So Im apart of some crypto groups on facebook and in one they keep talking about etc getting added to coinbase, what is your guy's opinion on this price wise would it be a good idea to invest in etc now before it goes on coinbase. And also does anyone know the specific reasoning behind why etc is getting added to coinbase?

I don't think it's a good time to buy ETC., because it's still a bear market.
And when ETC is added to Coinbase, there may be a big drop, and I don't know why Coinbases choose ETC.

First, have you looked into what etc even is or what it's all about.

Way back when eth started out, they got hacked in a major way.
They decided to just fork the chain so they can devalue the original eth.
When you fork a blockchain, the original one doesn't disappear, so the original eth stayed around and eventually got called ethereum classic.
The "new" eth is what ethereum is today.

All of the major devs moved from the old one to the new one, but there were some people who stuck around for etc and that's why it is still alive today.
It wasn't until last year that major developments started to take place.

now, they are very different in their use and purpose.

I fell into the Coinbase Pro ETC trap..... Bought some and threw it on the exchange expecting it to pop up like every other coin that has been listed and.............. poop.  Didn't work out.  Maybe when they put it on regular Coinbase it will have a little pump. There are better options than buying ETC now, you should think about some low price coins such as XLM, EOS. These are potential coin and will recover strongly when the market stabilizes

I disagree. Eth hasn't shown any movement and in case that it does, I think it will be downwards. Its better to wait for it and buy than investing now while there is a high possibility price drop. If you will sell it on the next bull run, you can buy anytime but if you have limited capital (like me), you can stay put and wait for it to drop.

It can't because bittrex just a small exchange site right now and it will not give a huge impact like what has already done by coinbase. For those are buying ETC right now and they will cry later because it goes down to the bottom as soon as possible. I just say this based on the my TA.

Yes i agree with your opinion, i think now is the best timing to invest in Ethereum because the price of Etc still cheaper and i am optimist few months later the price will increase.
