A lottery is usually a cash prize. A raffle is usually a non-cash prize donated for the sole purpose of being "raffled off."

You haven't mentioned anywhere what the prize is.

Well I guess I kind of assumed that it was obvious the prize is how ever many tickets are purchased.

If I can't use the money and this is a raffle the the prize must be the money pot. But your right I should have probably mentioned that.

Well you follow through, so maybe next time you hold a raffle more people can get on board.

Maybe it just didn't get a lot of traffic due to the forum it was posted in.

Thanks thats a good point, I just might hold another raffle with stakes a little bit higher.

I think a lot of it is uncertainty everyone is/was really use to the price being always above the $8-$10 mark and are experiencing "spending anxiety"

I'm not going to cry over 9.1 bitcents, but it shows once again that maths is not your strong suit. Scary that you're developing websites that deal with people's money.

Bitcoin fees are 0.0005 BTC. I accept that. Fair enough. But it's clear for anyone who cares to check the calculations that there is an error. You paid 1st place 0.1 BTC too much and 3rd place 0.091 BTC too little.

I admire your determination to promote the bitcoin economy. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, but maybe you need to take on a business partner to dot the i's and cross the t's, because constant mistakes can erode confidence.

Indeed, you do have a point there.
