Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a kind of crypcurrency it was developed and created from Ethereum's Blockchain technology. This is also a coin worth it like ETH. ETC is also the preferred currency of many investors "Surf" selected.

So Im apart of some crypto groups on facebook and in one they keep talking about etc getting added to coinbase, what is your guy's opinion on this price wise would it be a good idea to invest in etc now before it goes on coinbase. And also does anyone know the specific reasoning behind why etc is getting added to coinbase?

ETC could be a great alternative to pretty expensive ETH in the future, especially as Coinbase supported it. ETC could be used for hedging ETH and BTC, as well as some other strong alts.

But my opinion is good news and may only have a short effect because news like this will only give a price increase that won't last long, so you have to invest when prices fall again because the current conditions for all cryptocurrency prices fall so you can buy as much as you can.

I don’t think it is a good time to invest on ETC. It is a risk to get in ETC market now as ETC price is already on the peak. So you should take time and research whether it will be good for you or not.

No; I think you should not do that. The price of etc is still  dropping in the market. I don't know why coinbase is adding it. But I think it would be wiser to not to invest on it before it is listed on coinbase.

I do not think so. on the platform Ethereum Classic has not yet announced any serious project, which means that ETC is a weak ETH, in its initial stage.

The market has still not hit a bull run yet sadly. And buying ETC now will not be a good decision because the market is still bearish.

 Actually, First, I would suggest to buy ETC now that the value is still low and 2nd, invest. Because the bigger you invest, the bigger profit you received. But the most important thing is patience, because you need a lot of patience in waiting for your profit. In every investment, of course long term is needed because I believe that this will give us a bigger profit.

I think that you should invest in the bitcoin as we have seen an increase in the price of bitcoin recently though it is in low now but it will rise again. But it is you decision and you can choose any but I will support for bitcoin.

I think people can invest in etc. but at a little number. The market is still in low condition and anything can be happened when the Etf will go to the coinbase. Such going can bring positive or negative impact so there is a risk.

ETC market value is good nowadays and its dropping to a low level is not sure, so we cannot say when you can invest in the etc or when you can't. The market works on the patience and if you think the price is going to rise after the coinbase news then it's not for sure, the etc is good and is still at high rates which seems to be a promising coin for everyone and if you have money and invest now then it's totally your risk as the things are still uncertain now, as you never know what holds in the crypto world.

ETC is on hype but look on how it fall.

Though there are good news like bittrex adds ETC USD markets on August 20 but it can't avoid the drop.

It can't because bittrex just a small exchange site right now and it will not give a huge impact like what has already done by coinbase. For those are buying ETC right now and they will cry later because it goes down to the bottom as soon as possible. I just say this based on the my TA.

Bittrex is a small exchange? it's one of the popular exchanges out there so it can also help somehow to pump ETC due to the adoption.

We may not see the results quickly but it really does.

Looking at the current price for ETC has experienced a very deep decline and for rumors that it will be added to the coinbase of course that is good news for ETC, so with the current price we should buy it because the price is still very cheap and BTC is currently experiencing a refund confirmed because the ETC will also follow it.
