the rules are....

7] I will generate 32 numbers and the address that match the most of them from left to right will win 75%, 2nd place winner will win 20% and the 3rd place winner will get 5%.

Player 1
    16g5cnbh8c1cwoWWporYJ8HN5z7KotHou2
     6      8                 7

Won 1st place for having 3 of the most matching number in the generated numbers list

Won 4.6BTC

Total entries: 6 BTC.

0.75*6=4.5 BTC

Player 4
     1DRvxLfZbgz1usePEHLhhHiyr5L1JYibJV
                              5

Player 4 and player 2 were tight in the race however player 4 had more matching numbers then player two.

Raffle has endded prizes and screencast will be available shortly

Has won 0.209

0.05*6=0.3 BTC.

I'm not going to cry over 9.1 bitcents, but it shows once again that maths is not your strong suit. Scary that you're developing websites that deal with people's money.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Bitcoin fees are 0.0005 BTC. I accept that. Fair enough. But it's clear for anyone who cares to check the calculations that there is an error. You paid 1st place 0.1 BTC too much and 3rd place 0.091 BTC too little.

I admire your determination to promote the bitcoin economy. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, but maybe you need to take on a business partner to dot the i's and cross the t's, because constant mistakes can erode confidence.

Indeed, you do have a point there.
