I really did not know what happened to NEO. I bought it at $ 160 and ranked 6 on the capitalization market. Yet today the price of NEO is only $ 19, ranked 15th on the coinmarketcap, why a potential co-platform and such a large ecosystem have fallen dramatically. Do you think this is a good time to hold NEO?

It's hard for anyone to know the exact reason for NEO, I think just as patient patience will come to you

Neo has weak community and lack of competitive, that's why NEO lose.

this is not just a matter of neo, look at other alts, even eth alone falls far behind everyone's expectations. I think market conditions are very bad and much worse than bearish earlier this year.

jesus christ!!! that is very bad what a shortage, that is why i don't trust any coin again even ethereum has gone beyond the market price so i don't really what is affecting the market all this days.

If we leave aside the current bearish sentiment of the market, NEO seems to have additional problems. The community is currently caught up in a debate as to whether their NEO token should remain indivisible or not.

They are about to release the next version of the NEO software, and some team members, including one of their co-founders are pushing forward the idea of NEO being divisible, which could solve governance problem and generally inactive token holders.

The other issue that could be solved with this move is price related. If the price rises again to $160, a divisible NEO could be more accessible to small investors.

I don't know to what extent the community is polarized with respect to this move, but it will be interesting to see how they deal with this dilemma.

It's ok, when the whole market down like this, NEO still is the best coin to invest.

that's very interesting. i didn't know. now i'm going to wait a little longer and not buy neo. that's too insecure for me. then i buy a little btc and later when everything is ok again i can still buy neo from the btc. that's my tactic now

At this moment considering the crypto market most of altcoins prices are falls. This is not just a matter of NEO.
Ethereum and Bitcoin also falls behind expectations. When the market become recovery again, Neo price will rise again. Just hold.

Lots of Altcoin also fall. Its better to hold Neo and wait for bull run  :(

I think Neo has suffered greatly from the bearish market and things have been stalled since
But it is still a beautiful project with good concepts

NEO is a good project, but there are many barriers.
First is the law relating to digital money of China! Secondly, this times, most altcoin and tokens are heavily discounted, which affects the overall trend of both bitcoin and altcoin!

It same to me, I have invested LTC in the highest price, now only worth around USD55 per one, I have lost over 1 BTC in it, but I will hold it for my long term investor, it's always hard to speculate in the future, I till trust in the crypto in this time, and believe market will growth again later.

it's not a good time to hold NEO and i have said that in so many times after the voting result about the popularity of the smartcontract platform in china has been putting NEO below ethereum and it's not worth to ohld NEO token anymore. Lack of demand and development and really small community even there was an ethereum ico that has been giving a better monthly airdrop than NEO it's crap platform.

The hype ended and right now the hype is gone, the fear is dominating the market. Unfortunately I also bought some at 140$ but i did increase my holdings on the way down, is old some and bought some lower. I still believe in this coin and i am not selling it mainly because there is no use of seeling it now for cents on the dollar.

Because NEO's team is currently developing another project,ONT.
And it is now in a bear market, with almost all tokens in decline.

Just kidding. in this kind of shitty market, every coin are down so hard. not only NEO. so if you did not cut loss yet, I don't think this is a good time.

I'm believe NEO is a potential coin and don't look the price right now, did you know we still in bear market? did you know NEO ICO price and what is the price of NEO before it's start to grow? Please go to check first, investor portfolio still in profit status if you bought at last year June/July, nothing you can do right now, just wait market recover, remember not only NEO, all altcoin drop a lot of value right now

platform coins like neo depends a lot on adoption and potential adoption...maybe things wasn't looking up in the past few months? but then again the entire crypto market saw a pullback...

I've heard a lot of forecasts, but almost all of them are not based on any objective factors, only assumptions, but it's like trying to guess the future price. NEO undoubtedly has potential and I believe that it will develop and compete with many similar projects.

neo is just following the trend just hold it through the bloodbath btc dominance is increasing and there are speculations that bull run will start from oct. if you have hold it since the dip  then just don't sell it now

NEO showed a very strong decline, but I still believe that NEO will be able to restore its previous performance. NEO moves down with the whole market, only faster than the whole market, I hope that it will grow faster as well.

No body can give you the right answer to your question, as it is impoosible to predict when Neo and the whole market will recover. But one thing is for certain, you dont make loss only when you sell.

NEO will be one of the first risers when the market returns! It will come to a level that will make investors happy again. There is no doubt in this regard.

I will advise you hold your neo coin don't even think about selling them. NEO has good potential and very low supply as market will recover NEO Fight back harder. 

NEO certainly has issues at the minute. That said, i still think its a great platform and there is some great innovation going on there. Like every other coin its bleeding out at the minute so you just have to invest wherever you feel comfortable. For the guys that bought the top...its going to take a while to get back to those days! ???

For your situation, you better hold it and let it rise again cause it's a big loss for you if you didn't do it.  It is a bad idea to sacrifice such huge amount and sell your tokens for the seek that it won't loss totally.  The entire market is in dip, we shouldnt have to worry so much cause isn't only NEO is affected but all coins in the market.

Nothing happen to Neo, the price is low mainly because of the market situation and most of the coins are affected. Sorry to hear that you bought at ATH, the only way is to hold now. Selling at 10% of your purchase price doesn’t make sense.

neo has good potential, but for now it is only too late to develop and maybe now neo can still develop and have good potential in crypyto. so I think neo can grow tall in the future.

Now it would be foolish to sell it for $ 19 and lose $ 141. Just forget about it until the next wave of HYIP and growth. Neo will show itself, believe me

Considering what is happening to all coins i would say it is about right. What you need to remember is that institutional investors will only buy up trustworthy coins, and Asian whales will certainly pick up a shed load of NEO. Holding big wallets of NEO and GAS tokens now will make you a wealthy individual this time next year.

Personally, I now buy it all free money, because his next target is 300-350$  and it is after all x13 and I can only be happy)

If you will just be fair you could see that the whole crypto market is in difficult in which all coins are unhealthy specially Bitcoins and Ethereum in which there price dramatically fall down. This was due to bearish trend in which in effect on that time therefore you should not be worry by your self because you are not alone on this investments that suffered losses. Hopefully the Bullish market is starting and be confident that NEO will bounce back as it was belong to the top ranked crypto.

Yes,  there has been a huge decline in Neo coin in relation to ranking at CMC exchange site and it's market price value. However,  I believe it is not over yet for Neo for it will continue to move on and recover from it's dip.

What is happening to Neo isn't anything that requires a cause for alarm at all. As we can see this problem isn't for one, but for all. Several more promising projects than Neo have suffered even serious cases than Neo. The coin will eventually turn out better than it used to be when stability returns back to us. The now is having it's play on Neo. Nothing more, nothing less.

first,think about its total total market cap.
how much it(NEO) needs to reach that point ? and how far Bitcoin needs to reach in order to help it goes there ?

Actually, this is not only applicable for the neo bt other altcoins including eth has drastically been dropping down their value even bitcoin is falling down. So how can only neo keep its price in a regular rhythm in such a bad bearish market. All you need to do is be patient more nd invest more on neo. Because as o think it is the high time to invest.

though the crypto market is volatile in nature and all coins are volatile in trends and value but NEO is a potential coin because it is striving to suruvive the volatility of they crypto market.

It depends on how you do it, you need to do everything with your head and study it. What they want to block, of course, is not correct. The project is developing and does not stand still. This is very good, as the more you develop, the more positive results, it's fine.  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
