ETF rejection is not something to worry about as of now. In my opinion, ALT market is facing difficulty because many people are exchanging their Alts with BTC, after the news of Bitcoin ETF broke out. Both BTC and ALT market will become stable as people will try to find alternative options to BTC to make profit from and the obvious choice will be ALTcoins, and this is post the rejection of ETF.

Every single thing in this world and this market will test us and we will either make it or we will break. This will determine that the users are worth it or not. Because this market is not as easy as it looks to be.

I knew it wouldn't be easy. Everywhere where you can earn good money has its pitfalls.

Good day! If you're holding good altcoins there's nothing to worry about much. You can see some loses now but cryptocurrency market will recover eventually ad you'll recover your loses and will earn in the long run.

Yes, I think that now manipulators check for the strength of those who decided to keep their coins very long. I am not worried whether ETF is approved or not since I have confidence in the altcoins. This is indeed a good time to buy altcoins with such low price.

I think you rely too much on ETF for bitcoin and etherium, this will certainly be a good moment for the price and there will be good growth. But for me the main thing, this is how regulators of different countries will make laws regarding bitcoin and the entire crypto-currency market. If the laws are positive and bitcoin will be considered a means of payment, then I'm sure this will give a larger inflow of cash than ETF. Adopting crypto currency is the best step in the future!

The price of altcoins are actually more sensitive than bitcoin. If bitcoin price rises, altcoin price rises as much or bit lesser. But if the price of bitcoin falls down a bit, we see the price of  altcoins going down even more. So just holding the altcoins will eventually in the long run give you profit.

It does not have to be that way, you could just hold bitcoin or some other powerful alts and forget about the extreme volatility of small alts, now if you already invested in it, and you should not have done it, then your only choice is to reevaluate your decision, do you really think that you picked the right coins by selecting the altcoins you did? If the answer is yes then hold, but if it is a no then you need to sell.

Yes indeed. This will test our patience and perseverance. We need to maintain our goal to gain profit not the other way around. Time is one of the factor we are racing in. This should do in any way.

For me, cryptocurrency is for risk takers only.
Because the value at Alt market is very volatile.
It may go up or down. Some are not moving.

It's a bloodbath already. And I believe a lot of investors and traders have gotten rekt by the ever dipping prices of Cryptocurrencies. Since Its a bear market already, There's only two options now. You can either sell at a [huge] loss or better still, You hodl and ride the downtrend. But on a light note, I feel It'll take more than ETF approval to take crypto to the next level.

I think the end of this bear is very near and the spring is compressed down so far that the moon shoot up is going to be amazing.  I for one cannot wait for things to kick off.  Great time for accumulation.

To be fair, alts were greatly overpriced at the start of the year and even though this correction might seem as an extreme, it was needed. We can't go up forever. In fact, most of the projects did not have a properly working product on the table, so I would say the whole market was significantly overpriced, which is true. Anyway, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel as a majority of new devs realized that they need to prove they are worth our money and MVPs are more frequently a proof of their work (even before the start of the fundraising). This does not bring an instant success but indicates that the seriousness is entering the market which will eventually be beneficial for the whole space.

If this time you panic sell is likely to lose money, and if you continue to hold the ability will be profitable because the ETH exchange rate will surely increase at the end of this year.

I think the people who have made it this far are the true crypto warriors.  Who on gods earth would sell at this point?  You would have to be in a real dire need for cash to sell now. 

It is really not going to be easy with cryptos if the ETF approval for Bitcoin eventually fails although it won't mark the end of Bitcoin and cryptos. ut if it does pass through the SEC, then we are all clear and good to go.

When you first enter in the market the first thing you have to keep in mind is that the market is volatile and the volatility of the market makes your nerves go up and down and from that some people get into panic and they sell coins at cheap rates but the best thing you can do is to have patience and wait for the market to get green and if you have patience then you will be able to survive in this crypto world otherwise short-term investments will not take you anywhere than in a pit of losses believe me market is not easy to survive.

I might not say it as Do or die rather say it hold your breath and wait for the fresh air, you will get it, just wait for a time to come. If SEC rejects ETF proposal then both BTC and ALT market will become stable as people will try to find alternative options to BTC to make profit from and the obvious choice will be ALTcoins.

It’s all about patience. Even though the ETF doesn’t get approved anytime soon the altcoins will recover but maybe not all of them, just a few good ones with great potential. We have seen bitcoin plumbing down like a roller coaster ride before and recovering more than we expected. We'll see the same in altcoins someday.

ALTcoins have faced difficulty before, many times. There has been a upsurge for the demand of BTC which in turn has seen ALTcoins' value and demand getting damaged in the market. Now that, BTC has come to a stable state there is possibilities for the ALTs to grow again.

Perhaps ETF rejection will somehow affect the crypto market because there will be some people who will surely go panic about that issue but it will not be for long and it will not break the majority of the people from crypto world since they already knew that it is part of the game and the market is truly unpredictable and volatile with whatever circumstance it has at present. Sometimes I feel down but I chose to hold on and be patient. If you are loss in your investment, is it logical to sell. I dont think that is a wise decision to make, as there is tendency that market will recover  and you could be back in profit within a short time. i won't break easily as i do believe in this technology and it's usage in the future , not just a dream investors looking to be a millionaire from nothing in a year or so . but i'm really disappointed of myself for not selling in profit earlier and use this money now to double my stack of coins or even having some money to invest at these prices . Well, investing in different alts is definitely a necessity but many people do not like the trouble of having to check many different alts at the same time, and while I know it is time consuming we need to do it because the option of investing all your money in a single alt is a mistake as well, believe me I made that mistake before and it is not a nice position to find yourself to be in.

Manipulators will manipulate the market but i don't even care about it, After this dip it will turn out big.. Market will recover very soon. I'm expecting a huge bull run this year.

to break or not to break is not determined based on how long you will hold on to your bags.

breaking is defined when you lose money. so look at the amount you have invested initially in this market and the profit that you could have gained if you sold earlier. and each 10% that you lose is counted as another time that you broke. some people are already 9 times broken since they have lost 90% of their investment already.

for example consider ethereum that everyone loves! lets say you bought 10 ETH. if instead of bag holding you had sold it when it was high you could have gained nearly $15,000 but since you were dumb enough to bag hold now your bags are nearly worthless at $2,500.
in other words you have lost $12,500 because of being a bag holder :D

Alt market is breaking down nowadays, most cryptocurrencies are at the dip in terms of their prices. I loss already a half of my funds in trading because of the bear market. If you ask me if I will break, probably I will not gonna do ti. It is just a part of our experience as a crypt trader, it is better to have patience on ourselves and passion on what we are doing rather than quitting.

The bloodbath market has passed right now although it is still recovering. However,t he market is still on progress on way recover. It may be collapse again before reaching its top price likely some months ago. WIth this condition, you are right, this market really tests us. I think the effect of ETF is not too big on Crypto, I think the ETF is just the news forced to disturb Crypto, according to my bitcoinlah the main challenge for all Altcoin, because Altcoin is affected by rising down his bitcoin price, I think now what you can do is stay calm and play with smart.

It is true that the outlook does not seem as optimistic for cryptocurrency speculation as it was last year, but that in no way minimizes the importance of cryptocurrencies in the economy of the future, as it is a global trend that is already underway and nobody will be able to stop it. Even though SEC has been rejecting ETFs this has not caused a major damage in the price of bitcoin, which seems to be consolidating at a fairly fair price around $6,000.

Whenever i see red tide on my market, i am always eager to say "oh no im in deep trouble. I should sell all." but i always thought also that what if it's only testing me, my patience to wait more and wait for it to increase, and they are just doing something to make it down. I am always torn with this, sometimes the best people with patience, always win.

Nothing happens to us if we break though, so if you have some tokens you keep hiding, don't wait for it to dissolve that you get nothing sell them. That's is what you should be doing and buy back. The market recovery is just a question of time nothing less. We saw it last year and most people were happy about it. It gave them another chance and hope. For now, all they have to do is either buy low and sell high (Assuming that the market recovers), or be patient until the market recovers. There is nothing better than patience and positive thinking. If you have been holding bitcoin for some time I agree that this may be the perfect opportunity to buy altcoins but if that is not the case then it could be a good idea to buy bitcoin first and then wait until the market dominance of bitcoin goes up and then you buy altcoins, that way you will obtain more altcoins than if you had just bought your altcoins directly with fiat.

I agree with you, if Exchange traded funds wont be approved, we will send crypto in the hell for a long time. And many altcoins and especially altcoins without product will die and many people will loose money here.

Make sure you always invest in altcoins you believe yourself and not the one someone recommends. You'll blame yourself if things don't work right. Just make your research yourself. Secondly, make sure you invest what you can afford to loose. Don't be mean and greedy

I agree. It's the market is always in red status in the last 2-3 months. The bear market is going on for too long that I already forgot the lost time we have a good price. I've been hodling but it feels like I am starting to lose patience. Maybe I'll go on a break and stop checking the prices for a week or even months just to refresh my mind.

as long as I'm patient, I'm sure I can get through this. the most important thing now is never to give up staying confident in what you believe. and those who give up will surely regret later. as happened yesterday, many people finally regret selling their altcoins. if they could be more patient waiting for the market to recover. maybe they can survive losses and get big profits.

This is not testing, this is torture. That what it feels when you lose on investing and trading around the crypto market, so better to have a plan B or C. ETF was not approve because their is a huge interest that could be taken away especially from the developed government specifically the US government. The interest of some other country that are planning to make their own cryptocurency and would buy out other crypto in exchange of dollars. The purchasing power for a certain country to dollars currency was the great conflict of ETF.

I believe in crypto, and despite all the news and circumstances on the market, my position is to hold for the long term. Those who are patient will certainly win, and those who are not patient enough will lose.

I think that majority of the altcoin holders do have decent altcoins  as their asset kept in their wallet. I got tested a couple of times! Failed in each case until now. When you are into crypto, you need to be prepared to fail to become better and wiser. If you were coming into crypto for the first time without experience and you never lost in the process, you will never know how to be good at the culture of investing! Interestingly, ETF not been approved has not affected the market to the extent we thought it would, the bitcoin price has been relatively stable through this bear and negative news is no having bearing on bitcoin price.

ETF rejection will not cause any problem in price as the market is already near to the bottom. We are at a bearish market
