The main reason for the decrease of BTC was mainly influenced by the decisions that were imposed by the ETF, which made the investors fret and they pulled out. As a result the demand fell, and thus the price decreased.

I feel anxious, because perhaps many people like me, I loss quite a lot of his property.
I still believe there will be growth signals the end of the year, but perhaps it is only one half of the end of 2017.

Bitcoin prices decreased naturally. Here I think there is no effect of the Winklevoss. Bitcoin ETF is done, but if the price increases, it is not responsible for the reduction. I think Bitcoin can get his price very soon.

I think it is normal to decrease bitcoin price. in my opinion winklevoss are not affect bitcoin price. Buy Bitcoin ETF is accept it will affect to increase price. Bitcoin demand also affect to its price.

There was no main reason about this thread, this was totally bullshit and winklevoss rejection has been issued by SEC last year, there was no reason to comment on the OP's thread. you are actually not watching the latest news about that.

This ETF rejection news may have created a hype in the market which caused the price decreased but there are more causes and fact regarding it to decrease. Crypto market is very volatile as we know, it gets affected by news, hypes, promotions, and many other factors regarding it. I think the BTC price may not decrease at $6000 as it is in the middle state of the year. But none can assure.

I don't think if the price of the bitcoin gonna drop drastically, because I myself rarely play in trading bitcoin, just I also like it because there are a lot of altcoin that cost in influence by bitcoin.

Also, I believe that one of the reasons behind Bitcoin's downfall is that many people who bought it at the beginning of summer at a much lower price now sold BTC for $ 7,000. Now bitcoin will be quiet until the end of the month, it may fall again and then start its way up.

This news might be contributing to the current downfall because the crypto community is vigilant whatever the outcome of the said proposal, whether it will be positive or negative, I'm sure it will create some changes on values.

Bit coin price is decrease slightly but I don’t believe it decrease down 6000. I think very soon it price will increase. End of the month the price will more than 8500. Now price decrease because of EFT but bitcoin have a lot of profitable project it will increase the price.

Support  at 7000$ is very good. It stood for a day. If Bitcoin does not fall below 7000$ within 1-2 days. It will be possible to restore 8500-9000$. But if the support at  7000$ is broken. We'll see again 6000$ again. ETF I think will never get the SEC approval

Yeah the ETF thing is really affect crypto market right now.
But it's okay, we'll wait for a little longer for new big bull run at the end of the year

even though I was still not too familiar with ETF, but from various sources of crypto news that I read, it was always true that news emerged that the ETF was rejected by the SEC, and I was sure this had a significant impact on crypto

It's nothing surprisingly happened if its value is decreasing because as we all known it is a part of it's system. The ups and downs movements are definitely normal things to happens. However, even now it's value is decreasing for sure in the next few days it will bounce again and performing much better that can cause of it's increasing value so stay tuned and be always alert and active to monitoring the market therefore we can be much aware in any movements it takes.

BTC would either way decrease if it is not ready for the bull run, I so far never think bear market ends that's pure speculation mostly made by newbies every day  :)

From a market and technical analysis view we are still in a normal correction. The increase that was starting quite accurate one year ago and ended in December 2017 was a excessive hype. The price decline is a good sign actually. We needed such a phase in order Bitcoin can surge again and, maybe sometime in the future, to achieve new record price marks.


Just out of curiosity, did you invest a significant amount of your money into Bitcoin when it was at the top some months ago?

I think the demand of crypto currency has been decreased in the market. There are other reasons like rumors, negative word of mouth, banning by different governments and rejection of recent project by the SEC etc.

The downfall of Bitcoin, was due to the recent rejection of ETF approval, but now before the hearing of CBOE, the community will see another rise and hype making BTC rise again, don't worry about it. The market is on the change phase, and if ETf approval does get through in future, there is no going down for BTC again, a high chance of a bull run.

The slump shown by bitcoin is because of the recent ETF rejection, for the last few weeks the price rose above 8,000$ because of the hearing of the ETF which played a huge role behind the increased demand of BTC. Now, before hearing of CBOE, the community will definitely see another hype which will make BTC go high again. If ETF approval somehow gets through then we are definitely witnessing bull run.

The decrease in price was caused by some correction of the market where the recent ETF rejection played a big role in my opinion. However, there would be more hearings in the future and in recent studies, it was shown that Bitcoin mining is getting popular again which will definitely cause another rise in the price in the near future. Hopefully, we'll be ready for it from before.

I think cryptocurrencies definitely don't need ETFs. This is just an excuse. If a good market really needs a big country game behind it.

Winklevoss getting rejected by the SEC has definitely cause Bitcoin to fall again but they will definitely come up with a better proposal next time. The recent decrease in price looks like a major correction to me. The next trend will definitely dictate the price of BTC, in future there are a lot of good news lined up, hopefully, they will have a positive effect on the market.

Bitcoin ETF rejected by SEC is one of the main reasons behind the price decrease of btc from my opinion. Maybe there are other reasons too.

I think bitcoin will go to 6k USD if these decrease rate continues. But i think there is a chance of bitcoin to be increased again exists, if lots of investments are done in a short time.

From my view the rejection by SEC initializes the bearish tread. It continues because lots of investors left the bitcoin market. I think it will continue until more investors enter the market.

You're right. Bitcoins are about to drop to $5,000. This is unbelievable at such a rapid rate. A bad news can cause such a big fluctuation.

Bitcoin is going down for few days continuously. Not approving ETF is become another reason. But in this market falling and rising price is a common scenerio. So nothing to worry. I hope it will be come back very soon.

Why a lot of people like to think that bitcoin is suffering because of the recent actions of the SEC, I would like to think otherwise. First off, bitcoin is known and has gained its popularity for the fact that it is one thing that cannot be controlled by the government, and I don't think that has to change now. So whatever is happening is happening because it is meant to, and not because of whatever it is that the SEC has going on.

Bitcoin price staistics for the past few days have been going through higher lows and higher highs, which is indicating a downward climb of the prices anytime sooner. I actually saw this coming, the prices can't just rise higher all the time.Many people are hoping that even if the prices fall npw, it mightrise higher by the end of this yer. And as far as the rejection is concerned, Bitcoin has potential, and it will reach wherever it deserves to reach, such rejections can't affect Bitcoin anyway.      

I really don't care about the SEC or ETF because Bitcoin has been established without SEC and ETF.
SEC or ETF are only complementary and Bitcoin doesn't need them either. LOL
