocurrency community and crypto market if ETF approved by regulator. Most of the supporters of cryptocurrency of course hope a lot the existence of positive decisions from SEC AS because they assume if the bitcoin ETF file's acceptable by the SEC agency there will definitely be a large pump after that and the value of bitcoin's believed will to grow in value up to 200%, 300% or 500%.
