As we all know it when bitcoin price goes down, most of the coins are heading down too. That's because bitcoin it is the Heart of all coins if its sound then all of the coins are good, if it's Bad then all of the coins are going down too. most of the time other coins are following the bitcoin price. just look up the market right now.

Yeah I noticed that too , because my other holdings are going down to same as the bitcoin do. But when bitcoin pump they will pump up too. Then some of my holdings are not following bitcoin price but it making a good price. And for me the coin who follow the bitcoin price have a good price soon.

Because the whole of crypto ecosystem has started from the bitcoin and those altcoins are using bitcoin to get its price. I mean altcoin just use the bitcoin value in dollar terms to define its price and then that's the main point how the bitcoin can become the heard of cryptocurrency ecosystem.

I agree with your post but also keep in mind that the other major factor is volume when there is panic people usually sell causing thw volume to drop but when market is bullish volume grows nicely, so volume plays vital role in moving thw market and the prices.

It is impossible to tell the origin of cryptocurrency in general without talking about bitcoin and the tremendous influence that it had the moment it came out, and still has at the moment, only that there are way more options at the moment, but it is all thanks to bitcoin at the end.

it seems to me temporarily, after about 2 years there will be no such strong domination bitcoin (50% +), even now there are already independent cryptocurrency that do not repeat for the price of bitcoin, for example - Binance Coin  :P

Yeah, Bitcoin seems like a parent of crypto coins. It is the first crypto coin, and it controls the crypto prices to date. When its price rises, then altcoins prices rise also. I don't know about the possibility for the altcoins prices be independent and no longer affected by bitcoin price at future. But in my personal point of view, it should be better when the altcoins prices can be independent.

Well-said there. No matter what, ethereum or bitcoincash or any other popular coin or token are just secondary.
As you noticed even in cmc, a certain token or altcoin has always equivalent rate in btc other than in usd.
So even if bitcoin's price is really not nice for the past months or has disadvantages in terms of tx fees, I believe there's something in store for bitcoin holders.

There are some reason that bitcoin price has strong effect on the alt coins:
- Bitcoin is the first coin created so it is considered as the cryptos king.
- Most of the alt coin have trading pair with bitcoin on the exchange, so if bit coin price down, the one its pair should down first as well.
- Bitcoin got strong effect because to many people out there, alt coins are just mean to collect bitcoin that mean everything running around with the only purpose of getting more the number of satoshi.

but there are other factors that do affect the price drop of all. many of them sell panic, so dumpers are bigger than usual.

Indeed. Bitcoin is the biggest player to move the rest of the currencies in the same direction as it would move. However many times we see some different sort of relation which is completely opposite to what we see here. I mean many time if bitcoin is going upwards then there is fiery surge of selling atlcoin for bitcoin because at that time people think that BTC is going to profit them a lot and thus there is no point in hoarding them. Thus, they go on selling them and they go down in the value. So its like BTC is the reason for their movements all the time.
