The current situation is definately pretty dangerous as USA has the biggest debt of all countries in the world and at the same time is one of the strongest economies. If the situation persists and dollars will be printed like toilet paper, we might see a tremendous financial crush and cryptocurrencies might be a safe heaven.

Well, yes i can see that the US dollar has a lot of debts but i don't think it will be useless. The dollar has been a trusted currency and is used universally. It is not easy to discount a currency that has built a lot of trust all over the world.

It would not be easy for it to go down but if things go on as is, it is very likely that it will become less valuable. It can lose value real fast like what happened to other currencies in the past that has been long forgotten.
people get into this FOMO because they personally believe bitcoin itself, like gold or any other commodity, can be a safe haven for the speculated upcoming economic crisis of US.

Doesn't matter what the situation of the USA's economic condition is, or how much in debt this country is, the market will still have an ample supply of demand for dollars.

I wouldn't worry about the debt too drastically.  USA may have the biggest debt but they also have the biggest bombs.  That's why the debt has been allowed to get this big.  The world is going to get very interesting shortly.  Bitcoin/Gold/Silver/food for the collapse.

Sound advice to blunt the impact of domestic unrest, but if and when the USD becomes worthless we'll have more pressing problems on our hands. I don't see that happening outside a complete global economic collapse, in which case you may want to stock up on goods instead.

America is a big economy. The dollar dominates the economies of many countries around the world. I hope that the US economy will overcome the downturn, otherwise it will affect the world economy and Bitcoin.

This is a good news that came from one of the economists here in the world. It helps to open the eyes of other  people to be in cryptocurrency now.and hope this thing will help us to recover the price in the markets. But as what i have been observing, its too hard for this to happened as we know that usd is the strongest currency when talking about in real world as they have the greatest economy.

Having a currency which is printed and we don't know if how many were already printed or does it still have the value what the government promised is quite disturbing. Thinking that one day when you wake up the paper you were holding has no value anymore. This illusion made by governments is coming to an end and the new currency, BTC will replace them all.

I doubt that there would be a fall in the value of dollars anytime soon. Besides dollar is a trusted currency used in other parts of the world too. Even if dollar falls in its value, it won’t be anytime soon.

In my opinion U.S dollar may lose its current value but I don’t think it will be totally eliminated. U.S.D is well established, accepted and trusted across too many countries of the world. On the other hand, BTC is not.

I wish this should a significance influence on bitcoin, because everybody prefer to exchange bitcoin to dollar than any other country's fiat. Meanwhile when dollar is down it will affect lot of transaction and can cause global devaluation.

The dollar isn't going to crash any time soon... I mean invest in Bitcoin, but don't do it because you think that the dollar will eventually become worthless, you could be waiting for a very very long time.

Since in many countries, bitcoin is not so popular so most of the investors may switch to gold in an economy is in danger. Only a small percentage of investor may invest in cryptos but that may be good enough to bring up a whole crypto market. But I don't think the dollar will become worthless instead it may lose some demand for a while.

According to many experts, bitcoin is the future. If US dollar becomes worthless in future, crypto can replace it. But as dollar is an established and well-known currency all over the world, so, there is very less possibility for US dollar to become totally useless.

I am agree with it. I think there is a crucial financial status is going on in USA. So bitcoin can be a great opportunity to save the bad times. So buying bitcoin won't be bad from my opinion.

Well it’s true that USD has a lot of debt. But it will never be useless I think as it is a very trusted currency all over the world and it is used everywhere. So it is not that easy to replace it.

I am sure dollar won't be same as today forever. It is used by all the countries and it is accepted every where. But it is just some papers and there are many debts. It will finally crash. But I am not sure about the replacement by bitcoin.

Well I think partly you are correct. USA is recently having bad time with their dept problem and all so crypto currency could be a great financial help in such situation. But that does not mean traditional currency will become entirely valueless.

Actually like crypto market fiat currency also fluctuates. The main reason are dollar loss its position because of debt and we all know USA has great economy but they may fall in trouble in future because of debt.

The problem is that we need USD to be able to invest in cryptocurrency. Without it, you will be just sitting down watching the war from a distance. Where can you get USD? Job? Parents? Anything can happen in this modern technology era. Although Bitcoin is getting its popularity all over the world, but it will not collapsed US dollar. In near future bitcoin will be used instead of fiat currency.

To be honest, I believe that cryptocurrencies will definitely get the space in global fund transfer scene within a decade or two but I don't see cryptocurrencies creating any threat for the traditional fiat currencies. If someday the whole world only using btc or other crypto to paying everything, fiat money will not be worth anymore indeed.

It seems to me that whatever problems the dollar may have, it will still remain the main world currency for a long time, even if bitcoin becomes one of the world's leading players.

Bitcoin really has a big advantage over the dollar. But I can not imagine that in the near future people can completely abandon the use of the usual paper dollars. It is unlikely that this will happen in the near future.

I am certainly for the use of bitcoin, because this currency has very great prospects and can bring much more benefit to the economy than the dollar. But we are all so accustomed to it that it is unlikely that there will be a complete replacement of it with bitcoin.

i dont know how Kim Dotcom came up with this conclusion but i dont think US dollar will become worthless as he speculates. It is true bitcoin will grow and become the major source of currency for transactions but then the US dollar and the native money of all countries wont phase out. They will all co-exist with bitcoin for transactions.
