ETH is falling and again BTC Dominance above 50% now.always leader is BTC, he proved it again.So I think in the future This BTC dominance will remain near 50%..What do you guys think

BTC dominance more than 50% because many trader sell their altcoin to get Bitcoin, and this mean many trader has prediction the price of BTC will going up. I think this prediction according to Bitcoin ETF that will approved or rejected on 30 of september. If that approved Bitcoin will going sky rocket and then after that altcoin also will folow it. So after Bitcoin going up and the price overbought and then trader will sell it for buy altcoin again, this is way to make huge profit.

Why do you think the dominance of BTC is growing? Do you think that this is bad? I do not think that this is so. Many people understand that very soon the prices for BTC will soar very quickly and very sharply that people will not have time to change their altcoins to BTC, so now people make a decision and change from altcoins to BTC

Btc dominance is above 50 percent is a good news i think, Because lots of people are entering this market with bitcoin, so if bitcoin price goes up, many people can back on crypto currency world again.

Yes 100% Agree with you.. bull/bear come for BTC first and then alt also follow BTC..

No I don't think it is bad..although there are lots of good coins/projects.I just say BTC is main person/part of the crypto. .all other thing follow it.

In this time no one entering the market..just the people hold Altcoin sell their alt and buy BTC..that is how BTC dominance increase these days..

BTC took back its dominance, but as soon as altcoins starts to rally up, BTC dominance should fall, we saw that in the last altcoin rally I think we will see that again. I don't think there is bright enough future and usecase for BTC to stay market leader, there are alot of better cryptocurrencies out there that might be #1 in the future.

Yes we saw it was 38% few months ago and ETH increased rapidly.But still BTC is the leader any news effect to BTC it will effect to all crypto market..I think BTC will be leader for another few years too..still 90% of the people think crypto= BTC..specially Noobs..Yes ''there are alot of better cryptocurrencies out there that might be #1 in the future'' it will be someday, But not near future..

In general, nothing new, bitcoin has always been number one. But Ethereum is still a very good coin, and nothing bad will happen to it, I'm sure. Now is a good opportunity to invest in it.

many months ago many experts said that real ETH price is below $100 but everyone laughed at them because price was above $700-$800 at that time and they called it FUD but price has been falling from the huge bubble at $1500 down and it is currently worth a little higher than $300 and is still headed down.
and still nothing has changed. there are still bag holders hoping to become rich while they have already lost between 50% to 80% of their money so far in this pumped altcoin.

The ETH huge decrease in price was expected especially with Casper around the corner, it might even get lower around $250-$280 but mark my words this is only whales trying hard to buy cheap ETH because once ETH switch to POS and move to Casper Ethereum will shoot to the moon and I doubt we will even see $1000 mark again.

Yes I also hope so..If not most of ICO/ITO also fall in near future badly..

Who knows what will happen after, for those non believers it will still the same, price will pumped in each updates and good news out from the community and dumped when fuds and negative news showed up, this two coins always have its time for gaining attentions and support we don't need to keep speculating but to continue to pursue if whatever project we do support in the long process.

I think right now because the market is down, more and more money is going into bitcoin.
I think it's a positive sign because bitcoin is the leader in the cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin dominance rate is above 50% first time in 2018 while Ethereum is falling as some  ICOs  are panic selling
and trying to protect their collected capital. In last 30 days ICOs sold near to 100K  ETH.
When the market is falling BTC always rasing it`s dominance we have already  got used to it.

What you have to judge is the trend of the future encryption market, not the current data, if you can see the value of the future. Then you can get more.
Bitcoin is the leader forever, and all the coins are falling only bitcoin. I think it's obvious that you have to invest in the currency.

I think even if the dominance of BTC remains 50%, it still doesn't change the fact that we are facing a market that is bearish this year. Market will keep on going down.

this just means that the market is working as it should meaning the the bubbles are bursting and everything is coming back to its real value in the market. bitcoin to the bottom and altcoins like ETH heading there.

I think that this is prove to everyone that bitcoin will always be the leading coin in the market, Like you stated the dominance of bitcoin has gotten to over fifty percent. The market will still continue to follow the price of bitcoin and rely on bitcoin for their value. That aside, we need to be more patient with the market and people need to  stop selling their coins.

This is happening because people trust Bitcoin more than Ethereum. A dominance of over 50 % for Bitcoin is not a bad thing though, it just means that people feel safer to hold Bitcoin.

I think people just buy more bitcoin to holding for long term, if people just want to save their money it can be tethered. So btc dominance proved that many buyer trust with btc. Not to getting bitcoin only with sold their altcoin but bought it.

That make sense because there is no way to BTC is going down in the investment as compared to the altcoins. Weightage of the of the bitcoin is going to be always higher as compared to the altcoins because its popularity is way higher than them plus people find it very appealing to put their funds into the bitcoin whenever there is mega drop in values like the current one. Meaning they will go and buy more BTC in the down trend and also they will convert their alts coins into the BTC and thus ultimately will be pushing the BTC over the alts. The dominance is going to be higher for this reason.  ;)

Bitcoin dominance happened last year just before the hyper bull run that took it all the way up to 20k. During the bull run more cash came into the crypto market diversifying their portfolios into various altcoins pumping the prices to all time highs. The same will happen again later this year so there is nothing to worry about

It's not just ETH but the entire altcoin market. It's been going down for over two months now.

This means that people are beginning to dump altcoins for Bitcoin as the BTC market proves to be most profitable market today, plus there's a bullish sentiment surrounding Bitcoin so it's not surprising to see a shift from alts to BTC from investors, general public, etc. But we've seen this pattern before, from January to April of this year we saw the same increase in the BTC dominance, and it took only one month to go from 45% to 36%. So I wouldn't say the BTC dominance will stay at 50% for too long.

Once the Altcoin cycle begins and the market starts gaining confidence from investors again, the BTC dominance will go down as more capital will enter the altcoin ecosystem.

In my opinion this bitcoin price is really connected with guys who withdraw on bad red market their altcoins through the bitcoin and changing it on bitcoin, so it's the reason

This shows that the market is very bad. Investors were not interested in investing in altcoin. And they moved to bitcoin and waited. It made the whole altcoin go down. As ETH has fallen sharply in recent days. The market today has recovered slightly. But if Bitcoin can not go up to 6700$. Then we will see the market will be more pathetic

I do not think so, I believe that in future the price of BTC will be reduced and the money will be divided equally over all altcoin, because now the gap is too large, it is breaking the balance inherent, so it will adjust everything about the balance  ::) 8) :o :( >:( ;D

I don´t think is correct and also it is not good news if the dominance is increased due to a general shrinking of the market. The aim is to pump, not to "dominate"

I think now it is a matter of volume and we will see btc going through the roof, just imagine a dominancy of over 60% and market volume growing over 1 trillion mark, i think we can easily expect btc over 30k mark in such situation and this can happen in the last few months of this year.

I think ethereum still hasn't fallen, this should be the right time to buy ethereum because the price is very low now. you can get a lot of profit if the price goes up again.

I think this decrease of ETH is a combined effect of this sell and the bear market

this is happening because those who thought $6000 is the strongest support and so were selling altcoins to profit when BTC bounces back to 8k making its dominance up again to 50%. once it rises up again its dominance will gradually decrease. btc will dominate the more when there is bull run but then i doubt this  will happen this year. its best for it to keep its price below 10k. this will give more time for you to accumulate even just 1 btc.

What  50% do you mean? Cryptocurrency is dominated solely by btc and all the other altcoins are just following the lead of what btc can do. I don't think that even when the price of eth will be increasing, btc will not be dominated.

Yes It is not a bad thing..BTC rising/strong means whole crypto market will be safe..still people think crypto = BTC. and it is not 100% wrong.

Market's still down none the less so i think there's not much to it. And people probably prefer to just hold on to their bitcoins than being active in buying and selling or holding alts.

The greater part of the merchant offer their altcoins to get Bitcoin, and this mean numerous dealer has expectation the cost of BTC will going up. I think this expectation is completely in decision of ETF comes about.

Bitcoin will be the strongest for the future in a very long time, behind Bitcoin always dominates the market every day, turnover and demand reaches 50% of all altcoins, especially for Ethereum, it's common in the public eye, Bitcoin always does that to pump in in the near future to be able to return to more convincing users around the world, the future of cryptocurrency is in Bitcoin because this is the most talked about coin with the biggest users so the advantage to always dominate in the next few years is always open.

I think that the question is how big is the fall going to be, since it is obviously here to stay, and doe not look like making any improvement during the year.

Bitcoin and ETH work as a pair and like we have seen always they rise and they fall together it is true that bitcoin is more dominant but ETH has became as valuable as BTC

I think BTC Dominance is rising up because people sell alts and ICOs are selling their ETH to Bitcoin and exchange bitcoin to fiat to move money out from crypto market to real life.

But good sign is that someones are buying and accumulating  all that Bitcoin for new big pump after ETF on Bitcoin approval sooner or later.

ICO projects are selling their Etherium to get money for marketing and for hiring and their product development. Everything will be ok in long run. We are just waiting for bitcoin ETf approval and after btc rise we will see Eth and altcoins rise

Bitcoin will continue to show this strength and I don't see it reversing anytime soon. The price rise might be attributed to a lot of buyers trying to get hold of Bitcoin at its current price and not much going for ETH at the moment.

I think with such market rules BTC will be dominant for next few years. When new big investors will decide to raise another altcoin - then naybe something will change.

I think that with the decline in the number of ethereum owners and low prices, a lot of people choose bitcoin as an alternative choice. so I think bitcoin can return to high prices if users prefer bitcoin as trading coins or buying and selling.

Yes, it proves that bitcoin always dominates and this happens because many who sell altcoins then enter for bitcoin. I think bitcoin will first skyrocket then altcoin follows.

We cant stop people selling their coins if they wants to especially to those who are in worries and doubts of crypto.  Actually,  trust is the only key to be more patient and can drive us to control our emtionion from worrying of what will happen next.

Yes you are right..BTC is still king of the cryptocurrency so when crypto rise btc will rise so I think brc dominance will remaining near 50% for long

There will be a long bear run before we see any signs of Bulls. Now people are first selling their alts, then they will tank BTC down and buy into tether. Once Bitcoin is at its knees and most miners shut down, then we will see the big money flow into BTC, then alts. I am not dumping my positions, I am holding now, I have lost 99.5% of the value of my portfolio now anyway, so it isn't worth selling at these prices. The market will capitulate until there is blood overflowing in the streets, then we will see the institutional money roll in.

Well usually when bitcoin dominance above 50% all of cryptocurrencies price will goes down, but don't worry about the trend down all of cryptocurrencies price because it will rise again i am sure about that, it is just about time and we must be patience. It is good time to buy more in discounts of price. :D

I think no matter if ETH price fall or rise but BTC is still the king of cryptocurrency world :). I don't think BTC need ETH price dump to prove its dominance :). Although there are so many new good cryptocurrencies but I don't think there is any cryptocurrency can take the 1st place of BTC in next 5 - 10 years :).

bitcoin will always give the proves that bitcoin is too strong in the market although the price now is down deeper. soon, after this weeks, the bitcoin price will increase again and will reach the highest price again. so don't let this moment disappear, buy more bitcoin if you think you still have money because if the price increase, you will regret this.

I don't agree with you. Bitcoin at its knees? Miners shutting down? Really? That is too pessimistic in my opinion. Bitcoin will bounce back in no time as it has done this many times in the past(Am expecting it to bounce back before the end of this year due to the ETF proposal approval) and will rise beyond $20k and reach a new high. This sounds too good to be true, but I am quite confident this will happen which is the reason I am optimistic about Bitcoin in the near future.

I think everything is obvious ! Coins and tokens are not all in demand and only the best of the best will survive ! Bitcoin is the flagship and it will always have the first place and after the downtrend you will see a very good growth !

Dominance Bitcoin 50 percent is probably a normal state in the market. Previously, it happened to reach 90 percent of this value, but now probably already this we can not see, because the coins became much more.

It is a good sign when marketcap of Bitcoin is more than 50% of the whole crypto market, it shows that more people are speculating that Bitcoin price will rise.

i don't think that's a good sign. all other coins are in red. btc only rise up because of those users selling their alts not because there are new users trying to buy some btc for their investment. this only means that we are the only people fooling each other here in the crypto space. we didn't make money because someone is interested in joining the market but someone had sold their tokens for less.

Bitcoin domination will always be around 50%. It would not have extolled Etherium, or even some sort althin, it will not be good things, if bitcoin will be all that bad... The entire market depends on bitcoin.

originally I thought that the ethereum will be the winner in the year 2018. However, looking at the market this morning I changed my mind. I think this will still be bitcoin so the best this year.

     You're right Man despite of  the crash of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is still in dominance of all crypto, as we can see the price of Ethereum is already hit $200 plus but Bitcoin price is stagnant at $6000 plus, and sometimes Bitcoin price will climbing up but other altcoins will remains and others are continued to diminish.

Bitcoin has always been dominating, and I think that this will be on for some time. This is why some people predict that with the fall of bitcoin, the general market will collapse. The price of Ethereum falling has nothing to do with Bitcoin's dominance, even when ethereum was it its highest, it was still so. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing though.

bitcoin is already certain to always be in the forefront in crypto. even every altcoin that there is almost everything there is certainly the idea of the bitcoin so reasonable when this has always been the top than others. regarding the ethereum fall, I think this is a normal thing to happen because it doesn't affect anything. It's when it was in a phase that is priced low so it is good to buy this as much as can be had while waiting for improvement will occur.

No matter what the conditions are bitcoin still dominating the crypto market because bitcoin is the king in the cryptocurrency and every coin have to follow the step of bitcoin. And when bitcoin price is going to go up, the other coin will down for a moment but it will getting higher after bitcoin can stay at the one price level. Although the bitcoin price is down, bitcoin always dominate the market, and it will start to reach the higher rate later. I don't think that there is any coin that can replace bitcoin dominance in the market because they need more power to beat bitcoin itself which is too difficult to do right now.

BTC still become leader and always giving impact into another, like or not that's the works. This is reality we should take as experience, before do activity please see bitcoin price action data as basic analysis. Eth also become the main alternative even the price go down many people still use it as income ( trading/ invest ) and built business using it ( ads, on line product ). See it as positive side and you can use it to recovery asset or just take profit for next step.
